Went to the Froth and Rind cafe at the church, 11.30am Saturday morning, the menu is limited but have been told the sausage rolls are very good. There were none left apparently at 1130 Saturday morning. The only other option was a salad which was very tasty but overpriced. The cafe also had no tea available at this time, maybe someone could sort out the supplies or pop down to the local shop for teabags.

Small cafe selling - as the name suggests - a range of cheeses as well as coffee and locally produced beers, jams etc. It is reasonably priced and there is a good range of goods on offer. Visited with a friend recently at about 2.30pm and we weren't aware that it closed at 4pm. Unfortunately his meant that from about 3.15 we were raising our voices to try to talk above the noise of extensive vacuum cleaning, crockery being stacked in the dishwasher, and furniture being brought in from outside and stacked. It wasn't very relaxing and definitely put us off ordering a second round of drinks as we were given the impression that we were about to be kicked out at any moment. The cafe is really not large so perhaps the vacuuming could wait until the customers have left?

Sometimes there are queues which means you might have to wait quite a long time to be served, and the queue managing was a bit brusque. A bit on the expensive side as well, but the toasties are so tasty! They seem to have had an issue with stock recently.

I've visited this place a handful of times and they do a lovely cheese toasty. Before having a baby I would come in occasionally with my partner and have a warm and welcome experience. Unfortunately, after having a baby and coming in my experience has not been the same. I have felt that the staff almost seem automatically annoyed when they see a buggy and the reception from them has been quite cold. I am very conscious of the fact that buggies and screaming babies can be annoying and always try my best to make life easy for staff and customers around me as many other mums do but as so many people bringing custom to this establishment are mums this seems a little sad that this is the attitude towards them - and I know this hasn't just happened to me. I hope to visit froth and rind again but not if I feel unwanted or treated differently from other child free customers.

Cheese toasties are amazing and the atmosphere is very cosy. Its not expensive at all, I spend less than £10 on a coffee, cheese toasty and Italian pastry.

This is our favourite stop after our grandson's football training. Staff are really friendly and there is a great selection of drinks, cakes, toasties, croissants etc. Our grandson loves his hot chocolate. (There is also a great selection of craft beers and wines). The menu board is also a great read and always makes us smile. If you are in the Village don't walk past, drop in for a warm welcome.

Cheese on toast you say - boring you say... Not at Froth & Rind - they have found ways to deliver cheese on toast that will have your mouth watering as you walk in the door. You'll probably not be able to leave without buying some cheese to take home - and do have one of their coffees - best on the street.

We popped in for a coffee with our grandson. Staff were very friendly and after looking at the menu we decided to go with one of the toasties on offer. The food was good as was the coffee. Its baby/child friendly with a good menu. Overall a really great place to stop off at for drinks and food.

This is a cozy café, has really lovely atmosphere with kindest member of staff. They also have quite tasty food and great coffee. All of this is possible with reasonable prices. Their dog-friendliness is also quite a plus for dogs and their friends

Visited with some friends from Manchester a few weeks ago and was recommended here for lunch. Got the Roger chedderer and a coffee. Toastie was a very good indulgent treat and price was £8. Would definitely go again

Dropped into Froth and Rind as I had received a positive recommendation. It was worth the trip to the end of the Victoria Line and out from the immediate Town Centre. It is difficult these days for coffee bars/cafes to differentiate themselves from each other but I believe that Froth and Rind has been able to achieve that difference. The decor is a sort of shabby chic come quirky and the personalities of the staff seem to be reflected in the place through humour and warmth of service. The place was fairly full when I was there showing its popularity to mainly locals, I suspect. I enjoyed the two flat whites - better than I usually get elsewhere and served at my preferred temperature. The emmental and chorizo toastie was over-flowing with flavour and the wholemeal sourdough very tasty. I also bought some of the cheeses on display which were reasonably priced. The staff were happy for me to sample them before I purchased. I hope to return in the near future.

Delicious toasties! And love the shrub vinegar drinks too. Room to sit even during Saturday lunchtime. Good coffee and beers. Want to come back to try the range of cheeses properly!

Delicious cheese toasties, friendly staff, quiet atmosphere. The classical music was a big plus! I had the "raclette there be love" with raclette and serrano ham. The other cheese toasties have equally amusing and punny names!

This place should be great. It purports to be hip but somehow the atmosphere coffee and snack don't really cut the mustard.

Froth and Rind is a small delicatessen-style eatery in a pedestrianised street of other restaurants and little shops in Walthamstow. It is very close to the free and very good Vestry House Museum and we found it by chance and were delighted to have done so. A particular delight was the coffee, which was from a specific provider and really did taste different and delicious. We were looking for a light lunch and for £15 for two we had a salad each, with anchovy and olive cheese tarts, a really pleasant cookie and the coffee which we enjoyed so much. At 12am on Sunday the lunchers were out in force, and soon nearly every table was taken although people moved on quite quickly and had their tables taken by others. A rating of 5 for Hygiene was fully justified and the staff were efficient and friendly, especially to the very young children whose parents had brought them in in the knowledge that they would be welcomed.

So happy this place opened up round the corner from where we live. My husband and I pop in regularly for the most divine cheese toasties and a glass of wine or some of the best coffee in the area. Run by 3 really sweet local guys who are friendly and welcoming and just a really lovely little place to hang out.

This place has some seriously great cheese.Had some "Londonshire" a Brie from Tottenham the other day-one of the best cheeses I've had in a while-very stinky! Also some red goats cheese-not seen that before. They also do coffee beans and a range of bottled ales and at at least one on draught.

Finally Froth&Rind has a tripadvisor so I can leave my review. I visit this place a lot. I unfortunately can't have cow's milk but they always have a great selection of goat and sheep cheeses. I can't begin to imagine how nice their cows cheeses are! If I'm not getting my cheese from here, or having a cheese toastie, they do really nice coffee too. I love popping in for a quick takeaway coffee from this place. And so do many others! They also have a choice of sandwiches, crepes, cheese boards and beers. And all as much local as possible, and UK at the least. They work closely with other local bakeries and shops. And last but not least, they are a really lovely bunch of guys with great customer service. Worth a visit!

Last evening we went as a group friends 9 in total to the restaurant. The quality and the quantity of food was poor. When we complained to one of the member of stuff, asking to see the manager or chef, no one came to us to explain or apologise! Definitely Won't go back ever again. ☹
