Lovely food and friendly service. Great crispy chips (very important) and good fish and pies. There is also a large variety of Chinese food. Would recommend.

Beautifully cooked but WAY TO HOT. My partner did ask for not to spicy to the man at the counter. He just said yes not spicy. But didn't seem to care.. Got home & it was way to much spice.(HOT). it was on par with a Vindaloo or Madras.. if you like that fair enough but I like HOT but couldn't taste nothing. Way to HOT.

Under new management, food is much better than before and excellent atmosphere good customer services and additional signature dishes

We wanted fish and chips. The fish was soggy although freshly cooked. Batter was like wet paper. The chips, generous portion, were again soggy. Altogether a disappointment, won’t be going there again

Went to get a take away of 2 saveloy, one cod and portion of chips. Without asking the fish was in with the chips and when you attempted to take the fish from the chips it just all fell apart. Not sure it was cooked properly anyway but it was simply awful. Could not eat the fish and whilst my daughter had the saveloy and a few fish covered chips we will never return to this place. I am not sure if it’s a Chinese take away (would not chance it) or is meant to be a fish and chip shop. If it is then based on what we had served it needs to be closed to put everyone out of their misery. Easily and without question the worst fish and chip place in Henley and probably the Uk. Avoid unless you want to pay for absolutely awful food (cash only says it all as well, even the kebab places take cards now a days).

I popped in for a portion of chips only (thank god) ! I’m so happy I didn’t have anything with any meat in it. Most of the food was binned ! A work colleague bought fish and chips and his fish was all slimy . The smell of the food was horrendous and I’ve felt rough ever since. I must check in with my colleague to check if he is still alive. Literally go anywhere else . The worst food I’ve ever eaten .

Nothing special about this Chinese takeaway it is absolutely average there is nothing more I can say about it.

The WORST Chinese takeaway. They put a menu through the door which looked fresh and professional - very different to the previous encounter where I was greeted in the shop with someone passing my food wearing dirty flip flops. So I thought I’d try it again. It was awful. No more can be said. Grease heaven (or hell as it was in my case). Took one mouthful and chucked the rest in the bin. Avoid at all costs - I won’t make the same mistake a third time. Horrible.

Being 71 years of age and my hobby is food and travel. I have eaten chinese from very many Chinese establishments around the UK. I am sorry to say that the Full House is by far the worst I have visited. Started with very watery hot and sour that had very little meat or other solids in it. Second course chicken satay skewers, the sauce was acceptable but I think the chicken was as old as me as it was so tough. Finally House special chow mein, tasteless and tough cheap meat. Over half of each course was discarded, never agail.

Biys and I wanted a Chinese takeaway and we knew the shop was under new management.. It was great, huge portions of food and properly hit the spot. Thank you !

i have lived here years, always ate here. stopped after a meal that sat me on the loo for a while, may or may have not been the full house food. went in last weekend sunday couple of beef curries these were so bad , my urine is thicker then the sauce, a few onion slices plus beef . had the sweet and sour chicken honky stonky style this was good.

We had a great Chinese takeaway. A starter, 3 main meals and rice. All freshly cooked and tasted great. Very generous portions. Not greasy, full of flavour. Prawn crackers were lovely too (not stale as you sometimes find). They were even kind enough to amend a dish a bit to take account of a dietary need. Lovely bonus of fortune cookies. We’ll be back.

If you're after a decent cheap chinese meal then I would recommend Full House. The portions were generous, the food quality was OK for the dishes I ordered but the stand out was the chilli beef that was crispy and delicious. The aromatic duck was average. Beef in oyster sauce was great! And they delivered!

This is by far the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve experienced. The Happy Wok on Greys road is much better. Twice I’ve received the wrong order and with an allergy serving food which contains the allergen is unforgivable. Avoid.

We’d Chinese and fish & chips and they all were disgusting. Even the simple chips were bad and all in small pieces... never eat there again 👎

Under new and very friendly owners, very much improved. Food is of good quality, reasonably priced with an extensive menu.

This place should stop trying to make fish and chips and stick to being a Chinese take away......fish and chips are disgusting

We moved to HENLEY 6 months ago and was told there was no decent Chinese takeaway... what rubbish! This place is so good we ordered from there twice in one week. Really delicious and they do fortune cookies too which he threw in for free after we told him how great his Chinese food is.Highly recommend!

I'm a Northerner so I know my fish and chips. Believe me, this was the worst fish and chip experience I have ever had in my whole life. The cod was in an envelope of oil-soaked stodgy batter and the fish was grey, not white as it should be, and the chips were also poor. It was totally inedible. The Chinese food may be just fine, I don't know, but the owner of this place should not be allowed to sell fish and chips. Never again.

Took us a while to find the street from where we were because we were looking for a restaurant type frontage. We knew it was a fish and chip take away as well, but we did find it and it is near to the Main Street. The Chinese was good but not as nice as my local at home, but it did have the best in Henley for Chinese take away. Very friendly owners .

My daughter bought us a Chinese meal as a treat for my Birthday, I can honestly say this was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten, it tasted of fish, dried up, and very obviously reheated. What a waste of £30, never again.

Food was delicious and the staff were very happy and cheery! First time using this Chinese but will definitely be returning.

Worst Chinese, ever had , ribs in greasy oil , over cooked rice , beef in dish with very little beef, no meat in pancake roll , best dish was prawn crackers which were free Will not use again !

Both Chinese and fish and chip bar, this place is well priced and serves wonderful food. I have tried the others in Henley and keep going back to this one.

The Chinese owners offer a good selection of takeaway food and reasonable prices. Souther Fried Chicken, Cod, Pies, Sausages, Chinese dishes....and great chips.

the food was absolutely amazing! i enjoy every bit of it, the service was extremely friendly - due to this i highly recommended the food! i never liked Chinese as much as i've adore this one!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED❤️

The chicken balls are the best, I like to glaze them in hot sauce and forget about them til the middle of the night while I got a hot chick hangin' off my lip as I stumble into the kitchen with my doo rag on rapping to Wu-Tang Clan after lifting weights and having hot movie sex..

called in to try after over a year since we have been .. not impressed .had fish and chips and all i could taste was chinese spices .batter was soggy ..chinese menu might be better

The full house had excellent customer service and the food was brilliant :) I had chicken chow mien freshly made and it had was so good! They are also friendly and nice to have a chat with when you're waiting for your order

Este año estábamos un poco preocupados porque nuestro favorito para llevar tenía nuevos propietarios y no estábamos seguros de qué esperar, pero decidió continuar con la tradición y organizar un almuerzo de pescado y chip, no nos decepcionó, la comida siempre era fresco, caliente y el tamaño de las porciones. Pedimos para estar listo para 12. 45 y dieron una llamada de cinco minutos antes de decir que estaba listo para recoger. New ownership has brought this little gem to life. Amazing food, amazing people. It's a must if you're in the area. Once again, amazing.

The Full House was recommended to me by a couple of local people when i asked them about a chippy in Henley and I have to say the food was lovely. A very ample portion of crispy chips and a decent sized piece of fish , big white flakes of cod with just the right amount of perfectly cooked batter. I can honestly say that i haven't enjoyed fish and chips so much in years. Prices were reasonable and service was prompt and polite. I didn't pay much attention to the Chinese food menu but judging by the people coming in to collect takeaways I would assume that is just as good.

Lemon chicken and beef with black bean source - always tasty! The staff are keen to look after their customers and it's a nice friendly place.

The new management here is Brilliant. The food is good and the customer service is even better. I recommend the chicken noodle soup.

The food was amazing, it tasted so good, the man that served me and my friends was really nice and he put a smile on my face. I go there quite a lot and it's just really good customer service. I go there that much they know of by heart what I have. This place is amazing 100% the food quality is outstanding.

Very sad to say as this take away has been good for many years under the old owners. Had some Chinese today it was inedible and we threw it away. The smoked shredded chicken had no chicken it it at all just fried batter that was so tough you couldn't chew it. Such a shame after the previous owners has such a good reputation. Happy wok up Greys Rd is good so go there instead.

Best chips one could ever want to eat in their entire lifetime! They are so irresistibly scrumptious that you want to go back again and again!

The full house. I could think of a much more appropriate word for this than full!Absolutely awful.The food was all oil and salt and just didn't have that fresh taste about it. IT was like the food had been left on the side all day and then reheated and splashed with sauce to disguise the dried tasteless meat and vegetables.Only after a few spoonfuls the rest was thrown in the bin. But What we did eat I'm afraid to say stayed with us for the next 36 hours.Never again.

I am a local customer and cannot believe today. I wanted a large portion of chips to eat at the riverside with my partner. I paid £2.80 for large for enough to share and once at the river to open, there was barely enough for 1. Once I'd finished, I returned to express my frustration. The lady could not care less and I felt as all they care about now is taking your money. I will NEVER return and will spread the word. I have been using this establishment for a very long time and the new owners are to blame. Bye custom

A local person recommend this place. The chips were good but one of the two pieces of cod we bought was terrible. It was dry and tough. Everything appeared to be cooked to order so there was obviously a poor control of the quality of the fish. I was a bit dubious when i noticed they were displaying on their window a hygiene rating of only 3. I recommend you try somewhere else.

Last night we ordered some food to bring home from here with slight trepidation, our last visit here ended with most of the food going in the bin (even the dog didn't get it).So, after getting the stuff on the table we could see that it wasn't what we expected, well actually it was what we expected, bloody awful!!We will not be using Full House again and suggest that if someone were to open a decent Chinese takeaway in Henley they'd make a fortune.Sorry, but more Empty House than Full House

Was very pleased at the good food and very reasonable prices. They were friendly and helpful. Would be great to have home delivery as well.

It's rare that I give a poor - It's a shame the chips are so raw and undercooked here, it's almost as if the staff never taste their food and just hope we go off never to be seen again. I went here with a heavy heart as I have had bad food here before and nothing else was available for around £6 at this hour. I had Cod and chips which was copious - the batter was crisp and lovely but the fish was cool-ish and with the white chips I was under-wowed, ate what I could and then put the rest in the bin. I know I should have gone back but us English have a bad habit of being able to go back and complain, especially in a takeaway. My previous complaints about here are that no food is ever ready and they should be able to have food under the lights especially during Regatta and get some sort of production line going. They also do chinese food here to order and I had this last in 2013 and it was good. But on the Fish and Chips side, they need to test and taste their own food, as Gordon Ramsey says.

Having used this Chinese takeaway occasionally for over 15 years, the food has got worse - tonight was the worst yet. Some of the dishes were dreadful; none of it was good; horrible after-taste. There are no good Chinese takeaway alternatives in Henley but we still won't be ordering from here again.

Never again, very rude staff and unpleasant attitude. I left the place unable to believe how bad the girl was answer my simple questions about their food.

Great food and quality every time and whenever I go there the owners seem to know and recognize their customers - return business is always a good sign!!
