Freddy & Hicks in Glasgow City

Ubicado en el segundo café más antiguo de Edimburgo, es un regalo un poco escondido. Bien dirigido con una mezcla de lo tradicional y moderno completo con un mostrador de helados, dulces de la vieja escuela y una concurrida cocina pequeña. Mi compañero y yo paramos en el camino a un concierto. Cada uno tenía la hamburguesa de pollo caliente y trajimos porciones de papas fritas para acompañarla, lavadas con latas de jugo. El servicio es personal y excelente, todo es muy vibrante con una banda sonora de samba de fondo. La comida es de primera. Buena relación calidad-precio, aunque podría haber sido un gran más grande. Sin duda volvería de nuevo!

The vibes and the tunes here are immaculate. Friendly relaxed atmosphere with BYOB. If that's your thing. There booths for eating in are packed together but high backs provide lots of privacy. The food was amazing and exactly what we needed after a stressful day. My partner had the lazy fries and enjoyed the lazy alternative to eating a burger and fries. I had the BBQ burger and it was so good. You can really tell the quality of the beef and it's for a very reasonable price. Veggie options look very enticing so will surely be back again!

We love the atmosphere in Pollokshields/Strathbungo and we were lucky to see this gorgeous eaterie with cute tables outside . The sun was shining and we tried to rescue a dying bumble bee with sugar water and honey - it looked like it was going to make a recovery but didn’t . We all ordered burgers . Anna who served us must be the owner was lovely , friendly and very chatty to customers . Delicious grass fed burgers and my kids and partner raved about the fries , brioche buns and Mac n cheese . I had lovely naked cheese burger with salad . Great for people watching if weather is good and there are so many great shops in this area to visit after lunch . Anna said it’s really busy at night too . Highly recommend for casual meal

Great food with good options for gluten free (salads) and vegan. Friendly and helpful staff and a nice selection of pop classics on rotation.

They were just closing so could have easily turned us away or given us something sitting on the shelf but instead I got a beautiful freshly made falafel and cauliflower burger and fries. I was tempted by a meat burger but thought I’d give the veggie option a go and was a bit apprehensive. It was great however, really tasty as were the fries. Spot on - well worth a visit.

We had a mix of veggie and meat burgers plus chips plus salad - and loved it. We did the take-away option and everything went smoothly. Fully recommended!

Had an amazing seitan veggie burger, was so tasty and good toppings. Just like the real deal. Def recommend 👌🏼
