Best F&chip shop in Trowbridge. If it’s just for you, don’t make the mistake of ordering more than small chips. Your never eat them all.

The food is always hot and very tasty which is why I go here but the staff and service is above and beyond. Amazing Staff that always treat my children so kindly when at times my children can be abit loud, they always offer the kids a free lollipop whilst we wait. Exceptional people

I will never buy from this shop unfortunately. The owner was very aggressive with me and shouting at me because I parked out side of his shop for 5 mins on a public road. He seams to think he owns the whole road outside his shop and the opposite side puting his hand up like he gonna do something. I could of been a costumer about to go in his shop and order could of been on phone asking my family what thay want but I guess he will never no. Grateful way to get future business NOT

We've been using Frydays for the last 18 months, fish and chips always freshly cooked, staff always welcoming and friendly, best chippy in Trowbridge

Chips were vile seemed like warmed up leftovers if I lived closer I would of took them back the bin enjoyed them

Best fish and chips in Trowbridge.

Without doubt Fry Days make the best fish and chips anywhere. I have been to a lot of fish bars in the last fifty years and i can say hand heart they are the best. The chips come from high grade potatoes so the quality is really good, but more importantly you get a decent sized portion. So many chip bars give you a handful for £4-£6 but here you get a good family sized portion for £4.50. If there are any bad reviews on here they must be pranksters.

Always have great food from Fridays and this week was no exception. Hot and fresh and the portions are great size and battered large cod was very yummy.

Best fish & chips in Trowbridge. Always fresh and hot with lots of choice for all. Chips taste lovely and fish always has tasty crispy batter and moist flaky cod. Battered sausage nice and burger was best my son had had from a chippy. Curry sauce lovely too. Highly recommend 🌟

Staff always friendly , cod is always cooked well n good size. , the large is massive. And if you like way too many chips . This is place to go . 👍👍

Lovely fish and chip shop. The staff are charming and very helpful. I pick up dinner for my parents here as a treat and they can hardly eat the huge OAP portion. Such good quality for an inland shop.

Best fish n chip shop in Trowbrudge. We've never had a bad meal. The cod is white and flaky, the batter crisp and light, perfectly cooked, not at all mushy...and the chips are really good.. cooked fresh. we recommend it. Proportions are large. I don't know how they do it every time. I really hope their business is doing well

Was the best in town... but had some really nasty chips last week, lots of tiny bits, dry hard and cold in seconds. Hoping it was a one off we tried again today. Complained about last week and asked for fresh this time (nicely) they gave us large portions and charged for regular. They were every bit as disgusting as the last lot with a few decent ones dumped on top to look good. Suzanne used to do such a good job. She's lost one of her regulars. We won't be going back. Would have given minus stars if we could!!

Blunt service and food so greasy you'd think they poured extra oil on it instead of vinegar

Food was OK but it took 25 minutes to receive a simple battered sausage and chips.

I have always left here with a smile. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is always amazing. This is one those chip shops where a small chips feeds two easily (you know the kind :)

It's probably the best chippy in Trowbridge.

Always more than willing to accommodate to requests, such as unbattered food items, and will help toward other dietary requirements too!

Just came back from Frydays fish bar. Amazingly cooked fish by the lad and the chips was very well cooked, service was on point, not long too wait. And whilst waiting I got to stare at my favourite animal (dolphins) see you again soon as your right on my doorstep 😁🙂

Oh my gosh, I drove past this evening and called in on the spur of the moment. Soo glad I did! The chips were delicious, as was the fish. Really tasty. The staff are ways so friendly too. Probably the cheapest in Trowbridge too. Fantastic!

Very tasty and a very big portion :) I just found it frustrating that the staff seemed so overwhelmed and couldn't hear me saying my order from a far on multiple occasions ..people are from different backgrounds and have different accents :)) otherwise everything was fantastic .

Rubbish food waited nearly 2 hours for the food kept saying 20mins 20 mins waiting out in the cold and food was not worth it at all greasy undercooked

Good food. BUT....... we waited for well over an hour outside the shop (which doesn’t include the half hour wait we had waited from calling our order through and told our food would be ready). It looked like what could best be described as organised caous inside the shop with how the orders were being managed/processed despite quite a few staff working inside the shop. Something isn’t working with the ordering system, several people got served a lot quicker than us that turned up and ordered in the shop which isn’t right when others have been waiting for a very very long time and there were a number of us outside the shop that had waited an excessive time. Could some signage on the process be displayed in the window and also some consideration on Covid as there were a lot of people in close proximity, some not wearing masks, which isn’t great at the moment whilst the risk is still present and would be quite worrying for vulnerable people. We have been regulars and don’t usually complain about service but this really wasn’t good and we felt let down.

Came here a few weeks ago for Lunch, polite staff & clean shop. Menu was full of items to choose from & the prices were fair. Ordered small chips & small cod... I thought it was a mistake on their behalf as the portions looked to big but it was correct... Definitely value for money & was piping hot & tasted great

So we picked up an order buy my fish was fantastic buy they forgot my chips 😂😂 so i rang them and they were so sincere, i will get free chips next time we'll have to think of a password between us. 🤔

Bad review. I normally go most weekends at work. So regular. The last time I ordered- the chips tasted funny! Me and my friend said something didn’t taste right! The pineapple fritters were under cooked and soggy batter. Not to mention it was dripping in fat. I went back with them and had rude lady accuse me of picking them up too late that’s why they are oily??? Gave me more pineapple fritters which was worse! Tried to explain again and they didn’t believe me! Was incredibly rude! And refused to give me full refund

Large fish was truly large if a little greasy. Medium chips was enough for 3 people tonight but sometime for 2 depending on who serves you. Inconvenient to work out the portions. Either way good value
