Went for breakfast this morning had to queue at counter for good 15 minutes to order Girl on till was slow and folding receipts was more important than taking the orders Wait another 25/30 mins for breakfast although it was only half full Breakfast was good quality spoilt by the waiting around Had no drinks left by time we got meal didn’t fancy the queue again So wouldn’t venture back again such a shame

£7 for a bacon sandwich, if you want an egg that's £1.40 extra. Absolute pee take. How ever is that fair or even cost effective for a struggling town.

Excellent quality, very reasonable price of £20 for 2 breakfasts with a loyalty card. Highly recommend, never heard of this place before but it is a little gem.

I have visited a couple of times now and really recommend. Food is freshly cooked and served. Service was quick even though the cafe was busy. The staff were polite and accommodating, especially as we had not booked a table. Will be returning.

Have always enjoyed eating here but this time was very poor. One of my group found a long hair in their Tuna sandwich. Probably from the girl making the sandwiches not wearing any hair net or hat. The chef came and spoke to us and apologised and offered a refund for this meal which was appreciated though. The serving staff throughout our visit just did not appear to care. Chips tasted like they had been cooked in old fat. Generally a disappointing experience so now unlikely to return. Such a shame.

We purchased from the deli next door and was hoping for the same quality in the cafe. Unfortunately this was not the case. The food was average and the used tables full of crockery from previous customers. The menu is mainly breakfast baps, which we felt were overpriced. it's convenient for the A12 if enroute to somewhere, but we would not make a special trip.

Disappointing. If you’re going to sell a scone for £5, it had better be one spectacular specimen. This one was dense, bready and hardened by too long a warm-up in the microwave. Might have been better halve and toasted. Considering how good the farm and fish shops are, and the fact that this is probably Suffolk’s most expensive scone, this was a let-down.

Excellent food at a fair price which keeps the rabble at bay.£11 for a cheese sandwich salad and crisps from the right sort of waitress staff who send the lesser mortals packing. After all you dont need all that interbreeding interfering with proper customers. Shame about the chef still he gets off on being the cock amongst the hens. Basically an overrated cafe. One to avoid The comments above clearly show and represent thisplace.

Popped in to grab a coffee, won’t bother again! Massively over priced for a very sub standard coffee! Staff weren’t engaging at all

Friday Street Farm Shop and Cafe (just off the A12 at the Aldeburgh turning) have been established for several years, but has developed and extended really well recently. As well as a very good little cafe serving coffee and food, there is an amazing farm shop with a butchery, deli, cheese room, fruit, veg, pickles, oils etc. etc. Adjacent there is a fishmongers and smokehouse. In season, there is PYO soft fruit. The only thing which really lets the site down is a truly awful old barn of 'collectables', which contains the biggest amount of complete tat, most of which would be better off in the municipal tip.

After my brother and myself visited many care homes and being a carer in one myself I knew that Alice care home was the one. The manager Rachel gave us a tour and was very impressed with her openness and honesty and said her door is always open. On the day of moving our mother who has Alzheimer’s in we were both so nervous how our mum would be. However we needn’t of worried, as our mum was provided with lunch and introduced to other residents while we unpacked her belongings. The activities lead Penny and carer Emily literally couldn’t have been so kind and welcoming which made the transition smooth. It understandably took our mother a little while to settle which is to be expected but the staff were so supportive and caring to us all which reassured us. Everyone of the staff are wonderful and carers Mary-Beth and Jay have both been fantastic. We are so grateful and happy that our mum is in a safe and beautiful home and is being treated with dignity and respect. The activities and facilities are both excellent and my mum says in her own words “everyone here are just so lovely and I’m really happy here” Well done Alice Grange and thank you. Lynn and Stephen

We called intending to have lunch, nobody welcomed us, we sat down and were ignored. Waitress passed us four times. Eventually I asked and was told we had to order at the counter in a narrow space by the door. I said some information signs would be helpful. I was passed two menu's without any apologies by I presume the owner? We decided not to stay and had a lovely lunch in Gobbitts yard. In fairness the food being served looked ok but the customer service? Sadly lacking.

Its a McDonalds so atmosphere is what it is. The food was ok, service when busy lacks a little to be honest.

Sunny morning on lovely outdoor terrace. Scrambled eggs on toast plentiful, perfect, fresh crisp side salad. Generous . Toasted currant teacake. All toasted perfectly. Staff always lovely. Been many times for beers when staying at sands. First time we ate here today and will definitely we eating brekkie here every day later in 2025 when we stay over a few days. Oh yes and the teapots are cute.
