Staff are lovely, fast service and reasonably priced. Food is also lovely!

The chicken and mushroom pie tasted like cheese, couldn't eat it so put off going back there again

Asked to put in 2 tail end of cod which they did and chips were just how we like them will be visiting again,good value

my last three visits I got re-heated chips, they taste like they were cooked the day before , time to find somewhere else

Easily the BEST fish and chip shop - and nicest staff, in the East of England!

Popped in to get lunch to take home. Friendly team cooked on demand so fish was jolly good. A bit pricey but quality superb.

Always tasty fish and chips but little slow with serving you have to wait a while for your order to be done. But overall great place and very friendly owners. Would recommend.

Lovely Tasty food. Bit dubious that they wash or clean hands between customers or using cash. Saw one member of staff put fingers in mouth before going to get my chips but she was ok with being asked to wash her hands.

It is a lovely family run business, welcoming and very clean environment, all in the open and delicious food. I love their haloumi wraps, my husband enjoys their fish and chips, pukka pies, mushy peas and pickled onions (yuk ;-)) Thank you so much for being our favourite fish and chips in Ipswich! Ordered 2 medium cod (lightly battered), small chips and mushy peas. Not only delivered within half an hour of order but was still hot and best piece of fish I've eaten this trip, including eating in. Will definitely call again. Mr

Always good fish, chips and sausages. Chicken is great especially the chicken kebabs. Great value for money.

If I could rate it 0 I would, Awful, Missing Chips, Portion is a joke, Burgers are like rustler's. Never Again I saw the 4.4 rating and I hoped for a lovely takeaway, majorly disappointed.

Shame you can't give 0 stars. Terrible terrible service. Turned up cold and called the owner. His words "What do you expect me to do about it". No offer of anything just told he didn't care and it wasn't his problem. Never seen food like it. SOLID mushy peas and horrible cold food. Avoid like the plague!

Terrible service food was ordered at 6 not delivered at 8:20 wouldn't refund money and kept telling me lies will never order again from here

I have been a customer at Fresh Fry for several years and also placed orders online through Just Eat, throughout this time there have been no issues. However, having placed an order through Just Eat this evening, the delivery was incomplete. I rang the takeaway to be told that the item would be delivered. I then had a phone call from Just Eat to say that the restaurant was issuing a refund for the missing item. This is unacceptable and for this reason I will no longer be ordering from Fresh Fry or through Just Eat whose customer service was both awkward and unpleasant.

Everything is extremely oily but tastes good

No STARS!!!!!!! I have never had such a crap back of cold toenails that they called chips. Total disgrace - never going back. In fact want to deliver these cold disgusting effort of chips back to them!

Very tasty fish and excellent value for money; I usually get a small and it's still sometimes too much!
