I have visited twice recently once for afternoon tea and once for coffee. Staff were rude and inattentive. We spent a lot of money on the afternoon tea and apart from serving the food nobody asked how it was or even said goodbye when we left. Food is ok but coffee is often not that hot. When asking for more butter a member of staff but my head off and said she was getting it! It is quite pricey for what you get and myself and family members have all had poor experiences recently. They need more staff on duty and tables need clearing quicker. I won’t be visiting again which is a shame as it’s a nice venue.

Went for the first time with friends at tea time. Nice setting and surroundings. Different areas to sit in. Food was delicious, we all had something different and all good. Will definitely go back again.

I highly recommend this Costa Coffee location. Jake and Elizabeth provided exceptional service, and the order was fulfilled promptly. I will certainly return. Thank you both.

Nice and clean coffee shop. Coffee, tea and cakes delicious. Service by young lad was good but when I paid he forgot to give me a receipt. I asked another man working behind the counter for my receipt but he was rude and bad tempered and snapped at me that I had to wait until he finished serving someone else.

I ordered the large breakfast with some extra items - nearly £10. The food arrived promptly - served on a stone cold, thick porcelean plate. By the time I had my first bite the food was colder than luke warm - cold fried egg - yuck. The bacon was very fatty and over cooked/burnt. I have had breakfasts here before and they were always served on warm plates. If I had time, I'd have sent it back - but I just left most of it..... cold fry up is not appealing. Such a waste to serve a decent amount of food that should be hot in a cold state. Weatherspoons, if you are reading this, please buy a plate warmer and use it - they are quite cheap to buy and run. I did raise the problem with the chap behind the bar - he did not seem too interested. Thats me and this branch done - I'd go back for a beer but I'm done with spoons food. Greggs is a few doors away and is better value and serves hot food.

Such an amazing warm friendly pub, Nice old british feel about the place which is rare to find nowadays with most pubs being very "modern" the staff are very friendly and will help you with anything, Karoke happens every weekend which is a great laugh, I would definitely recommend coming here, Great people, cheap beer & great laughs what more could you want 😀
