Good food well served . Good coffee . Didn’t try the cakes but looked good.. The staff didn’t seem especially happy not unfriendly or inefficient just lacking in that welcoming feeling.Would still go back to give them another try.

We stopped here for brunch, and the portions were generous and the food acceptable. Unfortunately the woman who was serving didn’t come across as very friendly and welcoming. Our plates weren’t cleared away nor were we asked if we wanted anything more. I’m not sure I saw her smile at all the whole time we were there. We like to support small local businesses, but this is one grumpy establishment we’ll steer clear of in the future.

Visited with family for a Mother’s Day high tea. We received a really warm welcome and the food was fantastic. Amazing cakes and beautifully presented. So glad we booked as several people were turned away while we were there. Obviously a very popular place to eat and we will definitely be back, next time we are in the area. Highly recommended.

We went in for a late breakfast. Service was friendly and efficient. Bacon and lorne sausage rolls were delicious and the coffee was good.

This was our third visit to The Smoking Goat and we again loved everything. Service by Holly and PJ was fabulous, nothing was a bother and we were well looked after! Huge vegan selection and I even got a dessert! Deep fried pickles are an absolute must and the portions are really big!!! Great atmosphere and food. Be back soon

Good value, great taste. We had the cappachino together with a hot chocolate served with a very friendly, chatty service. Made it all worthwhile.

Visited Glastonbury whilst on a weeks break in Crewkerne. Popped into to this lovely cafe as it was dog friendly. Forgetting my glasses I asked if they catered for gluten free, they did (it stated it on the menu). As I ordered the lady behind the counter asked if I was coeliac, I told her I was. When the food was brought to the table, the lady explained that she had cleaned the kitchen and prepared my food using all new unopened ingredients. All I had was a corned beef and onion sandwich, but the attention to detail was second to none. Really recommend this place to coeliacs and non coeliacs.
