Full of Beans in Christchurch

Very friendly and warm atmosphere. The owners accommodated us with two small babies during a rain storm. My older daughter is milk an d wheat intolerant and always finds it difficult to find somewhere to eat, the second daughter is vegetarian, so you can imagined the difficult logistics; plus two babies to feed. The owners went to great lengths to help her; it was delicious. They put together two tables to help us and it was so good, we came back especially 2 days later. This is a perfect example of a small family run business offering a better and more personal service than the big chain cafes and succeeding. The High Street in Christchurch gets very busy. Take a short stroll down Castle Street and you will find this dog friendly gem offering excellent value at a good price. You will not be disappointed at the friendly Welcome and value for money menu Enjoy!!

Visited this lovely friendly cafe today Loved it.. the staff were so friendly and accommodated my gluten free dietary requirement so well. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt very reassured. Highly recommend

Lovely little place just by the castle ruins/gardens. We stopped in as three hungry adults, a hungry child and a fidgety baby towards the end of the day and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Coffee is excellent (and I don't often say that about most places!), cream teas & cake were lovely and my son's sandwich was fresh and very tasty. Service was excellent, highly recommended stop off point if you're passing - if I was local I would certainly visit regularly!

Loved this little gem. Made to order sandwiches on locally made fresh bread. So tasty. The supply of cakes looked delicious. Staff were very friendly. Glad we chose to stop for lunch.
