Quiet and very pleasant, staff very attentive and accomodating helping with pureeing pizza for us for our disabled friend. Would come again and recommend the food as it was delicious

The food was okay. I had a hot dog and chips which was nice enough although the hot dog would have been better without the onions. The atmosphere was okay although the music was a bit loud and I struggled to hear my friends.

Our first visit to a Frankie & Benny's and it went very well. Greeted and sat quickly then our server was a lovely lad who took time to explain bits on menu to us. The food was delicious with a particular thumbs up from me for the extra side of ribs. Just wish I had ordered more!

Very poor. Burnt garlic bread. Cold burger and long waiting time. Wont be goi g back and wouldn't recommend

Tonight was date night we only do 1 a month so we’ve been looking forward to this. Started off great with the milkshake I had, thick, delicious and perfect! The food came out, as for eating with my eyes ..I did. I ordered the dirty dog. It looked very appealing. My boyfriend ordered chipotle chicken halloumi burger. We had onion rings to share. My boyfriends meal was fine he said he enjoyed it. My hod dog was hard and couldn’t cut it properly. I tried to eat it but the thickness of the skin and the sausage itself was awful. Make me feel sick. We asked how they were cooked, the waiter said “boiled” so I knew the hot dog wasn’t cooked. The waiter asked if I wanted it replaced or something else. I said something else. So had the bbq crispy chicken burger. While I waited they brought me a jug of water. The food was piping hot, but overdone. The crispy texture was like eating charcoal. The waiter took the food away and apologised. The onion rings got left because they were very oily. I wouldn’t return for an evening meal. Maybe for drinks. The waiter was brilliant. He deserves to be working elsewhere, not having to deal with mardy people such as myself. But dealt with everything himself which I appreciated.

Really disappointed on our visit. When my husband suggested F&Bs i was over the moon. The last time i went in Stafford it was amazing. This was not. There wasn't a lot of the options we used to be able to order on offer anymore but thats okay so we opted for burgers, steak and a childs meal. The burger was a little dry and not like what they used to be. The steak was ok but very gristly. Childs meal was good cant go wrong with nuggets. Portion sizes are much smaller than before. The milkshakes didnt taste like the luxury delicious ice cream shakes they should've tasting more like nesquick with cream on top. Very disappointed. The girl who did oir order was pleasant enough. The team there though overall are very young and they spent a lot of their time sitting around which seemed very unprofessional. There werent a lot of people in there and there was no fun atmosphere that i used to enjoy about the brand. If anything the lack of care by the team and the lack of upbeat fun atmosphere was borderline uncomfortable. I would not recommend and would not return.

Oh dear what has happened to Frankie and Benny's? Where has the fantastic music gone? Where has the atmosphere gone? Where has the great food gone? Where has the great environment gone?Much smaller menu choice, much smaller portion sizes, much much higher prices. Having said that the service was good. We haven't been here for a while and won't be going back. So sad to see such a previously fantastic restaurant self destruct. Huge disappointment, couldn't recommend.

Omg what can I say overpriced frozen slop Loaded potato skins not cooked properly and out of a box . I had chicken burger which was as tuff as an old boot . Would not recommend. Staff are nice and helpful.

This place has really gone downhill the food is bland microwaved and cheap but they charge you top prices, had to send a pizza back as it came out stone cold the rest was disgusting . We will definitely not be returning.

Called in 8 pm on 15th Dec on way home from Wildlife Park. Quickly offered seats and drinks. Different menus explained to us. All food was great, even our 2 yr olds cod goujons were exactly that - strips of pure fish. Lasagne was the best I’ve had in a long time. Will 100% return. Staff very personable.

What can we say outstanding service from the moment entering quickly acknowledged very friendly young man . We arrived earlier for our sons birthday celebration no problem taken to a lovely comfortable booth seating area given all the relevant menus and asked a few question about an offer and told what the offer was straight away fabulous. Offered drinks ASAP whilst waiting for the other guests to arrive . We had 3 children at this party who are autistic so very sensory the music was turned down , nice and quiet and blinds down so not bright , our server was an absolute diamond literally running round for our every need nothing too much of an issue even when I was stresses about an offer , just said relax we will take care of it . So I was able to relax properly then our food arrived quickly and wow tasty & hot the kids had a few issues quickly dealt with and Birthday cake spot on sang happy birthday . Just went above abs beyond so a big shout out to Alex what an asset to the team and rest of team wonderful and Kerry too for over seeing all going good . We came out for a late lunch with our 2 children 2 and 11. It’s been a lovely visit with perfect service from Start to finish. Our waiter Luke was particularly amazing! He’s so friendly and professional, nothing too much trouble! It just makes for a lovely experience all round. The food has all been spot on. Me and my fiancé especially enjoyed trying the mushroom starter on the Autumn specials. We’ve been a couple of time also for breakfast in the past 2 weeks, and again such polite service l and food always delicious. I feel the food is 5 star! We’ve had a lovely time :)

Good afternoon, I would like to put in a serious complaint about the manager who was on duty at the Doncaster branch @3pm on Thursday 4th Aug. We came for a special birthday lunch for my 5 year old, as we love how you play the Happy Birthday and have attended these resturants many of times and loved our experience. However this time it was far from a lovely special lunch. Just to sum it up...we orfered from the 2 for £11.90 menu both myself and elderly mother in law..my.son ordered from the kids menu...(we were given both menus 2 order from as we say down). Once we got the bill we noticed we had been charged full price from the main menu..we had also bn charged for a Capri Sun extra..even thou the waitress told is we cld have this with kids meal. The waitesses then triedto give us back £1 odd in lots of loose change...but we were due back alot more than that...she then got manager as she told us she couldnt refund us? Never heard of this ever in a resturant..anyway the manager came over with the most appauling attitude his first words to us were "and the issue is"? He then told us it was to late for us to order from the "2 for £11.90" so we were charged full price...but the waitress gave us this menu...and took our choices from it also? Do we had no idea...then he kicked off about the Capri Sun and asked if i was blind not to see this wasnt a drink option on menu..i was in shock how he spoke to myself...he told us he wld not give us a cash refund..but charge the card again £45 (my elderly mother in law treated us) she could not afford this 2 be deducted again..we could not understand why we could not be refunded the £15 odd diff..or given vouchers..or a credit instead the manager got so angry..slamming down the condiments...called myself " a disgusting human being" snd asking us to leave the shop..we didnt raise our voices nor swear..but he was out of control mentally and should not be in a customer facing manager role...we were shaking as we left..he came right up to me..i honestly thought he may have went further...my little boy started 2 cry as we left..it completely ruined what was supposed 2 be a family bday treat. I was in shock and disgusted how myself and mother in law were treated and spoken to. Ive never experienced anything like it and still in shock. Employees like that jist give your franchise a bad name...we did not get a refind in the end..nor an apoligy..i get mistakes happen..the waitress gave out wrong menu..and over charges happen..but they are rectified by management and professionally. I hope this individual is spoken to ..also still not happy that we were over charged..my mother in law is out of pocket and she shldnt be 4 ure staffs error. Thank you C Hill

This is by far the best Frankie & Benny's of all the ones I've been to. The menu is better (not all restaurants have the same menu). Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff who are always friendly and welcoming. Their Mushroom Bianca is to die for and even better with chicken Their steak salads are really tasty and the food always comes quickly and is always cooked fresh. So much better than the one at Sheffield Cineplex and the one on Oxford Street in London.

Waited 25 minutes for our drinks, hot drink was then mildly warm, another 25/30 minutes on top for mains even though only two other tables, staff spent more time chatting then paying attention to what was happening. The meals were okay when arrived however one had no salad or content other than one lettuce leaf and the burger, considering had been waiting for nearly an hour was disappointed with the lack of food, then had to wait a substantial amount of time to have table cleared even though 3 waiters were walking around, for the price of the food, would have expected a bit more professionalism

Clearly a busy place on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Quick service despite being busy. Food was a little cold and we did feel rushed - one server tried to remove my husbands plate while he was still eating (there wasn’t a que and several tables were empty) but overall a good experience and will return. Decaf coffee was very nice which was a bonus.

So welcoming, friendly and helpful staff, very accommodating of different needs. My son with autism and learning feels so comfortable there. Ollie (manager) remembers him and his needs. But I’ve also seen staff be very kind and thoughtful to other families and groups. And we all like the food!

Arrived at 1.40 for a bit of lunch, were seated at a table and the girl brought a menu and asked what drinks we wanted.

Not a massive fan of chains but very pleasantly surprised by the food and the superb service given by Alex made it a lovely evening. Food hot and tasty.

This is one of my our favourite restaurants without or without our children. The food is always delicious and the staff are fantastic.

We booked a table after a visit to the cinema.We didn't have a problem with the food which was o.k but the noise levels were so loud that the waitress had to shout to make herself heard.We know it's not fine dining and we expect noisy chatter and the odd kid or two running round the tables, but why have the music screaming out as well?Us older folk actually enjoy talking to each other.We leave our phones in the car.We asked if the music could be turned down a bit and were looked at as though we had just landed from some distant planet.We walked out of another Frankie and Benny's lately for the same reason.Obviously we won't return.There are plenty of other places to eat where older people are treated more considerately.

Visited many Frankie & Benny’s and this one was just what we have come to expect. Warm welcome, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast with unlimited coffee. What more can you ask for.

Haven’t been for a while. Had heard from members of the family who visit regularly that overall experience has dropped. However we went to celebrate a family birthday. Service very slow. Took an hour to receive our starters. Then another wait for our mains. Birthdays joyfully celebrated with chocolate brown & ice cream with candle plus sing-a-long by members of staff. Overall food was average on this occasion which was disappointing.

We have used several Frankie & Benny restaurants and without a doubt this one is the worst.

Me and my partner are from out of town and decided to visit this restaurant. It was easy to find although it was hard getting a parking space close. The food was lovely and fresh and hot and staff where friendly and welcoming. I would visit this restaurant this again if I was visiting Doncaster.

Meerkats meals good value for money, excellent staff, lovely hot food and scrumptious puds well worth a visit, buy 1 get 1 free had 4 fab meals and puds and drinks all under £60,

Never again! Overpriced, poor quality food. I have had better quality value ping meals. I must say the waitress handled my complaint very professionally and, without any fuss, replaced the meal I returned. They also gave a 50% discount on the replacement meal but by then the damage had been done.

Really good value with meerkat meals, buy 1 get 1 free. I had spaghetti carbonara with chicken and it was lovely very tasty and plenty of it. Staff friendly and helpful.

My spaghetti carbanora was cold and had about 3 pieces of bacon in it. My son was enjoying his pizza so I didn't want to send my back. I thought the waitress would ask me why I left it all and didn't. I hate complaining and dint want to embarrass my friend and son. Then they had the cheek to ask for gratcia payment and I kept clicking on no on the machine but it wouldn't work. I gave it back to the server. I felt embarrassed. Don't you think the chef should be trying the food before sending the food out.usualy I like the breakfast but I won't be going I spent £22 what a waste.

So good I made a detour the next day to have breakfast 2 days running. The are hyper friendly and attractive! Damn... I’m stuffed again!

My husband has reached 70 and to celebrate his birthday we took our children and grandchildren all 15 of us to the F & B Doncaster. It was quite busy and noisy but overall the staff appeared calm and patient. We found that Blade was serving us all and he stayed with our 2 tables the whole time. He was simply amazing, taking orders of children who didnt know what they wanted ! so patient and kind.

I have ordered from this restaurant 4 times since finding out they had vegan options available. However, every single time I have ordered I have been rang by Just Eat or the restaurant themselves telling me they don't have X, Y and Z available. 1 time I didn't receive my full order (even though it was originally accepted by the restaurant and then got a call 10-15 mins later). The other 3 times, my order has been totally cancelled. Each time I am reassured that a certain item will be back in stock at a specific time yet when I try again the same issue happens. I think the restaurant need to update their menu online regularly to avoid this issue or simply not accept the order if the food is out of stock. If this has happened to me - one person - 4 times in the last few months (EVERY time I have ordered with them) I dread to think however many other issues are happening. It would be great if the restaurant organised this better as the one time I've managed to actually eat some of their food I've quite enjoyed it.

Good food & service@ F&B;’s BUT why is the music so loud! I wear hearing aids so I just thought it must be me...but our daughter said it was so loud we won’t be taking the grandkids there again. We wanted to ‘speak’ to each other not text each other on mobiles like many kids & adults were doing while eating! We didn’t expect it to be music free...be we did expect to be able to verbally communicate.

Ate here as we were staying in the hotel nearby prior to flying out from Doncaster Airport. Had a short wait for a table as the restaurant gets very busy but the service, food and prices were all very good.

Called in here on a busy evening due to an event at the dome was told there was a 35 minute wait we said ok we would come back then he said no you can't do that others are waiting felt we were spoken down to not made to feel welcome at all so left won't call again

Went midweek to F and B’s for the first time in years because of their 2 for 1 offer. We ordered starters and mains and waited and waited, eventually catching a waitress to ask what the delay was. The manageress came and told us there was a delay because of a takeaway order!

First time visit to Frankie & Benny’s on a Thursday night. Was surprised how busy it was.

Was quite busy when we arrived , we were shown to the bar for drinks and waited around fifteen minutes for a table , food was good , service quick and friendly

We visited on a Friday early evening before 7pm and had to wait 30mins as we had not booked. Not an issue as we sat at the bar until called. I advise to book or come later as there appeared to be empty tables by the time we left. The food was good and service excellent and what you would expect from a chain such as this.

As we were staying at the local Premier Inn we opted eat at Frankie & Benny's or not as it would turn out. Although no one was queuing and there spare tables we were told there was a 45 minute wait ? We decided have a drink anyway big mistake they appeared to have run out of most items including draught bitter. So I ordered a pint of lager and a single vodka and diet coke to be charged nearly £10.

We had a meat feast sharing starter which was lovely and then we both had pizza, the pizza crusts were very well done in parts and the service was very slow at times but we both enjoyed our meal and would eat here again.

Birthday tea for my 5year old grandson. Very nice clean place with good atmosphere .All meals were lovely small portions for the price though. Our waiter was Connor who was very helpful and friendly. Helped with any issues we had. Had a discount with Frankie & Bennys app which was very helpful. Would re- visit.

As our last visit was hit and miss we decided to try again, so pleased we did, things were perfect this time, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Service was perfect, food delicious, and all in all we left very satisfied customers. The lady who took our order even remembered my food allergy. Well done Frankie & Bennys, look forward to our next meal there.

So after a long travel from Clacton and fancied a bite to eat, so we went to the food court and see Frankie and Benny's and felt this would be suitable. It looked pretty empty. So when we went in there was a cue and people waiting but there was tables available. And then they said there was a minimum of 30 minute wait. So when asked why such a long wait he said there was a lack of staff. But when we walked in there were three people behind the bar just talking and not doing anything. When I asked if we could just sit at a table they said no. And was very rude. I feel like the manager didn't know what he was doing and should have made more of an effort to get guest in not make them wait around when there was plenty of tables free. Poor manager, poor experience, would never return to a Frankie and Benny's something's should be put in place to make sure you are fully staffed. But on the upside I had a nandos and was much better.

We used to love this place, particularly for breakfast.

My husband and I visited with our daughters and all of the meals were good. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. My only criticism is that the larger sized kids meals aren’t much bigger and yet cost quite a bit more than the smaller ones. Other than that I’d recommend this restaurant.

Sometimes you come and it's perfect, other times it could really Do with some work. My husband loves the steak from here, I used to love the carbonara calzone but they don't do it anymore.

Used my Meerkat Movies deal so we got 2 4 1 pizzas. We were served quickly and the waitress was friendly. It got busy quite quickly which made it very loud and hard to hear what my friend was saying although this can't be helped.

Friendly staff, good service but food very average. Ordered sirloin steak cooked from medium to well but it was very well done and testless. Wish we have had ordered something different.

The title of this review is basically about the fact a portion of fries was served in a broken pot with bits of the pot mixed in with the fries. Whilst we did receive an apology this should never have happened in the first place. Service was also hit and miss, a couple who came in after us and whose order was taken after ours were served their food first which was annoying. We were told one item we had ordered took longer than the rest, but we should have been told this when we ordered. The food however was mostly very good, the macaroni cheese delicious. The desserts however were disappointing, two of us had the chocolate daze waffle, the waffle was stale and cold, the chocolate ice cream was bitter and the toppings were sparse. It hasn't put me off going back but it has put me off eating dessert there.

Given not such a good review from our last visit I would like to say tonight was contrary to our last visit. Staff went far and beyond to accommodate us tonight. A drink at the bar as we waited for our takeout meal being prepared. All polite even though they were busy ... a good sign!

Came here for meal with friends bit were very dissapointed with food. I had the chichen ceasar salad which consisted of a tiny bit of gem lettuce and a couple of croutons (not romaine as its supposed to be) with chicken charged for extra, there was only a handful of lettuce in the dish and i really dont understand how the £11 charge could be justified. One of my friends ordered the mushroom pasta which on the menu says is pasta and muchrooms served in a creamy white wine sauce, when ir came however it was just a dish containing penne pasta and mushrooms with no sauce! She pointed it out to the waiter who took it back for sauce to be added but the fact that they charge such high prices for such exceedingly poor quality food is really outrageous.

This is the first time we've visited Frankie and Bennys restaurant but it won't be the last. First impressions are extremely important and the young lady who showed us to our seat was courteous and friendly. We were then served by a young fella who carried on in the same manner. As for the food this was "no frills" well cooked and delicious. Well done the manager keep it up !
