Freemason's Cafe in Newham

Suelo visitar para un desayuno rápido para llevar, que está bien. Sin embargo hoy estaba fuera del trabajo y decidí sentarme a desayunar. Había una señora que me atendía que no hablaba inglés demasiado bien. Recibí mi desayuno y apenas había frijoles en mi plato. Le pregunté si se podía hacer algo, ella solo me miró y me dijo que no, así es como viene si quieres más £ 1. 50 . Estaba decepcionado con todo el servicio. Tuve que solicitar mi café después de casi comer la mayor parte de mi comida, ya que no me dieron ningún té o café que viene con el menú establecido. Por lo general, los hombres que reciben órdenes (que son los propietarios creo ) son realmente agradables.

Rather than overpay for a standard offer at the Excel, I explored the local street next to Custom House tube and found this cafe about 200m away. Traditional range of food. My jacket potato was huge and very tasty. No complaints from me!

Bought a tune roll red bull and a twix woman charge me £7.90 which I thought was too much tuna roll was £4.00 red bull was £1.40 twix couldn’t have been £2.50 they charge what ever they want when you pay with card so be careful when you pay with card will never go there ever again not the first time happen couple times

Ordered steak and kidney pie, chips and beans. Got a pie that the pastry like boot leather (too long in the microwave). Chips and beans - small serving.

Encontramos este lugar cerca de Custom house, clásico café y restaurante, tan feliz de haber elegido este lugar. El personal es amable, una pequeña empresa familiar (Gracias, Sr. Mehmet). Pedimos pollo a la parrilla y nuggets, sabor increíble, no picante pero muy bueno y muy barato para un almuerzo o cena. El menú de comida es diversificado, precio a partir de 2. 99 para el desayuno y termina con 8. 90 para cenar. The cafe looks like a cafe. The idea of a London working man's cafe, which it very much is. I walked in and it's over half full with men working the new Elizabeth line on custom house. Hi viz'd upto the max it took me back to a trance night during the 90's. Anyway, review. Great looking cafe with Set menus No vege or vegan meat alternatives sausages (I dont mind personally but it's always a bonus) I ordered mushrooms hash browns tomato and toast with a coffee (They tried to Palm me off with a not great tasting instant coffe although there was an industrial sized coffee making machine) I asked to have one from there. It was delicious and no extra cost so be sure to ask for the good stuff All came out pretty quick and easy, well prepared price Inc a bottle of water £7.30 a little over priced considering the order. I'll be back there for sure. Enjoy

This place worst ever i been too, waited for half hour get order, food is tastless, not cook properly , toast are stale, place are dirty, lack of working people only cook whose i gues owner and his wife waitress witch doesnt speak english... worst experiance i ever have...

I might be biased to give a 5 star, well it's simply because i am a freemason. It's just a stone throw away from my hotel.

Popped in here with a colleague prior to setting up at The Excel Motorcycle Show. Full breakfast with coffee & toast for £5.90 each which set us up for the day. Much better value than the various outlets at The Excel. Clean and fast service !

From now and again I went to this café for some food and take away, the price is good, staff friendly.

Good cafe for an all day breakfast or choice of lunches/dinner. Plenty of seating. Nice and spacious/airy.

The Freemasons Cafe near the Excel is the definition of the phrase Greasy Spoon in a very good way! Clean, well lit cafe with excellent food and friendly swift service. I had a cooked breakfast sausages (x 2), bacon (x 3), mushrooms, hash browns, tea and toast £7:80. Brilliant cafe, thoroughly recommended! 👏

Basic-looking Diner on Freemason's Road, within a couple of hundred metres of the DLR Customs House for Excel Station. Very extensive menu covering any meal from very early to very late. Stopped for Breakfast before heading to a show at Excel - needed plenty of energy to get through the day and didn't fancy paying the over-inflated prices in the exhibition centre. Great choice of food for breakfast. Very quick service by a friendly waitress at the table. Well cooked and simply presented. Food and coffee piping hot. Clean tables, cutlery, etc. Would certainly go again: both for the food and for the service. Don't be put off by the appearance from the road!

We just grabbed a quick bite while doing our laundry a few doors down. Food was good, it's a regular neighbourhood diner.

Very popular with locals, workmen and those drawn into the area by events at the excel. Good quality breakfasts and lunches, generous portions, nice staff. Good coffee! Have eaten here many times and will again and again.

Virtually a stones throw from Excel Centre on the other side of the DLR station, the Freemasons Cafe is located in a shopping prescient. Plenty of tables and vast menu, at a very reasonable price for London. Food was tasty and served promptly in with quite a few punters in around 11ish. Would definitely recommend if at an event or just working in the area!

Si quieres desayunar cerca de la Excel, debe pasear por la línea de metro aquí. Es una cuchara muy estándar de grasa, pero la comida es un poco más de lo habitual estándar mientras los precios son geniales para Londres y increíble para estar a la vista de un centro de convenciones. He estado yendo a través de los años. En esta ocasión, el black pudding era bastante bueno.

Como su nombre indica en Inglaterra pertenecer a la Francmasoneria es un privilegio que no todos lo consiguen y el ambiente es serio y respetuoso

Lugar agradável com atendimento eficiente e simpático. Compensa uma visita. Preços razoáveis. Ótimo custo benefício. Recomendável, mas sem muitos elogios.

Dos de nosotros comimos un almuerzo tarde aquí las comidas eran muy generosos. El café tiene un precio muy razonable, es limpio y el servicio es muy amable y eficiente. Un buen descubrimiento en efecto

Só tomei café-da-manhã nesse lugar. É razoável e o preço não é tão caro. Vale a pena conhecer. O espaço deve servir refeições durante o dia, mas não experimentei. O ambiente é agradável. Recomendo.

shepherds pie was one of the best i had, the meat was spicy and the topping was a bit like sweet potato.

cheap, large portions, clean place, but a very "English Cafe", The area is not too brilliant and the cafe' is visited by workers of nearby Crossrail building site, otherwise it could be more friendly. Service is not existant as you order at the counter and pay at the counter. But is very good value for money if you are hungry!!!

whilst getting Excel ready for the Olympics, my colleagues and i would frequent this gem of a cafe regularly either for a late breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Service was quick, the food and drinks were hot and bountiful. The waitress would soon remember our individual orders. The cafe is large enough for small groups and has a regular local clientele. Prices are very reasonable. Cheese omelette, chips, beans, and a mug of tea for £5.50. Daily specials available as well.
