Franzos Piri Piri in Redbridge

Not happy on this occasion, caused me stomach problems. Maybe it was just a bad batch of chicken.

Halal alternative to nandos. But very expensive.... Naaa

Fries was soggy this time, and the fries quality has gone down

The food was dry and chewy, the wings were so small not worth the price they charge. Ordered piri piri fries, received fries with a bit of sprinked powder on the top of the fries which they charge extra. The place used to serve good quality food at reasonable price but not anymore.

Customer service was maybe the worst ever, the food took forever and did not want to replace my food as I was lactose intolerant and couldn't have the cheese. I had to buy a whole new meal.

Delicious food and great service. For me, the was very quick to come and tasted fresh too! For the price, it's hard to say no! Saw they had stopped selling Coca Cola and Pepsi products so happy to support!

Not 1 to make negative reviews, however had to today unfortunately. Been a regular customer from day 1 & not sure what has happened to normal customer service & customer satisfaction. It is now about profit rather than people. A simple order missing rice could not be fixed, especially for iftar . Lost a regular customer, not like you care.

They scam you with prices and service staff lie.

This spot is amazing for anyone, whether that be collection or staying at the restaurant. I've een coming here for over 3 years and I've ever been disappointed by the amount of care that the staff have and how polite they've been. The food is always delicious, which is why I come back here time and time again.

Food was good, floor was mopped by the toilets with no sign, I almost slipped and the manager just brushed it off. Shock of the slip scared my wee wee away. Poor hospitality and next time will take this further than a review.

The food was decent. I had the chicken burger and wings meal. Staff were polite and helpful. Taste could be a bit better, but not bad once in a while.

I used to love Franzos but since they have become bigger they have become money hungry and have reduced portion size with increased prices plus exclude drinks from there menus and if you want a drink the prices are ridiculous. The staff have become rude.I would recommend the likes of KUKU or 5LADS who actually care for their customers and food taste has not changed.

Visited in December...quiet busy even though week-days.... Their smash burgers, wings are famous & widely famous.... Their taste is the reason they've been loved by the public, and its the first choice amongst masses when it comes for *Burgers* !! They have a huge price-hike going on which needs to be reconsidered !!

Honestly went there on a Saturday night place was absolutely rammed and still I was seated in 5mins and my food came in under 10 I don’t remember ever being served so fast and the quality of the food aswell was fresh and delicious definitely recommend it best spot on ilford lane

Portion sizes are good, and not has expensive has Nandos

I have been a customer for franzos for many years, on new years day ordered 2 whole chicken and sides but the taste was a dissapointment guys. Ps. It was also not possible to just order without the sides on uber eats and just-eat.

Pros: We visited Saturday night, expected a queue to sit down but were seated immediately. The food also did not take too long to come. Lots of seating areas, waiters were polite and helpful. Cons: The food used to taste amazing a few years back but now it’s gone completely down hill. Everything tasted bland, no flavouring at all. This used to be a family favourite as we always came here however they have really increased the prices now and decreased the taste of food so we will no longer be coming here which is a shame since it’s one of the few places in ilford lane suitable for families to sit and eat.

For nothing overly rated. A complete copy of Nandos, shamefully. Even the uniform, food and everything. Yet, not as tasty as Nandos but for nothing expensive. Service is very good though.

Food is nice just not worth the price. I work nearby so it’s convenient but their customer service is pisspoor. Just absolutely rude, dismissive and have attitude problems. I asked them multiple times where my food was after I waited almost 30min for a leb pitta and chips. Even when I asked the waiter he pretended as if he didn’t hear me and just answered looking like he couldn’t even stand me. Rude. Prices not worth it at all.

Everytime I go there have my dinner is superb no complains...have a place to pray as well and the foods are very fresh well cook

The customer service here was very poor. honestly, I felt discriminated against, the lady who was severing me did not have any basic manners she was very rude and when i asked her where my food was she rudely said just wait like i was a child and carried on with her night. They also took very long with the order and it was not worth the wait. The food was raw and the chips were soggy. When i asked for a refund they told me to leave the shop

Went here yesterday spent over £150, was not impressed at all with the chicken burgers, very thinly sliced breast meat, for the amount that’s being charged expect the chicken to be thicker than slices, won’t be going again

Their call order service is appalling. They always make you wait 2/3 minutes before answering the phone to make your order for collection. Bad customer service to make you wait on the phone They need a member of staff dedicated to just taking phone orders.

Really good taste but drinks are awful. If you wanna avoid cola.... Then dont give deadly taste in the price of cocacola. Brrr cola is not a good sub.

The food is alright but I have ordered burger and tikka pita and i dont think they peel the onions properly, the skin is really chewy not taken off.

Delicious food with good portion... Loved the whole chicken with pitta bread and the Lamb burger is great.

To be honest the food is awesome plus the service the way the manager manage it excellent even dho it’s busy still the manager provide us best service thanks to francos Ilford team , I’m regular customer any way but most the time I refer family friends to join us coz the team never let us down ever , ✌️

This place is the worst food I have ate in my life. Me and my friend went to eat late night food thinking it’s better than Nando’s instead they gave me diareah and poison. Also my friend was excited to try the burger however in the burger there was expired lettuce and hard rock dry chicken he felt like he was eating bread and that’s it. I recommend you going to Nando’s!!

Franzos used to be great. But now the portion sizes have reduced, a large portion of chips looks like a small portion, and it's impossible to share. A few chips popped into a small bowl. Staff are not willing to cook your food to taste. If you ask them, they will tell you that it's not on their 'system' so they can't do it. We got 10 wings, and we wanted to keep some plain for the kids and some spicy, the staff serving refused. Many years ago, before it expanded, it was no problem. Now the staff are very cold and do not care.

Decent food, though lacks original ideas. Some sauce options have been over done on the chicken pieces with sauce smothered all over it. Prices are almost at Nandos range, hence would go Nandos if that was nearby.

Just been to Franzos Ilford and What can I say! I would say it is the best flame grilled restaurant in town.. its the best in terms of quality and price.. we were welcomed by a member of staff and he showed where to sit... which was very nice of him and then we ordered the food at the check out and the food was brought to us.. the chicken was the highlight and it was very tasty, tender and finger licking good! I highly recommend you to visit Franzos and you won't be disappointed for sure!

visited this place couple of times with my friends.Mostly we order grilled Chicken ,chicken burgers and Chops in starter. Let me tell you their grilled chicken is succulent and tasty. I love the lamb chops which r so great.

A group of us (5) visited a few days ago. 2 of us orders Lebanese in pitta. Firstly we were shocked at how the prices have risen. Told they'd take 20-25 mins AFTER we had paid. Had we known before we'd have ordered something else. Our food took ages- none of the staff were really bothered when we kept asking about our food. In fact they seemed annoyed when we asked! After waiting almost 40 mins our food FINALLY arrived. They got an order wrong but my friend decided to eat anyway. Halfway through eating her food my friend found a long black hair in her wrap. The staff were taken aback yet didn't do anything at first. When one of our group voiced their distgust my friend was offered another wrap! After waiting 40 mins NO THANKS! A refund was given ONLY when we asked! The service was awful to say the least. Staff aren't in the least bothered about customers having to wait DOUBLE the time for their food. Their manner is standoffish and faces look like they clearly don't want to be there! Franzo's - you have put your prices up! I think it's time you upped your game with regards to waiting times and staff conduct with customers!

We visited for dinner and I ordered hallumi which was very poor. It tasted like over salted cheddar cheese and the staff were very rude about it. Food was overpriced but chips were good.

It was always the alternative place to visit over nandos as prices were a fraction of nandos. However my recent visit prices were almost similar to nandos. Food is still good however I just hope their popularity don’t ruin it for the locals.

I loved this place , but now I’m so put off cause they always missed food from my order and when I complained they made me feel like a liar ,this has happened to me on many occasions.food is too pricy and u have to buy a separate drink too. Best to go Nando’s where u earn rewards and you also get good customer service there too and u can fill the drinks as much as u want .will never come back to them anymore .

Lovely grilled chicken, and chops, quality salads with garlic bread and Mash, Peri fries too, plenty of seating, pay before you order, can get very busy on Saturdays, and wait times are long too. Parking is a pain unless you go later in the day. Overall a great place to eat, with options for kids too.

Used to be my favourite place to go for peri peri chicken but unfortunately the standards have gone down and prices are gone up .. it’s more expansive than Nando’s now … I have been a customer since they first opened the business but I will not be visiting again .

Used visit this place years ago then stopped for a some time. Took the family out on Friday recently and found that the place has developed/grown a lot bigger in seating capacity. The food was outstanding 5/5 on all the dishes. The chicken was marinated thoroughly, it was juicy. The wings were amazingly soft and delicious. The quality of the food definitely has improved. I gave it 4/5 on the service on the shop floor. The girls need to talk to the customers, asking if everything is okay or do we need anything, etc. Will be visiting very soon.

Firstly prayer room is a big big plus. Alhumdolilah. Food is always fresh and tastes good. Literally seen this place grow from one shop to nearly taking over the whole row of shops on this stretch. Just as good as nandos. Its cheaper and the portions are better. They accept card too. All food is halal. Food always taste fresh and they have amazing coleslaw.

They were really good prices but now a days, they increased the prices . Increased £3 in a platter . I used to go there regularly, 2 times a week, now... I have to go often and alternately I have to give a try to similar restaurants. I hope they will reconsider their prices.

Service was not great, food was cold, when mentioned, the food was reheated in the same dish and served again with the sauce microwaved. Lamb chops were the best thing! Wait time was longer than given on the receipt. Wont be back in a hurry!
