Frying Squad in Lewisham

The burgers are incredibly tasty, 4 pounder and chicken fillet burger.

Just had Chicken and mushroom pie and chips. Chips were fine. The pie felt like it was yesterday's stock and smelt like sick. Won't be going back that's for sure.

I come to this chip shop weekly. However, everytime I visit the cod size varies despite my order being the same. Today I have vowed to stop going to this chip shop because I ordered my usual order of a large cod and large chips and was given a very small cod. When I questioned it the man serving me justified the size by saying that all of the cod that he had was this size and decided to offer me a can drink. I have a picture of the cod but I can't see where to upload it.

Dry chicken, no chips that I ordered. Wanted a lamb doner and meat. Only got Doner. Not happy.

Good hot food, delivered on time.

Worst doner kebab I've ever had. The meat was like plastic. Steer clear.

I am normally happy with the orders but the chips were not freshly fried and the sausage in batter and pies were not great either, like they were just sitting there not fresh. Not sure why the pie packet was slightly open either.

Very nice tasting cod and chips

Never have problems but this time I asked for the half pounder to be plain (just burger and bun) but they put sauce on it so it got ruined. Other than that fantastic food.

Best kebab shop in the area, large portions of freshly cooked food and a fair price. Fish and chips is excellent as well

They’re the best kebab place in South East London in my opinion. The food is excellent, good quality ingredients and prepared well. I used to go often but when I moved I couldn’t anymore and I was so happy to find them on Just Eat!

Worst fish and chips I've had for forty years. Fish greasy with tick tasteless batter and obviously frozen. Chips okay but not good.

Ordered battered sausage, small chips and small cod fish. The chips were absolutely gorgeous and the sausage and fish were just as good. The portions are amazing!

Ordered small fish and chips (portion more like large but not complaining!), battered sausage and curry sauce. Food was steaming hot and tasted great. Have ordered from them before and will order again in the future.

Portion sizes were good, however both the fish and sausage in batter, batter didn't seem like it was in the fryer long enough to go crispy. It was still very soft and oily.

I was missing meal 6 the quarter pounder with cheese chips and drink. I received the drink. I wrote to just eat for a refund but not heard anything. The delivery man was very loud at the top of his voice on the phone not even a hello just handed me the bag. It was gone 22.30 so people would be in bed no consideration. And should people be talking on the phone when they are riding a motorcycle as you could hear him at the top of the street whilst he was riding

The Cod was of a high quality & cooked to perfection. The chips are really nice & they always serve cold bottles of drink. Excellent service. Thank you.

i ordered a large fish and it appears to be a small ive always ordered a large and it is never this small

If I could give 0 stars I would! Usually this place is good but I placed an order recently for delivery and my god it was disgusting! The meat was vile we took a few bites and now we are suffering with what I can 100 percent confirm is food poisoning! Never will I order from this place again! YUK, very disappointed!

A disappointment really, chips were badly undercooked, kebab meat solid but threw most of chips in the bin.

The fish was of a decent quality, the delivery was prompt so my fish and chips were nice and hot so it was certainly cooked to order which was great. The driver was polite and friendly.

Food was all hot We ordered battered sausage which was good We ordered large chips which were great We ordered fillet of chicken burger which looked great but was disgusting. Chicken was awful, could not eat it at all, tasted as if not cooked, could not chew or even cut with a knife. Terrible, complete waste of money.

Perfect requested the skin was removed from the fish and it was. Exactly what i wanted at a resonable price given current market condotions My only critism (which isnt actually a critism) i wish i could of eaten it all in one go but on the plus side i get to enjoy seconds Fantastic food.

The cod was mostly batter and the chilli sauce taste like tomatoe purée. Not to mention the delivery driver knocked on my door, put the food down and just left before anyone got to the door.

Open on a Sunday a bonus and quality of food has always been 10/10. Portion sizes are generous.

Disappointed with my order. The curry sauce was very watery and lacked any flavor, it went into the bin. The sausage in batter was like warm and soggy, not crispy at all. The chips and burger however, were tasty
