KFC in Stoke-on-Trent

Closed now and thank god for that it was a tip and the food was crap and the staff were worse. New one opened in Hanley town centre now for those who are interested across from Poundland

Disgusting food, brown liquid coming out of the chicken. Never eat anything from there again. Burslem KFC has closed down..

Only reason I'm giving this 3stars is sheerly because the food was good and the lad who served a full shop of 8 people and then put the food together and ran round mind the pun but like an headless chicken why 1 staff member sat down eating why the shop was full would of took 5 mins help him then sit back down and then two staff members sat in the back laugging and joking hope the lad comes to his senses and leaves

No plates , no napkins, poor portions, no boxes with boneless banquet, forgot our drinks.. staff couldn't be arsed.

The staff need to start clearing tables and keep up with emptying the bins.

Very poor service and sent me the wrong order when I went down to tell them this they did not care and sort it out yourself and ring the company who delivered it. The food they delivered was cold as well

I recently went with my wife prior to a gig at the Comedy club, which I highly recommend. Unfortunately cannot say the same about KFC. Food is overpriced, you always have to wait ages and when you finally get the food it is disappointing at best. I have been using this KFC off and on for over 30 years, I wish I could say it was a shame it is closing but it could and should be much better than it is, I won't miss it.

Apparently it's going to close. Best avoided at chucking out time the clientele can be disconcerting. Service can be indifferent or worse.

Delicious food and friendly staff

Never again...they new a advent was on, running 4 nights. Bringing people onto Burslem. Yet again they ran out of chicken. I also felt the place was run down and dirty.

Me, Becky and the Olds were looking for something to eat and even though this was a last resort it would have been a choice however on closer inspection looked closed down

Probably the best finger lickin chicken in the whole of stoke on trent, but don't go if your in a rush I once waited that long I'm 100% sure the chunk behind the counter destroyed the first meal and had to make me another either way good food 👍

First off all I had friendly smiley customer service which is always a good start before You dine somewhere. My order was completed quickly and efficiently, and last off the food was spot on it was piping hot and fresh I genuinely rate My experience a 10/10 and that's coming off a food/restaurant critic.

Very good quality food. It was hot & fresh as they should be. Polite staff & very friendly. Good value. KFC in Burslem is by far the best I've been to in Stoke.on.Trent.

Always a long wait. Not really fast food.

Whilst still reeling from my last trip to the KFC in Tunstall/Sandyford I was a bit hesitant when it was suggested that fried chicken is what was needed.I'm pleased to say that the KFC in Burslem must be under a different franchisee.Not being ageist but the older staff run a tighter ship. Clean, warm, friendly and with speedy hot and tasty food. This time I didn't need a stick to poke down the super dry new KFC chip and every morsel was scrummy.Thanks for restoring my faith in the brand.

Not a big fan of waiting for “ fast food” but I guess you need your chicken cooked thoroughly right? No complaints about the quality and the food is always piping hot served by nice staff

Clean environment, staff are pleasant. Not much in the way of a seating area and toilet facilities are very cramped.

The food was very greasy and left our hands smelling of rotten grease.

They have messed up our order a few time's. The food is sometimes cold or just about warm and thats if they have food in 90% of the time they don't have chicken or beans etc... The staff dont seem to want to be there, Wont be going anymore.

Went in there tonight to collect some dinner when a clearly intoxicated man and woman started slandering a solo Asian man with racist comments about Brexit and how he shouldn't be in that shop. The staff stood by and watched, not even attempting to calm down the situation or ask the aggressive couple to leave.

Kfc is kfc same as the others restaurants, quality food for a good price. Thank god that they have a free wifi that saves life😂

Fast service, very hot food, lovely and helpful staff.

Has an appointment and some time to kill...took our grandson for a snack.Very rushed service, despite being virtually empty, the lady didn't have any patience...we walked in to look and she was on us...no time to choose. My burger was ok, grandson left his popcorn chicken......hubby chose a banquet....... That must have been the "loosest" translation" EVER.....lol.

25 minute wait on food. Told they would put some extras in for waiting. No extras. If you've got time to kill visit this kfc.

Ordered through deliveroo , food missing ordered 2 original recipe meals they only sent 1 food that did actually get delivered was cold soggy chips cold gravy and barely warm chicken it all went in the bin will not be ordering from here again I wouldn't even give it 1 star

What a dump! The service was mega slow, the staff uninterested and lacked any go in them and the restaurant looked unclean and a mess, I definitely won't be going back there in a hurry.

Finally got the food in that we wanted

A typical KFC restaurant with mediocre service times and facilities. The staff were friendly and the food was average (about what you'd expect from a fast food restaurant) so all in all not a bad experience but not as great as KFC restaurants in the area.

One of the best KFC s in the country food great service great people great what more do you want.😋

Staff seem to be messing about behind the counter .... Playing on phones which I think is shocking !!! Need more mature staff to be honest ... Food not up to the standards of other KFC’s out of stoke ... Shame stoke on Trent cannot get the staff😕

Just had the misfortune to visit this place again the two female staff can’t do enough for some scally asking him to write reviews on kfc website but manage to snatch receipt back off me and I could see why when I got home when all the food was reheated to an inch of its life it’s a shame they will never get the concept of repeat customers shady practices should of clicked when it was ready in a flash

I have been in a few times with my friend before Port Vale games. The last visit was the worst yet. Unfortunately not many alternatives elsewhere apart from the excellent Wright Pies take away but of course this is shut in the evenings. The toilets here are an absolute disgrace and the food not much better. There is always a large queue and long wait for food. The last time we went i ordered a wrap without lettuce and it still came with limp half washed lettuce. in short this place is a dump with rude staff.

Had nothing when I went in no barbecue chicken bites no boxes no forks no hand wipes no pepsi very limited menu and what we had was dry and horrible

Really nice positive helpful engaging staff unlike Fenton store who are shockingly awful and really have no Customer care at all. Wouldn’t know they worked for the same company other than the logo on the door

It's small when we went there was hardly any chicken there was still lots of gravy after 6 of us had finished.

Staff were very nice here, ordered food at 6.30 in the evening and it wasn't very busy as it was mid week.we took the food home and it was terrible. Tasted awful and rubbery.

Very poor customer service. Staff standing around gossiping while customers are standing there waiting. Ended up walking out. WILL NOT be going back.

Used this KFC 3 times despite being local, the first time was to order a buffet for 80 people, paid in advance and ordered the food for later that evening, have to say it was perfect on this occasion, the meal was ready at the appointed time all boxed up for me, the order was correct and a member of staff helped me take the many boxes to my car, the food was hot and tasty but the other 2 visits for standard takeaway meals for two were disappointing, on both occasions when I got home the orders were wrong with items missing and the fries stone cold (I live less than a minute from the KFC) when I phoned the restaurant they said I could come back and collect the missing items or with my receipt have a credit against future purchases, not wishing to go back and let the rest of the meal go cold and not using the KFC often enough to use a credit note I simply lost out and the meal was not what we expected or paid for.

The staff here are very unprofessional. Had to wait quite a while and the staff were moaning throughout this time. This included the manager and was in front of the customers. Would not use this KFC.

Went in there on the 1st of September around 9:55pm.I ordered a 3 piece meal and the guy behind the counter said,"we have nothing at all mate we have run out of floor."I was starving and wasn't pleased at all.

Dreadful service. The guy behind the counter was miserable and completely unhelpful.

Usually good here but tonight there's rubbish left on the table, cleaning equipment in the dining area even though there is only us here.. Loads of staff chatting and none cleaning up...? It's getting slightly busy as the KFC in Tunstall has run out of chicken at 6pm on the first Saturday of the half term...

Not impressed, I was given the wrong drink, my zinger burger was discusting and cold, even the guy before me brought his food back because it was cold not good at all even when he told the staff guy he didn't do nothing he just said he was busy... When I was eating my zinger burger it literally tasted like the stuff you apply on your nails for acrylics I literally had spit it out it was that discusting. Won't be going Agen. KFC was my favourite now it's not.

For the price it's not worth it

They might have just been having a bad day, but our visit to this KFC was a disaster. No card payments. No corn on the cob. No kids’ yogurts. Untidy eating areas. Untidy toilets. One staff member was also having a rant about something to another staff member. Food was fine though.

This restaurant is really small, however we tend to take out anyway. The food is good, the staff are good.

Great customer service and food but not very clean

We ordered food from this branch last night and after an hour and ten minutes wait received food that had items missing , food that was stone cold , chicken drumsticks that were dried up and approx 10 thin chips put in a popcorn box!...

When i come ere my food order is always right - oter KFC always get my order wrong, this is the best KFC i have used. clean and tidy too.

People walking out because waiting to be served as the staff were busy with deliveries. Food was decent but they must lose alot of trade with waiting time.

Peor KFC en el que he estado, esperamos las edades y el estado de las mesas, patatas fritas todo la bandeja en la zona de cocina y patatas fritas recalentadas, así que nos fuimos antes de que nos sirvieran. No puedo comentar sobre la comida porque no comimos allí, y no volveremos.

I went to this KFC on Saturday 29th October 2016.The girl serving me screamed as there was a Rat next to her behind the counter next to the kitchen.The staff said they had reported rats before but the owners ignored them. Avoid this place and staff should quit it's dangerous for them to be working in it. Disgusting. I reported it to KFC Nationally and Stoke-on-Trent Environmental Health but have heard nothing so far. Hygiene standard says that the council have awarded 5 Stars and have confidence in the management. Shame the Staff don't disgusting, should be closed down
