We ate at Trishna again last night and as usual the standard was fantastic. The food here really is delicious and the service is excellent. Try it if you have the opportunity.

Firstly greeted by the staff, lovely seating arrangements in comfortable surroundings, as for the menu, a fantastic choice, myself and three colleagues have different tastes but all left extremely satisfied, will definitely return.

Simply fantastic in every way. Don’t think we’ve EVER eaten better food. Great service too - thank you No hesitation but to recommend this establishment to everyone

Chondon and his team never fail to amaze. Had a first class meal today which was beautifully presented. The staff are always attentive and greet you with a warm welcome . Thank you very much will see you again soon.

What can i say !.Am actually writing this review before going this evening as i know everything will be excellent .The food has always been amazing in the 18 years that we have been going, so i would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting authentic Bangladeshi Cuisine.Nothing is too much trouble here, they are always willing to offer their knowledge of the food served.Just go you will not be disappointed.

an overnight stay on the joined from devon to Liverpool. had the chicken sagenwalla and sides and it has to be amongst the best curry I have eaten. can't remember what the others had except that we all agreed it was the best curry we had eaten . good portion sizes and served hot. good atmosphere and attentive staff. would highly recommend this restaurant

Excellent! Dined in a group of 4 regular consumers of Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine; this was definitely up there with the very best. Friendly welcome and helpful, attentive service. Heat options on most dishes which was useful and the flavours were distinctive. Attractive presentation and excellent quality - even the dips/pickle selection was impressive.

We called in on the off chance for a table for two and a table was set up and made available to us without any problem. We ordered poppadoms and mixed chutneys to start. These were fresh and tasty and we were given plenty of time before our main meals arrived, (Lamb Joypuri, Garlic Chilli Chicken, Pilau Rice & Keema Naan bread. Great quality food, cooked beautifully and tasted authentic. It was also another customers birthday and the staff team joined in making it a special evening for all the family celebrating. Great food, nice ambience and attentive staff....we even took our leftovers home! Thank you to all the team at Thrishna's....we will be back!

Best curry in a long time. We are staying g in the cottage opposite and got a takeaway. Everything was superb and tasted great. I recommend the Rahad Green Herb with chicken. Such a good taste and the naans etc were perfect.

A superb curry restaurant, Bangladeshi rather than an Indian and all the better for it. Decent value, generous portions, delicious food and friendly service. Some traditional Indian dishes but lots of authentic Bangladesh dishes to boot. If you are in the area and want a curry, go.

First time visit here whilst in the area for an event. Enjoyed a decent meal here. The naan was perfect and all dishes different. Good service and delicious food! Hot towels and after eights were a treat at the end as many places have stopped doing this

Out here for mid-week meal with a group of mates, we often eat here. Great tasting food, good sized portions and really good service. Couldn't ask for more (you don't need to, the portions are great!). Highly, highly recommended.

1st time ordering from this place as we are away in our camper for the weekend and found this place to deliver to us friendly guy on the phone beautiful food we had tandoori mixed grill and chicken shashlik . . . driver very friendly will defo use again 😀

We eat out a lot and often Indian/Bangladeshi food. This was truly great food served here with some nice and slightly unusual items on the menu. Friendly service and reasonable pricing were very welcome and we had a great evening. We are not local......shame.

Ordered takeaway for my mother in laws birthday. 2 meals delivered were wrong. We discovered the first one was wrong and when we spoke to the restaurant, they delivered us the correct dish. The 2nd dish we didn't realise was incorrect until the person took their first mouthful and discovered it wasn't mild as he'd asked for. We spoke to restaurant who apologised and offered us a free dish next time we order.

Not at all surprised by the high reviews here. We were a group of 8 on a Thursday evening and all agreed this was the best Indian restaurant experience in memory. The food stood out for its quality and variety as did the cheerful and friendly attentive service. They even happily adjusted the garlic rice dish to my preference (something approaching garlic with rice!) Some places just get it right and Thrishna certainly did, to the point that my wife and I are returning tonight, just 2 days later, despite the 50 minute journey from Hereford.

Two successive curries whilst at the Upton Jazz Festival. Last night, the lamb and mushroom Balti was really good as was the service and atmosphere. Tonight U had the chicken and mushroom balti and again a very tasty dish. Thanks to AJ for being very pleasant and helpful. Regards Dave

One of the best curries I’ve had in a long time - and loads of vegetarian choice. They could do with investing in better ice and some fresh lime for drinks, but the food alone was worth 5 stars.

Superb, had the Archari chicken and egg fried rice. Both bought to me on hot plates, and needed to wait for it to cool down. Both were very tasty, and chicken was beautifully tender.

We have dined at Thrishna's several times over the past 5 years and have never been disappointed at the fantastic food, hospitable staff and 5* service. They also offer takeaway which has always been full of flavour and good portion sizes. I would highly recommend supporting this wonderful local business!

We went there with my Wife , sons and their girlfriends for a family meal. The food and service was excellent. Staff very attentive and made sure my son's partner's nut allergy was catered for. Been there for a few meals. The food's always top notch.

What a fantastic dining experience, the food was so tasty and fresh and and the staff were so accommodating to dietary requirements. They were also incredibly attentive all night, ensuring that me and my family had a great meal. I was so pleased with the service and the delicious food. Never have I enjoyed eating at a restaurant such as this one. I ordered a paneer curry with naan and rice and it was exquisite to taste. The paneer was so thick and spicy to my exact liking. I am usually quite fussy about eating out for Indian, however this exceeded my expectations. The staff were so friendly and the host was absolutely amazing! Will be coming back here no doubt.

Just had an excellent meal here, our first visit. The peshwari naan was the best I have ever tasted. The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome that we highly recommend Thrishna and will no doubt visit again very soon.

We haven't been here for years, it was a cold wet mid November night in Upton so the atmosphere was lacking, but that's Upton, Food and service was really good. Bordering on excellent infarct. We will return 👍👍👍👍👍

Ordered a delivery from here having never visited the place but found a menu at the caravan park. Order arrived on time , and was very tasty ! We ordered for 2 adults snd 3 children. Highly recommend the vegetable balti, and chicken rezalla. If you order a portion of rice it is enough for 2 not 1. Useful to know when ordering for family.

One of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. On entering it feels very clean and appealing. You are greeted by friendly and helpful staff, nothing is too much trouble. The food is out of this world, full of flavour, well presented and leaving you with feeling satisfied but at the same time wishing the experience would not end. We both thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time there. We will visit again in the near future and recommend this establishment to all.

On the main road through Upton on Severn so parking may be tricky at busy times

I have had a take away from Thrishna previously but never dined in. It didn't dissapoint - good food, good service. It may be a good idea to book ahead - we got there on a Friday and it was busy.

Lovely meal, freshly cooked, great choice, I had prawn puri for starter, delicious and bigger prawns than normal. I had three veggie side dishes, absolutely yummy and husband had a wonderful lamb dish, and the lamb was so tender. Our eyes were bigger than our bellies. So I took home the remainder tarka daal and half my roti and had it for breakfast. 😁 The staff were very attentive and friendly. When in Upton, go here for a curry.

What a meal. We spent the weekend in Upton on Severn traveling from Wales. The flavours in the food was outstanding. From the time we walked in till the time we walked out the service was second to none. Best Indian we've ever had. Thank you would definitely return.

Usually use another Indian restaurant in Upton but thought we'd try Thrishna for a change. WOW!!...Could not be more pleased. Fantastic food and great service. As it was a Wednesday it was quiet but very pleasant. Had a great chat with the owner who seemed genuinely pleased to meet us and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be making this our destination for future Indian meals and takeaways. VERY highly recommended. Looking forward to our next visit (Kev & Helen)

Went for the Christmas day menus, Asian and traditional turkey. Both superb. My chicken korma, just fell off the bone, supporting lamb tender, flavoursome. My wife's turkey was generous with great roast veg. Staff focus impeccable. Will be going again...
