Gem of a bar, great atmosphere will definitely visit again

Amazing food with great atmosphere!

Very well stocked Portuguese bar with very friendly staff

High prices and extreme loud music

Went in early evening to be given a different menu from the locals. Then told can’t sit somewhere even though not instructed as we told staff we were going to eat. And also not from the member of staff working it was from somebody sitting at one of the above mentioned reserved tables mid meal. Then felt uncomfortable and finished drinks and left. I’m from the local area so to be made to feel like this is total unacceptable in my opinion. And this doesn’t even mention that the menu given had 5 items to choose from even though we sat in direct view of a specials board. Didn’t eat so can’t judge the quality of the food but the whole experience was horrible

Great Portuguese Bar & Restaurant. Family environment and the food are amazing, far from home, but feel like home to me. Recommended

Atmosphere Sunday 12.45 out of around 10 tables about three or four in use. Service Service was ok. Staff are nice, speak Portuguese. Toilets Toilets available. Ladies and Men's are separate. Men's have a urinal and a separate cubicle with toilet seat, toilet paper, but no flusher by the toilet You have to lift up the cistern lid to push a flusher

Local Portugues with the authenticity and warmth of a typical bar serving drinks and food in Portugal. Welcoming and good value.

Went here for an afternoons lunch. They serve Portuguese dishes. My Portuguese friend ordered and must say, the food was very nice, with generous portions, and served by a very capable young lady. Enjoyed the meal and was very well priced and excellent value. Would recommend.

The hot chocolate and sandwick mizto were very good. They sell ham rufles and balls!!

Always trouble at this place. Rows and fights with customers spilling out into the streets for their fights. Also, you need to respect Watford residents and control your customers like the other bars in the area do.

Good shisha service, indoor smoking is a little to small but the one on the street is warm and nice

The environment is horrible with neon light shining and a smoking room attached to the main building, separated by nothing. The drinks are way too expensive, and we ordered a takeout reeses peices milkshake, and by the time we came to drink it, we realised the woman behind the bar forgot to take the wrapper off of the reeses cups, before blending them. It was a £4 paper shake.Very disappointed and I do not recommend

I am on the road a lot and tend to buy on-the-go food. This for me was the worst Chicken Shawarma ever. £4.50 for a chicken Shawarma is an absolute RIP OFF! If it was not for the garlic sauce there would be no taste Also, there is no toaster for the overall sandwich. Personally, Taboush on market street tastes better and cheaper The online menu stipulates chips come with all their shawarma and not to my surprise they wanted to charge me £2.50 for some frozen chips lol My philosophy is if they cant get a bog standard shawarma right then they aint getting nothing right. This place will not last long! £3.50 for a chicken Shawarma on Market Street and that comes with a drink or chips!

such a chilled vibe with the most amazing customer service. just the small things from giving you control of the music speakers to letting you charge your phone. the vibe is great such a chilled night will definitely be returning to gabriels without a doubt.

Like the service but whole location is by the road. When I sat outside I felt like on the bus stop waiting for lift. I could feel everybody looking at me. There is not much privacy and feels a bit wrong arranged with space.

Tengo que decir que yo estaba muy emocionado por este lugar para abrir, pero un poco decepcionado cuando me pude probar. Tuve la pollo shawarma hummus para comenzar y luego un pollo y cordero Shawarma mixto con arroz. Tamaño era bueno. Y fue con sabor agradable, pero era simplemente para secar. . espero que la próxima vez será jugosa y esponjosa.

The most horrendous food I have ever had. The chicken was undercooked and bright pink. The batata harra was also not cooked and it wasn't even potatoes, it was hash browns!! The food took 1 hour and 10 mins despite deliveroo saying 50 mins. Safe to say we'll never order from here again.

very friendly pre football visit met my friends here before Watford v Man City staff were brilliant and even put the Hearts game on the TV for me lol we didnt eat but pals said food was excellent will visit again

Un fantástico lugar. Pequeño paseo por nuestro centro de la ciudad poco vale la pena. La comida era increíble lo que tuvimos todo el menú porque todo sonaba genial y algunas bebidas. Mucho mejor que traboush realmente tienes suficiente espacio para moverse y melodías de banca

Great bar, lovely staff , wanted an espresso martini unfortunately not on the cocktail menu but they made me one anyway, couldn't do enough for us. Totally recommended!!

We ordered from deliveroo. It was late, cold, small portions and lacking 1/3 of the order. They wouldn't answer the phone so deliveroo had to refund me​ and i went hungry. 100% disappointed and would recommend everyone avoid in favour of literally anywhere else!

Really happy with the service. Quick and great prices. Attention was brilliant and got NHS discount too. Tasty food and not greasy. Will be frequently visiting this place! So close to the hospital too!!

I use this on matchdays now. Friendly owner, efficient bar staff, good food and live football.What more could you want?
