Frankie & Benny's in Stoke-on-Trent

Very disappointed with my recent visit here. Had to wait a very long time for our drinks,had to wait even longer for starters & then there was an even longer wait for our mains. The reason is because this restaurant prioritises online orders. Time & again Deliveroo or Ubereats people were coming in to collect orders that were all stacked up in the kitchen area. Meanwhile the people in the restaurant who had gone out if their way to come here were made to wait. Several people around us complained,nobody seemed to be happy & everyone just looked fed up with the poor service. You need to do better & whoever is managing this place needs to step up & put the people sat in the restaurant first!

Came for a birthday dinner with my friend food was lovely and staff are amazing. At the end of our meal the staff put on a birthday tune and brought her a brownie pudding with a candle and song it was such a surprise for my friend she really enjoyed it. Thank you to all the team

Had a wonderful meal service was amazing our server was red and she was so wonderful and served us with a smile will definitely come again if I'm in the neighbourhood

Came out to the village to celebrate my Dog's half-birthday. We stopped for a bite to eat on our way home. Staff were very accommodating and our puppy enjoyed the fuss that she received. We sat outside and were very well looked after. The handmade dog bed was an especially nice touch. Thank you to Cara, Amy, Shelly, Dan and Amber for looking after us. Our puppy was very grateful for the piece of chicken. Thank you.

Red was really good at being accommodating for nerodivergent people. They were very nice to talk to. Only issue was the menus were sticky and the burger buns had seeds on them.

Came for breakfast when spending the weekend in the area was lovely and staff were extremely polite and helpful. The best eggs Benedict I’ve had in a long time! Will definitely be a regular franchise i return to.

Tonight there was only was woes to describe our service and that was amazing. Melissa was caring, attentive and basically had the best customer service skills I have seen in a long while. She is a credit to your business. The food was also lovely.

1 star never done this before here is why. Fries were cooked in oil that had previously burnt item you could taste it when it come. The waitress, we ordered they did not have the item for the child , we said we will look again, she then tutted, we looked told her to come back, she tutted again, she came back and I said you will have to come back as her dad was changing the baby’s nappy, she rolled her eyes. Thing was she did this to others around us (2 I noticed). It was incredibly uncomfortable. Re the fries we ended up buying a full adult meal for a 4 year old. Dads were edible rest of us had to leave ours. Bad food bad service no ability to raise issues with a waitress who honestly did not want customers.

Spot on in every way! Lots of choice even with allergens. Red was lovely and helped so much and made me feel very welcome. Food was delicious

Really good atmosphere , food has improved loads since we last went. The garlic pizza bread was absolutely amazing. The waiter JJ was great always checking on us & drinks makes a massive change to have such good service.

I came in for coffee & breakfast with the boyf and the service was fantastic! I had just finished my coffee as they asked if I’d like a refill. The staff were very friendly! The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed and I came out feeling very looked after, can’t wait to come back again

The initial plan was to have a nice picnic in the gardens, but as we got closer to the date, it became apparent that the weather had put an end to that idea. So we decided to go for a nice family meal instead.We phoned Frankie & Benny’s and organised a table for 16. I’ve always enjoyed F&B’s in the past & was confident that we’d get a good experience... What we got was service that really made the occasion!We were seated & our waiter, Mario, came over and introduced himself. He was knowledgeable & patient - as a table of 16 must be a slow & clunky proposition for getting the order done.The food was just what you’d expect, great, but the service really was first class! Nothing was too much for Mario & he helped throughout our stay - never in your face, but always on hand when you needed him.Mario was great with our son, Oscar, and everyone commented on just how great the service was... Something that unfortunately these days seems to be a rare experience.Would not hesitate to visit again, or advocate just how impressed we were with Mario’s attentive service - he really does deserve some recognition, as he is a credit to the restaurant & chain.Give that lad a pay rise!Many thanks again.

Went here for my husbands b/day with family. We had to wait to be seated for about 10mins, which to say the place was practically empty didn't make sense. Asked what we wanted to drink and ordered food. There were no tea time offers so everything was quite pricey for what we would call a budget chain. The food was lovely though. When we asked for the bill we were gobsmacked at the price of drinks!!!! Were never asked if we wanted a small or large coke but got given large... a Zero coke 'large' £3.19.... I think that is absolutely disgusting... sorry.... but I do. £4.99 for a pint of lager. You could not afford to spend the whole evening there without getting a bank loan.

Just left and Georgia the waitress was so helpful nothing was too much trouble. And the food was delicious will definitely go again.

FaB seems to have become our default favourite breakfast place after trying a good dozen different places over 7 years. I have been taking an elderly friend out for a breakfast most Tuesdays for maybe 7 years. we have certainly tried a few different places. But we dropped on Frankie & Benny's about 5 years ago. For a while we still kept trying the occasional different venue. But eventually we have ended up making it our default normal eating place.From the beginning we will admit it is not the cheapest. However, we have certainly found the staff extremely good, even patient, with elderly diners. Especially the manager, and a young Hungarian lass. For me, what I particularly like is having a bit of a choice for breakfast. I never have the traditional (I find the bacon too hard), but I have enjoyed the vegetarian, the eggs + something on a toasted muffin, omelettes, breakfast pizza, even waffles with chocolate and banana. Going for something different each time helps make it for me. Be aware that sitting under a fan can be quite cold; and the music is from the 70's and not subdued. Breakfast time there is relaxed, with excellent service; quite pleasant reallyI see us going back most Tuesdays for as long as my old friend can manage it.

I like the food here and the staff are usually pleasant and friendly. I went here this evening though and it just looks like it needs a deep clean I think. There’s like loads of food down crevices (see photo) and just feels a bit greasy and dingy.

Arrived at our hotel late, so decided to have a meal here. Very very noisy environment (lots of children & parties) could hardly hear the waitress, nor her me to place my order.Food arrived quickly, and very tasty. Good waitress service.Would eat here again, just hopefully not when school holidays!

This place is good for family dining. Breakfast is excellent and the evening menu is OK. Service can be a little slow but overall the experience is what is expected for a family restaurant.

Had two servers I can not fault in the slightest bit, chefs done a cracking job on my steak on the mixed grill and the carbonara my sister had was amazing the main server we had was called Norbert he was friendly, helpful and a perfect server.The person who helped us pay was also lovely she was called Ferrida.Can't complain thanks for the beautiful food and great service !

Sunday evening dinner whilst visiting the area . Wine and food good and tasty, service a little slow , requested water twice and never arrived so decided not to have the dessert and the extra glass of wine too!
