Been buying fudge here once a year for four decades. Genuine, traditional, handmade and delicious. The absolute best fudge I've eaten. Breaks my heart to see the unwary wandering into the Johnny-come-lately, pre-mixed, chain store that sprung up across the road. They haven't a clue what they're missing. Just wish I could order it all year round, online. Especially their tablet.

What can we say? Never tasted fudge like it. Brilliant and what a vast selection of flavours especially as we could taste every one. Far superior to that of a well famous fudge company and certainly not sugary. The lavender flavour was exceptional which my husband loved and the traditional clotted cream and Turkish delight was, in my opinion a delight! It’s just as well we don’t live nearby otherwise it would certainly be a weekly visit when we would be putting on a few kilos! Will look forward to another holiday in Lyme Regis pretty soon.

If you love Fudge and are wondering if you can find a fudge that you haven't had . . then look no further than the FK! I got a pick and mix of about a dozen flavours .. most of which I had not had before. Thanks guys and keep up the good work.

Best vegan fudge I have ever had. Particularly the strawberry, wish I had bought more! I have visited before in my dairy-eating days, and can confirm there is also an amazing selection of regular fudge, the only problem is choosing what to get.

So pleased we decided to stop at the fudge shop instead of the chain competitor across the road. The fudge is to die for! So many delicious flavours, my personal favourites being the luxury seaspray and malteaser. Friendly staff and well priced, we came back the next day for some more for ourselves and as gifts for family. Will definitely come again next time we’re in Lyme Regis and recommend it to anyone who visits!

I'm glad I came across this place. It's not often I can find vegan fudge, so when I saw they add options I thought I'd grab some. There were 3 or 4 varieties available and I even got a sample of one before buying. Extremely tasty and good quality fudge served with an appreciative smile. Very good COVID precautions in place - granted they are more strict than the guidelines, but I appreciated that it's being taken seriously. It's better to be safe than sorry for the sake of an extra few seconds. Really quick and easy service and the gentleman that served me was grateful for the custom. Will definitely be back.

Got told very bluntly to put a mask on whilst standing outside and ordering fudge through a window from a two meter distance. Not the government rules and not the way to speak to a customer

Lovely fudge !! Not even vegan but after sampling a little bit had to get some (even went back for another bag before leaving) So delicious and so many flavours. Lovely lady serving too and very covid safe 💘💘

Love the fudge from the fudge kitchen. Now open after lockdown and serving through window, so you no longer serve yourself, but the girl serving was very helpful. Delicious!

Fudge was lovely. Just a bit put off by another person at the till barking at the girl serving me - advising that as I was 2p short of £5 I had to pay 5p to pay contactless. Not a great customer experience 😑 but fudge is brilliant

Although the shop is very small and you have to wait to make your selection it is really worthwhile being patient. The choice is amazing and as you can pick-n-mix it is easy to sample lots of different flavours.

We have bought fudge here several times and it's always been excellent. We now make a point of stopping by on our way home from cornwall holidays. The raspberry chili is absolutely amazing!!

Came here a couple of times to stock up on fudge and without doubt it is the best fudge we've had. Really friendly team who run the shop. It is also independently owned and all the fudge is handmade by them, so well worth supporting if you are in the area and have a sweet tooth!

This is without a doubt the best fudge you can get. The Turkish delight and sea salt are just outstanding.The chilli raspberry looks so inviting but as I am a bit of a wimp the lovely lady serving let me try a bit. I’m so glad she did as it has quite a bit of heat and if you like that you will really enjoy it. As I don’t I had an extra piece of the Turkish to keep me going.Avoid all other fudge shops as this is ell worth the 150 mile round trip we made to get it.

I am not a fan of fudge, really! The mint chocolate fudge, the turkish delight, and the luxury seaspray chunks i bought for my other half were so good, i marched back in and bought another bagful! So smooth and creamy, not gritty and flaky, and not too overly sweet and sickly either. The lovely lady that runs the shop is so chatty and great with talking about the making process too! Such a pretty shop,and definitely the bst fudge we've ever had!

Chilly one had a lovely kick taste. All sort of different flavours, served by a lovely helpful lady. What a taste. Hhmmmm!

We spent the weekend in Lyme Bay and went into the shop on our first day. The lady serving was very helpful and offered some fudge for tasting which we loved. My wife filled a bag so I was expecting the usual pick and mix treatment and got ready to remortgage the house but I was very pleasantly surprised. The value for money was very good and was matched by the quality and the flavour. We ended up going back on each day we were there and we loved it. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town.

Fudge-tastic! Absolutely delicious homemade fudge by people that really care about what you’re eating. We came upon this lovely shop quite by chance and just had to buy a wide selection of beautiful treats! So many flavours I want to go back and get some more...we can’t decide which was the best.

Lovely little shop with a friendly owner. I liked that you could pick and mix the fudge and didn’t have to have one flavour (and so did the children!) I was happy to support this local business. And the fudge was delicious!

I wouldn't say I'm addicted to fudge (some would) but I've eaten more than my fair share ;o) I always call in at the fudge kitchen when I'm visiting Lyme, the fudge really is the best I've found anywhere. Yes, the owners do rant (in a nice way) about the commercial mix stuff you can buy elsewhere and probably shouldn't really as their product speaks for itself.

I popped in for a browse, but walked out after hearing the manager ranting and raving to some couple at the counter about the Roleys sweet shop across the road. Honestly, quite intimidating and nasty. I asked a couple of other traders across the street if this was common, they said the staff do it to all the customers. I feel pretty sorry for the owner of the other fudge shop (which, surprise surprise, had friendly customer service with not bad fudge). Customer Service 101: If your product is the best, you don't need to badmouth other retailers to prove it... negativity does not sell.

I was looking for somewhere to treat myself to a bag of fudge while on holiday. There were 3 fudge shops very close together but as this was an independent store and did some interesting flavours I went in. The lady explained the pricing and that you could pick and mix your selection as well as putting the bag on the scales to check the cost as you selected. Delicious, i spent £5 but its not going to last long!!

Lady was at pains to point out that her fudge was completely homemade (unlike the shop opposite). Sadly though I found the fudge - and I bought a selection of flavours - to be rather solid, almost toffee textured, not quite what I was expecting. I like a more melt in the mouth experience, if however, you are more of a toffee person then this is the shop for you. Just not for me.

We stopped in here for some Fudge. We were going to go across the road to the chain Fudge shop but after speaking to the owner of this shop we were soon talked out of it! The owner gave us some samples and was very passionate about his Fudge which was lovely to see. I think it was reasonably priced too! Good work!

Very disappointed. Bought some fudge yesterday for ourselves and also gifts. We have arrived back home and have found broken glass in one of the bags. Have thrown all fudge away just to be in the safe side.

A nice independent fudge shop with many different flavours of fudge. Pic 'n' mix style allows you to have as much or a little as you like, with different flavours. It is a lot better than having to buy a big bag of one flavour.

There are so many mass produced fudges that claim to be the best, I’m telling you there not. If you want real fudge that has real flavours and are honestly made then you need to visit this quaint little shop. The owners love what they do and they want you to too. Real enthusiasm and passion for there fudge. Look forward to our next visit.

I am not a fudge fan, but this was amazing. This isn't mass made fudge either, it's all made from scratch in so many different flavours. I really loved the Chilli and raspberry chocolate; the marzipan...with real fruit bits; maple flavoured, Turkish delight..... it was all just so delicious. We went back on our last day of holiday to buy more to take home, and our favourites had all gone and the new batch not ready until the day after. Easily the best fudge I've every tasted. Thank you. Needs to be purchasable online!.

On our day trip to Lyme Regis we came across this gem of a fudge shop the man behind the counter was very nice given samples of fudge we bought a nice selection of very nice fudge from here and enjoyed it very much when we are next down from Bristol we will be definitely getting our fudge from here

Se detuvo para tés, dos enormes scones, un montón de cuajada y mermelada. Muy generosas porciones. Té era encantador. Espacio diminuto pero preciosa. También compramos algunos fudge, pero no era demasiado fascinado con esto. Tienda precioso hotelito.

Definitely the place to buy fudge from in Lyme. There's plenty to choose from, I could easily have had it all. There was not only different flavours but also different styles such as crumbly fudge or not. You pick your own, like a pic and mix, and you can keep weighing to check the price as you go, which I thought was good as you don't get that surprise at the till when you realise how much you've put in. I also had a good amount for the price I paid. The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful and friendly. She offered us the chance to try any we wanted before choosing and talked us through some of the flavours and how it was made. Next time I'm in Lyme, I'll definitely be back.

This fudge shop is easily the best in Lyme (and I can say that having tried them all during my recent trip there!) - a charming little tea room with a lovely sea view, and fudge to die for. The variety of flavours on offer was great, my particularly favourites being Malteser and honeycomb! The only drawback is that the tearoom is tucked out of the way, on a busy day you could well get left forgotten there with customers just dropping in for some fudge! Being able to take card would be a huge advantage too - perhaps something like an iZettle Reader would really help you guys out.

Treated myself to a small bag, it was so good that I bought a much larger bag to take home as a present. Staff very helpful, and free tasting.

I always go into the Fudge Kitchen when I'm in Lyme Regis. I bought some different flavours yesterday - raspberry and chilli, salted caramel and Turkish Delight. Delicious doesn't describe them, they're all amazing especially the raspberry and chilli. It's all so fresh and tastes so much better than the franchise fudge you can buy anywhere in the South West. Definitely worth a visit.

Whilst visiting the west country, we decided we couldn't come away without some fudge! During our visit to Lyme Regis, we came across this lovely little shop today. The gentlemen behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. I have a rough idea how to make fudge but what I didn't know was that some of the shops make theirs with a number of preservatives and additives. This was not the case here, unlike the shop across the road...Anyway, good selection of flavours, and he even let us taste a couple! We came away with a few bags!

I went into this shop for a thank you gift for my mum for looking after our daughter for a long weekend. I wanted to get her fudge as it was a lovely sweet treat and I knew she would love it. I was told by the owner serving that it was all homemade there in their little shop, all made authentically to traditional recipes, so I thought this is the place. There were so many flavours, he told me the best value way to buy the fudge was by weight in a bag and he could label it up as it was a gift, so another bonus. I selected some flavours and my mum absolutely adored it all, her favourite was the turkish delight one.All I can say is I wish I lived closer as I would buy this as gifts regularily and my mum wants some more.

I went in for gluten free fudge I was told which was gluten free and two sorts wasn't then I queued up to find that the tonks to pick the fudge with gluten in it was then used to pick up the NON gluten fudge that it just a huge NO NO as its contamination and can make people ill also it should e in a separate part too prevent ant cross contamination sorry this sooo put me off for that reason only.

The fudge is incredible and has a good selection of flavours. The girl serving was also an absolute natural when it comes to customer service. I tried this place and the Roly's fudge shop across the road but would recommend this place over Roly's for its much better level of customer service.

too much to choose from but somebody had to do it! Salted caramel fudge was our favourite but malteser came a close second. A bit pricey but worth it. You can weigh as you go so watching the pennies unlike cinema pick and mixes when you realise you've spent a bomb at the till. Have a treat and get stuck in!

Popped into shop yesterday to buy fudge and found woman serving to be just as rude as when I last went in last year so I didn't buy any fudge but crossed the road to the other fudge shop and what a difference bought boxes of fudge from there. Lovely service.

We popped in to buy some fudge, the owner was very friendly and offered us many different types of fudge to try before we even bought any. The owner has been doing this for a very long time, he spoke to us about how he makes it etc.... Many different flavours to try, you can keep weighing on the scales in front of you so you can keep an eye on how much you spend. The fudge tastes amazing too!!!

First of all it's good to find a fudge shop where you can serve yourself and weigh as you go so you know how much it's going to cost. There's a good selection of fudge with at least one new flavour each day we visited. The fudge is very tasty and would recommend a visit.

Visited this shop by chance, yummy fudge, definitely would return. Recommend too.Loved the idea of the self service to, many choices on offer.

Wonderful flavours and terrific value, we stayed in Lyme Regis for a week and visited this shop every other day (at least). This is the only fudge in the area which appears to be hand made, and you can even tell by the way that it's cut. I wouldn't go anywhere else for local fudge! Also a wonderful tea room in the back serving up a range of cakes! Not to be missed.

Stopped here by chance and popped in and sampled a couple of fudges , the Saltsea caramel fudge was to die for , so was the clotted cream fudge , we bought a far amount and really enjoyed them after supper the same evening. The shop owner was very nice and helpful , will be back again when in Lyme Regis again.

So glad found this fudge shop as its set back slightly from the route we walked with buggy! However when tried the fudge it was amazing. Self service and you can weigh as go along to see how much spending but still spent a bit because it was so great. I'll be back!

Whilst walking around Lyme Regis we fancied a cup of tea so called into The Fudge Kitchen.You order at the counter and then go through to the tea room which although tiny was quaint and charming with a shabby chic style. There is a window at the end of the room with a view of the sea.The tea and hot water came in silver pots along with china cups and saucers with a jug of milk. Total bill £3.20 which we thought was reasonable.This is a charming place with friendly staff and well worth a visit.

Visited Lyme Regis yesterday and popped in here to buy some fudge before we left. Lots of flavours and the gentlemen let us try some before we bought any as well. Fudge is lovely and bought my mum some too which I'm sure she will also enjoy. Would recommend. Was told it is gluten free too which I can imagine would be good for some people!

Lovely afternoon treat of Dorset afternoon cream tea. We were a large party of 7 so the room on the ground floor was just us. Perfect attentive service - lovely bone china cups and selection of teapots and hot water to top up the tea. A little jewel and yummy sea spray fudge

I had a great time picking out fudge from the amazing selection. The proprietress gave me tastes of several flavors, including lavender, violet, clotted cream, raspberry chocolate chili, and Eton mess. They have traditional flavors too, and I got some of those as well.

I didn't think I liked fudge, but I discovered Fudge Kitchen and changed my mind! The variety of fudge is varied and I love the chocolate turkish delight, as does my husband. The quality of the fudge is wonderful and I've made several trips to the shop - whilst on holiday - to buy fudge for myself and also as gifts for family and friends. The owner explained to me how the fudge is made, and reassured me that no nasty additives are added to the product, which ticked the boxes for me. I've got another holiday coming up soon, so I will be wending my way along Broad Street to the Fudge Kitchen, and as my purchase is weighed, I shall indulge in one or two (or more!) of the free samples. Delicious!
