Frankie & Benny's in South Gloucestershire

My first time at the restaurant, and the WORST EXPERIENCE, UNPLEASANT AND DISREGARDFUL TO MY FAMILY. I will never go back and I will do everything possible to ensure that people do not go and do not go through what my family went through. The worst service from the waiter, we ordered food and waited 1 hour and the food did not arrive, our 4 year old daughter was hungry asking for food. People who sat at the tables next to us who arrived later eat first. I felt very disrespected (maybe because I am not British). Just one observation: the restaurant was not busy. The waiter who served us needs more training. Very unpleasant that a restaurant does not have responsible professionals as its staff. Please do not go to Frankie & Benny's.

Staff was nice , expected American size portion first time trying chicken parm pasta it was great not too much flour in the batter , bigger cappuccino than a British restaurant with the same price

Melodie our server was absolutely amazing! Me and my boyfriend go quite a lot now after trying it out as it’s very local to us and we get served by Melodie quite often which I don’t mind at all! She’s very kind and helpful so I had to leave her another review as she definitely deserves a shout out and makes our experience here so much better than other restaurants we’ve tried out! I love this place! The drinks and the pizza are absolutely delicious and we get our drinks and food so quickly which is perfect when you’re hungry haha.

Nice place, lots of food choices, big portions, service was great, we got seated and food was served quickly. The food did not have the most flavour to it, but it did fill me up. Prices are average.

my son & i have been through a lot recently, im now paralysed so going to places to eat can sometimes be tricky to navigate, but we also lost my nanna so just needed to get out for a bit, so when he asked if we could go out for lunch he instantly asked for frankie & bennys. The food was delicious but i want to thank our server for just being considerate & a decent human being. He took us to our table & as im in a wheelchair it was a table with chairs. Without hesitation he said to me "i am not going to assume, but would you like me to remove a chair?" that 1 sentence meant the world to me "i am not going to assume". To someone like myself we are often told what to do & just plonked in places. His words were kind & gave me a voice. When it came to ordering & paying, he directed it all to me whereas some places often ask my son who is only 14, i am often overlooked. He was EXCELLENT

Sadly due to a menu change the following day, the menu was very restricted, and we couldn’t even have a coffee to finish the meal as they’d ran out of milk!!!!! 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Service was amazing as soon as we walked were told it would be 45 minutes for food when in fact it only took around 20 minutes the food was absolutely amazing and the new menu has so many more selections on 10/10

It was a wonderful atmosphere and the staff were very long. There was a slight issue with the meatballs and the staff was very accommodating and willing to sort out something for me. I appreciated all their efforts.

The service wasn't great, only 2 people working front of house during lunch time in the school holidays. Our food arrived after about 45 minutes. The chips were almost cold and as if they had been stood under a heat lamp for some time. The burgers were warmer. We weren't asked if we wanted any sauces or even if everything was okay.Overall not the best experience, probably won't return again.

Lovely meal however my chicken meal wasn't piping hot. Customer service was great, friendly waitress.

Definitely seen better days. Food wasn't good, high calorie and lacking taste. Drinks were ok. Service was pretty quick, except for the front of house staff standing at the bar finishing their long chat before coming to seat us.

The ribs we ordered were very wet. We get its smothered in sauce but felt like it couldve done more in the grill/oven. The staff were quite slow aswell.

Fantastic service. The staff were amazing when I suddenly became very unwell. They looked after me and kept an eye on me carefully. They also gave me a considerable discount as a good will.

Brilliant, food was great, service really attentive and pleasant, great atmosphere. If you know or have been to F&Bs before, then this is exactly what you'd expect. Really pleased with our meal here on Saturday night and loads of free parking making it easy to get to.

Love this place almost regulars but very disappointed today that I've came in for lunch and it's farely busy and there is one waitress called jasmine who was very lovely and polite running around on her own trying to serve so many people get the food and clear plates and deal with delivery drivers almost out the door not exceptable to leave one person at 12 clock rush time people were walking out the door just to save her trouble from having to deal with more stress. I hope this will change the next time I come in and not find just one person rushing around sad to watch while waiting for food

Good service but still a glorified fast food. Doesn’t justify the prices. I ordered the spaghetti meatballs and the pasta was too soft. The meatballs have very little meat in them and you can tell. They are like soy and have no consistency. I came back home and cooked some proper pasta.

We order over £80 worth of items. We ordered 4 burgers all with missing items plus the missing side. When we requested the issue to be solved we were turned down. We will never order from here again, complet ignorance this service is.

We ordered from Stack's on Uber Eats with high hopes. Unfortunately our experience was a bit disappointing as 1 of our items was not in the package, and when we checked the others, all the burgers were missing onion ring, what was clearly stated in the description. The food was okay but nothing to die for. Not really recommended.

We booked a table for 10 for my son's 6th birthday. From the moment we arrived, Andrea, our waitress, was warm, welcoming and incredibly attentive to our needs. The children were given colouring to do, and once we ordered, the food arrived promptly. The portion sizes were spot on and quality of the food was great (adults had burgers and fries, kids had pizza and pasta). Andrea was checking regularly that all was ok, and was very kind to bring out our son's birthday cake when we were ready to a round of 'Happy Birthday'! She cleaned up quickly between courses, and overall contributed to a wonderful celebration meal. Thank you!

This place is not worth the hassle! We just went there today. The server got annoyed that we placed an order!! Constantly rolling her eyes and not knowing if the ice cream is gluten-free when my friend was allergic to it!! When we wanted another drink, she walked past us and ignored us! We had to wait over an hour to get our bill! We only got it because we waited by the front desk! The server was on her phone instead of serving! The restaurant was also empty, so there was no excuse for the hour-long wait for the bill!! The food is not good enough for the hassle, and this is a piss take! The blue-haired woman was lovely, but not the brown-haired one. She was so awful!

Went with my family, and I must say that it was a shocking experience, the staff was rude, the food was terrible and the atmosphere felt so deflated that I might as well have been at a morgue. the staff was ridiculous they over complicated when ordering, over challenged when it came to allergies, and ultimately crated a alkward evening

I think this restaurant is a wee bit letdown, sorry to say, the music is far to loud, not that clean and we had to wait quite a bit to pay, feeling was we been ignored, food was OK, but not exactly hot, but we will not eat there again.....

Poor choice of food, coffee unavailable, substitute hot chocolate 'cold' If you like their limited menu, fine, otherwise not for you.

Arrived on time 8pm as per booking over 24 hours in advance. Spent half an hour or so wasting time at the bar, before anyone finally got to us and offered us a table that was booked. Thenbthe real game begane. Ordered to over priced 26 pound ramp stakes I could of bought at the local asda fo £ 10 with pepper corn sauce, as well as some cheese nacos for starter with no chilly papers, 10mins later got the starter of nacos coverd in chilly pepers witch we asked for it not to have on it. We let that go. Then few mins later we get one stake meal come out with no pepper corn sauce on it as we ordered. We sat waiting on the other meal to arrive so we could eat, as they said it would be right out.15 minutes later we are still waiting on the second meal to arrive. In the end had to leave a cold meal on the table and leave still without being servered the second meal with one cold meal in front of us. What an over priced waste of time.

Gluten free pasta arrived very quickly. Probably microwaved as some waa not well cooked.

We went on a Saturday night, and although it was busy, our server (Melodie) made sure we had everything we needed and was very chatty and friendly, as well as helpful. we were celebrating an 18th birthday and had a lovely birthday song and desert for her. Lovely food and quick service. Will definitely be going back.

My friends and I frequently come to Frankie and Bennie’s for our catch ups and the food is always of a great standard and very quick coming out. The staff are always so friendly.

Staff were friendly and tried to help, but the food was very bland. Nobody in our party of 8 was impressed, it was edible but not somewhere I'd go for a treat.

Awaiting call back from area manager. Staff on duty & managed have 0 customer service skills !! Frustration doesn’t even come close to how I’m feeling! This is the second time we have walked into this restaurant and had appalling customer service. Came here last week glasses has pink lipstick marks all around the tops. Service extremely slow & rude staff. Now today, walked in and had the most unhelpful welcome from manager. Booked a table with 2 high chairs , table not ready on arrival , waitress faffing around with high chairs. The whole point of booking table is so it’s ready on arrival so we can sit down and order straight away (as we have 2 babies ) if you have children you realise how difficult it can be , service needs to be as efficient as possible. Staff couldn’t care a damn! Manager decided to get rude & defensive upon me mentioning something , I then advised him I would be contacting area manager! He soon changed his tune and decided to keep calling me madam! Little too late !!
