The Unit Restaurant in Glasgow City

The Unit is our absolute happy place! The food is sooo good. The venue is really funky. But what makes The Unit amazing is the staff and how they go out their way to make a lunch or dinner with young kids such a lovely experience. We loved it so much, we even got married here. It was perfect!

Amazing food and wonderful staff in a spacious venue with a great atmosphere. Not to mention their fantastatic charitable work for the local community. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic place! Food is excellent! We’ve had the brunch as part of a large group and it all came together and cooked perfectly which many places would have struggled to do for large groups. We’ve also been for the BBQ and the food was brilliant! The quality of the different sauces is great! Aside from the food it is such a relaxed place to go with the family. We have two young kids and they can have a play while waiting for food and we can enjoy some conversation knowing the kids are safe. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely fabulous, could not fault a thing. The help in the lead up regarding booking & disabled access, etc. was fast & efficient. Staff were friendly, food was Amazing!!! Even the kids were entertained with play area & pool tables! Will definitely be back!!

Such a fabulous, spacious venue. Excellent for families with room for kids to run about and play. Also pool table for older kids. Staff very welcoming and food amazing. Love the Unit! Also, profits from the restaurant are used to help find the Well Fed CIC which makes it even more worthwhile.

A wonderfully welcoming environment with great food. The staff are so lovely. We’ve been on numerous occasions and have always had a great time.

Our whole family visited today and the quality of the food was exceptional and we enjoyed great live music. The young staff couldn’t do enough for us and they seem driven to deliver a first class service. A great credit to our Glasgow youth. Keep up the good work guys.

We love The Unit! What's not to love about a great venue working hard to make real change in the local community. Run by the charity Well Fed Scotland, this restaurant is operated to support a wide range of food initiatives, education and well being programmes. The food is simple, comforting and served with a smile. New for the summer is a great summer bbq Airstream van serving the most delicious chicken wings, ribs and burgers. Supported by some cracking sweet potato wedges and other tasty sides, the menu is great. Their Sunday roast is outstanding too, with a portion for the puppers - it is very doggy friendly. It has a lovely outside seating area and is very spacious inside. You could not find a more family friendly restaurant either - with lots of space to run around with super understanding staff. Well worth a visit!
