Just got back home after possibly one of the best and most satisfying indian meals that i have had for ages. I went with my wife and two friends and we are all unanimous in the fact that was the best. The staff were lovely. The restaurant is bijou and is basically a front room. But the food we had was delicious. I had the Orange chicken and it was truly amazing. I also followed it with ice cream, which was basically a Vienetta. it finished off a great evening and we will be back. I am sure that I have not been to Pundits before, my wife thinks otherwise. But hopefully the next visit won't be far away.

Yet again a fantastic meal! Great atmosphere chatting to other people in restaurant, We have eaten here many times and never had a bad experience.

Recently ordered a meal for four and just prior to being served my wife fell ill. The meal was bagged as a takeaway and due to being no local taxis they offered to take us back to where we were staying. The meals were fantastic and as for the service it was extraordinary given the circumstances. Would definitely use again on our next visit. Top drawer

This was my first visit to Pundits since moving to the area 2 years ago, don't get me wrong I have tried other establishments in Upton but they are crap, so I have been travelling back to the City for a decent curry - not anymore and I couldn't be happier with "my new find" The Sheek kebabs were gorgeous, you could cut with a spoon they were so soft fresh, tasty and yummy ( my absolute favourite's) We had our usual Mixed Balti and again after a tentative first taste you could taste the right amount of spice, the freshness came through with the flavours and plenty of meat that melted in the mouth, this accompanied by fried rice and a coriander naan made my night. Yes i am a foodie so its brilliant to have a top end eatery like Pundits so close by. I have already booked a table for a weeks time!

We called and managed to get a table in the height of the Blues Festival when they opened at 430pm. Central village location. Impressed with service, quality and price. Would definitely recommend.

Another great meal at Pundits 😁 the staff are lovely and friendly and the food is excellent. A really great place for an excellent Bangladeshi meal.

Disappointed with my annual visit to this restaurant with my Dad. It's usually a great meal but we both found our curries a bit thin and lacking flavour. We were very rushed by the staff who told us our main was ready as we'd barely even eaten one poppadom. In fairness it was a festival weekend and they were probably under pressure. Disappointed this time especially as 2 curries, 2 rice, 1 side, 4 poppadoms, 1 beer and 1 water came to £58!

We had a lovely meal (starters and main courses ) at Pundits last night. Great food and great staff. We will certainly be visiting again.

Hesitant to try this out while visiting Upton since it looked so small from street window, but glad we did since there is a good sized main dining room and there is also a courtyard area at the back. Service was excellent and friendly and timely. Food was all superb: very tasty, accurate level of heat and spice that matched the descriptions on menu. All the dishes were very different from one another and there were some dishes on the menu that I haven't seen elsewhere. Lovely atmosphere. The five of us had a wonderful evening and enjoyed the hospitality very much. Would highly recommend.

it is the best meal i and my wife have had out for a very long time they only thing is please make shaw you now what you are ordering just ask the people that are running it, the staff are first class as is the food please book up or you may be out look this is how good this place is

Fantastic! What a find - delicious, authentic food, friendly and efficient service, even smiles from the kitchen. Quirky and intimate setting with just five tables. Feels like being in someone's home. Will definitely return - I envy the locals!

Interior is lovely, waiting staff are so friendly, and food is delightful. Pashwari naan, in particular, was amazing. Got a free plate of onion bhaji which were really tasty. Was very generous too. Great menu!

Delicious Lamb Korahi. We were a table of six and the service was quick and very efficient. We all enjoyed our meal - we will be back! Highly recommended.

Extremely disappointing meal, a world away from my previous order from Pundits. Madras sauce was the consistency of slush puppy, and the flavour was unrecognizable. Delivery driver went to the wrong address before I shouted out my window, and all dishes were cold.

Very friendly staff, quick and really tasty. Large portions and good selection. The place is small but cozy and very clean. Highly recommended, fair prices.

Visited for dinner while seeing some friends locally. They booked it and we were super impressed. It was a cold evening. But there was a large heater on ready. Perfect! Service was very good. Nice friendly chat with everyone and all the right orders came out. Loved how all the plates and bowls were warmed beforehand, made such a difference to keeping the food hot. Flavours of food was lovely. Everything came out together which was great.

Fab food here as always the best Indian food around.

I have been to pundits at many acasions there food is not only delicious it is made in a kitchen you can see from the dining area the staff are wonderfully and it's a lovely place to go on a night out

Several notches up from your regular curry house. Fresh, inventive, spicy. Glad I ordered a naan, hot, fluffy and crisped on the edges. Perfect! Strongly recommended.

One of the best curries I have had in years

What a wonderful night food was so so good and we could not have been looked after better this is the best food for miles.

This very special restaurant is a real gem! The staff are so friendly and the food is the best of India. We visit very often and always get the friendliest of welcomes. If you visit the village of Upton Upon Severn this is the best place to enjoy your evening meal.

Came across this lovely little restaurant by accident and we were intruiged by the menu which had many dishes we had never heard of before plus all the normal ones. We had a fabulous meal which had very well cooked, individually flavoured dishes , all of which were delicious. Service is good and friendly and the price was very reasonable. Very highly recommended.

Terrible , chicken tikka madras was not tikka meat and definitely not spicy my 10 year old could eat it, Naan bread with extra baked in Hair, when I called to return they refused and offered me a free naan next visit. So in all I had a meal to feed my bin and and will never return so the next customer please enjoy my naan bread , it’s on the house.

We visit Upton every year in May when we come for the Folk Festival and when we come we always eat at Pundits. The people are very respectful and polite. The food is exceptional and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you want, as long as they have the ingredients.

Pundits is one of the very best and the delivery was spot on very pleased

WOW! Flavour, heat, texture. Everything I want in restaurant food is right here. Fish Pakora nice and "meaty". They use telapia and this was the best I've had. 5 decent chunks and a good bit of salad with yoghurt sauce, lemon and orange. Pundits Platter Tamarind Chilli. Just wow! Mix of meat and prawns in a spicy, huge-flavoured sauce with onion and fresh chilli and comes with a sensible portion of pilau rice. The garlic nan was so perfectly cooked I finished the whole thing off and didn't feel ridiculously bloated. I cannot see anybody who likes Bangladeshi food being disappointed with this place. The service was exceptional! A must try.

Been dining here for many years without an issue....BUT..just recovering from 36 hours in bed through severe food poisoning after eating here. I won't risk dining here ever again!

Me and my girlfriend have been eating here for years and we are consistently impressed by everything. The food is delicious, and there's a good selection of both food and drinks. We came here for Valentine's Day and had a chicken balti and mango chicken curry from the specials - highly recommended. Best Indian restaurant for miles, give them a try and you'll never be disappointed.

Was camping in the area and popped in on our first night. Staff were very lovely and welcoming and the food was some of the best I have tasted! Tried some new things and loved it all. Also very reasonably priced! Would definitely go again if in the area

On the advice of our B&B host - Darrell at Old St B&B - we tried Pundits Fusion last night. Awesome place! Lovely flavors with a subtlety that is all to often lacking at lesser restaurants. Highly recommended, and the staff were superb and accommodating as well.

I have been using Pundits for many years now and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious and fresh tasting the naan breads are the best I have ever had from any Indian restaurant I also like that you can have a "pundits mix" which is lamb chicken and prawns all in the same dish. I literally cannot fault this place other than its not close enough to my house as its a 16 mile round trip but worth it every time. I have dined in here several times too and the service is excellent. I would advise going at the weekend as I think it may be a different chef as I swear the food is even better than on a week day.

Small, warm and friendly, excellent service and first rate food! We first are here on Thursday evening at the start of our weekend and returned for seconds on Sunday evening to round it off!

Decided to try Pundits after seeing all the positive reviews and they definitely deserve them. Food was incredible best I have ever tried. I had a butter chicken (not on the menu but they made it for me anyway :) Lovely atmosphere the staff are very friendly and will meet your needs. Will definitely be coming back here!! Visited this delightful curry house last night. What little food we had was delicious and the hospitality welcoming in this tiny dining restaurant. However, on reflection and since scrutinising the prices on their menu, I am disappointed and feel we have been overcharged since we only had 2 chicken baltis with spinach, 2 x boiled rice, 1 x plain nan bread, 1 x small glass of water + 1 x small lime cordial / 113 ml soda water = > £31. That represents poor value for money.

We were visiting Upton upon Severn and saw all of the positive reviews so thought we’d give it a try. We had a selection of mains and sides, the flavours were delicious and the staff were incredibly attentive. Would highly recommend this restaurant, everything was perfect and great value for money

This was the first time I have ordered but it definitely won't be my last. Delicious, flavour packed portions of food at good prices! I also need to add that I had a vegetarian option and it was packed with a variety of vegetables.

This place came highly recommended and did not disappoint. My friend and I meet a couple of times a year and we where both very impressed. Lovelly ambience, friendly staff and excellent food. I had a lamb mossola dish which melted in my mouth. A excellent mix of flavours. Nan, rice and side dishes all cooked to perfection too. Will certainly be back.

As ever the food was excellent and the service second to none. The wife and I shared the main course tandoori platter, added a couple of vegitavle side dishes, and were full! Every visit we try another dish and have always bee delighted with the results.

We were recommended to give Pundits a try by the owner of the B&B we had a night’s stay booked at and the recommendation was an excellent one, especially for people like us who regularly eat and thoroughly enjoy Indian cuisine! The food was delicious and the service excellent! We were so well looked after and will definitely return on any future visit to Upton on Severn!
