The Slamwich Club in Stoke-on-Trent

This was a great place to go for brunch! Their special Saturday menu is a must try and you will leave satisfied and happy. Great service and food, will be back and would reccomend!

The sandwiches were excellent and the place had a really fun vibe.

In my opinion this is one of the best places in Hanley for a superb lunch, top marks for the tea😋 Staff are just so welcoming and helpful. The food is well presented plentiful and delicious. For me it’s the number one place to eat in Hanley x

Absolutely brilliant place on Piccadily in Hanley. Once inside you wouldn't know you were in Hanley. Fab atmosphere, great music. Lovely decor and the food is divine. Me and my friend shared a Butter me up slamwich with a basket of tata tots and I took a Spice up ya life home for my husband. None of us had ever had a slamwich club before but all said it was the best sandwich we had ever eaten. Will 100% be back.

Food is excellent hence 5* The beer was slightly warm which was disappointing. But the service wasn’t great. The staff did not check on you, and once sat down and the food was ordered they forgot about you and it wasn’t busy. I had to get up and find the server to get a second drink during my meal and the customers next to us did the same.

We had our staff Christmas party for 30 people and the venue was perfect. The staff put a lot of effort into catering for our needs and budget. Everyone loved the food and drinks and there was a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place for a function. Thanks guys

The food here is incredible! The staff are lovely and it’s a great atmosphere. Service is a little slow, especially considering it wasn’t that busy but otherwise a fantastic experience.

been here loads since it opened and never once felt disappointed by the quality. however. i am begging on my hands and knees for them to bring back the deli-cious sandwich with pastrami and frickles it was one of the most delectable sandwiches of my life and it never returned. i miss it so much. slamwich club if you can hear me. please. 10/10 otherwise, kissesss

Always a pleasure eating here. They offer a really good variety of slamwichs. We ordered the Slamtas Stack. It was amazing. Never had a bad slamwich here!! I can’t recommend this place enough to people.

I finally visited slamwich after hearing so many great things about it. I was spoilt for choice with the menu as it all sounded so good! Food was amazing! As were the cocktails! Staff were friendly and great service! Will definitely be back!

Great place for a bite to eat before going to the theatre. Pre-ordered and all meals arrived quickly. Cream Soda was great. Good service and fantastic food.

Was taken as a birthday treat from a friend during the week. Fabulous food, great coffee, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. I know it is busy at weekends - whether the service is tested then, I am not sure, but I will definitely visit again.

Have been in the Slamwich Club twice, their food is amazing. Both time went as a big group, the atmosphere was great and seating was comfortable, with wide selection of drinks. This is the best restaurant in Stoke for me. They also have sufficient options for vegetarian/vegan, of which what I chose in both visits were amazing. One was with tofu fillings and the other one with halloumi fillings. I absolutely love them. It seems that they also change their menus once in a while so there’s often something new!

Slamwich is always a great place for a good catch up with friends. The food never disappoints. Tasty as always. Even had a take out for hubby. Staff always pleasant. Will be back very soon xx

My work colleagues and I love The Sandwich Club. The staff are always happy, polite and professional, attentive, but not so much it's annoying. The selection of food and drink is wonderful and the food is utterly gorgeous. We dine there time and time again or order and collect. Highly recommended

Great little diner. Was tempted by a friend who regularly goes. Friendly staff, good choice of drinks and food was lovely. Everything tasted fresh and love how so much is homemade. Great on price and a welcoming environment. Impressed how much toiletries were on offer. Will be returning when we have another child free night.

Loverly little place with a talent at making a banging sandwich, there's a sandwich for everyone they even have a vegan option, such a nice chilled atmosphere and great staff and food, wish I could give the service more stars! the front of house team were such nice lads who instantly made you feel relaxed and comfortable! I visited 2x. Ordered same sandwich but didnt taste the same. First time food was amazing despite of waiting for 1 hour for our order. Second time I think the blue cheese was a bit off on sandwich as it stunk a lot and was very strong in taste and made my stomach a bit funny for the rest of the day. My friend coudlnt even eat it after 2 bites. She asked for different sandwich and the waitress with attitude took her plate and bowl of loaded fries which wasnt even finished so I had to stop her. She didnt even ask whats wrong with the meal. They charged my friend for both sandwiches.

Went as a couple, but could totally bring the kids. Lovely atmosphere, comfortable seating, service was speedy but not pushy. Food was super tasty, well presented, large portions and worth every penny. Would have liked a dessert but there just wasn't space after the main! Grown up drinks available, good variety on the menu and something for everyone. Loads of vegan/gluten free options, too.

Very laid back atmosphere, catering for all ages and tastes. Well stocked bar for both non alcoholic and alcohlic drinkers. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and can tell they are trained well and rewarded even better.

The food was delicious with a wide variety of items to choose from. Will be back soon

I love Slamwich Club so much. I'm not from Stoke originally. Moved to Etruria a while back and looked for somewhere good to eat with my partner. She's a stokie, she already knew about Slam and the other good places on Picadily. Honestly the street is a shining jewel in an otherwise TLC deprived town, and Slam is the shiniest of them all. The menu is banging, VE/ VG/ GF friendly (get the frickles, man!), the staff are great, the food is hell tasty, the atmosphere is arty and interesting. Check their opening hours early week, and make sure to book online or over the phone, they regularly fill up, and I've been turned away on a few drop in attempts. Slam, you're my fave place to go when the cheese beast inside of me awakens. 🧀🍞🍟🥒

Waited for for my two meals for over 80 mins absolutely shocking

Not to bad but 71 quid for 3 sandwiches and 3 drinks, I thought was a bit expensive!

I saw an advert on social media for the ‘cod almighty’ and assumed this was a takeaway sandwich bar…. Pleasantly surprised when I nipped in and realised it’s a lovely little eatery. Next time we’ll go to eat in but today they did us some takeaway and it was absolutely lush!!! Recommend this local place, the cod almighty was delicious! 👍

Updated review. I've been here quite a few times. The sandwiches are huge! I've added a new photo of the chicken club. It was good but needed something adding. The bacon wasn't the best. There are only 3 desserts to choose from. The salad bowls are good and the sides are always good. One of the best restaurants up Hanley duck. I've only been here once but my goodness did it live up to expectations! Cant wait to go again, the portions were massive. We also had a bottle of prosecco which was served chilled on ice. We always love a chocolate brownie and this one didnt disappoint, we always have to check if it has nuts and this one didnt 👌🏻 they also do a blondie.

I have been here twice now, and the food is delicious. However, the only really drawback is the price. If you have a sandwich and a side with a drink the price will easily exceed £20. The service is friendly enough, and the sandwich and Stoke themed decor is a nice touch. I would recommend if you want a nice meal and don’t mind the price.

Food was good and tasty but at the end of the day it's an awful lot of bread and a moderate amount of filling. Plenty of choices, we had a table for nine and everyone enjoyed their choices. I do think the little extras are extortionately priced though, £2.75 for a Tin mug with a few sweet potatoe fries. Even that wasn't full as the mug is loosely lined with greaseproof paper. Oddly decorated but probably suits younger people. The staff were outstanding, friendly and helpful and full of good cheer. I decent experience but could have been so mutch better.

Our first time here and was shown to our table and given menus. First impressions - vibrant, great music, clean and very welcoming and friendly polite staff. Ordered some tea and loved the mugs and teapot! Food was absolutely delicious. The slamwiches were huge! Had some fries on the side - tasty and hot. What I loved also was in the loo there was a little table with free sanitary products. I think that's lovely and thoughtful. Overall an amazing place.

This place is my favourite place to eat in Stoke. It's decorated really nice and the food is great! The chips are properly made and are great, the milkshakes are really well made and not too sweet, the sandwiches are really high quality. There are vegan options and they were able to make a gluten free sandwich for a friend with a gluten intolerance. Just really good quality.

Quite possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious! There is plenty of choice, we had a mixed party including vegetarian and a gluten free requirement. Everyone was catered for without any fuss. Nice chilled atmosphere with excellent service from the team there. Already planning a return visit.

How do they make sandwiches taste so good. Had a Satay Faction before seeing Frank Skinner with some piping hot fries and a cream soda. It made me very happy. Nice laid back friendly service.
