It was half term and both kids now at Uni so we had a little break in Lytham St Anne’s. We stayed close by at the Travelodge and needed a breakfast before a day in Blackpool. What a lovely friendly cafe. Clearly popular with local regulars. A full English and a mini breakfast was nicely cooked and the staff were attentive and welcoming. We bought some homemade rocky road which kept us sustained through the day. Highly recommended. 👍

Staff were incredibly patient and friendly with a solo parent a 3 year old and a teething 1 year old. Staff offered help and prompt service moving forward an order for a child on the afternoon menu to the breakfast one to accommodate. The cafe was constantly full throughout and had to turn people away which speaks volumes of the quality yet while occupying the biggest table we were not rushed. I will be returning.

We had won a cream tea voucher at the Carnival and popped it to see if we could upgrade to an afternoon tea. They were very helpful and said we could and we could also bring our dog Brian We went back a couple of days later and really enjoyed our afternoon tea and Brian was given a special treat. The staff are very friendly and really seem to enjoy themselves even when it was busy. Very comfortable cafe with good food and warm friendly vibes

Good quick service, clean tables and seating, fairly quiet so you can hear yourself think, enjoyed our lunch although the optional sald is not much more than a dollop of coleslaw, 3 cherry tomato halves and some iceberg leaves. I think 4.15 for side order of chips is too expensive. Spoilt by dog on the next table. Not everyone is pro dog in cafes when your'e eating and its watching your every move.

Although I live in St. Annes and frequent most of the cafes in Lytham and St.Annes I have never tried Fresh cafe before. Nice cafe, good service and friendly staff. My friend and I had soup and a sandwich for lunch which we enjoyed. I would have happily returned to the cafe if we had not been charged for 2 glasses of tap water. I have never been to a cafe before that charges for tap water! I can understand if you went in and took up a table and only had tap water but when you have a lunch that you are paying £18 for seems strange to be charged for a small glass of water that didn’t even have ice and lemon in. Shame, I won’t be returning because of this.

We stayed recently in Lytham St Anne’s and I had done some research and Fresh Cafe came highly recommend!!We were not disappointed and ate here twice during our break, the American style breakfast was lovely and the food was really well cooked and was great value particularly with the Eat out to Help our scheme. Really nice personal touch was my daughter asking for no eggs on her breakfast and the owner then offering the sausages we’d ordered for our dog for free instead of the eggs. Just a little thing but shows customers are valued.

Nice food, lovely service but the prices for the portion sizes are exorbitant. Some prices don’t seem much higher than other cafes in the region but the bare minimum portion. £2.70 for one small scoop of chips, £4.95 (yes almost a fiver) for a barm with one sausage, one egg and one rasher of bacon. Won’t use again.

Happened on this little cafe almost by accident. Small but friendly with a good range on the menu. Reasonable prices. The only disappointing thing was the towel in the toilet. Whilst visiting Blackpool recently, i went on a visit with my friend to Lytham St Annes. After quite a long walk taking in all the wonderful sights and shops, we decided to eat forgetting that a lot of time had gone by. We were fortunate enough to find this wonderful cafe that was just closing its doors. the owner could only offer us a choice of cakes as they had cleared away. We decided on a scone each with butter and jam. I can honesly say this scone was the best i have ever tasted. It was moist , not hard baked, easy to chew with a taste that lingered in your mouth long after you had eaten it. i just wish this cafe was near where i live. the service was superb, lovely and friendly and very accommodating. We even had a taxi booked for our return journey to Blackpool, free of charge. i'd like to say. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality too.

We visited twice for lunch as we enjoyed the service and food so much the first visit. I have one son who is a very fussy eater so when I find somewhere I can get him jam and toast for lunch it's a winner. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly ladies who run the place. Tables were clean, there was a great selection of food. Generous helpings and fantastic atmosphere. There is a loo out the back too which was great to use before heading to the beach and having to pay to use the yucky one on the pier. I had different food on each visit so can recommended the jacket potatoes and the sausage, egg and chips! The jacket was cooked perfectly and the side salad was really good and fresh. The cakes looked amazing too, one of my son's had a rocky road which he enjoyed, someone sat next to me had a teacake too which smelt amazing and all great value for money. We will return if we visit Lytham again and I would recommend it to anyone passing through the area. Thumbs up Fresh!

All our food was delicious, although we found they were quite small portions. It was really nice to be able to bring our dog in, who sat well behaved under our table. The only thing we found is that it could be helpful if there were more signs up, letting other customers know that dogs are allowed in, rather than being chuntered at by other customers while we were eating, the those customers can have a chance to go somewhere else, if they don't like dogs.

With something for even the fussiest diner, A wide range of teas and coffees and all at a remarkably reasonable cost. The staff were friendly and very quick at clearing tables and wiping down, The biggest bonus for us we were allowed to take our little dog inside. Why oh why can't other cafe owners follow this example ? I don't think any other person knew we had a dog in there as he sat quietly under the table unlike a lot of children who can go freely into cafes and restaurants and make their presence felt! It was our first visit to Fresh but it certainly won't be our last!

Our second visit as we were impressed by the first. The staff are welcoming and efficient and cheerful. Food is prepared in very little time and the quality is great. The menu is varied and I dare you to eat through the full English!! Everything is freshly prepared from local sources. Whether you just want a snack or a more substantial meal, the menu has it all.

Go regularly with my mum for a coffee and something to eat, always sit outside in the Mediterranean garden (as we like to call it) and have to say we've got to know staff really well and haven't got anything bad to say at all...

The cafe has lots of choice to offer you. Staff are friendly, cafe clean , food very good, in the shopping centre main road. Cakes are scummy, mocha coffee with cream a delight quite a lot of choice, always packed.

Nice, friendly cafe. We only had coffees and cakes so not sure what the food is like. Although looking at others plates it all looked nice, especially the home made sandwiches.

Went with my 2 granddaughters for lunch, service was great, staff were all helpful and food was lovely. Shame we didn't have room for the delicious looking cakes ! We will have to go back. Would recommend a visit.

Love this place for a good fry up. It's in the centre of St.annes and always seems very busy when we go. Only criticism is that it stops serving mid afternoon (we tried to order food) but I guess it's only a cafe. Very nice grub

After visiting Gabriella's (same business owners) across the road and being informed that they had no breakfasts available at midday (wtf) we decided to visit Black Sheep and regretfully I won't be returning. Order placed relatively simply but this is when it went wrong. Waitress took our drinks to wrong table. Waited overly long for breakfast which was also taken to the wrong table. Then no cutlery. No offer of sauces or salt and pepper. I had to go and collect cutlery from another table. Food was cold, poached egg overcooked, bacon undercooked, toast buttered (I'd like to choose whether I have my toast buttered). Honestly was incredibly poor and we chose a local business over Wetherspoons up the way. AVOID!

Great little bar in Lytham. Cosy in winter and a fabulous place to sit and sip wine outside in summer. Excellent service.
