Frankie & Benny's in Renfrewshire

Walked into Frankie and Bennys at Glasgow airport. Not busy. Was told they could seat us in few mins. Were ignored for 10 mins. Waiter eventually comes over- doesn’t say hello or apologise for wait- simply says “allergies?”. We say no and he says “follow me” which we do. He simply drops the menus on a table and walks off. Doesn’t say a word. We sit down- look at each other and think this is the worst service I have ever had- so we get up and leave. I’d rather spend £10 at Burger King then deal with the vile staff at this place

Wish I had read the other reviews. The food Is terrible, especially given the cost. Even the fries were bad and I'm sure whoever put the food on the plate wouldn't go near the salad garnish. It was very quiet so no excuse, just clearly don't care about what they are serving. Save yourselves and go elsewhere

I last came to this restaurant 18 months ago and the service was poor and food was terrible. I have now been back there and nothing has changed. Last time they forgot to bring over my drink I had to go and get it myself. This time I ask for a latte and get a cappuccino with chocolate instead. Could not find a clean table when I went in. Beans were cold, tatty scones were cold and oily and overall it was terrible. In the up side the waiter was friendly and the egg was nice but really needs an overhaul to provide a good service when I compare it to Heathrow or Gatwick they are a solid 8 out of 10, I would be hard pushed to give this 4.

Deep fried food all came out cold, returned a plate of chicken bits and pointed this out, was offered a pork dish instead, it came out cold...

Terrible service and terrible food. You have to order at the bar and wait for your coffee while your stuff is left unattended at your table. Coffee took 10 minutes, when I got back to the table breakfast was already sitting there and it was already cold. Even if it hadn’t been, couldn’t have eaten it as the quality was so poor. Worst airport restaurant experience ever.

Poor service, limited choice due to stock shortage at 4am - aye right! Poorest rolls I have ever been presented with, small & frozen (Glasgow is renowned for quality rolls) what a let down - rubbish value!

Came here to start our holiday. Food looks good on paper. I got the Po’boy sandwich steak and mustard. At almost £16 that’s what it was. Just as well I ordered a side of onion rings. At least that filled a space. The steak was ok but quite a bit of gristle . But not worth the price. I’ve had a better steak sandwich. Then there was the chicken pie and mash. It came with rock hard veg 1 piece broccoli and 1 small but of cauliflower. The half chicken and chips was next. The chicken was quite dry. The whole lot was vastly overpriced. I would expect that in central London and not the weeg airport . Really disappointed and a reminder for me not to go back there

Food arrived cold. Server changed some items without an apology. Meatball were tasteless, no hint of an Italian sauce, just mince literally! My husband had the classic cheese burger. Small tasteless burger on a stale bun with cold chips. Only reason this was not a zero rating is that the chocolate brownie was good. My husband had 2 beers and I had 1 cola. Price for the worst meal I’ve had this year was an eye watering £64.60.

Friendly and hospitable welcome by Matthew, professional yet relaxed, which is nice in the morning. Really good service overall and worthy of comment. Staff working hard, with heads up and looking after customers properly. Well done.

Poor lunch were I was charged £17.90 for a meatball meatfeast with a total of 3(Three) meatballs the size of marbles, although we were a couple my order was 10 mins before my partners & my side of chips were also 10 mins after my Meatfeast?? Meatfeast was definitely the Wrong title for this meal & Very Overpriced for the portion. 👎👎👎👎👎

Was very quiet when we arrived. No wonder! Loads of things not available, sky high prices, appalling food. Only bright spot was the excellent waitress who appeared embarrassed at the situation. Complete rubbish, go somewhere else.

Waiting in big queue outside for 10 minutes, restaurant is heavily under staffed (bad management) impatient person end of queue seats himself and notifies waitress, rather than asking person to wait in the queue she serves him. Ridiculous. No wonder this place is going bust!!! Last year they had ran out of sausages and coffee by 6am.

I have just had breakfast full English here and it was shocking. Cold plate and freezing beans the bacon was really a slice of fat. I had to have egg recooked. The female server was absolutely delightful and apologized but it is the responsibility of the staff who are cooking they are obviously not chef's who take the job seriously,I'm so disappointed definitely no return visit for me.

The restaurant isn’t always full but yet you are left waiting at the front to be seated. Then after that it takes a long time for someone to serve you. This has been the case the last few times i have been in the airport. Very expensive and slow. We actually got up and left one of the times as it was getting right to make the plane!

Ordered omelette to be told that there couldn’t make it however they could scrambled egg . Scrambled eggs had to be sent back because they were freezing . They told us that it was egg, didn’t smell or taste like egg .

Excellent service from Jolante. Food was hot and fresh but normal airport high prices. Best visit (of many) to this restaurant.

usually a good lunch ,however this time service was very slow, took 30 mins to get our drinks and had the cheek to charge v£3.00 for a diet irn bru very dissapointed

Served by the amazing Allan he is a breath of fresh air first thing in the morning. Allan sent us on our way to Las Vegas with a full belly he did everything and more to serve us. Allan is polite funny hard working and a great employee to this company. Thank you Allan for a great start to our holiday

We never went to one of those restaurants. Well will go again. Customer service has been brilliant from the start till the end. Thanks to Michelle who served us and has shown interest and extra mile attitude. Quite happy to see the variety of the choice as well. I mean I have taken a pizza and they don't do the usual stuff which is nice. You can enjoy something different and it was really good. Thanks !

The place was busy, but staff just hung around by the food collection point chatting took nearly an hour for our mains to get to us. The guy beside us asked for his bill and had to wait like 15 mins to get it. Was a frustrating start to a trip!

From the moment we sat down we were greeted with a very polite and welcoming waitress. Really nice woman who asked right away about my new brides henna tattoos and knew it was our wedding from this and the bangles. Continued this excellent friendly service throughout and made it a pleasent stay. The food was good standard F&b stuff but still very nice, hit the spot. The restaurant was spotless and offered a good spot to people watch.

Visited here on route to Bulgaria. First time visiting we usually hit the pub round the corner but as im pregnant thought we would try here. We werent dissapointed we purchased the americano pizza to share this was delicious. I have uploaded a photo. Service good. Total cost for pizza irn bru & btl of magners £19.40. My partner would have prefered the bigger bottles of cider but they only sold the smaller ones which cost £4.45.

The new bennies at Glasgow airport is simply the best! I've been to all the others and there's just no comparison, for comfort, space, great food and service too. Try it and see for yourself.

We came to the restaurant at 4am for a flight to Amsterdam our waiter Allan was fantastic nothing was to much bother he was genuinely a lovely guy...we are now delayed for 3+ hours and decided to come back to f&b and Allan is our waiter yet again he remembered us straight away and has made it his goal to make sure our holiday has gotten off to the best start under not so great circumstances. Could not commend Allan enough. The guys at f&b are lucky to have such a great member of staff and I hope all his efforts are rewarded by management....he also makes a mean bloody Mary!!!

Not a great fan of this brand, but was pleasantly surprised when we nipped in for breakfast , staff was prompt and friendly , food was good except the mushrooms were cold but other than that the breakfast was spot on for £5.95

Every time we are at the airport we always give this another try in the hope that it has improved slightly from last visit and each time it disappoints, crap food and even worse service, this time one of the staff members told us how, although they charge extortionate prices for cocktails they only put 15ml of alcohol in the drinks, absolute rip off! Our flight was delayed for three hours, and two hours into our wait, they refused to serve us any more alcohol...as if we were drunk on the 15ml cocktails...give me a break!! Honestly one of the worst places I have ever visited...will never step foot in another Frankie and Benny's...disgrace!! Absolute disgrace...!!

Visited on spec as we were waiting for our cat at nearby pets at home. Had bad experience at another F&B so were hesitant, we needn't have been. From the friendly welcome by James (this guy was born to be in the restaurant business!), to the excellent food, hard to think of a better experience we've had in a restaurant for a while.

Prior to boarding our flight we decided to have lunch in Frankie and Benny's. We were given a table then waited....and waited to be served. I asked a staff member if we had to order our food at the counter and was advised that a server would take our order. Again, we waited while 4 or 5 staff were in a huddle at a till station. Eventually we placed our order of food and drinks. When the food was served (the drinks had been omitted) my meal was completely cold but my wife's meal was ok. On complaining, the meal was removed and a replacement served. Part of this was also cold. On paying the bill I was asked by the server "was everything ok sir?", to which I replied in the negative. I declined to add a gratuity to the bill!!!. This was my first visit to Frankie and Benny's and it will certainly be my last.

Well it's the first time I have had a pancake sold as a pizza - I guess the promise to deliver your meal quickly is achieved by reducing the ingredients that need time to cook. Typical airport restaurant - overpriced and underwhelming.

Very disappointing meet and greet by two staff on our arrival, one redirecting us to leave and enter again by the main entrance. We're a family of five with only one under Nine years of age. Meals order taken by a pleasant and smiling female waiter. Request for kids meal side of beans to be in a separate dish did not happen, which impacted on the meal being finished. One meal of half chix was returned as looked under cooked, and a replacement meal ordered without comment. Two of the three kids deserts were not available, but we were only told this when we tried to order. Disappointing when it's for a child. Appreciate its an airport location however a poor show overall.

I wanted a decent breakfast before my flight and selected F&B's. My first selection - Porridge - was unavailable. What in Scotland? The young waiter did a super job in apologising, adding a touch of fun about the lack of porridge without overdoing it. I was served excellent Eggs Benedict and toast and marmalade instead - really tasty. The waiter continued his banter with me as he was passing my table - all brilliantly professional and care for his customer. So food as good as I might have expected in an airside restaurant but customer care and attention was brill.

The food is exactly what you would expect from Frankie and Bennys. Staff are always very welcoming and polite.

Service is dreadful, the food mediocre and the coffee appalling. What a let down. I am usually a fan of F&B breakfast but I won't be coming back to this one.

We have been a few times and it's a great deal for the kids but some of the meals are a little over-priced...particularly if is a vegetarian salad! I paid almost £11 for a salad with some leaves about 4 cherry tomatoes halved and 6 tiny bits (and I mean tiny!) Of mozzarella. I did complain and the manager happily changed it and added more mozzarella but compared to everyone else's meat filled dishes I do feel it was not worth the money.

Ate our last meal in Scotland at the airport location. Had eaten at another one and enjoyed the Italian food! Thin crust pizza is my favorite! Husband has lasagna and it was good. Good service during a very busy time in the airport.

We didn't want much, but would prefer to eat and kill time before boarding, rather then have airline food on the plane. Scrambled eggs on wholegrain toast and coffee did the trick.

this restaurant has moved it used to look out over the runway --not now however the food is good ,reasonable and good service worth a visit

Visited frankie & Benny's today for a late lunch following a 2 hour flight delay. Service was excellent and there was little time to wait on food. Light lunch but overall a great experience. Disappointed with ew location due to airport refurbishments

This is a very poor restaurant can't believe how long we had to wait for drinks and our meal it was over 35 minutes. The place looked like it has been hit by a hurricane. Lots of mess on the floor and so many tables had been left without being cleaned. At the prices they charge I would have expected better service and a cleaner environment to have dinner.

Food was ok but nothing great, was not offered any sauce, no-one came back to ask if everything was ok & the waiter didn't smile once!!

I have seen 5 or 6 individuals who came after me, and being waited on first. One of the waiter came to check on me 15 minutes afterwards. So unprofessional. So the first waitress who led me to my seat had already forgotten about me. How unprofessional !! And the host kept on attending to people. Utter stupidity.

Well my flight was delayed so went in to Frankie and Benny's for something to eat and waste a bit of time. Was seated really quickly and got a drink fairly quickly...then it was all downhill. After waiting 40minutes for a burger, yes just a burger and chips I then asked the waitress where my order was, she went to check and then I seen her walking about, she then ignored me and this was after another 5 minutes. I finally gave up and went to pay for my pepsi still hungry. A complete shambles of a place that people who were seated after me had gotten their food, their menu states that it takes 15minutes for good to come well that's a lie and no one was able to tell me when it was due. Honestly, go somewhere else, there is a restaurant at the back which is much more efficient.

I think I must have arrived at crossover time in the afternoon. Seated fairly quickly but waited ages for someone to take my order. Had the chicken toasted pitta bread. Bit flavourless and dry Had BBQ sauce separate in a little cup. They forgot the coleslaw. Chips pale and undercooked.

Made the big mistake of going here before a recent flight, really poor organization, 10 minutes for a menu, further 20 for the order to be taken another 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive another 10 for the food. Staff very poor probably one our worst experiences.Never again

Dropped in for a bite to eat before my flight back to Birmingham.I had the Carpone goats cheese salad which was very tasty and huge.The service was good and they always play some great oldie tunes at these venues.Will definitely use this place again.

I waited to be seated- waiter gestured "I'll be with you in a minute" but left me standing a few more minutes, then seated me and left me, with no menu. Eventually another waiter came to take my order , for a menu. She said he kept seating people without a menu. I ordered American breakfast with fried eggs. It was brought out with scrambled and a waiter who struggled with English said it said scrambled on the order. But he took it away and several minutes the right meal came. Food was fine, but I didn't have dessert as I couldn't get out quick enough. Give this place a miss.

Have eaten at this restaurant many times but this is the first time in its new venue and they really seem to be struggling with organisation I shouldn't be surprised I ate here when it first opened in the old location and they didn't have any pizza bases, imagine that!?! Suffice to say they still seem disorganised , we came here quite late in the evening, gone 7.30 and the place was in chaos, it took a while to get a table, longer to get served, by the time we got our food, it was nearly 8.30 so we had to speed eat the food and leg it by 8.55, pretty frustrating Guys - you are in an airport! People have places to go and have limited time so please get a sense of urgency! That said choices are limited at Glasgow airport departures at the moment so would come again but only if I have plenty of time and patience

I was travelling by myself for the first time in a long while and chose Frankie & Benny's over the other options as it had table service. I hadn't considered beforehand how complicated it could be to try to figure out how to order at bar with either all of my luggage in tow or leaving my possessions unattended at my table. Anyhoo, I was seated quickly and my order was taken without any delay, my food arrived quickly, the portion size was good and the food was very tasty. The service was attentive without being over bearing and although I was dealt with quickly I didn't feel like I was being rushed. I've travelled quite a lot but I've usually got someone with me and I have to confess that dining alone was a bit of a daunting thought, the team here made the experience very pleasant, so I have to say that in my book this would be an excellent choice for you if you are travelling alone or indeed if you are travelling with company.

we love frankie and bennys so we didn't have breakfast knowing we would grab something in the airport, my only complaint is that buffalo mozzarella salad is no longer an option in frankie and bennys we both opted for the Cajun chicken pasta and orered aside portion of the bbq loaded skins, bad move as we wasted them as we were too stuffed from the pasta.as I'm allergic to peppers my sauce is always made fresh to order so I know I'm never getting a premade morning batch, on this occasion it meant my Cajun pasta wasn't as spicy as it would normally be pretty decent price but its a chain restaurant so cant really compare it to other places quite the sametables were a bit of a mess when we arrived and there was plenty of staff, I would like to think we arrived after a mad rush of passengers and staff lunch break and that was excuse for the mess on this occasion, otherwise staff friendly and helpful

I visited the new one first time. Big place. Nothing special about it. Service and food are just average. May give them another chance as children want to go back.

It seems like a busy place, especially when you wait 15 mins to sit down.I believe the staff handled the situation as well as they could, there just weren't enough tables.I only had time for one course and that was a pizza to try and speed things along.It arrived in good time but it wasn't up to the standard I have had at my local F&B.I think 3/5 is fair scoring.

Food was as expected and generous portions. Value good, but what the visit good, and encourage a revisit was the service from Mandy. Even with lots of people to look after nothing was too much bother. Thanks

Visited this afternoon & ordered a glass of wine & a wrap whilst waiting for my flight.Fifteen minutes after ordering, the drink arrived, followed by the food 10 minutes later. In an airport restaurant where people do not have a great deal of time, & for one simple dish, 25 minutes is far too long. When the meal did arrive, I had around 5 minutes to eat it (I left more than half), had to ask for the bill whilst eating & run for my flightWill not return

We had used the frankie and bennys at the airport on a number of occasions when it was located up the stairs ... We were on our way to Cyprus and had enough time before our flight for lunch . This was nearly not the case as the service was really poor .. Along with a line of people we waited 10/15 to be greeted and offered a seat , the delay continued while we waited for a drinks order to be taken and then another delay for it come . The story continued with the food which was fine when it arrived . As soon as we had finished we asked for the bill as I didn't have the patience to try and order another drink .. Think it will be the beard more pub at the airport the next time I'm travelling .. Shame really as I like their menu

Had to wait 10 mins to get a table, but only half the tables had people at them. Food looked good but was bland and tastless. Coffee was obviously old and tasted it.Staff where very good and efficient. I'm an F&B fan but not this time

Early flight so had a lovely breakfast, with a bottle of Prosseco, waitress provided a small jug of fresh orange free of charge to accompany it for my wife

Terrible food, pasta was overcooked and the sauce sickening. Pizza is so bad, the dough is a joke. Very expensive for low quality food. The pints of beer are flat and they won't fill the wine glasses with the correct ml paid for. Absolutely ridiculous, I'm very disappointed. The staff is friendly though.

Food quite nice; reasonable waiting time. Unfortunately the level of staff service was awful. Once you are seated they have no interest in keeping you happy. Waited nearly half hour for someone to take our drinks order. Then another twenty minutes to get our bill after for one of the waitresses to tell us when we requested our bill very politely 'I don't take orders'???!!!

Visited here solo travelling from Glasgow back to Ireland for the weekend, having a few hours to kill before my flight and having come straight from work, decided to get some dinner! First time at any F+B's so asked my Waitress Eleana for some tips and she was fab! Had the chicken pitta and the waffles+ice cream for dessert (+2 glasses of wine...Because Weekend!) all along Eleana was an extremely friendly and helpful Waitress! Will definitely be returning next time I'm in glasgow airport!

It's the sort of thing that fills servers with fear - "I'd like a table for 24 please !!" Especially when followed by the words "we only have an hour " So here we go , yes we managed to get in and out in under 1hr . The drinks a mix of cocktails and beers were served quickly and a good choice was on offer .The food was a mix of average fish and chips , so so burgers and great Pizza's. Given the rush we were in I can't fault the service and to be honest the staff couldn't have been more helpful . So for an airport joint choose a cocktail & a pizza and give this place a go

One rude and abrupt waitress. Had a pasta dish and it was like chewing bricks. Didn't know a chef could undercook pasta, the sauce was bland and flavourless. All the other waitress's bar one were extremely nice

Visited the restaurant in the morning before our flight. We didn't have much time but we were told food would be served in 15 minutes. There were 7 of us ordering food and it did arrive pretty quickly. I ordered a breakfast muffin and was asked if I wanted potatoes or potato scones with it. I chose potato scones not realising this would add £1.50 to the cost of the muffin that was £6.50 already. I have to say the quality of the food that aS served is the worst I have tasted. The muffin was dry, the egg looked like it had been cooked 3 weeks before and the mushroom was watery. Others in my party ordered pancakes and bacon and the bacon was totally inedible. If it wasn't for the fact I was in a rush to get to our plane I would have sent the food back. However, I just left it on the plate and was charge almost £60 for the privilege. Having been to Frankie and Jenny's many times I was very disappointed. I certainly won't be back.

Have to say I was very Impressed with the Overall Package of this Place.Clean & Efficient Service with Pleasant Surroundings.Our Server was very Pleasant and Promptly took our Orders.I went for the Brooklyn Burger and was Duly Impressed when it arrived.Juicy Moist Burger Topped with Salted Pulled Beef ,Lettuce Tomoato ..Brioche Bun...Perfection.Fries were Crisp and Hot.My Fellow Diners were to impressed with there choices.So Overall a Great way to end our Trip.Would I recommend...Yes

Just left this resturant having been sat wait for someone to clear my empty plate for 20 minutes, could have just walked away without paying because of the lack of staff working. They were there but having thier tea at 5pm till 6pm the busiest time I would expect ? Shocking management and customer service.

A quick pit stop before my flight back to England. A nice meal, hot, tasty and I guess what you'd expect from a Frankie & Benny's.My waiter, William, made it much more welcoming than I was expecting considering how busy he was on a Friday evening. I was grateful as someone eating alone but looking around a lot of people were eating alone and he appeared to be making them feel the same too.

De new york - Italiaanse keten was al bekend. Goed voedsel en aangezien het op een vliegveld is ook stevig aan de prijs. Dat hoort er nu eenmaal bij. Wat er niet bij hoort is dat de bediening zelf nog wat extra fooi toevoegt bij het instellen van de kaart automaat. Bovenop de ruim 10% die ik al had gegeven. De dame in kwestie was al niet erg vriendelijk trouwens.

I sat here at 6 03pm and waited till 6.25 before a server took my order. That arrived 30 minutes later (pizza) and it was cold. It is now 1925 and I am still waiting for the plate to be taken away. A total shambles and a disgrace to the name.

Great service and lovely food! Chatty and helpful server who ensured our experience was good before our flight. Food came quickly and was very tasty, good coffee too.

Visited this restaurant on my way to Amsterdam on 09/03/2016. To say I'm not really a fan of F&B's would be accurate but I was out of options as everything else was mobbed.I was pleasantly surprised by my visit. The coffee was average at best but the French Toast with a side of Bacon was actually good and tasty. But it was the service that really stood out, my server, Liam, was friendly, warm, attentive and on the ball with his service. Hope the tip I left showed my appreciation.So, not the best place but certainly not the worst and I would definitely return again provided it was Liam who was on duty.4/5.

Place is rubbish. Service was non existent & the pulled chicken was so drowned in sauce, you couldn't tell what meat it actually was! Waited AGES to order. Plenty of people just left, but my flight was delayed so I was in no rush. Was a good 15mins waiting to order, another 25 for the pretty rubbish grub. Chips were nice, I suppose. Waited another 10 to get the girl's attention to get the bill, the only thing done promptly! And had been charged for a bottle of fizz not a glass. It got rectified but what a complete farce of a place. No WAY in the world I'd ever go back. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Warm bread and cold beans disguised as a breakfast and strawberry daiquiris that didn't even taste of strawberries, 20 quid for the pleasure, shocking.....

Had half an hour to get something to eat before having to get to the gate and we had no problems. Service was friendly and quick and the food was as good as at any other frankie and benny's that I've been to before. Restaurant nice and clean and the food was fine if a bit expensive.

My boyfriend and I decided to go to the nice newly renovated Frankie and Benny's for breakfast before our trip to Amsterdam, he ordered the full cooked breakfast and a beer and I had the pancakes and a strawberry daiquiri which was probably the best daiquiri I've ever tasted! The food came really quickly and was delicious. We were served by Alan who was very friendly and attentive and made sure we never sat with an empty glass, was a perfect start to our break and we'll definitely go here next time we're in the airport.

I returned from a very long and tiring trip this morning and decided to have breakfast before my busy schedule, what a great decision that was....I was greeted by an extremely friendly, professional and courteous waitress who not only attended to my order (correctly may I add), she took the time out from her busy schedule to listen to my life moans without judgement or complaint. I talked so much I didn't even ask her name but on looking at my receipt it says Jo. So, Jo, if you get to see this, you are a credit to Franky & Benny's and I will certainly make sure my friends ask for you as their waitress when they visit. 5 star service *****

Disappointed again. New location downstairs is better. New menu not great. Floor was disgusting with food all over it. One family was allowing their toddler to chuck food all over the floor and did nothing to pick it up. They just left it for staff to pick up. Kids ice cream tasted off.

Service a bit slow, but the soup was very nicewhen it came, and also the coffee at the bar served by pleasant smiling girl.

I will not be back. The service was slow and my food was cold. £25 for a meal that was rubbish. I had to go to the till so I could pay. The chief looks miserable and I heard him snarl at one of the waiters who asked him simply when was a dish going to be ready.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way to Tenerife, the food was pretty good, and service was pretty quick. What concerned me was the arguments between one of the chefs and waiting staff! Due to the new location of the restaurant the arguments could be heard all the way out into the airport!!Not a great start to our trip!!

Decided to go here for a pre-holiday lunch and it was absolute crap. About 5 waiters walking about doing nothing and the manager looked clueless, she did nothing the whole time we were there. Service was painfully slow and the waitress got our order wrong. The amount of food that was on our plate was a joke for how much it cost. Witnessed another couple send theirs back and I was tempted to do the same. Do yourself a favour and just go to wetherspoons.

Horrible place....staff all have there head in the clouds. Overpriced garbage from the microwave. Ordered drinks seen them at the bar for 10 minutes so i collected them myself with all the staff watching and not helping. More interesed in talking to each other and combing there beards. Chef mike in the kicthen playing games and my food sat on the pass with all staff walking past and ignoring it for 10 minutes before i recieved it cold. Wheres the pride in what you do or service to the customers???? This place is an embarrasment to food/drinks/service and scotland avoid it at all costs unless you want garbage food garbage service and miss your flight.

Had 4 hours to wait for a flight and was really hungry so thought I would have something substantial . Was put in a corner of the resturaunt facing a wall . across from me and to the right of me , Staff were having supervision . I ordered steak and chips which took half an hour . It was colourless , unapitising and looked more like a plate of chips . The steak was so small and there was as much grizzle as there was Steak. Needless to say I left almost the whole meal .Staff asked if I had enjoyed my meal , I said as you can see by what I have left , No . I haven`t enjoyed my meal at all. She said nothing and took the plate away. It was £16.65 for the meal and a cup of tea. I will never have a meal at Frankie and Benny`s again !!!

With one and a half hours to spare before our departure, we decided to try the new restaurant at Glasgow airport. A diffident waitress led us to our table and gave us a menu. Twenty minutes later, we were still waiting to have our order taken and a couple at the next table, who had been seated longer than us, got up and left. The restaurant was almost empty and we watched as two waiting staff fiddled with napkins at a cash point and wiped a few tables. We left and went to a nearby outlet where we received our order within ten minutes from courteous and efficient staff. Not good enough for an international airport. Pull up your socks F&B!

We love Frankie & Benny's but this Glasgow airport one is a bit disappointing, we only want to order two pizza but the girl at the reception said waiting time is more then 30 minutes and we haven't got any help or any fast menu choices & there were only a few customers in the restaurant that time!!

We ordered two New England Breakfasts, however it was completely different to the description on the menu. It was served with chips instead of potato rosti and had no black pudding. After complaining we were given some extra sausages and told it was an "Error in shift handover".............Avoid at all costs. Shame as it was quite good before it moved.

It's relocated and the new site has literally been open 3 days. And on some hands it's fabulous and bright and airy. Food is good. On the other hand it's chaos. Staff being taken on training, leaving very few others to run everything which means I nearly missed my flight.Would I return? Oh gosh yes, as it's good food. But not for a while til they ate settled in.

Stopped by F&B for breakfast on my way to an early morning flight. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and chirpy for the morning time. The food was also quite good, not fantastic - but for airport food, it really hit the spot! The free WiFi was a nice tough, but the signal a tad weak.

After travelling for four days, bumped off several flights in various airports, Glasgow to Southampton was my final flight on an extremely long journey. Needed somewhere to sit, have coffee and it was perfect. Staff efficient and helpful, quick service and was glad of a decent coffee!

We came to have lunch before our flight. We had a long wait to be seated and make out order. More than 35 min after to order our dinner, we are still waiting with a 2yo, our drinks and meals.Food is fine, nothing special.

I visited Frankie and Benny’s last week while waiting for a late flight back to Gatwick. I have snacked my way through the various eateries at the airport but generally end up here when looking for something more substantialOn entering I was greeted and promptly shown to a table. I was left to peruse the menu for ten minutes or so before the waiter returned to take my food and drinks order.After a wait the food arrived but the drink had gone astray – an excuse of “the tab was lost at the bar” was proffered when it finally arrivedBurger and chips is, well burger and chips, but it tasted fresh and the chips were hot and crisp on the outside just as it should be.The restaurant is moving to the opposite end of the terminal building in early December so maintenance is being allowed to slip in the meantime. Some areas are very poorly lit but the staff ensure that you are happy with the offered table.Probably the best option for a meal at the airport.

Decided to pop into Franky & Bennys at Glasgow Airport for breakfast before my flight to Totonto......& left really disappointed. On arrival the waitress/host did not make any effort to give a warm welcome, even though the place seemed pretty quiet at 7:30am. She showed me to a booth where both benches had large slashes in them and looked awful ! There was a wait of around 10mins for a waitress to come over and take a drink & food order. Far too long when it was not busy. The wait for my breakfast was around 20 mins, again far too long and when it did arrive it looked disappointing and certainly not worth the money.This unit is not a patch on ANY Frankie & Bennys I've been to and with a captive audience should be far better than it currently is. Safe to say I will not be back in a hurry and will pay the £25 for the Skylounge......much better value than my £18 for a breakfast, orange juice, toast & tea.

From the minute we walked in William looked after my family ... We could hear him sing along to the music which means he is happy at his work.. After our breakfast he went out of his way to carry our cases down the stairs... Thank you William

Don,t usually do these chains but i do have to admit i was surprised how good the food was and i shall visit again if in the area.

Stopped in for a quick pre-flight meal - bad decision...Waiter clearly couldn't be bothered, he read a list of about ten items that were 'off' the menuThere were two different types of music blaring - one from the kitchen and one in the restaurant until we asked him to shut the kitchen door.We ordered drinks straight away before we ordered but had to ask for them after about ten minutes.Food was desperate - mine was a flabby omelette, chips tasted of stale fat, a dead salad, my friend's pizza was fake, flat, tasteless.I know they're opening a new branch elsewhere in the airport soon, but this had all the feel of a chain that just couldn't be bothered. So I won't bother going back.

Great for a nice breakfast to start off your holiday, only problem we had with this restaurant was the staff weren't very friendly. but overall its always a good breakfast to set things off!

Popped in for pre flight breakfast. Staff were very polite and helpful. Food arrived within 10 mins and was hot and tasty. Much better than other food outlets within the airport complex.
