East Cottage Chinese Takeaway in Ipswich

Got the meal for 3 and loved it. Not my local Chinese but I’ll go out of my way for this food. The highlights were the spare ribs peking style and sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style - delish

My local Chinese. Fantastic every time, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! New chef is so good as well! Always get the delicious pork chop suey and the Singapore fried rice noodle! Best Chinese in the area

Had take away from here last night - one of the best sesame prawn toast I have had, and the prawn with bamboo shoots was really good too. Great service. Would definitely get again.

We moved back to Ipswich this weekend and had never tried this takeaway before,last night we had our first meal from them and the guy on phone was really helpful sorting out my husbands request the food was outstanding best Chinese we have had and we will definitely be using again thank you

Hello East cottage, sorry to post a review but couldn't find an email address... Just had a take away collection, and we always choose east cottage because it's fantastic, however tonight it's been very disappointing, we had duck chow main and duck with ginger and spring onions and both portions of duck where so fatty n hardly any meat the dishes where wasted, the chicken satay skewers where quite dry and although the prawn crackers where free the bag was so stale they went straight in the bin... 😭

We've struggled to find a good Chinese takeaway in Ipswich until we found East Cottage. Will defo go back. 1/4 duck was superb, beef in the chow mein waa really good, portions are big, chicken balls were proper chicken not that slippery frozen stuff and chips were salted. Recommend.
