Full House in South Oxfordshire

New owners have turned this restaurant around. The restaurant now offers really good quality dishes at really good value. I now eat here on a weekly basis.

Good quality food, good services .. definitely will revisit again and again

Amazing Chinese food with the new owner taking over a few months ago. Neighbourhood-friendly. I was feeling ill and the owner was kind enough to prepare an off-menu beef noodle soup for me — warm and delicious. Ordered the set menu for 2 people and the food was great, especially the beef, spare ribs, and the fish cake!

Probably the best Chinese I've ever eaten. Prawn balls were perfect. Food was delicious and not greasy

I have used Full House for a few years and they have always been great. Beef chow mein and crispy duck always a favourites. Tonight they delivered in good time on a busy night but forgot the plum sauce, I would normally not make an issue but pancakes need plum sauce. I was amazed that they made a return visit with plum sauce. We all make mistakes but very few would respond in the same way. Thank you Full House

The best Chinese around, the place is ran under new management and they are delivering great food at good prices i would highly recommend this place.

Absolutely the best ever. These noodle are epic. Hands down. This Chow Mein is everything. I’ve searched this country for a Chow Mein that makes me keep coming back. This is it. No one in my everlasting search has made, consistently, noodles this good. I can’t say anything about any of the other dishes, but with noodles this amazing why would I?! Believe me when I say I’ve searched far far far and wide to find some good Chow Mein. These noodles are the best thing about Henley. ***EDIT*** I’ve had the same noodle dish maybe seven times since this review (don’t judge me) - but having travelled the world, having tasted how a chow mein should be like, I definitely have the badge to say that these guys are amazing. This isn’t based on one review where a pissed up douche decided he needed some douche bag sweet and sour with his douche bag chips..this chick knows her noodles. These guys know what they’re doing. I’ve searched for the absolute best chow mein. Found it in these guys x UPDATE! - if anyone is still interested in my noodle updates, then thank you! - so…. Full house has new management, a whole new team. On my hot and sweaty way back home just now, in Henley, I met Martin, the new owner of Full House and he is professional, polite, really funny and he was super keen to let me try the noodles (I’m a dedicated life long chow mein adorer and on the ultimate quest to find chow mein perfection) I have to say, these are very very close to that supreme goal, reaching the noodle heaven. Their chow mein is fresh (I think every dish is absolutely freshly made) and it tasted like pure noodle deliciousness. I am really keen to support these guys as I think their food is the freshest in Henley. Sure, Wetherspoons make your food to order, but it’s pre made and pre packaged in a warehouse in Lincolnshire. This food is real. Or as real as an ‘English Chinese’ I continue to recommend Full House to anyone willing to listen to me, but now, even more so. Well done guys.

Surprisingly good food given this is a small back street shop. Very quick to prepare a delicious meal and sensibly priced.

Nice but a little too much salt

Ordered 2 meals. Singapore fried rice & house chow mein. The rice was of a yellow appearance, void of any taste or meat. The chow mein was plain, again void of much meat but if your a vegetarian great as there was plenty of the bulked greens. Come on Henley, can't you do better than this?

Very fast delivery, delicious hot food just within few minutes on your table. They do have delivery service but why I can't see on Google map, just want to rectify.

Delicious food! Always perfectly warm and the staff are punctual, warm and generous. They gave us plenty of prawn crackers and fortune cookies as an extra.

The chinese food is good but the fish and chips were not the best...

I love the prawn dumplings... and their prawn chow mein is the best... so flavourful...! The only two negatives I have is... their Curry Sauce was in such a small tub compared to their rival Chinese Takeaway also located in Henley on Thames, AND they only accept Cash as a payment option, which is a nuisance... However, on a positive... at least they have FINALLY started to deliver... woopee!!!

Great chinese food, the egg fried rice is amazing! Home delivery is also super quick, rarely any longer than 30 mins.

I have ordered here a few times. There is no one of the most delicious Chinese food. This Chinese food already has a delivery service. But it shows that there is no delivery on google. Hope google can change it in time.

Very Tasty, they started delivery service, it gave me convenience so that I don't need to go out collect food when the weather is bad.

Absolutely awful.....the special fried rice barely had anything in it....such a dissapointment. I will never go there again!!

Full House is our new favourite Chinese, the staff & service is great, delivery times within 30mins & the food is delicious & always hot, the Capital Spare ribs are the best l have ever tasted 😊

Always great fresh Chinese food, friendly fast service

Awful! Really gone down hill in the last couple of years! Not sure what the sauce on our BBQ ribs where, but it was watery and definitely not BBQ. The dishes we have ordered that have had sauce have all been watery and dissapointing. The only thing we enjoyed were the prawn crackers.

Down In Henley for a weekend course in November. Lovely friendly welcome. Owner told me to wait in my car as I'd be warmer and he'd come out with my order. Food delivered quickly and was delicious ! Would definitely recommend.

Crispy beef was nice but the sweet and sour chicken tasted mushy like it was microwaved. Beef and black bean was a bit on the rubbery side too.

Really good value takeaway. They don't just do fish & chips but a wide variety of other product like fish & chips.

Being a Northerner I know my fish and chips, so I can honestly say without any doubt that this was the worst fried fish I have ever had in my life. Huge wedges of oil-soaked batter on a strangely-shaped piece of cod that came out of a packet.....absolutely inedible. The Chinese food may be just fine, I don't know, but don't even think of buying fish and chips from this place.

Just eaten here for the first time, absolutely superb pork dumplings, all the food we had was amazing, highly recommend , will be going back again!
