I RECENTLY ORDERED FROM GANGNAM KOREAN CHINESE DELIVERY TO MY HOUSE I MUST ADMIT I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL MEAL WAS GOOD ONLY 2 DOWN FALL WAS THE CHIPS WERE A BIT TOO CRUNCHY FOR MY LIKING AND SWEET SOUR SAUCE WAS RUINED BY ALL VEGGIES IN HARDLY SNY SAUCE. about to eat my Chinese hope it was worth it if not I'll be back to change my review

Went there with a friend for dinner last week and very much enjoyed it. The food was excellent! It was freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. The service was also excellent - very friendly and helpful and attentive. The interior could do with a wee bit of a refresh which is why I only gave three stars for the atmosphere but I would highly recommend the Gangnam.

Absolutely disgusting food, chicken curry, ( curry tasted nice to be fair) chicken hard rubbery consistency, salted chilli chicken balls again chicken hard inside, ribs boneless( not ribs but hard leathery disgusting, chips soggy, sorry guys but this food isn’t good enough for human consumption, really angry as was looking forward to a nice Chinese takeaway

The food was GREAT, cooked to order, but tou can eat all you want. I would recommend it, in fact I have recommend to many freinds and family. That's what reminded me to post my review. I will be back soon.

Good quality buffet not had any of the Korean bbq stuff but big fan of the all you can eat plates, definitely worth going too

This is our new fav place. The food is delicious, the prices are amazing and a the table BBQ thing is suuuuper :D recommend for eeeveryone

Highly not recommend , food is bad and overpriced. There is only one table of customer in the whole restaurant yet the service is slow. Although labelled as all you can eat , but they told us that the meat is finished after 3 rounds of refill.

Chips were hard and not hot like they had been lieing for hours, and the cHicken was non edible.waste of my £17 won't be orderimng fro!m here again.

Amazing food and customer service, I highly recommend Mongolian beef and the portions were big. Me and two friends ordered a few different things and we were all satisfied.

Ordered the Tofu in Black Bean Sauce and Egg Fried rice, the food was absolutely vile. Everything tasted burnt and horrible. Could have cooked a much better meal myself.

Love how in Deliveroo the reviews seem to be 5 star which is definitely false ! Never had such bad food from any Asian place as you get here . Overpriced and wrongly cooked and just the worst . The only nice thing they do is give you fortune cookies . Sorry but never again

Food was never delivered and I had to drive there myself to collect.

prices for the soups was far too high when the chicken sweetcorn soup was too sweet, and there was barely any chicken noodle soup inside the container. was delivered over and hour late.

Ok food, main cooked ok but not particularly authentic. Curry samosas weren’t very nice, just fried pastry essentially. Really oily & no tangible flavour. Had worse, but also had a lot better.

Fantastic restaurant! Food is incredible... leaning on the authentic scale as opposed to "British versions"! The staff are beyond wonderful and so accommodating. The takeaway food is just as good as in restaurant, but if you want to sit inside it's a lovely, sleek venue. The quality of dishes is the main star, and although I was initially put off by the signage (it looks like a chain) it's actually wonderful dishes made by a family restaurant! I now recommend to everyone 😊🫶

Ordered chicken and black bean and lemon chicken. How do you make chicken tasteless and stringy and so crisp it’s unchewable. On a positive note the fried rice was good

Absolutely no atmosphere. No music, extremely bright white lighting. Food was tasteless. We literally got served pork that had gone bad and still had to pay the full price which is NOT worth it at all. £23.80 pp for boring tasteless meat, that had gone bad is way too much. I wish I had read the more recent reviews…

Es un sitio que nos sorprendió bastante, estaba delante de nuestro alojamiento y decidimos entrar para cenar algo y nos sorprendió gratamente. Escogimos la opción de buffet y pedimos bastantes cosas y estaba todo buenísimo. El lugar es tranquilo y la mujer que nos atendió fue muy amable y atenta. Si volvemos a Edimburgo nos pasaremos por allí otra vez! :)

Overpriced, food was expensive and tasteless. Asked for a can of soft drink, £2.95, drink was warm, and no ice available. Won't be returning.

Me and my partner went for lunch recently and really enjoyed it. We both ordered the all you can eat Chinese set. + Food was well presented and very tasty. + Service was quick. + I quite enjoyed the ambiance – it was very authentic. + Really pretty teapot! - Decor could be updated to be a bit brighter and modern. Overall we enjoyed out food and would go again.

One word to describe it is awful. Me and my partner regularly ordered from here and never had issues before with the cooking but our previous (and last!!!!) visit involved raw chicken to the point it may as well have been sat with us still!! Disgusting food and severely dissapointed with this place as it usually did well but It’s a waste of time and money!!!

Ordered by deliveroo but then I've realised it's been done for my home instead work. So I called deliveroo to cancel or change the address. The call was made not even 1 minute after the mistake with address. Been told to hold as they will try the restaurant. The she said she can't get in touch with them so I called. They said they can't send it to my work as they need the code what deliveroo provided for drives and its better to try again. Called 3 times both sides nobody was kind enough to help. Restaurant owner said to me she need the code for the order so she will get paid. So I said cancel the order on your side or speak to deliveroo ppl. So then 6 hours later I came back home just to find out my food was left outside the building on the ground where ppl goes in and out for 6 hours!! Who gave the code as I've been told its important I have no idea bcz I wasn't home. Absolutely disgusting food all over the place and when I called she said sorry. Sorry is not enough u clearly had no problem to sent the food out just to get paid and code the restaurant privided to the driver without my knowledge so the cheated to get paid. £20 for food which normally cost £10. So definitely wont be ordering again from here or thru deliveroo. ⛔⛔⛔⛔🚫🚫🚫😡😡😡

Very good, fresh, tasty and hot. Everything was made fresh, with a good mix of dishes to choose from for a very good price.

Love the food, they cook the food you want instead of being left out for you to pick. It’s more fresh and hot/warm and the best Chinese/Korean food I’ve ever had. The people are really nice and friendly too.

Decent Korean BBQ. The owners are Chinese so it was lovely to speak with them. Seems a very hard working family run restaurant and definitely recommend for Korean BBQ. The dumplings were great too!

One of the best chinese/korean cuisine i eat in Edinburgh ; sur the best buffet for price /quality; everything its cook here and good.

They should have more spices in their foood. The food was quite horrifying and inedible, the sauces tasted like they had been lying in the kitchen for ages. The fried rice was fried with nothing. When we asked for cutlery, they threw in one dangly plastic fork which cannot even be used to consume the kind of food we are supposed to eat. Though, they did give us fortune cookies, we cannot tell about those as we are still eating.

Service is not bad but the food has to be improved!!!!!! Not much choice on the menu, Food are Dry and salty! Also, hygiene is very bad too…

We visited for my husbands birthday and wow so glad we found this place the food was made fresh and was so lovely and tasty we are definitely going back in November excellent food, excellent service thank you 😊

Very misleading name as the so-called buffet food (very limited menu!) is mainly Chinese, only about 4 Korean dishes. No kimchi, no pancakes, no Korean side dishes, no dessert...If you're vegetarian your options are rice, noodles, spring rolls, and tofu. Ah, and pineapple mixed with apples. Only giving them 3 stars because even so at least it was fresh and tasty enough but for £18 better go to Cosmo or something.

FAKE PHOTOS ON GOOGLE. Their photos have been taken from the Gen Korean BBQ website - a restaurant in LA. Average. Don't be fooled by the photos you see on Google. This isn't the food they actually serve. The food was good. Well some of it. The Korean sweet chilli chicken was very nice but other dishes such as the beef was not nice. Beef seemed too soft

Deceitful pics from the owner of the restaurant, trust me nothing else will like the pics they uploaded. Korean restaurant, but they don’t even have kimchi. We asked the kimchi but they said it’s not free. Szechuan tofu from the buffet menu is SWEET! I think they have the misunderstanding of the Szechuan foods. Fried noddles is so so, dry and dark. Only thing good was sweet Korean chicken.

Spicy chicken was undercooked and its texture was too horrible to eat. Same with sweet and sour chicken.

We were really excited to try this restaurant but unfortunately were disappointed. The spring rolls tasted microwaved, the black bean chicken was inedible (not sure it was cooked properly or if was even chicken). The chow mein and fried rice were very average. The only dishes we enjoyed were the Korean sweet chilli chicken and chicken and sweet corn soup but the black bean chicken really brings our review down.

The food was great and cooked freshly to order. The staff were lovely and really helpful! Would fully recommend and can't wait to come back!

Just been here after lockdown and customer service here is amazing! Due to restrictions, the food is not on display but it is still all you can eat. You just pick from a menu with pictures as often as you want which was rather enjoyable. Food was delicious! Personal favourite was the korean sweet chilli chicken. Would definitely return thanks to how welcoming and accommodating staff were here. When they realised our favourite dish they would out of courtesy bring it with varying ingredients/flavours which was fun!!

Myself and my partner visited this restaurant today, and it was lovely!! The food was toasty and delicious and had flavour, it was big portions for the price to pay; for all you can eat!! The person who served us (I didn't catch his name) was absolutely lovely and very attentive!!! I don't eat chicken curry, so I asked if I could have beef (even though it wasn't on the menu) and it was no issue!!! We had a lovely experience at this new restaurant, and encourage others to try it too!! ☺😊

Recently ordered a Roast Duck and Char Siu pork and I can successfully say that this is the best place to order from in Edinburgh. The man on the phone was extremely helpful and patient when I was deciding and the food was immaculate and just made the whole experience worth it.

Ordered from this restaurant the other day, and bought the roast duck, it was absolutely amazing, nice and juicy, cooked to perfection!! Definitely will be back!
