Myself and a friend have visited with our two daughters on a couple of occasions and been served by Chelsea, who has gone the extra mile in making us feel comfortable and ensuring all round service is of a high standard. She also remembered us, even though there had been quite a time gap between visits :)

Had a great lunch here with my son whilst we were waiting for a hospital appointment in the area - sue our server was so lovely and kind - couldn’t of been any nicer :)

Lovely staff who went above and beyond to make my teenage daughter feel special on her birthday. She visited with her friends and was treated to a free desert and happy birthday sung by the staff. Gorgeous food and a lovely atmosphere with wonderful staff. Thank you!

Came as a party of 8 and had a fantastic visit. Service by Chelsea was brilliant. Food was amazing, every need taken care of, everything came in good time and all together and service always at hand for any questions, fresh drinks etc. Will definitely be back.

We visited on Valentine’s Day as a family to celebrate my sons 13th birthday. We were greeted by Diana at the door and shown quickly to our table. We was taken care of by Chelsea who was so lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us to make sure we were having a fab night celebrating. All of our food was so tasty, and arrived quickly and very hot. As we asked for our bill, we were very kindly gifted frankie and bennys random act of kindness, and got money off our bill, which was just so unexpected and meant so much to us. Thank you so much Diana, Chelsea and team. We will definitely be visiting again!

Myself and family had a lovely meal out last night, the restaurant was busy but very well organised, what I will say is a huge appreciation to the two female managers on, there communication and organisation was not unnoticed by us and a few other people, It is not often you go to a restaurant where the managers are visible and even approaching tables and guests to check how they are, it was really nice to see. Food was lovely, the only thing I will mention is although my cheese fries were lovely the cheese Could Of been presented slightly better, did look abit like slime that has come out of a tube but it gave the children a good laugh. Second time we have visited this branch, the food is very mediocre and the selection is poor. The first thing they tell you is the amount of things they do not have available, which is a long list. We had vouchers for the free adult meal and was told that we could not have an alternative to meat (for a non meat eater). Very poor.

Visited with my best friend, we asked for a quiet spot as we were both tired and in need of a bit of peace, so our greeter was friendly and obliging and let us sit in an empty part of the restaurant. Our waiter (Adam) was really friendly and helpful and chatty and did a great job. Food was delicious (we had 3 courses plus milkshakes) and it all came out promptly. We cleared our plates! It is expensive so is a once in a while treat but all in all everything was wonderful.

The kids love it here and so do we, friendly staff and yummy food! Great atmosphere and always a pleasant visit

My daughter has just come home from a party with her friends, She would just like to thank the lady called Chelsea for her fantastic service towards my daughter, she can be very uneasy coming out due to her allergies, my daughter explained how she sat down with her and spoke about how the food was prepped and how it would be brought out separately, and that’s exactly what happened. My daughters day has been made and can not wait to come back! Thankyou to this brilliant women for putting my daughter in such a comfortable position to eat and succeeded in gaining her confidence of going out! Thankyou so much!

Highly recommend Frankies & Bennies at Broadway Plaza. As a couple we came for food and cocktails to start our evening off and what a lovely start it was. Beautiful cocktails, my favourite being the Strawberry Daiquiri. Food was delicious and our Waiter David I belive his name was (tall, smiley, male in a grey shirt). After visiting Plaza yesterday I was so happy to see the young man who has looked after me and my kids two times in most restaurants if a 14 walks in they get turned away but the lovely young man at Plaza smiled and sorted me and my family out with a table to fit 14 even though he was the only person serving. the food was great and came out so fast the kids love this restaurant and the server was again amazing.

Sometimes food can be excellent, but served in an unfriendly way. In this restaurant our whole family (11 persons) enjoyed the dishes and had a complete one women show by our waitress. Friendly and funny and good food, can it be better?

Went here with my children after a visit to Rockup across the way. Tired and very hungry kids, we arrived to be seated promptly and drinks served quickly. I ordered the fish and chips and it was cooked beautifully and very well presented. All meals were very enjoyable and desserts too. The most memorable thing about our visit was the service. The service was Exceptional. Our waitress Susan,s customer service was second to none, with her very accommodating and attentive service i was very impressed and she was a delightful lady too. Great food, warm atmosphere and Susan, our waitress, was the highlight of our visit; she was so engaging and went the extra mile to make us all feel welcome, and was extremely friendly with us all - she is a credit to the restaurant. The food we had was delicious and we tried the Whitley Neill Rhubarb Gin which was fantastic, and a rare find at a restaurant. 3 course lunch menu was priced at £11.99, and offered several choices for everybody. Will happily return at our next opportunity.

Went here a a week or two ago with friends after our go to italian place was closed. Sat outside as it was warm and ended up having an unexpectedly lovely evening. Shared some appetisers which were good (garlic bread pizza and chicken strips) but our waiter Craig really added to the evening with his great service and banter! In a girls night out and we stumble across this restaurant, which is practically empty. The man who greats us and shows us to our table is inviting and very chatty. But our waiter was even better. We had Craig serve us and he interacted with us so well, despite being tired. We were so impressed with his memory and banter. He really knows how to make a table of customers feel at home. I would seriously want to go back to just have Craig serve us again. Would defiantly recommend this restaurant to all, there is something for everyone. Literally! The menus is extensive.

Came in last night with my boyfriend. The food was great. My main came out cold, but was replaced with a new, tasty hot one with no grumbles. The starters drinks and deserts were really nice and our waiter Craig was great.

My daughter and i visited here after bowling and the service is generally poor. The male manager seems disinterested and left us standing there for 5 minutes before taking us to a table despite it being relatively quiet. 15 minutes later we get asked for a drink and from the outside it appears he just walks around and drinks coffee. Susan is an exception. She puts great detail in to engaging with customers and this rating would not have surpassed one if it wasn't for her finally coming to our rescue. Food generally is bland and the garlic bread was swimming with oil. Doubt we'll return.

Having been to the Frankies in Swansea for my oldest sons birthday where the staff went all out whilst very busy, my youngest wanted to do the same. So we decided to try the Birmingham branch. Wow what a difference! When booking we asked for a few balloons and anything else they did for birthdays like we had at the Swansea branch. When arriving there was nothing at all on the table. The service was incredibly slow even though they were half full. We had to wait ages to order, when we had finished no one cleared our table. We had to stop a waitress to order desserts for the kids and when they arrived they still hadn't cleared our table. My 6 year old boy was so devastated because his brother got a cake with the staff singing happy birthday and a gift in Swansea.

A catch up with friends on a late Saturday afternoon, we were greeted and given a choice of tables, we were given plenty of time to pick food as we were too busy chatting (you can often tell that this annoys the waiters but not here !) we ordered drinks that came quickly and then ordered food, we had a couple of little tweaks to the menu that were adhered to. The food came quickly, was hot , correct and really scrummy. we ordered plenty more drinks throughout the evening and all came quickly. again we were given plenty of time to pick desert, more drinks and to split the bill. The restaurant got very busy as the evening went on, one couple were really drunk and the manager handled the situation brilliantly. Lots of tables turned over while we were there and we felt no pressure to hurry up. The whole evening was fab, great friends, great food & lots of cocktails. I would highly recommend visiting here ...being served by the rather gorgeous Matt was an added bonus !

Went for family dinner! Decent ambiance however had no chicken in starters... no ingredients and options in desserts... so did not had starters and desserts, therefore had to stick with mains only. In main , food serve (pasta) very cold... positive- staff was friendly

At lunchtime on March 6th, we went to Frankie and Benny's as a family to celebrate a 70th and a 5th birthday party. The food was great and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. In particular, Susan and Elise went the extra mile to make the occasion truly special and were fantastic with the kids. Thank you for a great meal and great fun :-)

Ordered a pint of Staropramen at the bar, the barmaid handed me a drink that was mostly froth, I asked her if she could please pour the drink properly, she turned to the other barmaid, rolled her eyes and said "Oh my God, what a cheap grinch"! At £4.45 a pint, I expect it to be a full pint and served with no rude attitude. Won't be going back.

We arrived Sunday afternoon for some food and was quickly seated to the table. The waiter asked if we'd like some drinks, although we needed two more minutes to have a look at the drinks menu. Approx 10 mins later no one had returned to the table and eventually I managed to make eye contact with one of the waitresses and asked if someone could take out order.

Drinks did not arrive with meal. Asked waitress after 5 minutes, who said she would get them. She disappeared, the few other staff were busy/ out of sight. We ended up eating our meal without drinks, while constantly looking for staff. Staff were not bothered or empathetic when we complained, but offered discount. The food was nice, but this is an American style restraunt where you expect a feel good atmosphere and top notch customer service. Avoid this branch.

Myself and a party of 7 people came here after our exams to have lunch. The restaurant was pretty empty apart from about 4 or 5 other tables.

Well having been in Rock up decided big mistake to give this place a try - it was not busy when we arrived lots of empty tables - but we had to wait for 40mins in the bar.. maybe to make us spend more on drinks... eventually we are shown to our seats orders placed, menu is fairly basic - we ordered and then after waiting for 45mins we had to ask were our food was? Still not ready was the answer. This place seems to not be very good at many things.... wish we had read the other reviews before visiting. When eventually food arrived it was of very poor quality and stone cold !!!! The only items that came hot were chips in bowls - we thought we could see our order waiting on the counter for ages then realised it was our food - clearly their hot lamps don’t work and not good practice either !! All the pizza’s were cold - they are more like flat pancakes with limited toppings than pizza !! All tasteless. The pasta and meat balls was freezing cold. Naturally we complained and they did reheat things but this did nothing for the quality of the food. The burgers are horrid and frozen cheap meat, tasteless and chewy!!!! They took off the price of one meal - big deal - they should have paid us for wasting our time !!! Avoid this place at all costs !!!!!!

Went in after climbing at rock up on a whim at around 11.30. Only intended on having milk shakes but opted for kids meals as such good value. The meals were an excellent size and lovely with plenty of drinks including chocolate milk. The lady who served us was outstanding, couldn't do enough for us and was fantastic with all five children. Really impressed.

Had a lazy day and decided not to cook so headed for Frankie and Bennys for tea. Seated quickly by a very friendly server called Julie. She made the experience more enjoyable with her friendly chat and efficient service. Food was lovely and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will return again soon.

So allow me to start by saying WOW!!! Wow wow wow wow wow. Myself and my wife have lived in Birmingham now for almost 20yrs. I'm a commercial airline captain working for British Airways, who started flying out of Birmingham airport back in the late 90s. So last Saturday myself and colleagues had arranged to meet up somewhere local, to discuss upcoming flight regulations, and Frankie & Bennies popped up mid conversation. I love Italian food, and that's a good job as I met my wife in her native Naples back in the 80s. So to get to the point, I'd like to say how clean and fresh looking the interior and exterior was. The front of house staff were very efficient in seating our party of 7, taking our drink order straight away. Drinks turned up within 5 minutes and the lovely waiter and waitress then proceeded to ask us about our starters and mains promptly. I myself had the spaghetti bolognese, which was sublime may I say, but not as good as my wife's I was told to say. Other colleagues had calamari, steak, carbonara and all the food looked amazing. The toilet facilities were also kept to a high standard of cleanliness, and all staff were very pleasant and professional. I had an accident towards the end of our wonderful meal, dropping my glass of wine. Within a few minutes a manager came over to reassure me there was nothing to worry about, and poured me a new glass of wine at no extra cost to myself, by which time the broke glass had been removed. I didn't recognise the managers accent, but believe he was Eastern European. So whether you're looking for great food at a reasonable price, a full selection of drinks available, or a cosy comfortable atmosphere with consistent friendly helpful staff, Frankie & Bennies is the place for you.

Visited in August with 5 others, on a friday at 9pm. On arrival we were told in no uncertain terms that the kitchen was closed for burgers and steaks. Apparantly they clean the grills early and so at 9pm nothing more is available. Good start! We continued to order, and I am gluten free, so decided to order a Spaghetti Bolognese. What came out was more like gravy poured onto pasta bullets!
