No acknowledgment from staff at all at the takeaway counter , literally ignored us . So we went next door to Taylor’s . Much better service .

Lovely view of the water, well positioned. Not convinced the scone was homemade (didn’t claim to be but guess we hoped they would be) but still tasty, both drinks we had were good and quick and friendly service.

Kids running the place. Have no conception of how people live or have a good time unless you are 18 or under.

If I could review with no stars I would. Extremely rude barista who prioritises cafe orders over takeaways, we waited over 20 minutes after they'd taken our money. More staff needed if you want to receive more positive comments.

I don't think it is feasibly possible for me to give enough of a glowing review for this wonderful place. We were originally attracted to this place because it had a dog friendly sign and it was our furry companions 1st Gotcha day. Not only were the staff extremely friendly but also gave us a bowl of water for our pup. The prices were more than back home but I always expect as such when ordering at the seaside where the fish is fresher. Well, when the food arrived we were taken aback. The portions were stupendous. However, I am always about substance over sizes and I have to say, the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside, they were delicious. Then, there's the fish. It was humongous and it was practically glowing a wonderful golden colour. The batter was crispy but not hard and not oily, you cannot ask for better there. The actual fish itself was so perfectly soft and cloud like that I wouldn't have even needed teeth to eat it. The taste was just fantastic. Our pup thought so too! I, foolishly, with bigger eyes than my stomach, ordered a side order of onion rings. The onion rings were so fresh and crispy and juicy. I am ashamed to say I couldn't finish them, but they did come home with me! After that, we had dessert, they were out of ice cream but very kindly went to their sister shop and brought us some. I cannot think of anything else to ask for from an eating experience. The staff were warm and welcoming and apologetic for us having to wait for the ice cream. When it only took 5 minutes. We will absolutely be coming back! Tldr: Massive portions, delicious food, friendly staff and dog friendly.

Absolute perfect from the friendliness of the staff to the absolute quality of the food everything was perfect and so fast. Also dog friendly! We ordered ice cream and they were out but they went out of their way to go to their other restaurant and get us some. We will definitely make this a regular stop when we visit scarborough.

Had a small breakfast and a normal breakfast. Both ok but very stingy on the bacon with just the oval bit. Food was also warm, not hot, except for the beans. Orange juice fine, hot chocolate good (not too sweet) coffee ok ( not a lot of depth.) Trying to order on the app not good as promised 'code' never arrived. Why have lots of signs promoting cash payment, alonside lots of signs promoting QR code ordering and payment by phone?

Rubbish service. How long to get two coffees? Flipping ages. Don’t order using the table QR code as they don’t seem to realise they’ve got an order 🤷‍♂️

I never usually review anything on google, but I left this establishment so disappointed I thought the need to do so.. The service here was good and all the staff were absolutely lovely! The waitresses and the bar staff couldn’t do enough for us. However The food.. absolutely awful, we spent £38 (6 tapas dishes between 2 as recommended) when the food came we were surprised at the portion sizes, for tapas they were huge! Our lovely waitress even wished us good luck, which we presumed was because of the amount of food… Not the fact that it was a culinary abomination. Unfortunately much of the food was literally inedible, the chicken wings were visibly burnt (at first glance I thought it was a spicy coating as I ordered the spicy wings) and literally tasted like burnt mush upon biting into them. The salt and pepper chicken strips were so well done they were impossible to chew, I could hardly eat any of them. The tempura prawns, although hot had a really horrible soapy like taste, something I had never experienced before The patatas bravas were basically frozen tater tots swimming in a very bland tomato sauce. The meatballs looked ok but were completely tasteless, upon cutting into them they looked really anaemic yet really well done on the exterior.. The tandoori chicken however was actually very nice, but the 5 small pieces of chicken amongst all that food for nearly £40 was all that was actually edible/palatable. I did complain to staff who offered to replace the food but we didn’t want more of the same, our stomachs had been turned by what we had been given. I’m not sure what award the acclaimed “award winning chef” was given.. our award would be then quickest meal ever abandoned.. We visit Scarborough twice yearly and we will never ever frequent this establishment again. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

We had delicious fish and chips, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and professional. We had a great time and will go again soon!

WORST FISH & CHIPS OF MY LIFE Absolutely awful. Me and my partner came eager to have some local fish and chips by the seaside and were throughly disappointed. Portion was sooo tiny for £15!!!! No peas/mushy peas/tartar sauce and fish was barely even battered. Was like a kids portion. Not worth the extortionate price.

Bloody awful..... Surly and rude member of staff who see's customers as a annoyance to him.... Toilets were an absolute disgrace and obviously hadn't been cleaned for a good while as the same sand and mud was smeared all over the floor and sink 2 days in a row. Can't speak for all the staff some of them might be lovely but the one I encountered just shouldn't work with the public as it is obviously such a burden to him.

Poor service - tables not cleaned, had to ask for various stuff , bacon and sausage anaemic, wrap poor size with no cheese and breakfast with no tomatoes so double beans !!! Such a shame . Train your staff!!!! Never go back with an empty tray - basic stuff

Staying in Scarborough North shore close to Salt Water cafe bar. Had beer,wine and coffee there and pizza. Awesome. Pizza was huge!!! We had it with a bottle of wine £39.00 Great value for a sea front restaurant. It was a great tasty pizza. We had the meat feast. The food was hot and came with a bottle of wine. Me and the wife are staying locally and been there 3 times. Once for beer, once for food and wine plus had take out coffee n the beach. We’re come back tonight for pizza and wine!!!

Could only order thru a a QR code, said wasn't available to order at 12:00, staff were completely disinterested and was unable to speak to a human. Left after 10 mins without ordering a faceless café and went to the Watermark Café which was excellent and very personable. It's ironic that they had signs asking people to pay in cash as they were a small local business but you could only pay through the portal. Terrible place

very deceiving.. looks absolutely wonderful from a distance, the coffee was lovely however, the food came out stone cold and i couldn’t even cut through 3/5 of my pancakes as they were so hard. full english - egg was like rubber and bacon was full of fat, again very cold overall tasted like cold processed food, wouldn’t recommend to anyone (even a dog)

Staying at the Sands. Thought it a good idea to get breakfast as this place is at ground floor of the apartments. Unfortunately pretty rubbish. Bacon didn't look like it had seen a pan or griddle, was hardly cooked. Tastless and they couldn't even remember to add the brown sauce that was ordered. Shall not be giving them any of my money in the future.

First visited yesterday for lunch and then this morning for breakfast. Great food and service both times, vegetarian options thought about not just an afterthought. Clean and really attentive staff, will definitely be back when we are next in Scarborough!

We are locals and this cafe on North Bay is one of our favourites. This morning we were meeting up with a close friend who had travelled down from Scotland yesterday. We recommended the Saltwater to him as a nice place to meet. We ordered some drinks and chose a table outside to have a catch up. However it was difficult to have a proper conversation (without shouting) because of the loud music blaring out of an outside speaker. We asked nicely if the music could be turned down a little. We were rather shocked by the rude and dismissive attitude of the female member of staff who said she was in charge in the absence of the Manager and the Owner and that it was not possible to turn the music down. She suggested that if we didn’t like it we should go elsewhere! It was doubly disappointing as we know and like the owner. We mentioned this but it made no difference. Sorry Luke. Bought coffees for my family yesterday the best we have had in a long time especially the flat white,I definitely recommend and will be returning pleasant staff too.

Came here on a very rainy day in Scarborough. The staff were great, attentive and helpful. The food was unfortunately a real disappointment, the Mac & cheese lacked real flavour (a nice crust would have been nice, too) and the fish was not fresh - unfortunately 3 people in the group with the fish dinner had to leave the majority of their meal. Shame.

Waited over 40 minutes for our lunch and when we got it it was awful .Very disappointed. They ask for you to pay cash but when we went to pay wouldn't take our Scottish money .Avoid .!!!

Unfortunately not a great experience, I try not to leave negative feedback. We complained to the manager but don't feel she really listened to us. So had to right this review. Our side salads were not fresh at all, lettuce was browning on the edges..The waitress did change a salad, then we realised we should have had coleslaw, but this was missing...I had a jacket potato with a vegetarian 3 bean chilli, the chilli was nice but the potato wasn't properly cooked on the inside so couldn't eat it...very disappointed especially as its £10.50....We asked to speak to the manager, then waited over 10mins she didn't turn up, I finally went to look for her... She just seemed to agree with me and was quite non concerned but did refund one of the meals. Hopefully in the long term good quality fresh food will be served.

This is, by far, our favourite cafe in Scarborough. The staff are lovely and they serve the best coffee in Scarborough. We eat here a lot and never been disappointed. Our little dog is made so very welcome. Highly recommend.

It takes a lot for me to write a review but our experience this weekend was really poor. We ordered our breakfast and the bacon (on my eggs and bacon benedict) was barely cooked ans quite fatty, yet the eggs were solid throughout... i could almost forgive this though as places do cook bacon differently and after stripping the bacon of the large amount of fat it was at least edible...my husbands breakfast however was incorrect and tasteless.. to the point he couldn't eat it. He asked for avocado on toast with eggs, when it arrived it was just avocado tomatoes and onions on toast and when he spoke to the waitress she was really rude and just said eggs were not on the order. Even though he had asked for them. This place has the potential to be amazing because of its setting but given our latest experience I'm not sure I would want to attend again. I thought it might just be a one off but after looking online I'm really surprised at how many negative reviews this place gets especially about rude staff... and yet nothing seems to be changing. I'm sure if this was my business I would spend less time responding to other people's reviews and trying to justify the type of service that they received, and I'd put a bit more effort into improving the basics of customer service. I don't think it would take much.

No orders being taken at midday! Left waiting for 15 minutes before being asked if I was being served. Poor service will be reviewed. No menus available on tables. Asked for omelette - couldn't have that because it was on breakfast menu and I was too late to order from breakfast menu. Asked for lunch menu only to be told breakfast started late so lunch orders weren't being served for another 20 minutes! An open cafe/restaurant not taking any food orders! No wonder the place was virtually empty and people were leaving having not ordered anything. One couple were struggling to order a coffee. Took my business elsewhere - certainly won't return to this cafe/restaurant. With the attitude I received from staff and eventually the owner, I'm surprised it's still in business. UPDATE: If you are still considering eating at this establishment - see the response from the owner 😂. Do not consider this establishment at all - the owner is clearly angry and does not take genuine criticism well. I do get out a lot and businesses have to be either exceptional or really bad to inspire me to review and this establishment is one of the worst I've ever visited. I'm not the only reviewer that the owner has ranted at in response to a negative review. It's definitely the right cafe/restaurant I reviewed. I was not confused. I should have gone next door - in all likelihood I would have actually been served! I tried to order food at 12.00 noon right at the start of the lunch ordering window and was told by the waitress that due to breakfast serving starting late, I'd have to wait 20 minutes for the lunch slot to start! No menus were available or obvious. The owner needs to sort out his attitude and his rude staff instead of blaming potential customers who can't get served. If he had genuinely bothered checking his CCTV, he'd have noticed potential customers being ignored by his staff and then leaving without ordering food and/or drinks. I was more impressed with the cafe I found elsewhere where the staff actually had customer service skills 😄. Luke, you've lost some more business. I won't be recommending your establishment as a place to dine and I certainly won't be back! I've circulated your response 😄.

We didn't eat here so cannot comment on the food however we did have a pretty bad experience trying to eat here. We ( 2 adults, 2 children and 1 disabled OAP ) went to sit outside. There were two other people outside drinking coffee. My mother sadly cannot walk and we couldn't fit on a table due to her disability so we tried to move two tables together. We were told we cannot do that due to it being a safety hazard. It was quite confusing as we were not moving the tables to obstruct anyone but I respect the safety first aspect of any establishment. I tried to explain that my mother is disabled and the staff member was curt and quite rude. To the point that the couple drinking coffee commented on her attitude as did a passer by as it was quite embarrassing and my mother was visibly upset. I wonder if you could look at your policies and see if any adaptation can be made to make it more suitable for people with disabilities? It's so important to be inclusive to everyone. We did have a fantastic meal next door though so it could have been worse!

Called in for a drink . Waited at bar . Told to take a seat as it was table service. Then the queue at the bar was getting served and we were still waiting really odd and dissapointing set up.

Lots of vegan options, brilliantly dog friendly, lovely staff, and great views. Staff brought my dog a bowl of water and some dog treats :)

Called yesterday with a friend, the views from upstairs are great. The tide was out and you could see people walking, running and jogging along the beach. I had a black coffee and my friend a one shot latte. Our order has as taken quickly and our coffees and toasted teacakes arrived promptly. Saltwater is the only cafe i know of that gives you a tiny.pot of jam to go with your toasted teacakes The coffee served was full of flavour. Well done. It was popular yesterday with people & young families.

I was quite surprised how good the food was. I had Prawns in garlic oil Spanish tapas style with. Nice side salad and cipatta bread. Daughter had sausage and chips and the miss had mushroom soup that she really liked. Nice location with a good view of the sea.

Went into restaurant...got sat on a tiny table between two fridges. Waited over 30 minutes without evening being handed a menu. Walked out in the end. No other chippies were able to accommodate us so we went back to this one to get take out instead. Ordering took an age. Then Waited 30 minutes for our food. Service is ridiculously slow. Cold chips and soggy battered sausage. If i could give this place minus points I would.

don’t ever go here!!!!! rudest of staff , we ordered of just eat took our payment, said was delivered which wasn’t when we rang they said they weren’t even doing just eat! waste of time going in didn’t give us what we ordered!! don’t waste your time here the only reason we went here was because the regal was shut! there are far better places to go, i’d rather go hungry then ever go to such a rude business

Had the breakfast hash this morning which includes potatoes, chorizo, peppers and onions in a tomato sauce and I can honestly say it's one of the tastiest meals, breakfast or otherwise I've had in a long time. Very nice, friendly staff. I will be visiting again and thoroughly recommend

We went in for drinks only. On arrival, one man was handing his uneaten meal back stating that he no longer had time to eat it. This should have been our warning. We seated ourselves and the waitress just kept walking past our table without even acknowledging that we were there. She took the order of a table who came in after us and we all had to shout her over to get our order placed. The drink did arrive promptly but the Cappuccino was tepid at best. Other drinks exactly the same. A table of three behind us, all ordered food together. Two members had finished their meals and the third member had to ask twice for his food. It was toe curlingly embarrassing service 🫣

Really disappointed to receive a hot chocolate that was less than luke warm. I asked for a teaspoon and never got one. People sat near us were experiencing other issues. Meals not received when others on the same table/family has their food. Other cold drinks being served and no cutlery offered. Poor service all round. Won’t return.

Called in for drinks good table service quick and efficient. Nice coffee and tea ideal outside if you have a dog 🐕 outside area covered by 2 large parasols with heaters under ideal for all year round

Hello, we came with 7 people and 1 baby and we ordered on 2 separate tables by the time we finished the second table the first order was literally on our table including drinks and starters honestly very very fast service and it was at a busy period too the food was very good and this cafe deserve more praise then it's gets it's really good & has great staff members. Slow day so can't book a table. End of season so they are closed. All other cafe and bar places are open. You lost out on our money this week.

We visited on a whim as had a prime location. We were sat outside and order was taken quickly after some confusion with menus. We noticed that there were seats free inside, and being with a toddler we were getting quite hot in the summer heat and asked if we could move inside. We were told we were not able to move until our seats arrived. This made no sense whatsoever. Food arrived however indoor seats had been taken by this point. Food was ok. I had a simple chicken curry which was nice enough. My partner's salad arrived with no dressing so we were required to ask for it. This then arrived separately. Our son had the kids Mac and cheese... This was awful. While the position is nice, the food is mediocre at best. The service also needs work.

Evening (table booked for 6 pm) menu depleted as they had a "very busy day". e.g. Only 2 burgers left and 1 pizza! Service was very poor as the waitress seemed too busy to attend to us and answer questions about what was available even though we were the only party there! We left.......hungry and frustrated. Don't eat here.

The night we visited we didn't book as there was no option to do so. There were seats available outside (it had rained so probably cleared out the outdoor seats and hadn't filled back up). When we popped our heads in there was one lady in front of the house, clearly very harried with large parties upstairs, she had no tables inside but said could accommodate outside but food would be delayed and to let her know of we were going to want food. Sign at the bar said only takeaway orders at the bar, but some people were ordering there to eat outside. Subsequently a younger waitress came outside and took orders. No gluten free pizza bases available (one of the main reasons we visited). Ordered the gluten free fish & chips, 2 regular pizzas and 1 pizza with vegan cheese. Waitress was friendly, helpful & apologetic when one of the items was delayed coming out with the others. Sadly the gluten free fish and chips was not good. Chips were cold & tastes a bit like oven chips that weren't quite cooked. The fish wasn't great and sadly my husband felt unwell afterwards suggesting there might have been some contamination. The pizzas were very floury and I'd have said undercooked. We had sweet chicken wings and they were tasteless. All round it's not a place we'd return to for more than drinks on the terrace I think. It could have been they were having a bad day/evening, but they only got the 2 stars due to the waitress that eventually served us being so good.

We didn't have a good experience here. We tried to ask for a table after waiting patiently in the queue at the bar, but the woman working seemed rushed off her feet and didn't want to deal with us (and it felt like she didn't want us to stay, telling us there would be a wait for food if we decided to sit down). We didn't mind waiting and fortunately another couple of staff turned up a little later, things seemed a little calmer and we placed an order. Unfortunately the food was not great. With the fish and chips, the chips were cold. I'm not sure if they'd been reheated or been in the fryer too long, or what, but they were more like crisps or scraps, just crunchy and not warm. The pizzas were not very nice. One of our party didn't receive their food until much later. We were waiting, but with no sign of it appearing and chips already cold we started eating and a couple had nearly finished their pizzas by the time the third one turned up. The staff apologised as they brought it over, which was appreciated. Just not a great experience and won't be going back.

The gluten free fish was not gluten free and the pizza's was expeshaly floury and not nice

Sat down outside, immediately looked after by very friendly waiter. He took our order of a coffee and breakfast sandwich. Food and drink served within 15 mins. Coffee was fantastic and the sandwich was tasty too. Would definitely come back.

The young lad with black hair and sunglasses served us at the ice-cream stand needs to learn some customers service. He may have been having a bad day and that's understandable however he was rude and miserable and I felt like me and my sister annoyed him just by being there. All we did was politely ask for an ice-cream.

Had takeaway fish and chips today and can honestly say one of the best I have ever had. The fish was great and curry sauce was a probably the best I have had.

I paid £12.95 for a burger that came out cold. And the chips were limp almost oven style undercooked texture. I mentioned it to a member of staff who said he would “pass it on” but no apology of offer of refund or gesture of any kind. The others in our party had fish and scampi which came out hot but their chips were awful too. There was a concert on at the Open air theatre but there were plenty of empty tables upstairs and the queue to order food wasn’t long so no excuses for serving a cold burger

Could not recommend more to book this space out for a party or a do, the hospitality shown was unmatched, really efficient but really kind and welcoming. The food was great! Fish and chips was definitely a highlight, i’d recommend to anyone visiting Scarborough to visit this sea side gem.

Looked lovely from the outside and welcomed dogs too...ordered chicken burger and beef burger...we had to pay up front too🤔🤔..waitress came back to say no chicken burger today so I changed to scampi. She then came back to say no beef burgers either! My husband changed to fish and chips. ..wasnt a long wait to be fair..however my scampi was poor...a good portion of chips however some were warm and some where cold..8 pieces of scampi...that was it! Looked pathetic on the plate. I asked if I could have vinegar and tartare sauce. .yes to vinegar but a charge for the sauce...no explanation as to why my chips were a mix of warm and not so warm...she did offer to change but we were so hungry I couldn't sit and wait. I wouldn't eat in there again and if The Watermark across the road hadn't been busy then we wouldn't have even tried it. Lesson learnt! Now I know why they wanted paying up front.

The staff here are so friendly, and the service was quick. We only had coffees and a cakes, so can't comment on the food but the coffee was very good, scone was homemade and Rocky road tasty. Our dog was welcome, and we had a wonderful view of the bay from our table.

Went here Saturday evening me and my stepdaughter decided we wanted a night walk along the north bay . Decided we'd try salt water after living here nearly 2 years . And only trying the place next door . Well I can honestly say this place was amazing the food was beautiful I only had a margerita pizza but it was top notch and the daughter loved her garlic bread to . The waitress was lovely never got her name but she was very polite and friendly amd helpful. No doubt we'll be back as its become her favourite place to eat .

The overall experience is a 4 out of 5 the main letdown being the price its a little steep I understand things have gone up in price but £14 for a pizza is a little high and £8 for a cocktail I could barley taste alcohol in is meh. The waitress was lovley and helpful on the other hand and the food was nice that came with it I had a pepperoni pizza and it was packed with cheese and not many pepperonis I must admit to add to that they where a bit small. The pizza was cooked lovley though I must admit. The waitress bought my cocktail over in record time I must admit maybe a little to quick? I tasted barley any alcohol in it.

Overall was very nice, I had the burger, my wife and son had prawn sandwich which was abit on the small side would recommend grabbing a side of chips if your hungry, my 5 year daughter had a child's fish and chip which was superb very large portion and the fish was very fresh. Service was very good and quick turn around in the food Price wise is about on par with neighbouring businesses. Would probably visit again. Like I say overall was very good.

Called here 15th June, we were the first people in at 9am, seated upstairs and was pleased to see they had air-conditioning. I have very serious food allergies, this was not a problem for our waitress (think she ws called Angie) she was a star. Coffee and food was great, I had a bacon sandwich, the others had a full breakfast and one pot hash. They all enjoyed every bit of it. We will definately go back.

Friendly Staff from beginning and the Food was excellent. The price is a little bit higher then in the city but you exactly on the beach. One thing annoyed me, our waiter was smoking right by the Café. When she was ready , she don't wash the hands and come directly to our table for the drinks......sorry a no go!

Food delivered to your table in takeaway packaging, detracting from the experience. Overall unpleasant, expensive and never to be repeated. The final moment to leave was when the manager brought across some more chairs and started to seat another couple at our table, we left at that point as this made us so uncomfortable and uneasy. Definitely not a place to go for a meal and a drink, there are better places less expensive, not so overcrowded, more attentive staff and generally better value. I am certainly not a lier, my review is an accurate description of the experience, it was definitely a male member of staff wearing one of your polo shirts who placed the extra chairs and another couple to our table after asking me to move in a little.

Nice little place, good food, reasonably priced and right on the beach. Latté was lovely and the fish goujon and brie and bacon ciabattas were amazing. Was a little busy when we got there so had to wait a little while for just the menu to arrive at the table but staff were friendly none the less

The service was friendly (though not super quick). The food was tasty but not world changing.

Great Food, Decent Service, Good Location. Loud music from the bar after 9pm spoilt the ambience of the restaurant. Either partition the restaurant better for later in the evening or don't have the music as loud, its not a club. That said, I would definitely recommend the food and service.

Three of us ate but two didn't particularly enjoy their meals. One had eaten much nicer fish & chips in other restaurants and the other person thought her moussaka may have been microwaved. The cheese topping was so hard it was difficult to get her knife through it. My pizza was fine and I appreciated being able to order it from the bar menu although we were eating in the dining area, as I wanted the smaller size. One other point - when I went to the Ladies, I had to try 4 cubicles. One had no lock, one had a lock that didn't work and one had a very wonky seat. The hand drier didn't work & packets of paper towels were sat in between the sinks. I had only just come into the restaurant and I felt it didn't give a good impression. It looked a bit shabby. I have been here a few times before but not for a couple of years and felt overall it was not as good as in the past. Neither friend said they would visit again.

Generally it was ok. The food was of a decent standard and the staff friendly but the restaurant was empty and the outside area was just dreary...rows of black tables and concrete slabs with a pile of rubbish in the corner. It needed lighting and plants. This was the first time we'd eaten here and it confirmed that Saltwater is still more of a late night bar with an outdoor smoking area than a restaurant.

Disappointed that the online menu was not available in the restaurant. Wider steak chonce was expected. Update your website!! Service and food however was great.

I am sad that I didn't ask the barmans name but did thank him sincerely for his help & advice. He made it a perfect start to our pre theatre meal & relaxation.

Went for a bite before going to the cinema, bar food menu was good value, food was tasty & good service, although the waitress did seem to hover a lot, not sure if that was because we were the only group in the restaurant or she thought we would do a runner!

We arrived at 7.30 and the place empty except for 2 other tables. The restaurant was freezing and both my girlfriend and I had to keep our jackets on. We asked if they could turn the heating up a bit but they said that it was on full and wouldn't warms up due to a door being opened! We ordered some olives and bread to start, this was just the beginning to a disappointing meal, they were old and tasted like they had been left in the fridge next to some meat. After this we had mussels and salt and pepper squid. These came suspiciously quickly. The mussels at best were on the cold side of warm. I believed I had ordered squid but infact i had ordered rubber bands. They were so hard and also cold! At this point we decided to leave, only paying for the bread and a glass of wine. This was such a disappointing meal and If you are thinking of going there then i would give it a miss!

Overall we really enjoyed the experience, staff were very attentive and we were well served. The food didn't quite hit the mark, squid for starter, although the batter was delicious the squid itself was very tough and impossible to bite through. Other half really enjoyed the beetroot salad. He had a fish main which he was complimentary of where I had a pizza which seemed a little bland. We would visit again as everything else was spot on, perhaps the menu or ingredients need a little tweaking?

Good food and service. Suitable for people with a range of allergies including gluten free and lactose intolerant. Great bar and outdoor area. Helpful staff.

Service was great! Food was great! Atmosphere was really good! Prices on the dear side but when the place is a nice and pleasant as it is you really don't mind paying it!!

Over all just a really lovely meal, great drinks great food and great service.

Food and atmosphere are great but the portion sizes are 100% not worth the price you pay, way too small, almost child-like portion sizes
