Food was nice but the cafe was untidy and tables were dirty not wiped and trays with rubbish not cleared away. Maybe better to visit when not so busy

This is one of my favourite places for coffee. Everyone is so friendly and knows you by name. Big shout out to Ellie who makes the best coffee. Highly recommend this place 👍🏻

Pedí un pollo con fideos Pho. Los fideos eran duros y la sopa no tenía sabor. Casi 7 libras por una sopa y una botella de agua. No vendré otra vez.

Esto es genial. Buena comida y excelente personal. Mi única crítica es que sirven comida en cajas cuando estás comiendo. Parece un desperdicio innecesario

One time I bought a yogurt with oats from the fridge, I couldn't eat it because it tasted stale. Another time, I bought a cookie from the front counter, and she picked a cookie which was old, it wasn't the first cookie on the top of the pile, it was second down and I was deliberately given an stale Cookie from yesterday's stock or older? The produce isn't cheap neither. For the price, everything should be freshly cooked or prepared on the day.

Highly recommend the halloumi wrap, it’s delicious! Staff are always very friendly and helpful. I have several food allergies ranging from mild to severe, the staff at Friska are fantastic and they seem very careful about cross-contamination so if you have food allergies, it’s a great place for a quick bite!

I popped in for lunch with a colleague, I chose one of the hot boxes. Red Thai curry with rice and an Asian salad. The salad was fresh and nice lots of edamame beans. You order and pay at the till, the staff were friendly taking my name and called out when the food was ready. The thai curry was was all fresh and enjoyable, though I would have preferred a little more chicken. There is a water refill station, so you can easily help yourself to tap water. There is also a loyalty app that you can load on your phone. You Have to buy a lot of lunches (20) to get a free lunch.

I tried here again today after a bad experience and to be Frank the food Is awful. I had the signature potatoes, that just tasted like old chip fat... And the thai chicken curry.. I would Probably describe more of a water chestnut and ginger curry going off the meat ratio. I've never seen ginger cut so big, the chicken pieces were smaller! Such ashame that's its not improving

Nice enough but was overpriced for the portion size. Quarter of an avocado and a few pieces of smoked salmon. Staff are polite and friendly.

Struggled to find veggie / vegan food so ended up here, it’s ok the staff at least are very helpful, we found it a tad pricey but all in all edible stuff. Toilets on both occasions we popped in within 3 days of each other were out of order so not the best but guess can’t be helped. All in all ideal little pop in cafe.

Friska is the cafe in St Peter's Square right next to the new Emmeline Pankhurst Statue - well worth a visit for that reason alone! Over the last few months I have spent lots of time here meeting contacts in relation to the statue and all of them a. loved it. b. didn't realise it was there. My friend Henry introduced me to the cortado here- i thoroughly recommend this as a small but powerful coffee. The lunch bowls are also worth investigating. I can't honestly say that I always know exactly what I'm eating but they are tasty. And Friska is moderately priced.

Lovely place with really friendly staff and amazing filter coffee which was ridiculously cheap for the quality (£1 !!!). Had a look at the menu, and will definitely be coming back at the weekend for brunch!

Loved this place as a student. Chilled atmosphere, large range of cheap tasty cocktails and great for food like burgers, chilli and loaded fries. Somewhere I could take my parents for food in the day and have drinks at night with mates.

Had an 'Afternoon Tea' voucher as a present, and went into Manchester deliberately for a day out and to enjoy this. Shutters were down and empty.

Half filled cups that were expensive. No bin handy at the sitting area. Went as train was delayed, but I will just wait at the platform next time.

A small courtyard area with picnic tables, a couple of small catering vans on site one sells food the other coffee, public toilets available and a watering place for dogs. It is a very popular place and can get very busy.
