Garfunkels - The O2 in Greenwich

Un grande problema dell'O2 arena è la chiusura dei ristoranti della struttura intorno alle ore 22, anche in caso di concerti o altri eventi. Questo ristorante, invece, ha orari molto più ampi e ho potuto così gustare in pace una bella pinta di birra brasiliana dopo la sessione serale delle atp finals

No el o2 subir y pasó por aquí por la comida. Tuvimos una selección de comidas y bebidas y un postre muy bueno. La comida no era de primera clase, pero Gordon Ramsey perfectamente comestible. La camarera era muy buena. Todos eran buenos y el lugar estaba limpio y ordenado.

I caused total confusion when I asked for a beer!If you fancy wasting your time....... then this is the place to go, young lady will advise you to take a seat for the waitress to take your order and then you will wait..and wait...and wait...................then wait a little more.....then get sent to the bar to get your own drinks - no problem - waited at an empty bar with four barmen busy trying to work out what they were doing there....... then I surprised them by asking for some drinks - I know, silly me, fancy asking a barman at a bar to provide me with some drinks - this was something they could not work out and I appeared to them to be speaking in an alien language....... attempt number two..........................nope - time to move on to next door! Absolute sham of a place.

Had a meal before doing up at the O2, just a pizza and garlic bread to share as it was only 11:00 in the morning. Only two people in the restaurant so service was very quick, only criticism is considering we were the only people there why did the food take 25 mins? Waitress was very nice.

We had booked to see Mrs Browns Boys, we got to the O2 rather early and chose Garfunkels to have dinner at, we were seated straight away and drinks order taken, around 2mins and drinks had arrived, I chose a pizza and my mum an omelette both came out nice and quick food was tasty and hot staff were friendly and polite, highly recommended

We arrived to a small queue outside to a pleasant young lady who greeted us politely and with a smile, apologetically she explained that there was a 15 - 20 minute wait not a problem. Ten minutes later she announced two tables were ready, a table for four and table for 2, we could see then quite close and prepared ourselves for a feast! However, the people in front, a couple, were seated on the table for four so our party of three were told there wasn't a table for us and the couple behind got the other table. still. We didn't mind we were enjoying ourselves. A few minutes later we got a table so no harm done and the world was restored to order again....The table we were given was next to the staff cutlery area, next to a pillar with the slightest gap between our table and it, from hence the show would commence.I have encountered various sticky things in my life, stuck my fingers together many a time, but never had I felt such stickiness as was our table! The cutlery and serviettes where firmly fastened should an earthquake occur - I did infer whether I could lift the table to see if it would stick to the ceiling - but why waste the energy on something so obvious, I concentrated my thoughts on how I would be able to detach my fingers from the table!I digress, a lovely waiter took our food and we were now set!! Horaah! no. Every 2 minutes a waiter insisted on squeezing through the the impossibly small gap shooting this backsides into my face whilst simultaneously having to duck to prevent the trays from removing my scalp, the first couple of times were forgivable, 40 minutes of it I assure was infuriating. At least I could console myself with watching the waiters constantly dropping the cutlery onto the floor and putting straight back into the "clean" sets.I have to say the food was ok, the chips were a little undercooked but that's just my preference, the experience however was quite the opposite.In conclusion, I did manage to remove my fingers as you can tell, I paid and was asked to place a review on trip advisor, I have.I'm sure if there were a better table it may have been better, but it was quite clear we were not happy and no attempt was made to rectify, on the contrary it was ignored and even persisted with.

We were seated at our table at 11.45 am, Our food and drink order was taken almost immediately and that's when it went down hill, Our drinks arrived 15 mins later however after 30 mins still no food we asked our waitress what was happening and was told the food was on it's way, after a further 10 mins we asked for the bill for the drinks and left. Yes it was busy but this is the 02 and they should have been prepared. Would not visit again.

Went into this restuarant by chance when visiting the O2. had a lovely meal made even better by the service given by Ieva who was so helpful and cheerful - Thanks

We arrived at 6.30 pm needing to be in the Arena for 7.30 pm. We sat down and were given menus quite quickly. The table was a bit sticky and could have done with a nice wipe down with hot water. Luckily we caught the waiter's eye to order and ordered the food and drinks at the same time. The drinks came quickly and the food followed on after about 10 minutes. The garlic bread had little flavour and the spicy coleslaw with the burgers would have struggled to fill a TEA spoon and was reasonably horrible. The burgers well nicely cooked, but the buns a bit over toasted. At £48.80 for 3, I thought it was more than enough, and perhaps around £35 - £40 would have represented the true value. However, we were all done and dusted in good time to spend an evening of culture with Mrs Brown and her boys!

Appreciate it was busy but 25 minute wait to be served with your meal ... And then our meals were hi jacked by another waiter so there was a quarrel between the staff ....so another 10 minutes added ....food was not even average very disappointed ...

Had a meal here during an event at the O2. I thought that they would be 'geared up' for large groups and busy days but not so. The service was quick but the food was slow in coming. We arrived long before another large party but their food appeared long before ours.. And nobody had ordered anything complex. Food quality was poor: fish cake was just that.. With a small potato that was not freshly cooked. No salad and garnish so a rip off for the price. Other meals very similar or poor quality and size. We found out afterwards that we should have had a discount applied for attending our particular event but the waiters did not bring this to our attention: and due to uniforms worn there would have been no doubt of an entitlement! Disappointed.

Maten på Garfunkels är oftast riktigt bra och även denna gång med Fish and chips och en Cesar sallad blev vi inte besvikna. Ljudnivån i restaurangen blev efter hand då den fylldes upp besvärande hög men den trevliga personalen möjliggjorde ände en riktigt god och trevlig middag.

Due to traffic we arrived with about an hour to eat before the event (would recommend leaving more time (say 2 hours) as all restaurants had queues by this time!) and wanted something basic. There was a 15 minute wait in the queue but once we were seated service was very prompt and the staff were polite, helpful and aware of the time constraints diners were under. We had fish and chips and a burger, they were reasonably cooked and served. It was an "average" meal at a sensible price (bearing in mind the prices usually charged in the O2). It was not fine dining (but we did not want/expect that) and would use it again. Note the beer was cheaper in the restaurant than in the venue itself! We left the restaurant in time for the show.

We are here whilst waiting to get into arena, waitress Vanessa was great and did all she could to help, food good but not extremely good.as the table turnover is rapid food is cooked as fast as possible, and can be a little bland, nothing to complain about but as with all such venues nothing to sing about either, apart from friendly staff

The place was not up to standard, wait to be served was long and food was cold. It wasn't busy enough for the poor service to be justified

Management here seems to have changed...staff are familiar but the atmosphere seems to have a little sour taste to it.My once favourite restaurant to go with friends when visiting the O2 has become a memory which is quite sad. I remember a member of staff shouting and swearing close to my table at other members of staff. To me this was shocking and inhumane...the food arrived cold due to this de motivating individual having a domino affect on the business here. The reason why I have given this place a 3 star rating is purely based on memory and the attention to which floor staff in particular Ahmed? Guy from Egypt take care of their guests. I believe this once amazing place where I catch up with friends can be better again...the said managerial individual either needs to leave or get sacked but floor staff are amazing and they are brilliant!

Me and a friend went to Garfunkels for lunch and we were not happy. We found the service and food to be poor. We had to wait quite a while for our food (pizza and chicken bbq) even though it was quiet. There was no sauce on the pizza so I was eating very thin bread with cheese whilst the chicken was nothing special. Definately not worth the money. We were quite hungry at this point so just ate it but won't be coming back anytime soon.

decided to eat here before Take That concert. Not been to a Garfunkels before. won't be going again. seated quickly and drink order taken but it took a while to arrive.Waiter pleasant enough. ordered burger and BBQ chicken breast. when it arrived chicken was overcooked and dry and hard to eat. Possibly, been hanging around on the hotplate or a reheated piece of meat with lots of sauce poured over it. Burger was average and Sticky toffee pudding wasn't very flavoursome. The custard was presented in little jugs with no handle so when picked up you burnt your fingers and dropped said jug, luckily no custard went on our clothes. Expensive for what it was. bill was £50 for 2 mains and 2 desserts 2 soft drinks and a coffee.

Myself and 3 friends chose here before the take that concert.. service was good, we had a laugh with the waiter. Table was sticky. When my scampi & chips turned up it was a definite case of mums been to Iceland. The scampi(all 6 pieces) were served in a metal bucket, why? I tipped them onto the plate next to chips that looked like they had been scraped from another person's plate.. The scampi was burnt and flew off the plate as soon as my fork touched them..I ate 3 bits of scampi and 6 chips, totally disgusting.. my friends meals were no better but my scampi was the topic of conversation.. also they had run out of pinot grigio wine.. We left a tip purely because the waiter was lovely and easy on the eye.. sort it out garfunkles, your have a reputation to maintain

The staff is very friendly and the system works well. But the food, while tasting good enough, is not very original. I prefer to eat elsewhere.

This is the second time we have been here. Both times appalling service. First time took us over 40 minutes to get our drinks, waiter was more interested in another table of young ladies. Waited a further 40 minutes for our food after that. Staff member walked off when I was trying to make a complaint.Last night, we gave them another chance, no queues, quiet. Good start, ordered at same time as table next to us, ordered same things. Got drinks quite quickly, couple next to us food arrived. At half 7 they wished us luck, we were still waiting and waiting. Finally got our food but then missed whole of support act for the 2nd time. No one in their cares that you wait ....

We hadn't booked so had a 15 minute wait for a table 1 hour before a major band played a concert there. The staff were friendly and the food was good. The waiter Octavio was a star, let me wait for my family (who were at the O2 toilets). Would recommended this restaurant although would use the O2 book-a-table so secure a place but we got seating and the restaurant was packed.

Food was amazing very quick service for an event night. Our waitress 'Nicoleua' 10/10 absolutely amazing!! Would highly recommend

Went with friends after a concert and although we were in a rush due to tube times we really enjoyed the food (except the coleslaw which had coriander in which I dislike intensely)The pizzas were very good however, I would say better than Pizza Express.Service was also very good and very efficient.There is also something for everyone whether you like pizza, pasta, steak, salad etc

We visited Garfunkels at the O2 before going in to see Fleetwood Mac. We were seated quickly despite the queue being quite long. Vanessa the waitress immediately took our drinks order and on return without pressuring us took our food order. the food arrived in a reasonable time and was very enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, comfortable and the staff welcoming. Will use again

Calamari starter [burnt] half piri piri chicken over cooked . Drumstick missing server said it must of fell off when cooking .No beer on tap only bottled at over £4 a bottle .Glasses were filthy had to drink out of bottle [hate to think what kitchen is like . Three meals[small] at£64.45 feeling robbed .Complained to server went in one ear and out of the other .might as well of talked to a brick wall

A very pleasant meal before going to Fleetwood Mac at the O2 -- Marco very helpful throughout our meal.

Clean and varied menu. Not too expensive. Food tasty and well presented. I had sausage and mash which was delicious.Very busy when we visited but service was fast and courteous

We visited this restaurant in the afternoon, no wait to be seated as the place wasn't very busy. We then had about 5-10 minute wait until they asked for our drinks order but by then we knew our food order too. The drink came over promptly but then the food which was steak & fries (for me) & chicken salad took nearly 25 minutes after ordering. Order an extra drink that i has to ask for twice as it didn't arrive. Wasn't an awful waiting time but considering the amount of people in there i would expect a faster service. Food was average at best.

Choose to take my Daughter here before the Ariana Grande Concert. We arrived was seated straight away and greeted by a very nice waiter we where served by waiter - M100. Our food arrived fresh and hot my Daughter had the children's cheese burger and chips with salad and I had the Hawian pizza which had lovely big chucks of ham hock we both really enjoyed our Meal. My daughter enjoyed the milkshakes so much she had two. We will definitely be back again as everything was perfect thank you.

we decided to eat here while our children were at a concert wish we hadnt bothered. The waiter who served us hardly spoke any english and certainly didnt understand us ordered a budweiser and my husband got a becks he also ordered the spag bolognaise as its his favourite and the portion was so small my husband was still hungry when we left I had the spit roasted chicken with chips again a small portion. Definitely wont be eating here again if we are at the o2

Food was OK - hardly high cuisine. Edible, good service, nice coffee and all at a reasonable price. Best of what we could see there restaurant wise.

Just an hour before the start of the movie, me and my girlfriend decided to grab a bite and as we never been to Garfunkel's before and it has been recommended by our friends, we decided to try it out for the first time. Unfortunately I can't comment on the quality of food, as after waiting for 20 minutes to be served, we decided to leave. Taking into consideration that there were about 5 other tables to serve and 6-7 members of staff available it is absolutely unexceptionable, especially with high volume of competitors around the area.

Following the Mark Knopfler gig:First, no draught beer; "pressure up the creek!".Then, in spite of arriving when the place was virtually empty we waited half an hour after ordering food before giving up and leaving.The barman offered us our drink on the house; small compensation for an abject experience.

Visited for lunch after attending the Elvis exhibition at the O2. Because it was midweek and the O2 complex was very quiet, there appeared to be only one member of waiting staff attending to the whole restaurant which meant the service was a little slow, but she was very friendly and we obtained a 10% discount with our Elvis Exhibition tickets.We had the Hawaiian Pizza (very nice crisp base) and the ham, egg and chips (lovely thick cut of ham and the chips were very good too).Food was very good, service was friendly despite being a little slow.

We wanted to go for a drink and snack before seeing a show and it was the first place we went past with some table availability and I am glad we decided to go in.There was a friendly welcome on arrival and there is a good selection of food to choose from. Unlike previous restaurants I have been to pre-show at the O2 we weren't rushed to leave and the service was very good.Would definitely go here again if visiting the O2.

Had a family meal here before seeing a band....quick service...Nicoletta the waitress was very helpful and nice.....I had a all day breakfast...which was lush....coffee good too!

My and my partner were visit the Garfunkels at the O2 last night.We were very quickly served by David , who was an absolutely star - very professional and friendly waiter.We both ordered "The Tower of London" burgers and we didn't wait more than 5 minutes and the food was served.Very delicious and proper cooked.We will recommended this place to our friends and we will visit it again for sure.And we would like to say thank you to David for the great service!

We arrived as a group of 10 to celebrate our Godsons 18th birthday to be told they hadn't got our booking. However, luckily it was a quiet night and we got seated within a few minutes. Initial service very poor, waited for ages to have drinks order taken but then drinks and food order all taken at the same time. Dirty cutlery. The food was all pretty average, not served very warm. There just isn't anything good I can really say. We tried ordering from the salad bar but we're told they don't have it anymore even though it's in the starter and main course menu, no signs mentioning lack of salad bar. When we asked the waitress she said they are waiting on new menus but there could easily have been stickers placed in the menus to explain no salad bar. We've eaten at most of the restaurants at the O2 and all of them would easily surpass Garfunkels. They made no fuss whatsoever of our Godsons 18th, not even wishing him a happy birthday. An extremely disappointing night and he was sorry he had chosen Garfunkels for his special birthday. The service charge was automatically added to our bill but we asked to this to be taken off and chose ourselves what tip we wanted to pay. We certainly won't be paying it another visit, either this or any other branch.

Decided to eat here before a comedy show at the 02 arena. We arrived with plenty of time and the place itself looked fairly busy so we thought it must be good.There was 4 of us dining, and 2 of my friends were yet to arrive however i ordered the drinks ready for when they came. The waiter brought the drinks over really fast which was good, however it went downhill from there.My friends arrived and we went straight for mains:- Penne Arrabbiiata- Chicken and Bacon Carbonara- x2 Mediterranean Vegetable and Blue Cheese SpaghettiThe food arrived quite quickly and we began to eat. I took my first bite of the Chicken and Bacon Carbonara and I couldn't help but state that the food was really bland, and that's an understatement. There was no flavour whatsoever. I mean nothing. The 2 of my friends who were eating the Mediterranean Vegetable and Blue Cheese Spaghetti also said the same immediately after me. I assume these dishes were supposed to be made with a similar white sauce as the Penne Arrabbiiata was made in a red tomato type sauce.I thought maybe it’s just the top of the spaghetti that has no flavour so i gave it a quick stir in the plate and realised it was all just dry, no sauce at all. I forked out a piece of chicken and tried it separately but it was like trying to swallow sandpaper, again no flavour. I forked out a piece of mushroom, no flavour. And the same with the bacon - or with what little bacon i could actually find. It was disgusting to eat - like boiling plain spaghetti and putting it straight on a plate (and this is what I’m paying £10.95 for). On top of this it wasn’t even hot, it was just warm and there was no steam coming from the food.We called a waitress over and told her that the food is really bland with no flavour. She immediately turned around to the chef and told them we were finding the food bland, which could have waited. There was also another women standing behind her who she told (she may have been the manager – I don’t know). I asked if there was any seasoning she could give us to make it taste any better. I already tried sprinkling salt and pepper on it but it hardly made any difference. When we told the waitress she just seemed to look really confused. We then had to elaborate so we said have you got any chilli flakes although thinking back now that wouldn’t have made much difference either. She said they don’t have chilli flakes (are you kidding me!?), and she offered to give us a pot of Tabasco sauce. I personally don’t like chilli sauce so this didn’t help me. She could see this as it was written all over my face so she said she would ask the chef to prepare some more of the white creamy sauce they used to cook the pasta in. At this point, I sort of looked down at my plate again to see if it was even possible that this pasta had been cooked or gone anywhere near any sauce. It was not possible – it was completely dry.As it didn’t look like there was many more options available we just agreed to that. About 10 minutes later she brought over a bowl of this sauce. My food had definitely not been cooked in this sauce. I poured some over my pasta but to my surprise the sauce was pretty much cold. This did not help the already warm pasta that had been sitting on the table for 10 minutes waiting for this cold sauce. We reluctantly began forcing down the food as at this point we just wanted to leave and get to the show. As I personally hadn’t eaten since the morning I really needed to eat this but if the circumstance was different, I probably would have just walked out. I understand the waitress was just trying to be helpful, but when you are given a plate of plain food with no flavour in a restaurant, there is actually nothing anyone can do except bring a new dish out which actually tastes good (especially when 3 of the 4 customers are complaining of the same thing). Adding seasoning or more sauce isn’t going to help. I’d have thought working in a restaurant or being around food and possibly having similar complaints in the past, the staff or the chefs would have realised that. The bill came, and no discount was offered (come to think about it, not even an apology was given). It came to just short of £50. It’s safe to say I won’t be dining here again, and I doubt my friends will be either.

My husband and I went to the Garfunkels at the O2 for Dinner. We were seated promptly and straight away our waitress recommended us her favorite dish, Fish and Chips and offered us drinks straight away. She immediately went to the bar, made our drinks and served them within the same minute. We felt very special. :) As recommended we both had Fish and Chips, which was only average for my taste, but the nice service made sure we had everything we need and made it a very nice evening for us. After our mains she 'sold' us, rather charming and joking, some deserts and coffee, which we then agreed to have and it turned out to be just what I needed. It was perfect finish to our evening. Channine really put some smiles on our faces and saved the day!!

We arrived at 7pm. waited until 7:20pm just for 1 coke and 2 lemonades and a glass of water. I requested these again and they were brought over immediately. When the waitress brought these over, I queried the food as we had just over an hour until the concert started. She went to speak to the manager who was standing by the kitchen and ticking food orders off as they were going out. She was very rude and blunt with the waitress but said '10 minutes' after waiting 10 minutes we called the waitress over again.. she was shocked herself we were still waiting and again went over to this manager. The manager put her hand in the waitresses face and said 'go away' we were sitting pretty much next to the kitchen so this was hard to miss and also noticed she was doing this to other waiting staff. This is incredibly disrespectful and rude not to mention embarrassing as the poor waitress came back and had to be honest and say ' i'm sorry I cant tell you as the manager will not answer me' My friend then went upto the manager at 7:45pm to complain about the service and her be blatantly rude and was told they did not have an order for our table this was why we were kept waiting...? (other people on other tables had given up and walked out by this time) we knew this was a lie as we saw the girl take the order and when my friend went to give the manager the order again she read off what we wanted, so this was quite frankly ridiculous!We told the manager we needed the food asap as we now had no time to go else were, we received this by 8pm , literally ate all the meals within 5 minutes and then we had to run to make the concert in time. The food itself was ok but after waiting over an hour and then rushing so you didn't miss the show is not acceptable and so I would not go here if you do not have about 4 hours to spare before a show!The manager also then came up and apologised and offered 50% of the meal reduced, I don't think so love - we were not paying anything for the worst service we have ever received, and that was down to a manager and not the waiters & waitresses. The kitchen even shut up as we left so .. even though people were still in the restaurant waiting for food... I wonder if they received anything.... shocking!

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant over the past weekend. We were quickly seated and our waiter Esam was very friendly and took time to answer all our questions even though his section was pretty bus. The food arrived on time, tasted well and we were out within 1,5 hours happy with our choice. Thanks Esam for looking after us!!!

My daughter and I stopped here for a bite to eat before seeing Mcbusted. We both had pizza, food was ok. Staff were friendly.

Having dined at other Garfunkel restaurants before, my friends and I opted for this at the O2 before seeing a show. The waiter was desperate to take our orders, I felt almost harassed by the end as I hadn't decided what I wanted to eat for my mains (at this time, the restaurant had plenty of tables, so they were not overly busy). When my mains came out I was disappointed at the portion size as in previous Garfunkels, the starter was bigger and for the price you pay, you expect some value for money! The mains was fine, I wouldn't have bothered with the measly salad for the lack of it they put on the plate. Overall a disappointing experience this time.

We joined the queue but didn't, have to wait long to be seated. The waitress was friendly and attentive and the food arrived a lot sooner than expected. No problems with the meal and good portion sizes. Overall a pleasant experience.

I visited this restraunt with my partner sister in law and her friend before seeing a show in the arena, our starter came promptly was ok bit on the small side considering it was a sharing platter from the time of the waitress clearing the starter we had been waiting an hour for our mains before we called someone over we mentioned how long we had been waiting so she went to find out when returning she said it was just coming they were playing up she asked if we wanted any more drinks so I asked for a wine and my partner a lemonade mean while another waitress came over and said they were out of pineapple which my partner had ordered a Hawaiian pizza but considering we had just been told they were plateing or mains up obviously hadn't even started to be cooked at this point we were getting very agitated especially when my partners lemonade came over with a very large bit of plastic bag packaging in the drink, after a 1 hour and 20 min wait for mains they finally came my burger came out wrong and had to be taken back to the kitchen also my partners pizza( BBQ chicken as he had to chose a different main due to no pineapple ) was placed in front of him and straight away the waiter said he couldn'tet us have the pizza as there was a huge bone on it !!! This really was unacceptable it was such an unpleasant experience I too work in the restraunt trade I am a waitress so I do understand that sometimes this go wrong but for all of that to happen to one table in one visit you really need to take further action !! Will not be visiting the O2 restraunt anytime soon

My wife and I were visiting the Elvis exhibition at the O2, we arrived one hour early so that we could grab a meal before going into the exhibition, our time slot for the exhibition was 11.00am.At 10.05am we approached the doors of Garfunkel's in the O2, I asked a female member of staff if we could order a breakfast, she said we could order in the next 10 minutes but we were welcome to sit and have a coffee during the 10 minute wait, Remember this was at 10.05am, At 10.25am I asked again about ordering the breakfast, at this the waitress went away to speak to the chef, my wife and myself heard the chef shouting at the waitress, she came back to our table quite embarrassed saying it would be another 5 or 10 minutes, I paid for the coffee and tea we had drank and my wife and I left, hungry and not very happy, We spent a few hours in the Elvis exhibition and then like fools we returned to Garfunkles, we ordered the all day breakfast, or Brunch as I know it to be called elsewhere, after waiting a good 30 minutes we finally had meals in front of us, HOWEVER !! The single mushroom was stone cold, the bacon was full of white wax like bits, the grilled tomato was raw, and the chips were also stone cold, this was the same on my wife's plate also, It was meant to be a special day out for my wife, so for once I said nothing, we just got up and paid the bill, the guy at the till looked like he was anticipating a tip, not a chance, and no way on this planet will we go into any Garfunkel's again.

We were looking for somewhere for an early evening meal and thought we would give it a go, because we like to try different places. The food was just average and, in my opinion, overpriced for what it was. Presentation on both meals was just average and the batter on my wife's fish was a bit on the soggy side. First and last visit I'm afraid.

Thought we would eat at Garfunkels before The Who concert on Sun Mar 22nd. We obviously arrived when staff were either just setting up or having lunch breaks. There was only 1 server taking orders and all diners were seated in the same area. We had half a spit roast chicken and salad bar. Our food came up very quickly, was cooked well, very tasty and the service was ok, could have been a bit quicker. Maybe that was due to staff sitting at the end table eating their meals. However, it seems that many other diners were having problems with their meals. Some were sent back and several people complained about portion size. All staff were quite young and I think a senior staff member was needed to oversee service and deal with complaints. It seemed that the restaurant struggled to cope with the influx of people before a concert in the main arena.As I said our food and service was good but I think we were lucky on this occasion.

The queues were quite long due to spandau ballet being on but you could not fault how quickly they got you seated. Once you was seated service was fantastic. We had starters, main and a dessert and was very impressed with all, food was lovely and the staff are so friendly/helpful. Will definitely be returning in the near future :)

The welcome very good, table good position in resturant goid no crouding. Waitress attentive considering she was looking after 5 tables. Food was hot and plenty of it. Slightlyexpensive but what i expected to pay. Typical london prices for beer.Staff get a 10 out of 10.Deserts were spot on

We chose Garfunkels because it looked like a 'proper' restaurant unlike some that are just a lot of tables and chairs with little atmosphere. We were seated quickly as we arrived at 4pm before the rush. We were promptly asked our drinks order. Food was good with a lot of choice, something to suit everyone. Our waitress Ligita, was so helpful and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. She delivered everything with a smile and a friendly word even though she was very busy. This helped make our experiences a very pleasant one -thank you Ligita

Needed a meal before a concert, after looking at many menus outside of other restaurants, we settled on this one, (mainly due to the fact they had lasagne which I wanted), the food did not disappoint, the service was just what you would want friendly and warm ( thank you Serena), would definitely revisit if we found ourselves at the O2 again.

After visiting another restaurant in the O2 first which we left due to bad customer service we just decided to go to Garfunkel's as we wanted to eat. We were kindly greeted at the door by Eivor and served quickly and efficiently. She checked on our every need and nothing was too difficult for her. Plus the food was lovely. I would recommend their salad bar as the food is fresh and better than any other salad bar I have seen. We are now defiantly Garfunkel's converts. Can't wait to eat there again!

Llegamos a la zona tarde pero pudimos comer una excelente comida, el lugar es muy grande dividido en dos pisos. El personal es correcto aunque no prestan mucha atención como en otros lugares, los precios son correctos para la zona y clase de lugar.

Used Garfunkels for breakfast while at the C2C on Sunday . Outstanding value for full English and great tasting food. Managed to catch them before closing on Sunday night. Although only 2 staff and kitchen close to closing, service was excellent speedier and the food hot and delicious . Well done to all staff on late Sunday 8th march.

needed a good quick meal before a show. My Wife had chicken ceaser salad and I had rump steak. both were excellent

We booked in advance but as we arrived in good time there were plenty of seats available - this was at 3.30pm. Service was prompt and friendly- we were served by IEVA.We both had fish and chips as a main course which was perfectly acceptable.Worth noting that when we left about 5.15pm there was a queue of about 20 x people outside so it's well worth getting there earlyWe use Garfunkels on a regular basis in London so in general we are quite happy with the standard of food and service

Hemos cenado allí, la comida fue muy sabrosa. Tambien hemos tomado unos tragos con amigos. El lugar cuenta con dos pisos, muy amplios, y esta abierto hasta tarde. El staff fue regular pero nos hemos ido muy satisfecho.

Just needed to eat something and with lots of choice at the O2, glad we opted for this restaurant. Lunch menu well priced, extra £2 for starter or desert and the best salad bar I've seen for a long time. That alone made the meal. I just had pizza but lovely. The chicken wrap that my daughter had was absolutely packed with large chunks of chicken, lots of chips and coleslaw. Polite staff, meal served quickly and polite attentive staff. Will come again when next at o2

Popped into Garfunkels after a day out visiting London with my kids and husband. A firm favourite with my children as they love the kids menu ( a main course, unlimited drinks and a dessert). Husband had burger and chips and i chose the goats cheese and pesto pizza. My goodness! Probably one of the best pizza's i've ever had. The restaurant wasn't busy when we were there, hence the reason our order was reasonably quick. Polite and courteous staff too. Hope to visit again soon in the next school hoildays.

After spending 3hours in the Elvis exhibition we were famished!! It was 1:30pm and every restaurant had a queue outside, some of them telling us could be up to a 45mins wait!!! Although garfunkels also had people waiting outside for tables, the staff here got people seated very effciently,when a table became available. very clean inside & although the staff were rushed off their feet, they all had a smile, and could not do enough for you. The meals were good, piping hot & well presented,&not too badly priced, as you have to consider it is the o2 after all!!! It was a nice way to end our trip, before heading home.

went here for a meal whilst attending a concert at the arena. First thing to say is that the waitress was great and nothing was too much trouble. I think her name was Serena, she was Italian and was exceptionally hard working. Made time to converse with us even though the place was like a madhouse as I'm sure it must be on concert nights. The food was of an acceptable standard, nothing fancy, just what you expect from Garfunkels. In fact I think that is the appeal of this chain, you know exactly what you are getting and the quality is consistent, and all at a fair price.

We visit O2 for my Boyfriend Birthday, We opted for a bottle of wine and a couple of snacks. Everything was very tasty and not expensive. Unfortunately there was no bartender on duty - that's why you could not order a cocktail that my boyfriend he wanted to order.However, the evening was nice. Hassan, thank you for your service, you're a nice waiter.

Had a great meal before seeing the Strictly Tour Show - food was great and although the restaurant was packed with people the staff were very friendly and efficient and we got our meal quickly. We returned after the show for a cuppa and pudding (!) and that was great too. Highly recommend.

The O2 was absolutely heaving. Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour - matinee crowd leaving/evening crowd arriving, plus Bonnie Tyler at Indigo etc. Queues were forming at most restaurants; "about an hour" seemed to be the standard waiting time for those fools like us who hadn't booked and thought we had plenty of time.We joined the Garfunkel's queue and it was immediately clear how professional the staff are. The front of house manager was friendly, calm, clearly in control, keeping a close eye on table service and keeping us informed. We didn't have to wait too long, service was prompt but still friendly and attentive (thanks Eivor), we were all happy with our meals and drinks - and somehow nobody seemed rushed or frazzled! Amazing. We'll definitely go back - but we'll book next time!

O2 was packed with parents and families waiting for Young Voices choir. We had plenty of time to eat and chose Garfunkels as it looked likely to suit us all. Good service although ordering different combinations of meals tricky. Whole place filled quickly and there was a queue when we left.Food was very good and atmosphere friendly.Will definitely look out as an option for future visits

Visiting the O2 for the first time, it was difficult to choose where to eat, we weren't sorry we chose Garfunkels, good food and attentive service. Thanks to Mido the waiter who made us smile! A good start to the evening, before the children's choir performed so well.

Gosto muito do Garfunkels, há várias unidades espalhadas por Londres. O fish and chips é um dos pratos mais pedidos. Uma delícia! Boa oportunidade para experimentar esse prático típico inglês.

I have visited garfunkels on a number of occasions and i have given them a good review in the past. However after standing waiting quite a time for someone to show us to a table, we seated ourselves. When we were eventually served, the food was fine. However the waitress came and took my plate whilst my husband was still eating and then presented us with the bill before he had even finished the meal. I felt rushed and that they were trying to get rid of us, the restaurant was only half full. We had attended the NTA's that night for my birthday, and this spoilt what was otherwise a lovely evening.

My wife and I went to see our grandchildren perform at the o2 arena tonight and decided to go early and have a meal before the event. We weren't looking for anything special to eat, just a standard meal. We decided Garfunkel's looked right for us but how wrong we were. My chicken was so dry it was difficult to swallow, the chips were cold and the corn must have been cooking for hours. We waited a long time to be served which meant there was no time to order another meal. When the waitress (who was very good) took my meal back she spoke to someone who I assume was the duty manager but the manager could not be bothered to come over and apologize. I would never go to a Garfunkel's again as the food they served was not fit for purpose, not as described and they obviously do not consider the customer worth worrying about. Re-training required at all levels. Thankfully the event was wonderful and I managed to get some food on the way home that was marked at a fraction of Garfunkel's prices, as descibed, fit for purpose and hot and to top of that because the takeaway was just closing and they were starting to pack away they refused any money for it. Shows you the difference between a small business that cares and a large one that obviously doesn't.

We visited on a busy night and was seated fairy fast with no issues. Our server was Ligita/Laqita and she was very polite even though she was rushing around with other customers. Minor problem with order but it was a problem with kitchen staff rather than waitress. Food was decent, was a fair amount for the price.

we visited garfunkels because I have been to other Garfunkels restaurants and the food was good at those. This one did not disappoint. I opted for spaghetti and meatballs which was very good while my partner had the vegy burger which she said was very tasty ( I will take her word for that as vegy does not excite me at all). The service was friendly and the staff very good. Overall an enjoyable meal that added to a special day.

we came here with our son before attending a show and we had originally booked however once we got there we were seated straight away anyway.The food was delicious and service was great. Only complaint was the salad bar was very sparse.Would defo come again as it's also the only restaurant you can book online at a weekend.

Ahmed our waiter yesterday was amazing I came in with a friend. From the moment we sat down to the moment we finished our food and drinks, nothing was too much trouble for Ahmed.A very knowledgable and professional individual I was very impressed 10/10!

The salad bar is great! So for £2 a visit during weekday lunch times, it's fantastic value! BUT double that price and add some for a salad bar visit at weekends and evenings isn't anywhere near as good value! Our meals were nice. The toilets upstairs were okay, but none of the ladies toilets had soap! We tried every cubicle. Surely if the toilets are checked hourly, not all the cubicles would be out of soap! Where do the staff wash their hands and have they got soap?! All staff were friendly, and service was good.

Having previously been to a Garfunkles before, my family thought that we would go to the one in the O2 before seeing Alfie Boe. This turned out to be the wrong decision! We sat down in the restaurant at 5:30pm and got service within a reasonable time considering it was busy. Our starter came out quick. This was the only good thing which happened. We ordered some more drinks which were completely forgotten about and so had ask again for them. The waiter kept coming over saying that our mains would be 5 minutes. We had to wait an hour in which the restaurant was settled down! The manager went down to see where our food was, which the waiter did do several times, and came up with our food. We had 20 minutes before the show started and so had to rush our dinners. As soon as I cut into my 'medium' steak, it was completely red and cold! I refused to eat something which was going to make me ill! In the end we complained and got the meal free of charge but was completely disappointed with it. Would not recommend if you are seeing a show after!

Nice place inside O2 Arena. Very good breakfast, tasty and big portion with unlimited tea refill. A bit slow but kind service.

Just what you need nice place freindly helpfull staff good choice of food, I go to london quit lots and i have find Garfunkels restaurant in the O2 one of the best place you can find in o2 for dinner or quick lunch, i had lovely time and we have been serve by waiter called Mido he really looked after us nothing was too much for him great customer service skilles all they guys are very well trained good work from the management teamsThanks for welcoming and looking after us we will be back

We visited the 02 to watch enrique islesias, whilst In the 02 we decided to get some food so we thought we would try Garfunkels as we have never been. My waitress was a young lady called Rihanna, who was very very polite and kept us up to date with time shows, as well as how long our food would be which was great as it meant we did not have to rush and we had a little more time to relax before the show. Overall service was to an outstanding level and would defiantly come again for the simple fact of this waitress.

After watching the opening session of the 2014 Barclays ATP Finals at The O2, feeling hungry we were pleaed to find a Garfunkels within the O2 complex. We were told there was a 30 min wait for a table for 4 and were directed to the bar for a drink whilst we waited. The wait was no more than 20mins - always good if the front of house gives you the worse case scenario re waiting times and comes in within which I complemented her on. When shown to our table the lovely Ieva (from Lithuania) looked after us very well throughout our meal whilst other members of the Team delivered our food in a friendly and professional manner. The food was excellent in every respect - Garfunkels offer a good varied menu for all tastes at very reasonable prices. My party enjoyed a couple of the excellent burgers, a sausage and mash and a lemon and herb chicken, followed by 2 Apple and cinnamon crumbles and 2 American Style Pancakes - every dish was excellent What really impressed me and why I am recommending was the efficiency and friendliness of all the staff encountered and their excellent organisation to deliver great food and service when very busy. Was a great end to our day at the tennis

We went to see Il Divo at O2 and needed meal before show, Garfunkels supplied our needs perfectly. Told 15minute wait given menu's and had hardly had time to select before table was ready. Service was happy, drinks arrived nicely chilled, meal just as ordered and arrived 7minutes after order, dessert was again prompt and delicious and even generous mugs of coffee with separate cold milk of which there was plenty. Will definitely use again when visiting O2 for a concert!

The O2 is always busy especially when a major concert is on, we were here for Lady Gaga, we had looked at other restaurants, but the welcoming smile brought us in, service was fast and attentive, Eivor our server was wonderful she kept us upto date with start times for the concert so were were able to enjoy a few more drinks before the concert, the food was of a excellent quality for a fast food outlet, the choice was wide as was the drinks, table were spotless and the toilets very clean, a great find in the O2

I went there today and had a vegetable soup and margarita pizza(lunch menu) and a pepsi (they don't have coca cola for some reason),both of which were okay.The food is a bit overpriced if you take into account the quality.The service was good.I was served by a beautiful girl named Diana and she was very polite and was constantly asking if there was anything i needed(though it's just for namesake in every restaurant in western europe and UK).I got a 12 pound bill for the food and i gave Diana an 8 pound tip(i am stupid and rich enough to do that and her eyes reminded me of my french ex-girlfriend).So, overall i would only recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy your meal in a quiet environment and getting served by beautiful girls.Otherwise,nothing special about it.Its a regular restaurant with the same repetitive menu.

We were staying across the water from the O2 and decided to pop across for a bit of food. We opted for this place which turned out to be a mistake. In hindsight, the fact that it was a lot quieter than the other venues should have been a clue. The service was shoddy and the food was average. We had to stand up to collect our own food from service counter as our waiter was talking to hus workmates. The chef quickly noticed what we were doing and brought it out to us. The garlic bead was cold so we sent it back. Food was basic but ok. We had a calzone and a burger. Drink choice was poor and vastly over priced. Would definitely give this place a miss.

Despite the pre-show rush, the service was quick and attentive. Our server Eivor took the time to show sensitivity and consideration for my daughter's food sensitivities and remained charming throughout. The food was very good and great value. Clearly this is a well managed establishment, despite the pressure the pre-show rush must continually place on them. Highly recommended.

Visited garfunkels at o2 with friends we really had a good time, service was quick although they were very busy. Food is a bit pricey but made up by the fast service and smiley staff. Would definitely go back again.

Very nice food, and quick. Not too badly priced, in the arena so all sheltered. service could have been better.Also the seating where we were was a bit cramped.
