Gannet House Sports Bar in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Usually stay in the Gannet Inn, sea view upgrade for the Gannet House became available - so glad we took it. The room, views, and service were all outstanding.

Quick stop couple of pints after hair cut next door very convenient!!!😝

Great place to go if you're in the St Ives area and want to watch sports or socialise. Nice staff, good service and some funny people in there.

If you like your sport this is the place to be, good atmosphere and like-minded sport fans for company, it's a win win situation 😊.

Nice to sit outside weather permitting. Friendly locals. Not too busy. Name has changed, possibly new owners? Gannet House. Gannet Inn is a bit further down the road.

Very nice boutique style hotel, we had dinner and breakfast in their other hotel two doors down and it was excellent cuisine, the staff in the restaurant were amazing, friendly, professional and nothing to much trouble, the food was fantastic, our room was newly decorated with fantastic attention to detail, we had a tablet to use courtesy of the hotel which was a nice touch I thought

Poor service and drab room asked for sea veiw given room that you coild see the sea as long as you leaned out window buffet breakfast severed on top of pool table would not recommend

Fantastic rooms and very friendly staff. Stayed here last night with friends and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Just a shame we all had to go to the hotel next door for breakfast which was nice but the breakfast was a bit on the small size but still nice.

If you want to see the strongest, fittest and most agile Blue Disabled Badge user, then this is the place for you. Up and down ladders, carrying heavy loads and manipulating power tools one handed whilst balanced on a step ladder. Chief Maintenance Man. If he actually qualifies for a badge then the majority of the population are eligible. It's a very useful disability, whatever it is, because On Street Parking in St Ives is at a premium. Perhaps one day he will really need one like my wheelchair bound friend. Bloody Disgrace!

Lovely hotel and the family suite was massive. Bit annoying you have to go next door to the sister hotel (Gannet Inn) for breakfast but the breakfast was well made. They also have a pool and sauna down the road from the hotel.

Really nice room...bathroom is massive!!! Toilet malfunctioned but that is the only flaw in our stay. The bed is huge...and really comfortable. Everything is very very clean. Fabulous place. Would recommend to friends.

This is a very good hotel with wonderful staff who cannot do enough to make you feel comfortable. We had full use of the Carbis Bay Spa, a fantastic breakfast and a huge bed. Great food and newly refurbished rooms. Highly recommended.

Both myself and my work colleague had the fortune to spend last night at the Atlantic in Carbis Bay whilst working in the area. I cannot speak more highly of our short stay, we were fortune enough to get a large double room each with amazing panoramic sea views, the rooms themselves looked very recently refurbished to the highest standards. A real Wow factor, the comfiest mattress I've ever slept on hands down, beautiful ensuite bathroom and both traditional, yet touches of modern tasteful design running throughout. The staff were incredibly welcoming and genuinely very friendly and helpful. Great food too, the icing on the cake.

Very clicky, did not feel welcome, obviously a locals establishment which is a shame, it took a guy at the bar to alert the barman we were waiting to be served

I stayed at The Atlantaic for 2 nights but was injured in an accident. The Atlantic brought me food to take to the airport for a quick flight home for medical care. The food was superb, the service was exceptional and the hotel was clean and generally felt like home. I can't say enough about Justin, the manager who was there when I arrived. The other manager, a tall, thin, balding man, I didn't get his name, was so helpful to get me a taxi to the airport so I could get home for medical care. Since arriving home, I've found I was more seriously injured than I thought, so The Atlantic helped me to allay any serious repercussions from the injuries. God bless the Atlantic Hotel, St. Ives!

Food it's very delicious and every one must taste Cornish food ,rooms everyday it's cleaning ,whether it's normal for Cornwall location,staff it's very welcome for everyone,tv and wifi in everyone rooms,5/5 for hotel and restaurant.

Not bad although there was no food available as it was busy due to the football

Fantastic gym and facilities. Went to the spa recently and thought it was very reasonably priced, unfortunately the pool was closed.

Excellent night. Expecially one staff member called kat who seemed to be running the place with great customer service

We are locals hadn't been in since new owners ,thought give it a try,3 people there beside us,but it is early Dec.Sat down to have a quiet drink,but 2 dogs in the bar made this impossible.Very dissapointed ,we just come back from a weekend in Newquay,just feel sorry for people staying here.Before you think we are not old fogies who do not move with the times.But come on new owners this is not attracting customers.

Wasn't the best experience I've ever had. The room had a certain musty smell and the bed side cabinets were hanging off the walls. The shower door was hanging by a thread and the windows were filthy. I'd advise anyone to avoid this place unless they don't care about their accommodation.

We were in the suite nice and spacious comfortable. Great views. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly attentive. It was a bit noisy till late. not good sound proofing the people above were up late and out early and heavy footed. Be aware access to the suite is a steep narrow stairway. Not a problem for us. But not expected.

Fijne sfeer en vriendelijk personeel. Kamer was netjes, alleen heel gehorig en geschreeuw van meeuwen de hele nacht. Ontbijt goed verzorgd. Alleen jammer dat we buiten gingen zitten en daar de tafels niet schoon waren en de asbakken met peuken nog op tafel stonden.

Great hotel, no frills but clean and tidy with friendly staff. A great base for exploring St Ives, which is a short bus or taxi ride away, or the surrounding area. Free parking, breakfast included and a nice evening meal menu.

Great stay. The breakfast was good, comfy beds, nice shower and room serviced everyday. Only problem I had is the walls are paper thin and I could hear the bloated pig in the next room snoring his head off which would wake me up and keep me awake...

I'm staying here now it's my first night and the bar is rather loud I'd of throught at this time they would start to let the people in the rooms relax and get some peace and at least turn the music down!! Apart from that the place is nice and the food is good.

What a great short break we had at the hotel at the end of October. The staff were fab and the new owners made us feel very welcome. We hadnt expected the food to be as good as it was and in fact we wished we'd just eaten there more often. Definitely highly recommend the hotel to family and friends

First night in the B&B and I was very happy! Bought the family a meal in the restaurant and very impressed with the quality and the price! Brilliant bar staff. Well recommended.
