Gatwick Manor Inn in Crawley

Staff really friendly and welcoming. James serving food was exceptionally professional friendly and courteous! Also the bar staff were equally welcoming ☺️. Especially nice for a pub that has such transient customers. A credit. Thank you from Karen Jane and Kay x

This is a Great pub with so much character, great atmosphere & in a perfect location. The food was brilliant with a great selection & proper food, the scotch egg (special!) & steak pie was incredible. Honestly chaos, the waiting staff had not a clue of professionalism about them and were quite rude to the people around just wanting the basics. Never got to try the food as they had stopped serving at 6pm The bar man was great though.

We stayed at the Premier Inn which shares the same site. We went to Gatwick Manor for a drink and later something to eat on a Sunday. In the afternoon it was very busy so when we went for our table booking at 7 pm they had run out of Sunday lunches. They had tried to call us earlier to alert us but didn’t get through. No problem though as there was plenty on the menu to please us and we both enjoyed our burgers which were good quality. We were served by James who was chatty and welcoming.

Lovely looking old’y world’y setting with period features and nooks and crannies everywhere. Some of the exterior looks run down, it is served by three local hotels (Premier inn) being one of them and where we stayed. This is where things end. Sunday 29th Sept 6 ish pm the place was medium busy and stopped serving food as they were stacked out(they said), that being said wasn’t a problem as we Uber’d a pizza from Domino’s. The service in the restaurant was the funniest of things. The white haired persons attitude was quite hilarious but rude, we asked for a table, they flounced off, we found one, the table next to us asked for some salt, they nodded their head and said some over there (nod) if you want to get it. Someone else asked for vinegar and it was ‘over there’ nodded again. The bar man though was a nice chap, we asked for something and he gave us an alternative at a fraction of the price, well done that man (big beard). If it was a help yourself buffet then the waiting staff would be happier, as they would be able to preen theirselves more than was already apparently were. Would I go back, well the menu was more limited than McDonald’s without the shake machine working so nope probably not.

Myself and wife came here for an overnight stay. We were served by James, who was excellent. He could not do enough for us and his customer service and helpfulness was amazing. A genuine person who could not do enough. The food was first class and I would recommend a stay here if travelling via Gatwick. We will be back.

A wonderfully quaint restaurant with a quiet atmosphere, excellent food and great service. You can celebrate any occasion here and everyone will have an unforgettable experience.

Received a parking ticket a few weeks after I visited here. Contrary to the numerous responses from Greene King on here, the staff were not able to cancel the ticket because nobody working there answers the phone. Thankfully, the pub is not very good so I don't feel bad about never returning again.

Gatwick manor Pub, gave outstanding customer service going above & beyond for All our needs whilst visiting. Food is amazing high quality for the prices.
