Great vibe and lots of options!

Super friendly and welcoming staff. We only ordered two burger combos and another three burgers but they were nice enough to upgrade all the burgers to a combo with no extra charge. Delicious food and very affordable.

First time there... ordered breast burger meal.. was 100% the way i like it... chicken was cooked perfect chips were perfect not oily at all and not forgeting the chilli sauce.. wow i recommend any day..

Our family has been ordering from this restaurant for a long time and every single time without a doubt the food is amazing. The food is always well cooked and full of flavour! The service is amazing, and the staff are very friendly.

We had the kofta kebab, the classic burger with jalapeños, chicken burger, chicken strips and chicken & rice: All were tasty and top notch cooked in front of us. We're from out of town and enjoyed the take-away. If we're anywhere nearby- we'll be back.

Came because of good reviews. Bro charged me almost 50% (7pounds) more than what was on the menu. When I came to complain he said there are different prices for eating in - lol like 50% more for sitting in a place with no table service and no restrooms?) I guess they tried to scam me a little because they knew I was not local :/. Well i took the burgers to go and they were good, nothing special, mine was lacking sauce and was quite dry, the other one was fine. Overall it was decent for the price I just didn't like the above mentioned situation.

Wow, really enjoyed eating here, myself and my wife had taken kids to Harry potter studios and got back to our hotel around the corner quite late, hadn't eaten really all day so needed something so we popped in to funky flavours, the chap who served us was so very friendly and helped us decide on what we wanted, I had a flamer burger which was really awesome! Would go back to Watford just to have another! There was loads of options from kebabs, To burgers and even fruit smoothies etc along with just chips and tomato sauce for the kids! Even though it was late and close to closing time they made us aware they were going to start closing but applied zero pressure for us to eat quickly and leave which was a lovely thing to do for us. Overall we all really enjoyed our food and would definitely recommend if you're in the area and want a really good "takeaway style" eat to drop into funky flavours.

Heard some good stuff re funky flvs. Drove down from Luton and boy o boy was the food on point. Ordered for 4 man's with total bill of £58. Had a recommendation from mate to try kofta & chicken tikka burger, so we LL ordered this. Omd. The burger was soooo amazing. 10/10. Also had a cheeky 4oz smash burger and that was 12/10. Too too good. A must try for burgers.

We often get takeaway from here and the food is very good, the place is tidy and nice staff members. One of our favourite take-away places!

I am not a fan of restaurant food in the UK. Most of it is overpriced for being vastly inferior to home cooked food. However this place stands out as having excellent food which is well-prepared. It seems fresh. The Lamb Kofta is especially good. The customer service is also great. Well-done to the people that run this place.

Saw the reviews and was not too far from the Harry Potter Tour. Brought the clan - 15 of us! Food was served efficiently, tasted great and portion sizes were spot on. The owner also made sure we were looked after - great place!

Staying at the Holiday Inn express across the road from Funky Flavours decided to try them rather than hotel restaurant with the faimly. kids had wings and strips in mild sauce, loved them, I had combo burger loved it. The all round service was great with friendly staff was freshly cooked. Worth popping in if your staying at the Holiday Inn express and fancy some good takeaway food.

Funky Flavours is eye-wateringly good! Nothing could have prepared me for that glorious first bite. The lamb chops are fall off the bone tender, and deliciously seasoned. The chicken is also succulent and full of flavour. If you like Nando’s, you’ll love this! The spicy rice was soft and delicious. Even the salad was chilled, crispy, and fresh. This is the best take away I’ve ever had. From generous portions, to excellent customer service, Funky Flavours exceeded all my expectations. My delivery driver was extremely polite, despite my address being tricky to find. The food was delivered piping hot along with a chilled drink and a delectable special sweet sauce, which tasted divine with the lamb, and a tasty garlic mayo. If you haven’t ordered yet, get ordering! You will not be disappointed.

My boyfriend Stephen and I absolutely love this place. It is our favourite spicy chicken and chips/rice take away but they do all kinds of foods too. We have tried a lot of different places similar and none has topped funky so far. Best Friday night treat and doesn't break the bank... staff friendly too as well as delivery drivers. We hope this place never shuts down.

when we were looking for something to eat in Watford, place looks like not much, but we could not be more wrong. The food was AMAZING! Staff very welcoming, friendly and just looking after the customers. Two adults and three kids and only £25 for all of us, and everyone was happy and full. Lamb chops are to die for, and the burgers were just perfect. As we came from Ireland, if ever back again in these parts, that's definitely the place to go.

Anche i panini erano ben preparati e le porzioni abbondanti. Le salse come, indica il nome del locale, sono un po' Funky e quindi diversi dai soliti sapori dei soliti fast food. Prezzi imbattibili.

The chicken and the sauce here is 10/10 and there milkshakes are banging also I’d even say there chicken is better then Nando’s as there sauce has much more flavour, the owners are ok too but a lot of wannabe London gangsters come here to spend £5 and make loads of noise chatting dribble which is annoying even worst when the 40 year old plus owners started joining in talking like 18 year olds from Peckham! “Yeah you get me blood” etc lol I know really cringed!Other then that embarrassing episode I couldn’t find fault with the food but next time will get takeaway!

I come to Funky flavours several times a week where I’m Greeted with great customer care, they’re very polite and courteous, the food is very flavoured and perfectly cooked with a wide range on the menu. The deserts and shakes are delicious too and very good value for money. They also offer a delivery service. I would highly recommend this store

I order from here sometimes twice a week as its not only healthy but the best tasting food in Watford. i love the sauce on the chicken and the seasoned rice. The price is really good and the customer service is amazing. The Hygiene is outstanding and never once had an issue with food or delivery.

If you haven't tried funkys, your missing out.The value for money is brilliant. We love the full platters. 2 chickens, wings, strips & lamb chops. Comes with large chips, super crispy fresh salad and the spicy rice is to die for. Did I mention a large bottle of fizzy too?The staff are super efficient on the phone & the delivery drivers are also very nice.Try the funky sauce...thank me later.

Went here for dinner with my wife and 2 kids, cost £26 for all of us including a lamb kofte, very well made burger, a whole chicken platter and 2 of the best milkshakes ever. Food was very tasty and cooked to order, Staff were very polite and helpful. If you don't mind a no frills diner then this is worth a try. One tip, if you are driving and don't know the area, set your GPS for the avenue car park and take a 10 minute walk to the restaurant.

Very quiet place but loads of takeaway order. I went there on Saturday 27 August for early dinner. Had whole chicken with fries,rice,salad and big bottle of Pepsi for £10.99 (how bargain is that?) Large portion and chicken very nice taste also you can choose favour how spicy you prefer...I will definitely go back there again

Stopped in here for lunch with my mum today. Ordered the chicken breast pitta meal (includes chips and drink for 3.99). I have to say it beats Nandos by a mile on both flavour and value. Good portion, very fresh and tasty food. Very friendly service too.

The restaurant is perfectly named. The flavors are outstanding. Northern Indian style chicken is the feature and very good. Whole, breast, fingers or wings prepared perfectly with a unique char grilled finish. Variety of house made sauces to choose from. Make sure to try the funky sauce. Had the hot, just the right amount of heat. Rice or fries as a side and a nice salad mix. Great stop just up from Watford Junction on your way too Harry Potter. Prepared to order, appeared several in the know called ahead and ate in. Outstanding service.

I was initially reluctant to eat food from Funky Flavours based on what it looks like from the outside, but I was oh so mistaken! Been here twice now and both times the food has been top notch. Have tried burgers, chops and grilled chicken - could not fault any of those. Definitely coming back again.

Went to Funky Flavours whilst I was working in Watford and was met by very friendly staff. Explained the deals and kept us up to date during the cooking process.Very well priced and you can call ahead and it'll be ready for when you get there. Would 100% recommend eating there if you are in Watford and need some lunch.

Good choice of grilled meat; chicken, ribs, beef burgers, lamb chops. You can buy a "meal deal" for as little as £3.99 which includes meat in bun or pitta with chips or rice and a drink. It is nice comfy seating inside if you want to eat in, it has an American diner type feel to it. The only downside is because its cooked to order you sometimes have a wait of 15mins or so

Came back to Watford after travelling across the contry and was looking for a tasty, filling meal that was easy to get, value for money and when i called up Funky Flvours thats excatly what i Got! Great food, Great Value for money and Great Customer service! Excellent place with excellent food with excellent people - I will be back again very soon!

We live in Watford and eat here quite regularly with our two young children. The food quality is consistently good. The seating area looks and feels professional. It is therefore better for family and group meals and a quick meal out with the other half. The service is good on the whole and the staff are helpful when you turn up with small children. Overall, its the place we now eat out at most often as a family.

Ordered a takeaway, choose the jumbo platter, the value was incredible, 2 chickens, chicken wings, lamb chops , chicken strips, large chips , large rice, salad and a bottle of coke £19.99 and it was delicious, you can have them as spicy of as mild as you like, 5 adults and we could finish it all, also great milkshakes that are so thick and delicious it hurts your cheeks !
