Great little place when visiting Bristol for roast duck and pork very good selection,a family run business .

I work/study at the University and generally don't have much money. Fresh is amazing, so close by, super cheap but filling and good quality lunches. I come here every week or two and enjoy the lunch special each time!

The food is incredible! I recently stopped by the restaurant for lunch and it was amazing. Really recommend giving it a try.

Covid been hard for everyone. So glad these lot are back cos I missed their honey roast pork sooooooooo much.

Great food and friendly staff for years now. The BBQ meats rice boxes are peng, the honey roast pork is amazing. Try the curry beef brisket too!

Brilliant food nothing can beat it. All time best Chinese take away. Such lovely staff to take your orders and food is always up to the highest standard

This place is a unique spot. It consistently delivers some of those most delicious Chinese food I have had inside the UK (to find out why I give it 3 stars ready on). It's so good that even the abrupt and slightly rude gentleman who typically takes your order does not phase me in the slightest, even if it does occasionally feel as if you're inconveniencing him by ordering food. It's become part of the experience! When I'm around the university, I often like to pop in and eat in on the tables and chairs they provide. However, I went in today to find that they are now not serving on plates, even if you want to eat in, because they don't want to have to wash them up. I disagree with this for 2 reasons. Firstly, there is an untold environmental impact of continuously throwing away plastic forks and polystyrene boxes that I find difficult to endorse. Secondly, the experience of eating their food out of a plastic box significantly impacts on the enjoyment for me. I do hope they change back to plates, and I will happily change this review to the 5 stars it deserves.

This place is known for its barbecue meats, and that's a good thing - because your average Chinese takeaway won't do barbecued meats very well.This place does the barbecue meats really well, as well as other more "standard" dishes on the menu (which I've never tried because... The barbecue is so good)Essentially, there are 4-5 options for meat (crackling pork, honey roast pork, roast duck, roast chicken...), which you get with plain or fried rice in a very generously sized box for just over £5 - fantastic.

My partner and myself have been looking for a good takeaway since moving to the area and have finally found one. Will definitely be going back next time

Lo que es más, para un pequeño establecimiento la selección es buena y los precios son muy razonables. la pena no bastante barato lo suficiente para defender un visita diaria (no para un pobre estudiante de todos modos) pero se puede estar lleno de cinco libras de fideos y verduras.Sin embargo, mientras que el servicio es muy rápido (esta vez en particular pedimos 3 platos y 1 lado que venía en sólo 5 minutos) el propietario en el mostrador es increíblemente torpe y grosero. Fresco no estaba preparado para refinar nuestra orden y nos dijo que 'apresúrense elegir" como ellos deseaban cerca (30 minutos antes de las 8 pm).He estado en este restaurante unas cuantas veces anterior y puedo confirmar que la experiencia era mucho lo mismo cada vez. Si puedes pasar un mal servicio, la comida es tan auténtico como deberá obtener por el precio y rápido.

Hemos estado yendo a fresco durante años, es el único lugar que se ve cuando queremos comida china. Es sabroso, deliciosa y simplemente el mejor de bristol.Es un estilo Hong Kong takeaway chino auténtico, carnes están colgados en el mostrador para elegir. El cerdo asado buena es maravilloso, una visita obligada cada vez que voy y mi esposo favorito es el cerdo asado con miel. Difundir la palabra ... Este lugar es un tesoro escondido. No te decepcionará.

Been there for years, loves their lunch meal deal, a box of egg fried rice with chicken and loads of veg is only 4 pounds! black bean sauce and spicy sichuan sauce are my favouriteChow mein and sweet n sour chicken are also my favourite. Fast and good service, but sometimes might need to queue up during lunch hour, but definitely worth to wait.

La comida está bastante cerca del Hong Kong estilo de comida china que me gusta y la mejor parte es que hacen su propia carne asada en la tienda. Me gusta especialmente el pato asado, roast Ribs, mein estofado de ternera y la comida. Es tan sabroso que a pesar de la estrecha, limitada incómoda y asientos, que siguen a volver para más. Intenta evitar las 12:00 a 13:30 h. el almuerzo, el lugar puede conseguir lleno y no hay asientos!

There are only two places in the UK where I want to have my Chinese food. The first is Miso, Piccadilly Circus (Central London) and the second, from here. Yes, it's that good, fresh, delicious and just lip smacking. Run by a modest and hardworking Chinese couple Fresh offers a great value for money with really quick service and substantial big portions. Ask any student from Bristol University and they will swear by its popularity and goodness.

This lovely little take-away on the top of St Michaels Hill is like a little slice of Hong Kong! Most authentic Chinese you can get in Bristol, down to the hanging roast ducks and chicken on their counter front. Brilliant!!

Really nice, non-greasy Chinese take-away. We had the roast pork...the portion was very generous and it didn't come covered in gloopy sauce. The roast duck Singapore noodles were full of meat and had a really nice flavour. Really good value for good quality ingredients.

I walk pass this Chinese takeaway everyday and always noticed a large number of people queuing for food during lunchtime. When I made my first visit, I looked around and most people were eating roast meat with rice. So I ordered a roast pork ribs, roast duck and poached chicken with fried rice, so that I could try it all. What an amazing experience this was!! The roast duck was so juicy and full of flavour and the roast ribs reminded me of what a proper barbeque should be. The portions are generous and you can supersize it whatever you can handle! I now go here at least twice a week and although the seating is a bit cramped, this is by far the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had! Brilliant!!

The food is great and authentic, their Cantonese roasts are authentic and taste really like the one's I have in Hong Kong, chow mein is the best I ever had in Bristol, it is not oily and freshly cook, the favour is just fantastic! The shop is very small and packed on every lunch time, mostly Chinese students like me who want to have some real comfort food for curing my home sickness. Their lunch special meal is only £4 with a fully packed rice with veg and chicken, which is great value for student like me! Service is a bit abrupt, especially in lunch times. And they don't accept card payment.
