Ordered a takeaway online on their website, got a confirmation email with the receipt, the money came out of my bank, after an hour and half we tried ringing both numbers which went straight to answer machine, 2 hours after ordering we drove to the premises to see what was happening as we couldn't get hold of anyone, and there's a sign saying 'closed on Tuesdays' (today is Thursday) and 'closed be back soon' So now we're starving and having to mess about with our bank to try stop the money go through. No ones contacted us to let us know they're shut or made it so customers are unable to order online

"Late, because we were busy" - so why quote a delivery time and then be nobwhere near. Overcooked, tasteless, cheap meat cut and as a result poor value Would never uae them.again.

Myself,husband, granddaughter and Great granddaughter popped in fir a meal last night and it was all lovely. We will certainly popping in again, thank you.

Not a bad experience, just a little underwhelming and tight. Decor wise, it seemed partially painted and in need of some love. Space, felt like table were wedged in where space allowed it but still enough to move around. Food, it was hot and well cooked however lacked flavour and any sort of presentation. I'd visit again because it was incredibly cheap and worth what I paid, just think it could use a bit of a jazzing up and some cobwebs in high corners clearing..

Visited Garforth spice on a bank holiday and had the Sunday special deal. It's good overall value, poppadoms and pickle tray are not included in the set price. On arrival there was a little wait while staff broke their fast which wasn't a problem. Your welcome to bring your own drink to the restaurant as they don't have a licence to serve alcohol. Had the mixed starter, which was just about enough for 2. The Murgh Masala curry was really nice and had lots of flavour. Your not made to feel rushed between courses and service is good staff are friendly. The decor in the restaurant is a bit tired and in need of some updating. Worth trying if you like Indian style cuisine.

Food took an hour to arrive, was average at best. Restaurant was not very clean. Not much vegetarian choice. Only bonus was BYOB so didnt cost a lot

Food was ok , service was good .the decor was grubby and not clean which put me off ,if the restaurant is like that then I have no hope for the kitchen...sorry guys it all needs redecorating

This place is a real hidden gem. Fantastic food, fresh and tasty with good portion sizes. Sunday and Thursday 4 course meal deal is a real bargain. The staff are friendly and attentive. Will 100% return.

Use for takeaway regularly, but after waiting over an hour tonight and then ringing them to be told at least another 15 minutes, I'm not impressed. Turn online ordering off and don't accept phone orders if you get too busy to cope with takeaway and restaurant. Others do it and people understand. Prevents disappointment.

Not very nice, won't be going back, all the meat in our order was tough even the chicken, never had a hard chewey chicken madras curry before. Plus they only accept cash only so had to go find a cash machine

Great value on Thursdays and Sundays with their set menu which still offers a wide range of options. Also is very handy if you’re on a budget as you bring your own alcoholic drinks. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to go to an Indian restaurant in Garforth

Visited here a few times staff have always been very pleasant and the food which is always a chicken madras has been well worth it, really enjoy their pickle tray and popadoms, overall a enjoyable experience

6 of us ate here last night and every single dish we ordered was delicious and well cooked. Service with a smile and no rush between starters and main. All very reasonably priced aswell. Bonus is you take your own booze. Honestly, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Thank you for a fabulous night.

This was appalling! Lamb Korma had next to no lamb in it, and when returned they did not seem at all apologetic. This dish was £9.80, but the owner still complained about how much lamb cost per kg. Also had Chicken Jalfrezi, worst I have had, it was in a creamy sauce where normally tomatoes. Specifically asked for no green peppers in the dish, but was full of them which I had to pick out, and also only a small amount of chicken in dish. On reflection they also did not deduct the 10% collection discount as stated on website and menu. All in all would recommend you avoid.

Let down, half empty but wouldn't let anyone in at 8.15 shame as love the place only time never booked

Absolutly lovely food. After 3 currys in and around Garforth and Kippax been appalling was nice to have a decent and delicious meal. Everything was spot on could not fault. They called to advise system issues so only recieved my order 45 mins after placing it online but the gentleman advised he would get it to me with 30-40 mins. He did. By far best ever curry i have had in a long time. Thank you

Visited for first time. Small little restaurant. The food was very nice and was nicely spiced unlike other Indian restaurants which burn the mouth of you. You need to bring your own beer and have to pay in cash.

No problems with Garforth Spice. Food always brilliant, customer service very good - maybe sometimes a longer wait on delivery but can't complain with the quality of food. Regular sit-in.

So disappointing that you can order from these guys, they take your payment send you conformation then over 2 hour wait call up and they tell you your order was rejected. There was no communication of this and left us starving all night. What tops it is they act as though they have done nothing wrong.

I visted Garforth spice a few times pre covid and recall enjoying. Called in last night on the off chance a table. It was the £11.95 special offer deal. Four of us had beautiful starters all served well and an assortment of main meals we could not fault ! The Chom chom chicken and chick peas so tasty. My daughter is a vegetarian lots of things and not stuck for choice. Naan breads so fresh and light. We thought the side dishes of Bombay potatoes a great touch. We had popped to the shop for a few cobras. BYO makes such a cheap evening and the staff so accomodating with glasses , bottle openers ect. Food is great , price is right , staff are lovely no complaints at all.

Came here for a family meal on Father’s Day, arrived at 6:30pm ordered about 5 minutes after. The food came at 8:30pm and was not good quality, the meals did not look nice nor did the food have flavour

We decided to book a table for our first night out in a year as we had been impressed by having a takeaway during lockdown. We had a pickle tray, 2 starters, 2 lots of rice, 2 mains and a naan. All was extremely well done and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Total cost was £34, bargain. We will be back again! Take your own drinks and its cash only so be prepared.

Usually nice food always used it but twice now they have forgotten something and like I explained to them its no good an hour after I've eaten withought chips or something. As I write this I have waited over 2.5 hrs for my delivery and have rang the restaurant 12 times and they have not answered. I have now ordered somewhere else and dont know whats going to happen to my £32 I have paid online. Disgraceful.

Prepare for a long wait if you order for delivery. Ordered at 7:18pm for 8:20pm delivery turned up at 10:00pm.

All week is spent looking forward to our Friday night takeaway which now solely consists of Garforth Spice! Wonderful food, made fresh and high quality. I don't normally like leaving bad reviews but feel I have no choice. We ordered for collection a few months ago and was told a certain time, my husband arrived on time and was then forced to wait outside in the cold for 45 minutes as it was not ready and the staff just kept saying 5 more minutes. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt tonight and ordered for a delivery. I ordered at 6.30pm on their app for delivery at 7.30pm hoping this would give them enough time to cook the order. At 7.30 no order was delivered so I waited until 7.45 and rang. I was told it was the next one out and would be 10 minutes. Still no order so I rang again to be told it was the next one out. 45 minutes later at 8.30pm it finally arrived, 2 hours after I initially ordered. Its all fine and well apologising yet again, but there was no gesture offered not even a free popadom. Why keep taking orders if you can't even honour your current orders and customers. Sadly we won't be ordering from here again.

I would say the quality of the food is second to none. However, delivery is another matter. Usually it is within the hour which is acceptable. Unfortunately, when busy they give the usual 1 hour to 1 hour 15 mins. I’ve been sat waiting for 2 hours and when i phoned up about the delay it was obvious that we had been totally forgotten. Get a grip with your regular customers would be the key

Best curry house in Garforth by a mile. Staff are great and food is superb and affordable, bring your own alcohol so ensure that you stock up from the offy before going. Been here a few times now, never had a bad meal. Mixed kebab nice along with the Balti and Shashlic Chicken. BYOB is great too as it saves a few quid :-) Well recommended

This is a gem of a place. It bring your own bottle as well so if youbare on a bit of a budget is even better value than it already is. Great food and lovely staff. Highly recommended

We have had a few takeaway meals and they have been fantastic and on time for delivery so we thought we would try the restaurant and wow! Only a small venue but very welcoming and cosy, puts some of the big local chain curry houses...

Been to many Indian restaurants around the Leeds area and this place beats them all for customer service and quality of food, You can tell when you get your food that it is all prepared fresh that day just by look let alone the taste. The waitress took time out (10mins) to answer all my questions about Asian cooking. We made our first visit tonight based on Google reviews and was not let down. The next time we dine out this place will be top of the list. Thank you for the brilliant service.

I got recommendation of Garforth Spice l got a takeaway in which l ordered and said I'll come back in ten minutes they said take your time then picked back up. I thought the food was amazing and so fresh and tasty couldn't fault anything.

This was our second time at this place and again the food was excellent. The small team of staff were very friendly and service was prompt. There is no bar at this restaurant, however staff will happily provide glasses for anyone wishing to bring their own drinks. We found the prices to be very reasonable and the menu choice quite extensive. In our opinion, this is the best venue currently serving Indian style food in the Garforth area.
