Had such an amazing night at the cabaret we were seated by Eliza and she looked after us the whole night. Not a single complaint she was amazing. As was the cabaret. Would visit again in a heartbeat

A friend and I attempted to go here on a Friday night. After handing them our ID’s…we were straight up denied from entering. They claimed we were “too drunk” (we weren’t) but it’s clear they just didn’t want Americans

Great atmosphere, ‘Georgie’ was brilliant and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome! She wasn’t the only one however she stood out. All the staff were great. I will definitely return next time I’m in the city!

An Asian looking girl with long dark hair, she wears glasses, she will ignore to serve you as a person with colour, then once you told her you’ve been waiting for a while, her response was I choose to serve whom I wanna serve! Went upstairs, complained to the manager, was asked to wait upstairs, I did and never saw the manager again so we had to leave! We have video evidence and will be exposing freedom bar soho! THERE ARE SO MANY PLACES TO GO TO IN SOHO! Avoid freedom bar. Will be taking them to court!

We tried this place on a Saturday evening, had a few drinks early on and moved to some other bars. Security & bar staff were friendly, polite - unlike G-A-Y nearby. We decided to return and after a few more drinks headed downstairs.. turns from a bar upstairs to club down below. Cloakroom £2 per item..great atmosphere, good music and all in all, a fun night.. highly recommended. Arrive early though! We left just after midnight, and the queues were long! Must be all the customers G-A-Y refuse to let in 😂

Been here for 5 years and it’s still a blast. Best place to be in Soho. Security, bartenders, waiters and managers all class people and great friends.

Nice venue, shame about the bar staff, bit rude who cannot make a cocktail, at £11.50 a pop think they should be spot on with it! Shan’t be heading back anytime soon.

The door staff were incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Bar staff were pleasant enough to stop us from walking straight back out again but they certainly reconsider the reception they give to customers or risk losing business…

It was my birthday night out and I was really looking forward to spending it in freedom. My friends and I got turned away because apparently it was too busy and that they weren’t letting anyone else in (11pm). We were a little disappointed but understood and left the queue. However, we then saw the doorman letting people in that were behind us in the queue and did not mention to them about it being too late. It seemed like the doorman was picking and choosing who to let in based off of looks which is really disappointing. I’ve had many a night out in freedom so it’s such a shame that this happened. If you are planning a special night out please think twice before coming here or else you’d may be massively disappointed.

Came to visit with my mum when she came down to London to see me. We arrived around 10pm on a Tuesday night and was able to find a table relatively easy in the upstairs, with the plan to head to the downstairs after a drink or two. The bartender was quite clearly new as he was asking other staff what was in one of the drinks (the Marlon Brando - highly recommend) we ordered but still clearly had good bar knowledge as was skilled at making the drinks. He was also willing to adapt to my mum's request of a mojito made with tequila instead of rum (tequito). Even after heading downstairs, I went up to be served by him again as he was very friendly and chatty. The downstairs had singers on and the vibrant energy really brightened up the pretty dark basement. The security were great and also extremely friendly, even getting a first bump off one when I ran upstairs to get drinks for me and my mum and he opened the door for me on my arrival back down 😂

We came to Freedom for my friend’s birthday and the service provided by Bee really was second to none. She is a credit to the company and couldn’t have given us better treatment. We will absolutely be visiting again today based on today’s experience.

A great evening, friendly host, attentive service and felt covid safe with measures in place. Clean environment with a great atmosphere. Brilliant to be back inside with music, which was really good music too. Entertainment was good and a bonus also. Hadn’t planned to stay but we were having a good time and stayed to watch. Will be back very soon!

We were greeted by bee, and to be honest she made the whole night yes it is expensive but what do you expect its London. However bee made it memorable with her funny remarks and laid back persona.Even though we had to fish at 10 she made me feel like it was 12.Additionally I cannot forget Kevin who served us out drinks. Putamg ina mo you're amazing.Furthermore Tamas made the best cocktails and shots.The best thing is I wasn't paid or told to do this. They are honestly the nicest people.

Los cócteles no son buenos. No estoy seguro de cómo se puede hacer mal una bebida clásica como un mojito, ¡pero lo fue! ¡Esto podría pasarse por alto, si no encontramos 2 errores en una de las bebidas! Nos sorprendió encontrar esto flotando y pudimos ver claramente el insecto con patas flotando alrededor de la parte superior del vidrio. Al contarle a un miembro del personal el caso, nos dijeron que era maracuyá. Luego le dijimos al miembro del personal que no se trataba de un cóctel de maracuyá, así que dijo que era tejido, cuando pudimos ver claramente las patas del insecto y se lo enseñamos. Luego le llevó la bebida al barman, quien sacó el insecto y trató de verter la misma bebida en un vaso nuevo, pero luego nos vio mirando y terminó tirando la bebida por esa razón. Luego llamaron al gerente para decirnos que es imposible ser un error porque "usamos control de plagas". Los errores pueden provenir de cualquier lugar, y realmente no tuvimos ningún problema importante cuando esto sucedió. ¡Todo lo que queríamos era una bebida fresca! Terrible bar, bad service, rude staff, overpriced watered down tasteless drinks served in dirty glasses, attracts drug dealers and the late night drunken stragglers. Only thing going for it is that it’s open late.

Went here for a friend's birthday celebration, the host Viter (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was lovely and accomodating. We had a booth area by the DJ box. We had a suprise birthday cake which he brought when we requested it, he had put with sparklers, which was so extra! Thank you! he proper looked after us that evening. Thank you for making this evening wonderful for my friend's birthday, I would recommend this venue for celebration event.

Arriba, encontrarás a los clientes más civilizados que participan en conversaciones, cenas y bebidas en lugar de abajo, donde la música es ruidosa, el piso está lleno y el asiento reservado. As usual, I booked a table in freedom for me and my friends to celebrate my birthday. My boyfriend celebrates his birthday every year (or at least he used to before this happens), well, I booked, received the confirmation email, put my credit card details to confirm the booking and after I received an email asking my guest list and then a confirmation that my reservation was complete. When I got there, on the day of my birthday, my friends and I were in queue, when it was our turn and I gave my name and I told I had a reservation there in the club downstairs. The answer I had from the guy who was with the role of the reserves was that I had no reservation there, I was shocked, because I did everything as the website and Rebeca asked me, I even got the confirmation email. But the guy kept saying that I had no reservation at all. So I took my phone to check the email and showed it to him the confirmation, after that he found a paper, in the middle of the papers that he was holding where my name and the list of my guests were written. I showed him that was my name and there was the list of my guests, he tried to lie to me saying that Rebeca asked for the guest list just to have a kind of “check” (it didn’t make any sense) so he asked for a moment while he went inside the club, five minutes later he came back apologizing saying that no one had gave to him my reservation (even though he had my name and guest list on his papers) and that all the tables were busy. At the time I was desperate and asked what to do or who to call to solve that embarrassing situation, because all my friends and family were there to celebrate my birthday and they were not understanding what was happening, the guy then told me that the only thing he could offer me would be a business card where I could contact head office next day to complain about it, because according to him that was “their” fault. When I was almost crying of shame, he saw it and told me that he had found a table available, but upstairs in the bar and not at the club and that later when any group from the tables downstairs leave, he would give us the table. When I asked him how long it would take, he said he didn't know, that it would depend if someone decided to clear the table or not. So, we went and sat at the table, next to the window, and I'm sure that there was the worst table to sit, because it was next to the smoking area outside and the smoke was coming from outside through the gaps of the windows. My guests didn't tell me but they were very uncomfortable with that situation. That's when I decided to give up the table and go to the club downstairs, even if we had no table, but at least we could dance a little bit. But I was already so sad and disappointed with all that situation, that we stayed 15 minutes and went to another club in Soho, where at least we were treated with more care and respect. Well, at least one thing I learned from that, I will never book anything in Freedom again, and my boyfriend is already looking for another club to celebrate his birthday now in October, and my friends (many of them were there for the first time), already have a terrible impression of the place And don't want to go back there. I do not wish what I have been through to anyone, hopefully with this feedback you improve the customer service of you because you lost 15+ customers because of it.

He visitado Freedom muchas veces a lo largo de los años cuando visité o viví anteriormente en Londres y desafortunadamente la visita más reciente probablemente será la última.El personal actual del bar son aficionados autoengañados con una actitud que siempre es una combinación desagradable y paradójica en la industria de servicios. What a fun place. Wasn’t sure at the beginning, but it turned out to be a fabulous night. We went out to celebrate my friends birthday and we ended up dancing away with cocktails for the whole night. Def worth a visit.

Very disappointed to be taken advantage of and charged twice for the drinks I bought on Friday night.

I visited on a Wednesday Evening with a friend. The only positive of the occasion was we were kindly seated on arrival, although we were placed next to a lovely couple and a very loud group of boisterous teenagers (I have no issues with youngsters, I’m 24!). After 15 minutes of loudness, the lovely couple next to us left. My friend & I tolerated such loudness, until one of the girls decided to stand on the seating (I assume to dance), treading on my coat. When I asked her to get off my coat, I was greeted with rudeness. She then threatened to get us ‘kicked out’, referring to a manager ‘Victor’, which failed, as my friend and I left shortly after, voluntarily. Prior to leaving, her friends hurled abuse, including sarcastic shouting of ‘bye’, and when I spoke to management, I was told ‘this is a public space, they can do what they want’. To summarise, 4 customers (2 loyal customers) left due to rudeness and loudness from fellow customers, all accepted by management. Unacceptable. As a regular of Soho, and of Freedom, I would now recommend going to a funner, classier bar, such as Yard or Circa, where you aren’t greeted by loud, aggressive teenagers in tracksuits. Unfortunately, I have come to the conclusion that Freedom has turned into a more expensive GAY.

Vine aquí con mi novia para tomar una copa antes de cenar. Pedí una margarita y no fue muy buena en absoluto. Le pedí a mi novia que lo probara y ella dijo que era la cal la que estaba apagada. Fue al bar a pedir uno nuevo y el cantinero dijo que faltaba como (?). En lugar de reemplazarlo por otro, fue nuevamente acusada. ¡Esperabas un mejor servicio al cliente desde un lugar tan popular como este!

Really enjoyed our night out we first went to o bar and asked one of the managers where we could go to go out, they showed us around and downstairs and then to the freedom bar, amazing atmosphere perfect for a girls night out

Organised a birthday surprise for my partner with our friends surprising her and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I dealt with a boy called Harry who provided a wonderful service for us! He kept returning to our area throughout the night to check if we were ok and if we needed anything to make our evening better than it was. Not a bad word to say. Will defo be returning!

This posh looking bar has a great selection of cocktails and the barmen are fairly quicky making them. The staff has always been friendly, had we been there for a quick drink or celebrating my birhtday. The booking procedure was easy and they didn`t charge extra for table service - hence we happily left tips every time we ordered drinks. The music has been good every single time we were there though didn`t try to request songs.

This place is simply fantastic, visited from outside of the UK, and we went several times as were made to feel so welcome. The cocktails in happy hours represent great value for money, and they have some great drink offers available such as prosecco bottles on the cabaret night. Food is simple bar food, fast and convenient. The crowd is a mixed crowd, very unpretentious, happy , no attitude, and this is probably because the doormen, bar staff are very kind and attentive.

Oh my, Freedom is well past its sell by date, and frankly I am shocked its still open, it deserves to be turned into a car park, which would be a better use of the real estate than this lacklustre excuse for a bar. The manager is so obnoxious and arrogant he cannot be bothered to actually manage the establishment. Yuck. Fortunately there are plenty of good bars in central London who value their customers - unike Freedom.

This place always appears to be busy and I can see why. Good atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks and catchy tunes. All you need.

How lovely this place WAS. In fact so lovely, we thought of bringing along a disabled guest for their cabaret show. What a mistake!

Where to start??? This place is dreadful! Service next to none and the attitude of the bar staff was shocking! Ignored for 15 minutes and then told that the 2 servers were on table service - do I care? NOPE!! Not even acknowledged! the surly staff and smell from the bar area totally put us off - AVOID this place, loads of better places in Soho with way better customer service. The managers and owners should be ashamed... ZERO Stars.... :/

I been in freedom on the 15 Nov 2017 where I have my leave party and where was 120 guest on the club .

Unbearably pretentious, rancid, and rude. If you seriously have no better taste than to visit this establishment, then this is exactly the establishment you deserve. The poor doorman does his best, as do most of the staff, but when an establishment is rotten, then all you have to do is look towards the top of the tree, and in the case of Freedom the 'manager' we encountered was an obnoxious and odious creature who really loves the sound of his own voice, and has no interest in the thoughts of customers. I have never encountered such a moron in all my years of visiting establishments.

Visited for drinks, busy bar right in the centre of soho, good selection of drinks. Visited on a Tuesday night and still a decent crowd

The overzealous security on the door asked us if we had a booking, despite the bar being very quiet this Bank Holiday Saturday afternoon. Once inside, we ordered spirits and mixers but were disappointed to see the mixer being dispensed from a pump, like some cheap pub chain.

Les serveurs ne sont pas vraiment agréables, la musique est basique mais efficace puisque du commercial. Les verres un petit peu chers, la deco sympa avec deux barres de pole sur la piste de danse. Sympa mais qui ne nous a pas fait tomber amoureux du London night life.

I ordered a pornstar martini which in my opinion was too sweet. When I politley asked the bar man - ANGELO to do something about it, he said I "shouldn't order a sweet cocktail if I don't like sweet cocktails". He tried to insult my intelligence, this is not my first time having a pornstar martini and it's certainly not the best. IF ANGELO KNEW BETTER HE WOULD DO BETTER!

Love this place, always the best service, awesome drinks & fantastic atmosphere! Happy hour after work til 8pm Porn Star Martinis are the best! Great downstairs space for late night dancing too! Always go with mates in town or visitors, a nice mix of guys, girls, all race & sexuality. No attitude. Great doors staff (unlike other venues on this road!) friendly door hosts, bar people & wait staff too. If I could live here I would..!

One of my favourite venues in London. Team is super friendly and attentive to detail. After few visits they even remember who you are and always stop for a little chat. Music is great as they usually have a DJ in the evenings and there's a floor if you like to dance.

Been to a lot of places around the world but this bar set's the standard for rudeness. Split over two levels lovely bar security staff very nice female staff so nice but the male staff so so rude, they talk amongst themselves look at you and ignore you and then come at you with attitude like you have done something wrong. There are a lot of cheaper places in London for a late drink than this place all down to the bad attitude of the male bar tenders. Not a nice experience at all and I've been to this bar so many times and the same experience. I'm done.

We got our reserved table, everything was great. The host welcoming me was really really nice and I really enjoyed my interaction with him. They put balloons at our table, cause they knew it was my birthday :). What a great start! At some point during the night (well before my reservation was over) the bar took the "reserved" sign away from my table. Maybe it got lost? This made way for groups of people to invade our space and tell us we didn't belong at our own table. It was very uncomfortable to play the "sorry, this table is reserved" game all night, especially with the few groups of invaders who had refused to leave, claiming that "It doesn't say this table is reserved anywhere." Freedom Bar, why did you take my "reserved" sign away so long before my reservation was over? Some of our invaders were nice, but some of them were mean.Also: A hen party stole my balloons :(

Sind relativ spät abends hier angekommen und mussten ein paar Minuten anstehen. Die junge Dame am Einlass war super nett und ließ uns sogar ohne Eintritt passieren. Der Laden an sich ist cool eingerichtet und erzeugt eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Im Keller kann getanzt werden, es war leider viel zu warm da unten. Die Toiletten sind okay und dir Getränke lecker. Die Garderobe fand ich etwas teuer, ansonsten nettes Personal und ein gelungener Abend!

Came in this bar for a few drinks on Sunday. Sat just opposite the bar. The design and the smell in the bar is worth a complement. The pretty girl in the suit kept walking back and forth overlooking the tables. Once we made our mind on the drinks we smiled to the girl making a point that we are ready to order. She made a face, walked past and went to the bar to speak to the bartender. This made me feel awkward thinking that I just smiled to a stranger and she isn't actually working here. Then she went behind the bar, which made it obvious that she did work here. I then smiled to her again, willing to order, she walked past again, until I actually little waved to her. She approached the table and took the order. As we were sitting right in front of the bar, we could easily see how she went to bartender, passed our order and started negatively talking in a Latin language showing on us. We later understood why, there was no table service. But even though, was that an appropriate attitude and the way to let us know about it? Considering she is just hanging between the bar and a few tables, I wonder what is in fact her position? If she is the manager, then this is a big mistake on the company's part.

I really do like this place and it is one of the better cocktail bars in central Soho. Happy Hour is amazing value and you get great cocktails. Yes the bar men aren't the happiest bunch, but they are pleasant to look at. Downstairs is always a lot of fun, busy and the music keeps you dancing. If you are after a few drinks, followed by a bit of dance downstairs, then this is the place for you.

Comprehensive menu, but as with every other bar of this type in soho - overpriced. Good stuff: they uphold certain standards of who they let in (until a certain time anyway), they'll tell you where the table is if you give them the name of the reservation at the door, quick table service. Bad stuff: hostess very, very rude; also made us to wait ages to get our coats back as she was prioritising people coming in. Overall, decent atmosphere and drinks, clean and well decorated, but doesn't stand out from the soho crowd.

Visited a few times in the past so we called in last week for a few drinks. The place was empty at around 5pm just one bar man and the greeter. Got a frosty welcome by the bar man who then made us our cocktails. We stood there at the bar whilst he made them, it wouldn't have taken him much to say "would you guys like to take a seat and I will bring them over" the place was dead and a little detail like that is what makes a place feel welcoming. He pushed the drinks at us whilst saying nothing so we went to sit down. Great looking place and the attention to the detail on the interior is well done! looks like such a lovely bar. Such a shame the atmosphere feels frosty. Been a few times and it's always been this way. The greeter guy then threw down a reserved sign on our table we were sitting on and said nothing. Was this a way of saying go? I work in customer service myself and I don't think it would have been to much trouble saying "just popping this down guys for a table that's booked for later" the funny thing is he put it on our table and there was about 4 other booths he left free. Do people not realise little things like this make people feel uneasy. Or at least saying something to let us know... We sat there for a bit and had a nice nice chat but not once did the bar man pop down and say "any more drinks guys" I wouldn't always expect that but when your the only ones in the bar is it that much trouble. I think the management need to start hiring down to earth friendly, chatty people then maybe people will feel a little more relaxed in the place. Great looking bar! Lovely drinks and brilliant offers! but I think a little more hospitality to the guests and a smile wouldn't go a miss. We would have spent a longer time in there if the atmosphere wasn't so frosty so we just left to a more welcoming friendly place around the corner.

One of the nicer straight-friendly gay bars in Soho. Great cocktails, good music, spaced well with booths and high tables. Great place to start a night of drinking but not one to stay in all night, also get there early as the seating gets taken fast!

I visited Freedom almost every night of a week stay in London during November 2016. The staff was very friendly to my friend and I and we received nothing but efficient service. The bar is clean and the prices of drinks are decent. I will be back again and cannot thank everyone at Freedom for an amazing experience!

It is hard to find much to say against the place but equally it is hard to identify its stand out quality either. The bar staff serve you drinks in a swift and efficient manner but lack the interaction you get at other places within a 2 minute walk. The drinks selection is wide and prices not as bad as a lot of Soho bars. The decor is OK but lacks the wow factor. They do cabaret shows in the downstairs bar on some nights but again there is better to be found elsewhere as Danni D especially has been peddling the same act for years (it's great if you are a one off visitor but for repeat droppers in it is getting a bit tired).The policy of reserving tables is annoying as it seems to always result in loads of people standing looking at empty seats.I will say the door staff are excellent and I cannot really see why they have been knocked in a couple of reviews. I have always found them friendly and the only people they have ever appeared curt with have been drunken idiots who have already failed to take the polite request to go elsewhere on board. I really want to love the place more but it just seems to lack that certain spark. It is fine to pop into for a quick drink on the way somewhere else but you are not really going to find yourself wanting to settle in for the night.

Eine sehr angesagte Bar in Soho, dem -man könnte sagen - Londoner Partyviertel schlecht hin. Für Berliner könnte man es mit Friedrichshain rund um die Warschauer Straße vergleichen.Jedoch ist es nicht nur eine Bar. Treppen führen in den Keller, einem großen Raum, in dem die Fetzen fliegen. Manchmal wortwörtlich. Eng an eng wird hier in Dunkelheit und Lichteffekten zu verschiedenster Musik getanzt. Man spürt förmlich die Hitze in der Luft. Diese Bar ist sehr beliebt, vor allem bei Homosexuellen. An manchen Tagen gibt es Mottos, wie Auftritte von Dragqueens oder gar einige Darsteller der um die Bar herum stattfindenden Musicals kommen, um ihren Feierabend zu genießen und geben ein Ständchen. Hier ist einfach alles möglich und immer was los. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und Stressresistent. Damit sie aus der Fassung geraten, muss man wahrscheinlich Tee in den Hafen werfen =D

It's all still a bit Meh, so so, vanilla.Staff are nice enough if you get their attention, but they have their favourites. It's obvious.The door staff, like most places are hideously rude and aggressive, almost off putting.It's a fun night out, good music and fun with friends, but needs a makeover and something special feels lacking here, nothing special, but not anything horrendous.

A decent bar located on Wardour Street which is very popular. The bar was very busy on the Saturday night we visited and sometimes a bit hectic. Staff were polite and drinks served easily at the top bar however the lower level bar was absolutely packed and getting a drink there would have been a difficult task. Had to move from where we were due to the bar becoming very busy which was annoying but for safety reasons. A bit annoying that tables/areas were reserved which always causes problems in busy bars. Had a good time, if you are looking for a busy, happening bar in Soho, this one would be worth a look.

Really cool place... Slightly above the average price but hey... Soho ! Really cool visit! Anybody who likes a good coctail and nice surandings should stop by !!!!

Great cocktails and happy hour 4pm to 8pm daily. Nice atmosphere and friendly team .... a must pre or post dinner !

Came here on a Monday and boy we were surprised! Fun club with a show down stairs which was a lot of fun. You could sing and dance all night long.

The drinks here are expensive and so is entry. They always pack far to many people into the tiny space that they have and well, it's not very well air conditioned so expect to get sweaty. To top it off, they insist you must put bags and coats/jackets into the cloakroom, you do not have a choice. To make it worse, they then charge you £1 per item. You can't even put your coat in your bag if they've seen it. What a cheeky little rip-off. My advice, there are plenty of other, cheaper and nicer bars around Soho.

Love Freedom although my bank manager doesn't! Good place and worth a visit, lived the pornstar Martinees

We popped in for a Drink and stayed the night! Great happy hour,music,prices. Friendly staff. Table service but do need to book. We was lucky to get a table until the booking arrived.

Enjoyed a night here with straight friends recently. Good crowd whichever way you swing. Drinks a bit exxy but served promptly and with a smile. Didn't go downstairs but apparently is tantalising there too.

After a day and evening of drinking we were looking for somewhere which had cheesy dance tunes and a bar to end the evening. We found this place after a tip and weren't disappointed! Drinks were expensive but to be fair probably in line with central London. There was a drag queen act on when we first arrived but it was soon replaced with cheesy songs which we loved. Good laugh.

Came here unintentionally but had a great night. The bar staff were so polite and all qualified to be a 7/10 or above. Will definitely go again, if it wasn't obvious already!

We always go this bar. It's got a lovely vibe and stands out from the rest of the crowded soho bars. Their access is a bit exclusive and if you are nice to the bouncers, you could get in for free. We have always been looked after by John and Claudia. The drinks are a bit steep but then it's not the typical gay bar in soho. Tuesday's are cabaret nights with Danny D, quite fun if you are looking for stage entertainment.

No queuing at the bar even though it was a Saturday night. Friendly atmosphere, cocktails, dj, dancing, we had a great night. Security staff bit eager but better to be safe than sorry, however i was surprised my bag was not searched on entering.

I have just arrived at this bar only to be turned away as I was told I was not on the guest list. I work only round the corner from this bar and go 3 times a week for both business and personal reasons. I have a booking for a party for 30 people which I will be cancelling. Sort your security staff out they are wrecking your great business. London offers much more than this place. Just because your open till 3am does not make you the best place in soho. I work in hotels and know service is everything and only cos of today you have lost a very loyal customer. If you choose to resound to this feedback might make me re consider !!!

Difficult ones this as most bars, Lab excluded, in Soho are pretty poor, rammed, expensive, pretentious. This place was good overall and had a deal on cocktails, there was a big group of us, the drinks flowed, the service was good, better to get the guys to deliver to your table, as queuing up becomes a nightmare. All in all it seemed pretty good, music was at right volume so you would talk, and the security, as in bag searches and so on was very good indeed, which is nice to know.Bouncers got a bit heavy after a friend fell asleep late on... ha ha, we helped him to leave, but one of the main bouncers looked like he wanted to cause more hassle than he was worth, which was sad as rest of staff seemed nice, happy and served as quickly as possible. Did not let it spoil the evening, but worth saying he was a bit OTT. We did not eat, only drank, so cannot help with a food review.

So I had refused to go to freedom ever again due to an awful visit last year with rude staff, awful selection of beer and ciders, very random door policy and just a vile evening all round! Due to me working in the west end and having lots of friends attend this bar after shows have finished, I visited recently for a friends birthday! And all that had changed was the decor! They were refusing to use the draught beer pumps as 'they were broken' ... This has happened every Saturday I've been in the venue and is obviously a scam to make you pay more money for bottled beer... The music is odd and random, 30 seconds of a track you know and then 30 minutes of beats and odd sounds ... We're in soho! Don't cut a song unless you need too! Rude staff with no communication skills and very judgemental behaviour and all very overpriced! I don't mind spending money in an establishment that is happy to accept it! But don't make me pay for a gold sprayed turd ... As I said... Some things never change! If your looking for a good night in soho ... Don't go here ...

This is the best gay bar in Soho. Not exclusively gay, they are straight friendly. Great place to go and challenge other club red to a pole dance competition. The cocktails are great here! I can recommend the pornstar martinis and the jelly baby.

Arrivés à l'improviste sans réservation un samedi soir, nous avons eu la chance de trouver une jolie table donnant sur la rue et le quartier très animé de Soho. La décoration du lieu est superbe, le personnel aimable et les cocktails excellents !

Visiting London for work and had an excellent night here after a crap experience in some other Soho bars! Really great bouncers and excellent service. I'll definitely come back!

Well this is the best cocktail ivehad in ages. Thepornstar martini here is by far the best! Entertainment is great fun and very spontaneous! Looking forward to many more nights at this place!

I'm afraid this place is a tad on the skanky side. I feel it hides behind if darkened interior which seeks to hide the worn furniture and lack of investment. Wake up and smell the growing competition around you, in this day and age there is now excuse for a central soho business delivering and poor standard like this. I have no intention of ever returning to this place ever again, luckily there are many superior alternatives nearby. I will actively encourage others to keep away too.
