I liked the music that played, the whole environment in general was warming and welcoming

Food was served in good timing but chips were the cheapest you could buy burger was very gritty burger roll was soggy from the sauces Onion rings were frozen went soggy when presented at the table. Food very poor food just not worth the money but staff serving were very polite and helpful

The food was very greasey. Service was poor and definitely what I would have expected from Frankie and Penny's.

Ordered carbonara and bolognaise both were lovely.

Brilliant menu reasonable prices

Music too loud. Our waitress couldn't hear our order and brought the wrong thing. We got that replaced but then were billed for both items! Asked for an additional dip which never arrived. Kept having to ask for drinks over and over. Couldn't catch attention of staff despite it not being very busy. Got attention of one member of staff to be told "I don't do that". Pretty poor service to be honest.

Ordered from just eat and spent £50 on my order for my family… none of the main meals showed up so now I’m feeding my child spicy ass chicken wings and cookie dough for her dinner… her father and I have gone without… shocking when you spend so much you expect your order to show up with some of the main foods… now I’ve phoned the place 10 times in the hopes to rectify this and no answer

Seen to straight away as soon as arrived in the door. Food was delicious. Compliments to the chef. We had the chicken parmesan and the spaghetti and meatballs! Very generous portions and very speedy aswell! I'd also recommend the pretzel starter, the cheese and pickle sauce with it was outstanding. Everything had arrived within ten minutes of ordering. Our server was so kind, Kasia. Nothing was a problem and she never stopped the whole time we were in here. She is a real asset to this establishment!

Very friendly welcome and servers were very attentive. The food was worth waiting for as it was busy and we didn’t feel rushed.

pastas are luke warm and garlic bread is stone cold and like brick almost breaks your teeth!!

From the time it left the restaurant and got to my house it was about 20mins, so all the food was cold and soggy. It wasn’t very nice, the bun was soggy from sauce and fries were stone cold. The chicken wings semi warm. Gotta do better than that for the money we pay.

Booked a table a week in advanced because we were impressed with their range of vegan options as my infant son has a milk and egg allergy and we didn’t want to get anything containing those ingredients as worried about cross contamination. Turned up and ordered our vegan dishes only to be told that they actually don’t have vegan cheese and so I had to eat a non vegan Margarita pizza and keep away from my son whilst the only vegan pasta was blow your head off spicy. The vegan nuggets were ok but more disappointed with the fact that there was no vegan cheese and on the booking we specified the allergies so I would have expected with a weeks notice that they would have ensured vegan cheese was available. It’s one of the most crucial ingredients to a vegan Italian dish. Service was great and couldn’t fault the staff but just disappointed with the experience and don’t think we’d return.

Came to Frankie and bennys as it’s normally a favorite of my family’s, asked for a steak well done, came out and was pink so sent it back. Literally brought it back to table within 2 mins so they obviously didn’t try and cook it to well done as was the exact same when it was brought back! Not difficult to cook something the way it’s requested! Won’t be back!!

It took a long time for order to be delivered albeit within the timescales given. When the food arrived it was cold. I wouldn’t expect piping hot but at least a little bit warm!

Classic Chicago style interior with booths and leather seats. Comfy and stylish. Staff where extremely friendly and mindful of our kids and all their siliness. Portions were fair and filling. The steak was perfect. The kids ate free with the adult main course. The rest rooms where imaculate, something i havent seen in a while in other places. Staff also inquired about food allergies something which you also don't see very often. Very possitively impressed. Would recommend for families, dates and even events.

Staffs are not trained with manners; try to hire employees who don’t have racist behaviour towards customers and delivery drivers.

We popped in for a quick dinner and the service was amazing! The server was polite, friendly and attentive! I think he was in on his own as well but it didn't impact our experience at all. Food was served quickly and was nice and hot! Hubby and I both agreed we would definitely go back

We ordered the beef bolognese pasta, the sauce tasted old and off. Sadly, I couldn’t eat it.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this time I feel obligated to potentially save some of you from a disappointment time! I’ll use bullet points to get to the point. - I asked for no ice in my drink, got ice - the food we ordered took 7 minutes of sitting out before it arrived at our table (I’m a keen watcher) - some food was replaced due to temp. - burger was overcooked, which is usually standard. There are 2 of us, so service should’ve been a bit more snappy! Around 20 people sitting in the restaurant for our visit. I said a couple of years ago I wouldn’t be back because of the poor general quality. I decided to try again, and am not impressed! AVOID THIS PLACE.

Ordered food from their bone jam on just eat. Spend £25 for the worst food I have ever ordered. £3.50 for about 15 chips. 9 pieces of chicken instead of 10 as ordered and chicken wings were dry. Sauces came in little pots wrapped in tape so you can’t open them without the sauce going everywhere. Waited over an hour and an half for delivery. So angry at how disappointing the whole experience was wish I hadn’t of wasted my £25 would never return or even consider going to their restaurant and can’t believe you guys hide behind a different name on just eat which has so many bad reviews but every single good review is from the same name with is very sus

Service was good, food was good and served promptly. Unfortunately a nearby table of adults were rather loud, so much so the staff turned the music up to overcome the noise. We've been a few times and usually good and friendly staff, shame this put a damper on our daughters birthday meal, someone should really have had a word with the table of adults, as it was clear many other diners we're not happy about their behaviour!

First visit to Frankie and Bennys, wasn't sure if I was too old to enjoy?! Luv, luv, luved it! Staff were fab, nothing too much trouble, food gorgeous, can't wait to go back!

Great place for a meal - good value to begin with, then we got an extra 30% off our mains because we had an Odeon ticket! Lovely staff, very clean tables and toilets, the Italian music & photos create a fun atmosphere. If they offered a wider choice of starters, I'd give the food 5 stars.

Enjoyable and the service was great. I did like the seating too, sort of American diner aesthetic. The apple crumble was really good with custard btw

Great atmosphere, really friendly staff, especially the polish lady. Ordered barbecue wings and hot wings for starters and chicken burger and steak main courses. The barbecue wings were swimming in sauce, would have been better with a little less, hot wings really good. The burger was ok and the steak was really good. Would try again.

Going to a food outlet in a retail park rarely conjures up images of haute cuisine, and this place is no exception. Standing, unacknowledged at the front desk waiting to be seated, as the staff member tapped away at his keyboard, was the first bad omen. We eventually got a .."Be with you in a minute".. without him even bothering to look up. "Table for two?"... followed once he finished his keyboard tapping. Then came a.. "Follow me" ... in response to our answer in the affirmative, and we were shown to a clean table, and menus were dropped in front of us, and he left. No hellos or smiles were offered. We ordered chicken burgers, coke and tea from the menu, and it all came pretty quickly...so, one positive. But my tea was served as a cup of hot water with a teabag on the side...hmmm, how is that going to infuse? Boiling water is a necessary precursor to any infusion. The chicken in both (dry) burger rolls was as tough as old boots and bone dry. The 'skin on fries' were just your standard fast food skinny fries but with potato skin on some of them. To top off our experience, on requesting the bill, the credit card machine with its "would you like to add a gratuity [ ] Yes [ ] No" screen was pushed under my nose. That was an easy decision to make, and a firm tap on the 'No' button was made. I used to enjoy coming here, years ago. But the poor quality of food, plain bad service, and the rude 'gimme a tip?' machine means that it's a permanent NO for us in future.

Great friendly familt restaurant with good service. Food was tasty and came out relatively quick. The ameretto sours was incredible and the £6 cocktail deal was a bonus! Worth a visit for the decor alone.

We hadn't been into frankie and bennys for a few years due to dropping standards of food in the ocean terminal branch but we decided to give it a try we were serverd by ross who was brilliant he never stopped and the food was really good as well its very hard to please a chef of 30 years experience and A cafe manager but you definitely did and we will be back and definitely recommend

Delicious food as always but prices are creeping up so we aren't as able to treat ourselves as much as before. £15.30 for Meatballs when in other restaurants you can get the same meal for £5 less makes it a little disappointing. Hence not 5 stars. Staff helpful and friendly. Worth a visit.

Not been in a while due to continued decline in quality and enjoyment of F&B's but they've turned a corner, great food good atmosphere plenty of staff on hand all nice there was an offer applied to the meals that we were unaware of and wasn't listed on the menu so made the whole meal much cheaper which was a nice surprise

Crew members were helping to advertise the new barbie movie by wearing hulla chain-necklaces and had the restaurant decorated in a holiday theme to match. No one was at the counter when we walked in, however within a minute someone was there showing us to our table, so didn’t wait long at all to be seated. She even had a smile and was so friendly. Ordering process was really smooth, our waiter came to the table and put our drinks through first then our food. The service between ordering and drinks/food arriving was very quick. The food was on the pricey-side, but was very fresh and worth every penny. Dessert, we really liked the brownie! Was hot and really nice with the cold ice cream. Perfect place to eat for couples, family meals or anything in between. We ended up giving a little tip as well as paying for our meal as the service was excellent. If you like a drink (which I don’t really) there is a good selection of wines to choose from if wanted a glass with your meal, same for beers & spirits. I highly recommend visiting if you’re nearby and want something to eat.

Had the macaroni. No flavour what so ever. Very dry but stoggie at the same time 🤯 we barely ate our food. I had just under half and my friend had 4 mouthfuls. Wasn't offered it to be taken off the bill or any kind of discount.. it will be a while before we are back

Restaurant change dramatically... Empty, dull no life.... There was just few customers, horrible music. My wife asked for medium stake, received well done, I asked for starter for southern chicken.... Well see photos, the breadcrub was solid like rock. For dinner for two incl. Starter and main, none alcoholic beer, and orange juice we spend £61😳😳😳😳. Overol experience o more than 3 stars.

Unfortunately although my order is showing that it’s been delivered it has yet to arrive at my home!
