i dont leave a review in general but i must say it is really impressive now. been regular for years but recent renovation is spot on and they serve bubble tea now too, i tried it and it is perfect with a generous portion of loaded fries. I would definitely recommend it everyone looking for decent halal food in city centre.

Delicious and very reasonably priced, I’ve walked past this place a 100 times and so glad I finally walked in. Very friendly staff, food cooked to order, served on chinaware with cutlery. Can’t fault it.

Walked past on the way to a gig as we have done many times, so we decided to give it a try as it had a good range of stuff to order on the board outside and we were hungry and my buddy fancied the build your own noodle box . So I had the chicken combo which consisted of 2 large wings and 2 largish strips with fries and a chilli mayo sauce (I did t have the salad ) , first thing I was surprised the sauce actually came over the chicken and not in one of those tubs you usually get , the chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce was seriously good with just the correct amount of bite , the fries were pretty much your standard takeaway fry but having said that they were better than the fries from KFC or McDonald's in both taste and texture so a win there . My buddy had a build your own noodle box and it looked really good (I'll be having one next time) and he said it was really really good and he's a bit fussy. The cost was £8:00 for my chicken combo and I think it was a out the same for my mates so very well priced for city center . The seating was also great didn't feel squashed in like some places are and had plenty of room to stretch my legs , there was music playing but wasn't loud in fact hardly noticed it The lady that served (sat 15th Feb 2025) was an absolute star and explained how to order the build your own box with a smile on her face , I mean she must have to repeat this a lot but she was happy and cheerful and made us feel very welcome . So all in all for us 10/10 experience and this is our now to go place for pre gig food and there is lots of great looking stuff on the menu . Portions have got a lot smaller

The two brothers who run the place (Hammad and Fahad) are great! Not only do welcome you with smiles everytime you visit, their food is also great! And you won't get this sort of food at the prices they have in most places. It's been 3 years we have known this place and we keep going back!

Absolutely delicious. Like Chopstix but so much better. Plenty of rice & noodle options, and plenty of topping options. Generous portion sizes and not stingy about the amount of meat you get too. Food is made to order but worth the longer wait. I left feeling very satisfied, well fed and full! Great value, will definitely be back on my next visit to Glasgow!!

Was craving for Fried Rice and the one at Fwokx really hits the spot! The Fried Rice was made to order and served to us piping hot. They were also pretty generous with their meat portions.

Coming from the capital of burgers Manchester i was glad to meet their haloumi beef burger in my first day in Glasgow. It was so good that we had a second date exactly the next day ;)

Popped in for a quick takeaway on a Saturday night. Two noodle boxes and two drinks for a good price, big portions and really good service. Food was cooked fresh in the wok, no complaints from me. Recommend.

This place is seriously slept on. First had it back in 2021. Myself and my wife were browsing Uber Eats and always used to joke about the name of the place and how it was pronounced. Figured we would try it some time for a bit of a laugh, not expecting an awful lot but holy hell it was a life-changing experience. Arguably the best egg fried rice I've ever tasted, the chilli garlic loaded fries are unmatched and I've never had even the slightest dip in quality when eating at this place. I was working away in the UK for two years and I always would be excited to come back up to sit in and have a meal. The owners are incredibly polite and friendly. It's such a shame that there isn't a queue out the door because it's an incredibly underrated food joint. The waiting time for the food can be on the medium-long time for fast food but still nothing crazy, especially when you can see everything is made to order using fresh ingredients. Hard to fault and hard to beat for the food it serves.

Food out of the world, took me back to desi street food vibes. I wish this was available in Newcastle.

Very very pleasently surprised by this shop. Noodles were very juicy and filling. Kids enjoyed their katsu noodles and the mrs her, chiken fried rice. Went down a treat. Slow, but worth the wait

Humble, cheap eats, nice noodles and chips

so i ate here with some friends, the food was very delicious but you have to wait some time to be served. The staff was friendly but i think they are to few to manage everything. So yes i recommend the wok with chicken and the souces that comes with it( you can make your own bowl of food).

Hands down! Never expect to get the taste of my native land kolkata. Delicious wok boxes with udon noodles , chicken katsu and oyester sauce. Touch of South Asian Chinese . Any Indian will love to have it. Gem in glasgow. I tried many in glasgow now this is the bang on destination Well done guys!

One of the worst experiences I have had with food, my son and daughter were sick for a week after noodles from fwokz. Either the food was off or unedible…. This institution also had pro Israeli stickers outside saying ‘I love Israel’ outside the place

This place is absolutely disgusting i had ordered peri peri loaded fries but it came with a long black hair in it and the service was horrible when i wanted the refund the guy was really rude. This place should be avoided at all costs🤮🤢🤢

A quiet place to rest from the stress of the city, it would improve the cutlery and plating.

Ordered a grilled chicken burger with some extra salad and some fries. Was pretty tasty. Would recommend, close to the station.

Ordered a custom bowl consisting of udon, prawns, schezwan sauce and sesame seeds ontop. Udon tasted good, prawns were a little small, but were cooked nicely, for the average Scottish person, the schezwan sauce might be a little too spicy, but for the average spice enjoyer, the schezwan sauce is a nice moderate spiciness, enough to feel it but not anything too extreme. Only complaint really is the £7.44 price for the whole thing, although, each aspect of the bowl is priced differently depending on what ingredients you get (for example, the prawn options is £1.95, one of the most expensive options compared to getting something like veggies for £1), however, no matter what noodle or rice base you get, it automatically comes with egg and some veggies (mostly onion, good amount of onions in the bowl for all the onion enjoyers) Even though the place looks a little run down on the inside and with limited seating, the tables are always wiped down after each customer, and the environment inside is nice, quiet and calm, even when most of the seating is occupied, and the people running the place are very nice and hospitable (Photos edited to only remove any customers in the restaurant for privacy)

Amazing food and very affordable

Didn’t like the service. I asked them for a wok without egg and I still had egg, they said it comes with vegetables mix there was none. The food was just not nice. The space was very cold.

My wife and I were out for a walk around the Christmas markets and we fancied noodles on our way back to hotel. Couldn't find anywhere around that part of Glasgow city centre but my wife couldn't be bothered walking anymore to find somewhere we stumbled into Fwoks. I wasn't really wanting anything when I seen the inside of the place. It was very dirty looking and not sure what nationality the two employees were but they weren't Oriental as I thought a noodle place would be. It wasn't the workers fault as they looked harassed as a few people came in all at the same time. The longer I sat there the more disgusting the place was. Took around half an hour to get out food. It did taste alright but I wasn't sure whether to eat it as I thought I might end up with a dickie tummy. Thankfully I didn't but I definitely wouldn't go back due to the lack of cleanliness.

This is an underrated restaurant in the centre of Glasgow. Reasonable prices. Food will be prepared upon order, so you might wait a wee bit. It also gives you the freedom to make your own wok box. My fave will be the udon and katsu chicken wirh peanut sauce. They also have decent toilet inside

OMG! I’m so pleased I discovered this little gem as I’ve been trying to find good halal fast food when I’m in glasgow, after coming across this restaurant and it’s reviews I can honestly say hand on heart I’ll always be coming here to eat anytime I’m around central station in glasgow. The food is absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection, the flavours are out of this world! Honestly I advise anyone to try and see for yourself! You won’t regret it!

Place is great, affordable and filling!!

I had the udon noodles, chicken breast and thai nut sauce. Delicious. Wife had the rice noodles, chicken breast and soy/oyster sauce. She loved it. The portion size, for the price, is a bit conservative.

I really liked my portion of rice 🍚 it was very tasty, everything was perfect 🤩 However, I would recommend adding some decor to your interior design, focus on the tables too, please ;) Because it feels like a lack of own unique idea, the “spice”💡Which is not fare, the taste of your food is so good, definitely recommend😎

Since it is fresh to cook, it will need time before food ready. My recommendation is noodle with sizhuan (sechuan?) sauce.

I got a katsu burger meal. I had never been here before even though I pass regularly. The fries were nice, but the burger was the best burger I have ever had in my life. It was as if the burger was made for me. I talked about it for the next 2 days.

Literally one of my favourite places ever, always order from here, there wok noodle boxes are just amazing and so much to choose from! Feels too good to be in Glasgow if I’m very honest, the staff are always so friendly, my go to place whenever I’m in city centre XD

Ordered the wok box and could taste something off. Had a few bites and started feeling sick. The night was awful, really bad stomachache, being sick and well just what you get with an upset stomach. Contacted Just Eat as I ordered through them about the issue and whether a refund was possible, they said it was a food hygiene matter so I should report it. Did that, they got back saying there were problems at the premises and they would be reviewed regularly. They couldn't advise me on the refund. So, I contacted fwokx and I was told that as I ordered through just eat I should ask them and that they knew I called the council guys on them. Overall extremely disappointed, was unwell and got nowhere about the refund. Would not recommend

Don’t usually write reviews but i always get noodles from here when i’m in town, and it is always 10/10. And the staff are also so friendly. This place is a lil gem. Recommend !!

I had it as a takeaway and i pulled out what looked like a small box to which i thought "hang on ive been ripped off here..." however, given that i hadn't eaten all day i still couldnt finish that little bix of noodles. It was amazingly filling, fresh tasting, and it was customisable to my liking (got to choose 3 options!). id highly recommend, especially for take away

I love it! Service were great, staff were nice. Foods came in hot, fresh and packed with flavour. Price also fair and excellent looking at their portions. If I want something fast and delicious, fwokx is my go to place.

Absolutely cannot fault this place, amazing food and friendly staff, been in here a few times and every time it’s class. You do have to wait for the food but it’s cooked fresh and tastes amazing, cannot recommend this place more.

The food is incredibly fresh , you can even watch it get cooked infront of you. The service was great , cooked quickly nice staff who confirm your order. the portion size is very fair but i think they should offer a small selection of veg which you can have added for free. Finally the doors were blocked open leading to the restaurant being quite cold whilst I wait.

Make your own noodle box is awesome szechuan fury sauce is highly recommended, get extra chilli added for proper kick

To say that I LOVE this place is not enough. I think you can get something for every taste. When I want super loaded food, I get it. When I want a healthy chicken breast with salad, I get it. The owners are very sweet. if you, like me ADORE very spicy hot food, then this is the place! Although you can get more lightly spiced or not spicy versions of the same dish, too.

Right from the burgers, the wok and the salt and chilly crips, this place is my new favorite to rush to. The best burgers I've had in town! The chef is so kind and accommodative on the customization and it's something I personally admire about it. I don't see many places providing this facility. I have brought many of my friends to try in here and even the fussiest of the lot has loved the place and food. You get a ⭐ Everything in this place is amazing. We go in there at every possible instance. The burgers the salads the wok.. you guys are amazing!

Go here daily when working in the city centre. Never been disappointed. Doesn’t look much from the outside but definitely worth a visit.

I have been here for multiple times and the food i had never disappointed me. Delicious egg noodles with coconut curry sauce & grilled lamb ribs are recommended.

I think boxes are very small for £10 (with meat). One of the box was missing a third of the food as well. Also, rice was good but noodles were not cooked enough.

Best place to have chinese and asian food. Owner is pakistani prepares really awesome dishes moreover we had vegetable noodles which included mushrooms, paneer and brocoli taste is awesome all spices were much mixed.

Had eaten here 2 times during our brief stay in Glasgow. The wok boxes we had were awesome, generous portion with on point taste. We got these for an affordable price. The servers were friendly and helpful. Service was quick. This place definitely deserves more spotlight!
