Set menu delight Had an early breakfast and then travelled 100+ miles towards home- by tea time we were near the 4 Seasons and peckish We ordered the set menu meal A for 2 £22.50 per person. The food was delicious, maybe slightly more pepper on the fillet steak for me - but I am a bit of a non pepper man anyway, my wife is though. Had a glass of Spanish Shiraz, and the bride, Sauvignon Blanc from Chile - both good. Lovely bottle of Malvern sparkling water assisted the transit. No room for a pud. We were surprised at how many people eat out at 6pm, on a Sunday evening, as the room filled up but it didn't alter the speed and quality of service for us. We thought everyone will have had the buffet 4 Seasons offers on a Sunday. You live and learn. All good. Will return.

Upton is a bit of a desert for coffee shops. Mojotos sells hot drinks, cocktails and pizza plus other things. It has a great vibe. Sue is now in a small mobility scooter and the barmaid rushed to open the second door to let her in (thanks). We had 3 different hot drinks - all were tp notch. We will return.

We eat here very frequently and has always been amazing. However, we ordered a meal for a family and half of the food was missing. When we called the response was ‘we are busy’ which we understand but not a great excuse for half a meal missing. The chip portion size used to be amazing but in the last few months, a portion of chips has been ridiculously small and poor quality. Burnt loaded fries and underdone bacon.

Very quaint and friendly. Superb service. Freshest for breakfast. Creamy scrambles...the way they should be. Top quality bacon....cooked to perfection. Thumbs up for a top pad!

I've visited many restaurants in Paris, Rouen, Reims and Lille over the past two years including the Moulin Rouge and other hotspots. The food here and in particular the presentation and balance of flavours was superior to many of those. The Amuse bouche was mushroom with black truffle and pepper, excellent. Starter was six succulent escargot and Autumn chicken breast for the main all washed down with a glass of cabernet sauvigon. It was so good and I savoured every mouthful over the next hour. The service was better than experienced in France where waiting on is seen as a profession and not a weekend student job. Clearly someone has provided good training to the team as they knew their job without being intrusive and enhanced the dining experience. I had picked this Establishment for the night solely because of the restaurant and I was not dissapointed. The lack of Internet connection in room 16 would be annoying for many ant the TV was very small. That aside the room was comfortable, well coordinated and furnished nicely. Very clean and tidy. All staff I met were cheerful and helpful. Watch the parking on site as its somewhat haphazard with whit lines faded and confusing the hell out of you. I parked on the main road in the end as it was much easier. So in summation, if you want an excellent astronomical experience in great surroundings then book this restaurant/ hotel. The hotel us called COTFORD Hotel. I paid £99 for one night plus the cost of the meal naturally.
