I came in for a chicken parmesan bun which is sold in all branches of Gail's as far as I am aware. It is fabulous, the chicken is really juicy and it is extremely tasty. The bun is slightly sweet and delicious too. The combination is just about perfect.

Sometimes I like to choose individual cafes as a change from the usual chains. In this case it was a mistake which I won’t repeat. Early morning, not busy and all I wanted was a coffee. There were Two women making coffee who seemed completely clueless. Took them 10 minutes to produce a Flat white . This is ridiculous- there was no queue just bad, slow service. Coffee was ok but nothing special. From now on I shall return to the well known chain across the road. It’s a shame that the management at Gail’s do nothing to improve this place. Not the first time I’ve tried it but it will be the last .

Amazing coffee shop / Bakery on the Main Street, I have had breakfast many times here and the taste is really good, amazing coffee’s, great friendly Team members, the only challenge can be to get table as the space tables are less.

Visited here last Saturday morning on the way to a job in Ealing Broadway. I was after coffee and some breakfast and everywhere else appeared to be closed. Gails was a delight, nice coffee and a lot of bakery items to choose from. I wanted something cooked and being a vegetarian, the choice was limited. However their 'Two Soft-Baked Eggs with Buttered Sourdough Soldiers was not a disappointment. An unusual dish served in a skillet, rather than the 'Eggs in Eggcups' that I thought it was going to be. The staff are all nice and the seating is roomy and pleasant.

Food is generally nice and staff generally helpful, but, i had possibly the worst sausage roll i’ve ever had from there today, a couple of bites and i binned it… dry and bland as anything, awful. They have issues with flies on the food also, i go maybe twice a month and just walk out if there are flies on the food. More care is needed.

I always pop into Gail’s for my morning flat white with oat milk and occasionally treat myself to the most amazing almond pain au chocolate, it’s simply delicious. The manager there is always super friendly and kind and goes out of her way to help and the baker is always friendly. They are a great team and you must try the pain au chocolate with almonds you will be addicted.

Great coffee!! But tables and the floor areas are always dirty. Every time I visit I have to clean the table I want to occupy. I’m use to the Gail’s in Chiswick which is spotless. There are plenty of staff on shift so surely they can see tables need to be cleared on a regular basis.

My husband and i had breakfast in Gails's Ealing on Monday 13 september, we both had coffee which was very good, however the baked eggs and soutdough toast is another story. the baked eggs were well overcooked the yolks were solid and i could not eat them the sourdough was cut into soldiers and also very hard. for this we paid £21.60. I have eaten in this restaurant before the lockdown and always found it to be good and reasonably priced. I will be avoiding it from now on unless I just want coffee.

I had to take my business elsewhere from here on Saturday morning, while the bakery was clearly not at capacity, I was viewing items to buy, ( Masked up) to be told by the arrogant sounding American behind the counter to wait outside, and then to have 4 people come ( just broose past) pick up stuff and get served. Nothing said to them??? Why don't you have consistent covid policies, why don't you have a sign stating how many allowed in? I will make sure the Armenian community of Ealing, boycot Gails. Sorry, you need professionals working there, not Teenagers.

I had coffee there yesterday and was shocked by the lack of social distancing. The tables are jammed together. If there is a foot distance between them I’d be surprised. At least the staff are now wearing masks. Pret, Costa, Artesan and Starbucks are all nearby and have properly spaced tables. Avoid.

This is very good as far as the food is concerned. The quality is great, love the scones especially, but also the soup, and the breakfast menu. The kitchen is where the source of success is. It is super clean, they know their stuff and work with a smile on their face. The chef, Daniel, is very good, very hygienic and delivers great quality food every time. The downsides are the seating and cleaning of the tables, this needs to speed up and the toilets need to be cleaned more regularly. It still is a top place and I will buy both to takeaway and to eat in great to catch up for a conversation with friends too

there is no morning where mini rolls, usually a winner at any of the Gails I have been to, are on display or available. I usually buy few and then take 10-20 to a meeting. Here, at Ealing, they, with any luck, have to be made - which takes some time. Why is this branch so much poorer served than the others ??

I have been to this coffee houswice recently. With my daughter on a weekend and then today Monday.Weekend visit was good, deserts excellent and staff very efficient.Today however, my quiche was not properly warmed up and was still cold in the middle. And service was painfully slow. Painful because I had to watch the staff flirting with each other, rather than get my order completed. Not sure where the shift supervisor was, but the staff needs some better guidance.

This place used to be good, but since most of Ealing’s population floods in here at weekends the standards have dropped big time. I ordered the blueberry and coconut yogurt but the portion was tiny and barely filled me up. Coffee is average and nothing to write home about. Customer service is rushed and you feel like a number rather than a person. For £7.50 I could have got far more for my money elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend.

This is a lovely place but I'm often disappointed by the food. I recently had breakfast there. It was pretty quick, I had waited a long time the last time I ate here. This latest breakfast was tepid, served on a cold plate. The toast was not toasted enough and was dry. The Scrambled egg was overcooked and dry. And only just warm. I really want to like the food here but it never meets the expectations raised by the lovely premises.

Visited this bakery for the 1st time and got a waste loaf of sour dough bread. It's the best bread I've had in ages. Love the randomness of it. Ate 4 slices as soon as I got in. I would be greatful for a GAIL's bakery in Southampton. The bread is delicious and at a good price too.

Unfortunately, the bread doesn't compare to the local bakeries... I bought it about 12:30pm, had three slices and it already didn't taste the freshest, but was ok. I stored it in a plastic storage bag but it was almost uneatable the next day. Was such a shame and a waste of money. Oat chai latte is very good though. A nice pick me up.

Gail’s is a well known place , and has opened a branch in the newly constructed Dickens yard, in Ealing Broadway. Corner shop, having many clients either sitting for a cup of coffee or having something to eat or people who just take out the freshly baked products. Due to the weather conditions , it was rather cold, people stayed indoors and all tables were reserved. We found a table in a non prime space and we ordered our cappuccino, which by the way was really nice, but I found out that prices still remain high. They also provide you something like a member card , by which , every ten products you buy, you get one for free.

We went here a number of times. Our initial order was a little messed up but the staff and manager went out of their way to make everything right. We went there a number of times after that - the staff were so nice and the ambiance in the place lovely we were trated like family. On one Saturday were were seated near the kitchen and observed the chef in the kitchen - I have never seen such a hard working and impressively organised chef, the volume of work he produced was phenomenal. When we left we had to complement him and his manager on his work output.

A cafe that doesn’t allow dogs even though they have the space?’ Why? No reason. We are a green borough with parks, that the dickens yard development boasts but the outlets opening in the yard are refusing park users entry. Parks = dogs! All the cafes in Pitshanger W5 allow dogs, they are welcoming and accepting but walk 15 minutes into Dickens Yard W5 and its a different story! No.17 is the only place that allows dogs and we went there instead. My Yorkie was adopted by a table of lovely ladies having dinner and I ended up speaking with some young mummy’s with their dog. And I even helped another little boy who was a little worried to stroke my dog to overcome his fears. We are a friendly borough and we do not have aggressive dogs. Gail’s need to wake up and smell their own coffee. Artisan cafe also allow dogs and are a lot more friendly than Gail’s cold atmosphere!

I asked if they had any type of a cheese pastry. The answer was simply "no". No further recommendations were made. I the decided to just order drinks, one filter coffee and one flat white. Without asking it was assumed I would drink my coffee onsite rather than takeaway. When my order was ready I go a filter coffee and a Americano. I explained that I ordered a flat white instead. No problem, I change it for you and then was given a very small Flat White rather than the regular size. ( They don’t even sell this as small on the menu).

This bakery is a good addition to the new Dickens Yard development where a tad of complacency was beginning to creep in around some of the early arrivals. The bread is wonderful and breakfast is on offer early - from 07:30 and then you can go again for afternoon tea. Coffee is ok and there is a wide selection of teas. The fridge unit is full of salads and there are sandwiches, quiche and brioche for lunch- pretty comprehensive, high quality and reasonable value for money.

He said their policy state serve take away orders first Hahaha :-) maybe u should employ more people so the place will be clean and client serve in reasonable time! We decided leave the place and never back again Its a lot of nice coffee shops around dont waste your time . Mess , rude staff and atmosphere like fast food bar!
