Really love the fact that it's halal the food is good and the fact it does dessert is a bonus. A little pricey but generally worth it.

The food was OK, nothing to right home about. Suppose it depends on what you get. Is it worth the money? We didn't think so, was by no means super expensive, don't think we will be back.

I like the place but man they are inconsistent with their food, like every time you enjoy something the next time it will be different, idk if their chefs keep changing or what, but every other time the food is different and people at the front of house are almost always clueless as to why this is the case. - Adding to my pre existing review, because this time they out did them selves by serving me a burnt patty and covering it up with cheese and sauce, I don't know why they can't train their staff to produce food consistently.

Worst experience…after we ordered our food the waitress came to our table and said 1.Spicy nuggets is out of stock and minutes later she came again and said 2. Wildberry yoghurt was also out of stock. We asked for plain nuggets and after 20 mins wait food arrived …Nuggets were fried in rush as the centre was still soggy.. the fries were not seasoned adequately so even cajun fried tasted like plain fries and the waitress asked my daughter not to touch the ice cream window as she had just cleaned it…1 star overall. nobody knows what is going on and the food is overpriced and you will not get the money’s worth. My advice better visit KFC next door…

Such a great place to go for a treat. It can not a bit pricey but the quality is great and the portions are big. Was particularly impressed with the freebie over the small delay for ice cream. ( It was end of school term and they had a lot of people in) Thank you

Stopped as a waypoint whilst driving. Burger deal for two burgers and fries was good value at £20, but it was nothing spectacular. Burgers had a bit of a fake grill taste like Burger King. Fries were good, but it was far too much food so we didn't end up eating the second portion of fries. Tried one of the cookie doughs as well, which was okay but nothing special. Service was a bit slow.

Went in for two cones. Told at entrance that they weren’t taking any orders as they’re busy and short staffed. Couple of delivery drivers waiting on orders. We left and checked online collection. Still able to order online so why can’t they serve the customers who are in store?

Dont waste your time visiting this branch, last 3 visits there has been some sort of issue between back chat from staff, ice cream machines not working or too short staffed to take orders, if you are too short staffed then maybe shut down your justeat till and serve the people who have actually went out their way and bothered to visit. Complete waste of peoples time and money

use to be good down hill now, the crepe you couldn’t even cut through was stail and reheated crispy but chewy couldn’t even eat it as it was like chewing gum

I drive past it ever day, but hadn't been it, so the sun had peeked out of the clouds for a short time, giving me the urge to have ice cream. We chose our flavours, and at that my other half decided this was the best time to visit the loo, and take ages! The staff member had made up the 2 cones and handed me them, they were enormous! My partner still hadn't came out the lav yet, so she offered to put them in the freezer for a bit in case he was going to be there all day. I agreed, and thought it was a nice gesture. She put them onto small cardboard trays and was just about to pop them into the freezer when he came back out. So we just ate them off the trays with the little plastic spoons. The flavours were lovely, I got ferrero rocher and Scottish tablet. The waffle cones were lovely and crunchy too. I would go back. Maybe I'd try some cake or brownies as they looked very nice. We didn't sit in, but it looked nice enough, very empty though, so I hope it does well enough to stay open. I have heard the burgers are nice, so maybe I will go back to try one. The price was good for the size of scoops you get. £5 for each 2 scoop waffle cone.

We ordered our food and paid for it however they then never passed the order to the kitchen resulting in our food not being made.

Went in around 9 pm. on the way down from Glasgow. The place was pretty much empty bar a couple of tables with 3 or 4 punters sitting at them. Bird that eventually took our orders said a couple of "minutes".. I assumed she would be sorting our cones out, but she went about doing something else. So we're hanging about waiting on the two cones, after a few minutes of observing some orders being made up by two birds behind the counter, I had to ask where our cones were all the while I'm watching at least one daft burd stand behind the counter doing pretty much nothing. So some staring went on between all parties, and I had to ask again, "Can we have our cones?" At last, the doing nothing bird served us, granted we got two massive scoops each which was great and the ice cream was delish. Observed around 4 tables were a complete mess and hadn't been tidied nor wiped after the last punters had used them. Strange place, staff seemed totally disconnected and no clear who's serving who... Anyhow ice cream was decent £3.50 per cone seemed fair to me. They need to brush up on the service and cleanliness..

Popped for a milkshake had never been before, left with two chicken burgers and Cajun fries on top of the milkshake for £28 (there was a deal on). Best chicken burger ever, fries and shake were also too notch. Will be back

Awful experience at Big licks tonight. Arrived and waited by the sign labelled "wait here to be seated" for several minutes but no one came, so we walked up to the counter and asked to order and was told we needed to be seated first. So we were then taken to a table and left there. Having already decided what we wanted to order, tried to get the attention of someone to take our order. We were told by passing staff that someone would be over in a few minutes, but no one came. We then grabbed the attention of the same member of staff as she passed some time later, and were given the same response that someone would be over in a few minutes. After waiting even longer, another member of staff came over and abruptly asked us for our order reference. Not knowing what she was talking about, we explained no one had taken our order in the whole time we had been there. Rather than apologise or offer any sort of explanation, we were abruptly told, "well it's only her second shift" as though it was our fault for not being patient enough. She then said someone could come over and take the order in a few minutes but by this time we had had enough and said we would leave. She then shouted "fine" and walked off. She was not wearing a name badge which is unfortunate as she deserved to be named and shamed as one of the rudest people I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. I will NEVER set foot in a big licks ever again. Poor show from start to finish.

Visited and on arrival stood waiting in a queue to get to the front and be told I shouldn’t have queued as we wanted to sit in. We had been standing by the wait here to be seated sign but no one came and one member of staff was standing not doing anything looking at us. Once seated we waited for 15 mins to be served. I then returned to desk and asked if we could order and was told by the same girl that sat us that she would come and take our order at table. 10 mins passes and when she passes us I ask again and she tells me ‘2 mins’ then 10 mins later another member of staff comes and asks us for our order reference. We explained we have yet to order. This member of staff told us it was the other member of staffs second shift (no apology) we then made the decision to leave as this member of staffs attitude absolutely put us off spending any more of our time or money in this establishment. The line ‘that’s fine’ as she walked away when we said we would just go particularly stands out as a summary of the experience

In general, first time visit, menu nice, could do with more selection of soft drink ie iron bru and also more diet coke etc, staff were nice, the toilets appear to be unisex ie the door sign shows both male and female, the water could be hotter and better handwash, and offer of hand towels, we will be back. Good effort though x

Absolute terrible customer service. Place was dead was left standing for ages without being approached by anyone, while staff stood about doing nothing. To add to that was refused a window seat despite the place being empty. Left without even ordering and won't be back.

On entering, we thought this was going to be good, open, very clean, and bright displays. However, it went downhill from there. We were shown, or rather dumped at a table. We were not asked if we'd been there before or if we knew how things worked. After sitting for a while waiting to order, we noticed a board saying "scan here to order". We had no idea what to do, we tried to call for help but the backs of the booths were so high we couldn't see anything and the waitress had no chance of seeing us, thankfully another customer helped us. We ordered a burger, fries and a coke, when it arrived I haven't say I thought the burger had been taken off the kitchen floor, paper thin burger, see through onions (6 bits), shredded lettuce (4 small excuses for bits) cheese and sauce, I think you can tell I was not impressed. The chips, where a decent basket full was given, I think they had been washed in the dead sea, there was more salt than chips and as such we couldn't finish them despite still being hungry. Coke zero, hard to mess up right? Well they managed it.. two open bottles were delivered with our meal, both without glasses or even a straw!! Endless to say we won't be spending another £31 here again!! And I'll also not be recomending this place to anyone, infact, I'll be recommending people don't come here! It's not worth the money! Five guys is a better burger and cheaper!!

I can't comment on the food as I was thier to make an enquiry, but based on atmosphere and aesthetics alone 10/10. This family business has come along way from the Victoria road of Glasgow now to this location. Hats of to the entire team 👏

Food was fantastic. Definitely one of the best burgers around Glasgow. Loaded fries were crispy and full of flavour. Wings were better than WingStop. 9/10

First time in this American Burger joint. Its expensive, burgers start at £10.50 and don't include fries or a drink. Our bill was £40 for 2 x burgers, loaded fries, a diet coke and a latte. The quality of food is however excellent and portions are large. It is somewhere I would return to as a treat but couldn't afford visit regularly.

Lately i have ordered the mega muffin and slices of cakes from them and they were stale and dry. Please stop selling stale stuff for full price.

Great service. Place was busy and had a high turnover of customers however there was not too long to wait for the order to be made up.

The salted fries were a bit too salty, however, the cajun fries were really delicious! They can also be shared between 2 as they are really big portions sizes. The burgers were really delicious but a bit messy to eat as they are also really big. The chicken bites were seasoned evenly and they had a nice, crispy outside layer.

Where have you been? You've not been anywhere until you visit Big Licks Braehead! Goodness, gracious, back for more. Will be visiting again, very shortly.

Food was not fresh and off! Reported this to a girl who didn’t take it seriously. Very concerning after the item was not removed from menu and she was going to see if anyone else complained the batter. Poor show big licks! For that reason I won’t be back

Visited recently to take advantage of £5.95 lunch offer. We’ve been here a couple of times before and enjoyed the food but found prices a bit high so this seemed like a good deal. Looking at the advertising banner outside you’d think it was their standard double burger you get with the meal however when our food arrived it was the smallest, saddest little burger patty I’ve ever seen, with a tiny bit of cheese and a small bun, not anything like advertised, it was even smaller than a McDonald’s cheeseburger. The fries were listed on the receipt as kids fries however they were still a pretty decent portion and they at least tasted good. This lunch deal is not as advertised and not worth the £5.95, you’d better off with a happy meal.

The name says it all!! Big portions, not so cheap, fast service, but I absolutely loved it, definitely worth the money, I would highly recommend buying one portion of chips to share or 2 kids portions if you want to try the Cajun and Salted Chips, we learnt the hard way and struggled to finish them.

These days it’s very hard to find great service even in normal operational hours , but staff in this shop are always so helpful and happy even after operational hours , we live locally and have been late couple of times and the shop was closed when we reached , even then the lovely manager and her team were so accommodating both the times and happily served us . Top marked for this place , great product and exceptional staff.

The best Ice cream shop in Scotland. Being honest the service is outstanding, generally the ice creams are ok everywhere but here along with the service you get outstanding atmosphere. The manageress is really very good and accommodating. Always there to help you and always advise you to choose right product .

The lunch deal is great value, the burgers are juicy and fresh. Will definitely come back for this deal!

We were passing so we thought we would pop in to big licks as we've always wanted to try it and we're so glad we did, we actually can't believe how good it was and why it took us so long to try it! We ordered a chicken burger, chicken strips, and chips. The portions were massive, and the food was so good and very filling. One portion of chips would actually do 2/3 people, so be warned! The service was super quick and they have some unusual desserts to try. Needless to say the dessert portions were huge too, well worth the money! We were stuffed for the rest of the day, we highly recommend big licks and can't wait to return!

Shocking experience of having to wait a whole hour after ordering for my burger to arrive! Staff very rude and simply kept saying 5 more minutes every time offering no apology. Not impressed, extremely disappointing service compared to the other branch. Will be going to the other branch from now on!

The food was very nice, desserts are plentiful. Portion sizes are huge so you could get one portion of fries between two people comfortably. Unfortunately the prices are quite high and they sometimes get confused with the orders - however they did rectify them. Overall, good experience.

Food here is a simple dessert menu and theyv recently added the burgers/sides/ chips to this franchise. Not really much in the way of a kids menu however very high level taste. They have a beef burger and a chicken burger with buttermilk and sauces Mozzarella sticks and chicken nuggets also available. Very good food done right, juicy burgers and staff were amazingly helpful when available. Time management in service was below average due to a lot of orders/customers perhaps. Attempting to make like an Archies sit in vibe however family of 4 spent £85 No meals available so they charge everything separately. Quite expensive for burger and chips.
