Staff really helpful and coffee really good. We went there for something light to eat and they had an amazing choice of things to have.

We came in here for coffee and cake. The coffee is really very good for a non specialist cafe and the battenburg gateaux was very good too.

almost an hours wait and only that quick because we complained. Family meal had in 2 halves - sandwich fit eldest daughter arrived after 40 minutes. Manager was late to hear complaint as she was busy dealing with a faulty piece if equipment. Lots of excuses including too many customers ordered food at the same time!!! Good when it arrived was good. Will NEVER cone back here or to Wyevale Garden Cantres ever again.

We visited after a visit to Syon House next door. Unfortunately the ordering system was exceptionally slow and they lost our order so we did not eat for over 30 minutes. The food is standard garden centre fare. Probably would not go back. Looked ok for a coffee and a cake.

Stopped for lunch before touring Syon House (see separate review). It was a pre ordered meal because I was traveling with a group. Chicken nuggets and french fries were served. I tried to order something else but the available choices didn't sit well. I spent most of lunch touring the nursery while my fellow travelers "dined".

We were going to be staying at the Hilton Syon Park for a couple of days and because we had been here before, decided to pop in here to look around before checking into the nearby Hotel. We had the valentines afternoon tea that was on offer for only £14 for two and was amazed at the amount that was included, including two pots of tea. Fantastic value for money, it was all very fresh and served by friendly staff.

Can be a safe choice after or before a nice walk in the Syon park. Gluten free, vegetarian options, salad bar, cakes, something for everyone. First time to visit, but not the last.

If you are going to visit both the house and gardens it is worthwhile to take a break in between. Food is excellent and good value for money. Pleasant surroundings.

After walking the Thames path from Syon House to Richmond and back we were in dire need of some late afternoon refreshment. Reasonable choice of sandwiches cakes and drinks and big outdoor area to sit and enjoy. This could have been any garden centre cafe anywhere though except we did think this one is a tad more expensive than others

Came here for a coffee and cake which were both very good quality and not too pricey. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside.

The garden centre is not affiliated with Syon House but, as that attraction does not have facilities, it is the de facto cafe/restaurant for the attraction. I had a decent lunch and the coffee was pretty large. The meal itself was well cooked and quickly served. The cafe was clean and bright.

We live in a London flat and on a sunny day, fancied a ride into somewhere green. After looking at the garden centre and buying a few things in the excellent gift shop, we went to this cafe for a chilled beer and a table in the sunshine. I had fish and chips and my husband had soup, both excellent. We looked at the tropical fish tanks afterwards. Incidentally, had we arrived earlier we would have had coffee and one of the excellent looking cakes on offer.

I have been coming here for many years and have never had bad food or drink and the staff are always welcoming. They do a good choice of hot and cold food and specials for Gardening Club Members. Today we had their fish finger sandwiches which consisted of 4 fingers in nice quality bread with a side salad for £6. The flat white coffee was really good for a non specialist cafe. There is plenty of seating inside and outside.

This is a self-service cafe in newish building run as part of Wyevale Garden Centre at Syon House with an outside seating area. Reasonably priced menu with generous portions. Adequate quality but nothing special. Staff always helpful.

We went to the restaurant for afternoon tea the staff were excellent. I had a problem and the manager Thomas's Pilichowski sorted it out so professionally. I was actually overwhelmed at his outstanding and unexpected way he dealt with my problem. We went on to enjoy a lovely afternoon tea and would recommend this place for a nice afternoon getaway. Also Ashisha another member of the team went the extra mile. I will not forget this experience. Well done to you all.

A very nice Garden Centre cafe. The co0ffees were excellent and it was impossible to resist the enticing range of cakes available.

This is a self service no frills place kinda reminded me of serving 'school dinners' lol. However for a quick snack whilst visiting the extensive garden and tropical fish centre, Good enough to stop for a coffee and snacks,

Located in old buildings surrounded by a great park and historical house this is a great place to chill. Take time to wander about, there is more going on. This is NOT just a garden centre. Check out the tropical fish shop! Food is excellent value. The whole presentation is slightly 'gracious' - lovely.

We were staying at Syon Hotel which is just next door and went to the Garden Kitchen Restaurant for lunch, but were disappointed to find that it is a self-service cafe with a very small menu. Not bad if you're shopping in the garden centre but not worth a detour.

My lager tasted like there was a 2 pence piece in it, so did my friends. I can only assume the barrel was almost off or the lines weren’t cleaned properly. Honestly, one of the worst tasting pints I’ve ever had.
