Had a valentines meal here and a birthday meal a few weeks later with the family. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was so good. Not too cheap but worth it! We'll definitely be visiting again.

I came with my family on Friday evening. The service was fabulous. Our waitress Alison was exceptionally nice and very pleasant. She was extremely helpful with my grandchildren aged 8 and 9. Alison was very efficient, happy and bubbly and very welcoming. An asset to the company. Our food was delicious I can highly recommend the steak ribs and chunky chips. Everything was cooked to perfection. Chocolate fudge cake was delicious and finished the meal off nicely.

Booked to have a evening meal for 6:30pm while on holiday. They rang at 12:30pm to cancel the booking. Don’t leave it last minute to cancel a table for a family on holiday as we are now struggling too book somewhere else for a evening meal. Don’t book unless you want to be burnt like us.

Booked in a a family of 6, Beers over priced, food good. Ambience at low level. Not the best in Brid but ok for a one off meal.

Booked a table via email they rang me to change timings arrived at 6.30 ordered drinks and meals drink came straight away but 50 minute wait for food, we both had steak which was lovely and cooked to what we asked for but far too many chips and wedges on.plates for one person put us off straight away. No choice of jkt potato or anything other than fried chips wedges etc Would visit again but wont be going back to brid as the place is a dump

Faultless. Superb food and staff. I ordered the steak and ribs combo meal which was 10/10. Very tender steak, cooked exactly as I asked with a delicious garlic sauce called “vampire slayer”. The ribs fell off the bone and were very tasty. Served fries and salad to top it all off. £17.50 total which I thought was excellent value for such a great tasting and huge portion meal. The staff are very polite, friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and is a very pleasant place to dine. Overall I could not fault the experience at all. 10/10 would wholeheartedly recommend, especially the steak and ribs combo.

I had steak and ribs combo couldnt fault it.ribs so soft and loads of meat. My fiance had steak ribs and chicken with peppercorn sauce he said is awesome. One waitress in there lovely woman did great job.

First time here and it was fine. Could do with some specials really. Staff were polite albeit a bit disorganised. The food took 50 mins to arrive so we were definitely ready for it. The food was fine, nothing outstanding but I would consider going back.

Had some brilliant times at Wild Bills. Tonight was a landmark birthday and my wife offered to treat me there, Advertised as opening 12-9, we arrived to find it closed !! My wife texted and found the place had changed ownership and was closed Monday and Tuesday !! Fine, but LET PEOPLE KNOW !!! Was really looking forward It, but really let down. In the light of this debacle I wont be going for some time, it at all depending on reviews, as if the owners attention to detail extends to the food I don't want to know.Quite disgusted especially to the response to my wife . Make your own decision !!

What can I say. Called on the off chance might have a table and we was in luck. We was greater by a charming young lady who told us it would be a 45 minute wait but that didn’t put us off. She took our food order and showed us to a table upstairs. We were give a menu and given time to peruse. Plenty of choice and we couldn’t decide but I. The end went for southern fried chicken and my husband had chicken and pulled pork. It didn’t seem long, after just chatting, our meal arrived. Wow what a plate full. Plenty of flavour and certainly cooked to order. Will visit again what a little gem.

Absolutely amazing, owner was lovely come to sit with us and meet our family, lovely decor, food was to die for, fajitas were out of this world, can’t wait to go back

Been wanting to try Wild Bills for a while now so we took the plunge and OH MY GOD. We thought for the price the portions would be small but they were massive! Definitely recommend the 'Mug of Mac' as a side if you're into Mac cheese. We'll be coming back here everytime we're in Bridlington as it is just THAT good. Thanks guys!

Came here for a family meal. The food was delicious, lots of variety on the menu. Staff were very attentive the service was brilliant. The only reason I give this a 4/5 is due to the amount of fat on the food, it was very tasty and well cooked however was a little oily for me but other than that I would definitely recommend!

We love this Restaurant. The food has always been excellent and the portions are huge!! I highly recommend the ribs. The bar is well stocked with a variety of cold drinks - I especially like the Gin Bar there. Loads of Gin flavours to taste. The staff are polite and friendly ready to greet you with a smile. Having spent the day in Scarborough and then heading back to Bridlington we decided to call at "Wild Bill'" for some food. We didn't want much as we were still full from our fish and chips earlier. Wild Bill's didn't have a table upstairs for us but told us we could eat downstairs. we ordered mainly appetisers from the menu and they arrived fairly soon. The food was freshly cooked to perfection and was extremely tasty! We've eaten there before and the second time round it was still as good as the first time. We ordered the baby back ribs from the kids menu, Buffalo chicken, onion rings, blue cheese and bacon slaw and Nacho's. It was all delicious but we didn't have room to finish it all, we gave it a good go though! Food great, service was ok, we had to ask for plates and this took a while. The card machine was not working so we had to pay a visit to the cash machine in order to pay our bill. Vanessa did tell us not to worry and to go after we had eaten.My only negative comment would be that we were seated downstairs with our two boys and a group of four lads came in to eat. One lad in particular was a lover of using obscenities (F word and C word) He had to be reminded by his friends that our boys were in his presence and told him to kerb his language to which he did. As the bottles of beer were consumed the language piped up again and the staff didn't make any effort to ask him to quieten down despite me given them the look of not being very happy. We would have stayed longer but i wasn't subjecting the boys to it. apart from that it was a great feed!

The southern fried chicken fillets are truly fabulous and it's worth a trip for that alone. However, when was the last time you had a bottle of wine brought to your table and not had it opened. Service was slow (out of season with circa 15 guests!) and we had to wait for two servers to finish discussing an order before we could be seated. They do takeaway food and I would stick with that as the table service is a detriment to a great chef.

If my review was on food alone, it would have been five stars! Succulent beef, gorgeous gravy, pudding to die for!Unfortunately, front of house has a lot to answer for.Slow, inattentive service. Arrived at 12.10 to eat at 12.30, it took an hour for first course to arrive. It was a cold starter so no problem, tasted great! The only drink we got offered through the whole afternoon was when we first arrived, after that it was every man (woman) for themselves! (There could have been easy 6 more drinks ordered from our table alone if we'd be asked.)Main course arrived after quite a wait, on cold plates, although it tasted lovely, I'm sure it would have tasted even better if hot.They catered for our toddler amazingly, Yorkshire pudding starter and sausage and mash, she loved it!After another long wait and now said toddler getting irritable, the puddings arrived. My mum had to eat hers with a serving spoon as that was what was given, it was huge! I had cheesecake which was delicious! My husband ordered the cheese board which was just that, crackers and cheese... no knife, no butter, no fruit (grapes perhaps?) He had to slice his cheese with a spoon as there was no one to ask for cutlery. The front of house lady, which I'm assuming is one of the owners, didn't crack a smile all afternoon, she'd serve one at a time and walk away, we had to shout her to come back to ask for horseradish sauce.On the whole, the food was faultless, best beef I've tasted in a long time. The service however leaves a lot to be desired.

We called into this restuarant on the off chance that there would be a table and we were in luck. I did not realise the restaurant was upstairs and thought we were the only people in there! How wrong I was! The food was delicious and there was far too much. For those who wanted to have more than one drink there was a special offer on. Went here for a family birthday meal. Service; really nice people, absolutely no problems and they come across as very approachable. It (I believe?) is a family business and a very lovely one at that.Food: Starters were absolutely divine and we really, REALLY enjoyed them to pieces. The main course steaks were great too, but the other side of our table that ordered Chicken based mains were very disappointing, sadly! It seems that a lot of places overcook chicken and make it extremely dry(probably worth doing due to risk of salmonella and a business reputation to uphold!), but my partner who quite literally only eats chicken and no other meats did not "want" to finish it and did not enjoy that part of the meal. We didn't bring this to anybodies attention mainly because chicken seems so commonly cooked this way in restaurants nowadays and the starters were a lot of food that really were DELICIOUS and the steaks - medium rare / medium well done & well done were cooked exactly as described to the waitress, really tasty. Price; Just right, I think. Any less and it would be an every day visit & cheap, any more and it would be over priced. I think you get a good experience and an enjoyable pallet of flavours for what we paid and what we ordered.Happy stuff, and I wish this place all the best. We will most probably be back, but we enjoy trying new places too much! Thanks!

After a busy day at the darts we decided to go here for an evening meal. We were surprised to be allocated a table upstairs there were 7 of us. We all had our drinks orders taken then our food order taken. A lovely atmosphere in there. Our food came what a spectacular sight. The portions were huge. We all really enjoyed. The steaks were outstanding. Cajun Chicken, Burgers and the fajitas were outstanding. An amazing little restaurant. Definitely recommend.

wouldnt go again if it was free!!!! poor service, not disabled friendly as advertised sat downstairs and ignored most of the night, we ordered a shared platter and 2 items listed were missing, daughter in law had a burger which was still very pink in middle and tasteless and then also overcharged not once but twice. There are better places and not as expensive.

Went on Saturday night and wished we hadn't bothered. Served warm bottles of beer, given steak that was full of fat that we couldn't cut with a steak knife when we complained the chef sent the waitress out with 2 vacuum packed steaks to show the standard of products they serve! The Cajun chicken we ended up being served was so spicy you couldn't eat it nor taste the chicken. Had to ask 3 times for the bill which was wrong. 2 of us have been ill overnight wich hasn't been pleasant at all. We saw 3 other meals returned whilst we were there. Avoid at all costs very poor restaurant they're more interested in selling gin

Went here for a family birthday meal and we were very impressed even the mother in law!!!! The food was piping hot on arrival to the table. All steaks were cooked to perfection and the portions do not disappoint. This place accomodates for all parties and staff are very friendly. The service was superb and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anybody. This place never disappoints!!

Went to Brid last week specifically to try a Wild Bills burger as looked to have great reviews on TA. Our 150 mile round trip got off to a bad start as we got there at 3pm only for it to be closed! The opening times online say open from 12pm so sure what went wrong there? Anyway after a great speed boat ride we returned at 4pm to sample what was on offer Unfortunately we were quite disappointed, we’ve tried burgers at a number of place around the UK and I can say this was only average at best! We had a Wild Bills bucking bronco - massive burger with chicken strips, brisket & pulled pork - the chicken was delightful, the best bit, would definitely have this again, however the burger and rest was quite dry so not great overall, The Brooklyn burger took my fancy as I expected a juicy burger dripping with melted cheese however the cheese was still solid and not fully melted, add that to quite a dry burger and tasteless bacon resulted in a not so great experience. It also had a massive thick slice of tomato on, I removed this as it just over powered the taste. My daughter tried the classic cheese burger (she tends not to experiment!) and she had the same issue with several slices of cheese that hadn’t melted so became quite dry. I’m not usually one to complain about too much cheese on a burger but it needs to compliment the overall burger The proper chips were tasty and a great addition enjoyed by all (albeit some a little well done)I hate leaving a not so great review and this might have been a one-off so please don’t let it put you off but I’d rather travel a few miles further North to Whitby as they have the best burger place ever that we’ve visited numerous times

We phone booked for two adults & two children. Arrived and the waitress somehow thought we was bringing two babies (my very well behaved kids are 8 & 13 ) so seated us downstairs with two high chairs. Tables downstairs are not the best to eat and ours wobbled constantly as did my chair. Comparing to when wild bills was at the funny onion we thought it had gone downhill. No kids colouring, no straws in drinks, no drinks menu (apparently they do a range of gins). I was still eating fork in hand and got asked if we'd all finished. Didn't get asked if we wanted desserts, didn't see a menu. Front of house staff was shocking. I'm not looking for silver service just the basics and it wasn't there. The one thing that is amazing though is the food.

I'll start with the good stuff - the food was very delicious and very generous portion sizes, (I couldn't manage to eat all of mine cos there was a bit too much). My daughter enjoyed her food too. Good value for money. However, the staff seemed a little on the unfriendly side. When we first walked in, there seemed to be a bit of a frosty atmosphere, as if we shouldn't have come in, haha. We were shown upstairs and given a table. Problem was, we were left for a fair amount of time before we had our order taken, (I got fed up with being ignored and I had to ask if we could place an order in the end) - the waitress seemed a bit annoyed at this. Another waitress seemed generally unhappy, but cheered up after a bit. Unfortunately, the restaurant upstairs looked like it needed a bit of a scrub in places. It's a shame, cos it could easily be improved with just small changes, like, giving the place a better clean and giving the staff some training in how to engage with customers properly. I would give the place another try though. There also needs to be some better lighting at the top of the stairs, plus maybe additional safety signage on the walls about the stairs, cos a child fell down the stairs (and the stairs are wooden, poor kid).

Went with family. The food is amazing, so freshly cooked and plenty of it. We found the all experience enjoyable. Lovely attentive staff.

An impromptu dinner, which turned out better the expected. Staff accommodated is even though we had no reservation. Quick service, good food, lovely atmosphere.

This was our third visit to Wild Bills but this time it was in their new premises in Bridge Street rather than at The Funny Onion. There were clean plates all round (family of 9 plus baby) which speaks for itself. The move to new premises has not affected the standard of the food! This is an excellent place for families but as the main seating is upstairs it is a bit tricky for prams and buggies (they can be parked downstairs though). Best to book in peak holiday periods as it is popular.

My family and I (7 of us) visited on the last night of our holiday and the food was amazing!

Dined here this evening, I'm glad we booked as the restaurant upstairs was really busy, but from the moment we walked in we received a warm welcome and friendly service, on arrival we were given the choice to order our drinks at our table or if we would like to order our drinks at the bar (to be brought to our table) before being shown to our table upstairs which was fab, by the time we got shown to our table and sat down with our menus the drinks weren't far behind us

Brought some family for a meal on a busy Saturday night, service was very friendly and nothing was to much trouble ! 4 ribeye steaks all cooked to perfection and all were delicious !! Will be back later in the year ! Thanks for a lovely evening

My husband and I went to this restaurant really looking forward to a lovely steak meal. However from the moment we arrived I was very dissatisfied. We we're left stood in the doorway for quite sometime before a member of staff asked us if we had booked a table and took us up stairs. We we're then asked what did we want to drink..I told the young lady that we hadn't seen a drinks menu. She didn't go get one ,so we just opted for the beer bucket. 45 mins later our meals arrived. My husband had steak with the most over cooked fried eggs on top I had ever seen and one of his side dishes were missing. My steak came and had blue cheese topping. Both plates were swimming in grease. The chips were burnt and cold. The best thing on the table was the onion rings. My husband eat his steak,but left the rest of his meal and I couldnt eat mine. It was so greasey ,it was slimy.When the young girl came to clear our food,she asked was everything ok..No we said food was not ok. She apologised and went into the kitchen. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food and service were poor.

This place is amazing, the staff can’t do enough to help you, the range of gins is amazing and the food is the best. Highly recommend the sharing nachos and the pulled pork burger. The only one downside is I wasn’t hungry enough to finish my meal

We stumbled across this place whilst trying to find somewhere to have some lunch. Myself, my husband and two young children were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in. The family who were working there were incredibly friendly and really good with my two young girls. The food was so nice too (Which always helps). The portion sizes were huge and we struggled to finish it all, not like us at all!!! Definitely worth a visit and excellent value for money.

Great service, great food, great value, great time. Would like to say thank you to all the staff at Wild Bills. Had a group of 20 of us for a Father's day celebration and were totally looked after by all and we all had great meals and service. Great venue.

We went to this restaurant last night to celebrate my husbands birthday, unfortunately for us there was a family with a small baby and it cried continuously through the meal then their other child started screaming later. It ruined the evening why cant people consider other people who had gone out for a quiet meal. Then to top it off my husbands steak wasn't cooked how he wanted so it was sent back when it arrived back we had all finished eating. The staff did try to amend the problem with reducing the bill and complimentary drinks and were very apologetic apart from the owner who was also the chef no apologies there, anyway needless to say we will not be going back. Just a positive comment the starters were really good, at least my husband had something to eat but it did spoil his birthday,

Was really looking forward to eating here after looking at the reviews, and the menu looks good. However there was no drinks menu so we had to ask what was available. Ordered nachos to share, which were fine apart from the guacamole. Then to the mains, I ordered steak (rare) and ribs. The steak was cold. Yes folks, cold. It was cooked ok. Sent it back, and the same steak was brought back to me having been reheated, so it was now medium/well done . NOT GOOD! The plate it was served on was cold as well which didn't help either, the chunky chips were soggy and almost inedible and the mushrooms looked like they were from a tin. The waitresses were horrified and very apologetic. Had 10 percent knocked off the bill, but couldn't be bothered to argue as we just wanted to get out.

Visited wild bills last night really enjiyed it food was fantastic and plenty if it...would of been a 5 but had to ask for our side order x2 which we got at the end of our meal. Staff very friendly and it was evident that they has a couple of staff who had not been doing the job long but did very well considering..will deffo go back..well done guys.

Lovely menu and the food looked amazing if only we had got any. Ordered but noticed after 20 minutes 2 tables had been served before us, asked where our meals were. Apparently not ordered. We decided to leave. Place was lovely but service awful. I asked about gluten free as advertised on here. Waitress really didn't have a clue as mentioned eggs??? Told her allergy was wheat barley rye and oats.

Eaten here twice since they moved to the new premises and can honestly say it is still as good as ever. Started using Wild Bills 2 years ago now and have eaten there a lot over that period and never been disappointed. Delighted with the new central location obviously still work in progress but still the only place I would eat steak. always cooked as I like it.

Our visit coincided with the imminent move to new premises. As a result the restaurant was in a bit of disarray and our waitress didn’t seem able to track down the first few drinks we tried to order. The place did look a bit shabby and could do with a thorough clean but perhaps this is understandable given the preparation for moving. The food was tasty and portions were on the large side but as we were the only diners in the restaurant there was absolutely no ambience. Even the taped music and a move further away from the bar couldn’t drown out an annoying repetitive clicking sound. Overall not a great experience but I wish them all well in their new premises.

Love this place visited regularly over the years since they opened!! Food is lovely, cocktails are gorgeous too!! Lovely staff very polite! The only problem I have with it is that I am not keep on the burgers as i think they contain horseradish which I’m not a fan of, but that’s just a personal taste issue! I now order the steak and it is cooked perfectly every time!! Creamy garlic and mushroom sauce is to DIE FOR!!! Like I said myself, family and friends all love this place and will keep returning for delicious meals and brilliant customer service for as long as we possibly can!!

Food was lovely and the setting was nice but the cleanliness wasn’t great.

I went here for a birthday meal and was very pleased with the initial walk in. The fungshway was calm and very family friendly, the music wasn't to loud to stop conversations nor was it to quite that you couldn't sing if you desired. The hygiene was fantastic; the food as well as the customer service where fit for royalty. Food presentation clearly had effort and passion put into it, as the use of baskets, was a refreshing way to see food layed out the restaurant definitely made it work.

Inside wild bills it’s spacious, nicely decorated with an American theme. The Staff were Friendly and had good customer service.

Visited with friends on a very busy Saturday night, service was great, we all ordered starters and mains, we were told there might be a delay due to the amount of orders the kitchen had on but the delay did not seem long and when the food came it was delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot ! Well done guys, keep up the good work

Absolutely shocking service meals came out an hour late half the meals where missing fagitas where cold and accompanying slides missing didn't come out till fagitas had been eaten there seemed to be no communication with staff who repeatedly brought meals that hadn't been ordered out would not recommend.

Food was nice but wouldn’t class as a steak restaurant as they only offered 2 cuts, rump and ribeye. Service was quick and good. The place is a little run down and could do with some TLC.

unique, fresh, trendy. perfect addition and change to the normal brid restaurants. absolutely fantastic and even accommodated my gluten intolerance. would recommend to everyone. fab for families, couples, parties, weddings

Well worth the wait, Having booked a table at Wild Bills we where not let down. The service was great and the food fantastic well worth the visit but be warned it can get extreamly busy so you may have to wait a while. It is worth the wait.

Great place to go for family get togethers or even if it's just out with friends for a good catch up food and drinks.

The food is very good quality and the price is very fair for what you get. The atmosphere and staff are great! Will be going back again

Visited early in the week so some of the family could try the new platters ! They were delicious and great value for the money ! But once again me and the hubby had the steak n chicken combo ! It’s so good , staff were very friendly as normal

Used to eat at wild bills twice a week (12 months ago) food always bang on the money and a pleasant experience. Visited 2 weeks ago and what a shambles.starters arrived wrong with barbecue sauce and not the hot sauce we ordered mains arrived with chips that were cooked in dirty oil, battered chicken overfaced plate and steak rested on same plate it was served on and unfortunately the plate was cold so steak was cold. Partners steak was full of fat and was sent back,it was at this point that things turned sour as the owners started to argue with us, totally embarrassing for our party in my opinion must be under new ownership as I have never recieved the poor service and experience delivered that evening. Avoid and look elsewhere, such a shame Bridlington loses a once great steak house

Really execellent service and food was outstanding. Could not pick a single fault, apart from very cold going to the toilets!!

We visited today for the youngest’s birthday having never been before. There were four adults and three kids. It was the afternoon therefore quiet so plenty of tables to chose from. The girl that served us was very friendly and accommodating we asked for couple of changes to our steaks and no problems.I had the rump rare and was cooked perfect. The other half went for a burger which was large Had everything on it. He enjoyed it said the chicken was lovely and the pulled pork nice but burger a bit greasy. Chips were gorgeous. One had cheese burger and youngest a mini burger from childs menu it was very small so ordered him another mini burger to go alongside. It was his birthday after all!! The classic hot dog was not available therefore a chicken fillet was offered instead and was enjoyed. Coffee was nice. They brought the cake out for us that we had taken with us and sang happy birthday. Overall nice place friendly staff/owner and would def visit again.

We were attending a gig at the spa so went for an early meal on a recommendation. We got a warm welcome and because it was early ant quiet got a nice window table. The American themed restaurant had an extensive menu with plenty of choice, standard items and some more unusual ones on the theme. Service was friendly and prompt. We chose to share chicken nachos to start and have a dog with pulled pork and a Philly steak for mains. The starter was good but could have done this more sauces. The guacamole was served in a little paper cup. Thought that was a bit naff and made it harder to eat. Nothing wrong with just piling it on the nachos and digging in!

Two meals small 8oz steak,which was cooked okay but some bits of gristle & chips a bit soggy,I had Chilli con carne Ok but could have been warmer,didn’t send back as already put the yoghurt on it.

Brilliant food friendly staff ....deffo worth visiting ..the ribs are to due for abd my husband had combination chicken n rib ...divine!!!
