The food was okay (a beef burger with fries) but I was overcharged by 7 pounds for my desert. They put other item on my receipt I complained about it and they reimbursed me less than 2 pounds! Double

Food was absolutely disgusting. Frozen burnt chicken tenders. Almost broke my teeth, pasta was worse, tomato pure with a few chillies, kiddies pasta shapes lol.. first time I’ve left a restaurant without tipping. -1/5 stars

Waited ages for 2 burgers in restaurant which was not even quarter full and 4 staff visible in kitchen. Food was disgusting... Grey grisly burger with plastic cheese and doughy bun with plastic mayo. Never again

Called in while shopping at The Fort. Met Ian on our arrival. He was so friendly and attentive during our visit. He is a great ambassador for the company. Big shout to the kitchen brigade for the very high standard of food. Great atmosphere too. Menu is varied and caters for all tastes. Will be back for sure.

I have never been to a front campaign before this was my first time I found it to be standard the staff are very good and went out of the way to make sure you were happy with everything.

Perfect family restaurant. Tasty affordable food and my kids favourite restaurant. Service is always amazing and also with a smile. You are made to feel welcome as you arrive - until you leave. I would highly recommend visiting Frankie & Bennys at the Glasgow Fort, you will not be disappointed.

The food was quite frankly inedible and bland. The macaroni cheese was like a bowl of mushy wallpaper paste- never tasted anything so disgusting. The garlic bread was so anaemic it was borderline raw, sent most of our meal back. Will never be back!

Went here last week and it’s your usual easy to go place. The people are nice, covid restrictions seem very well kept and it feels safe. I had a lovely server I think her name was Lee? This is the second time that me and my bf visited the restaurant in Glasgow fort since the lockdown easiest and loved the food. We had the same waiter served us Francisco (Franco) fantastic customer service and he made us feel very welcoming and he had a great knowledge about the vegan menu which was fantastic. I think this will be our favourite restaurant and always the 1st choice when we go out. Popped in after an afternoon of shopping for a bite to eat and so glad I did as they have a new menu which is definitely worth trying. I had the prawn diavalo which was super tasty and had a bit of a kick in spice. My friend had the hot burger and said it was amazing! Finally getting to sit down and write a review.Was in here today with my family food was really nice but not the biggest of portions.But what a buzzing energetic feel the place has with the staff always ready to assist with a smile.The girl serving us was Shantelle she was very efficient and so polite which you don’t always find with younger waiting staff.She couldn’t be more helpful and service with a genuine smile is rare and certainly made my day and she is a credit to this restaurant.We will definitely be back

My husband and I went for dinner and decided to go with the set menu. We both had the burger and fries with a "super sized" side of onion rings. The burger was lukewarm and there were only 7 onion rings in the portion (certainly not worth almost £4) We both had the brownie but looked more like a dogs dinner than the pic on the website tho tasted ok.The waiter was friendly and attentive but thanks to some squawking kids slightly ruined the atmosphere which is a shame as the food here used to be really good but wouldn't rush back any time soon. After waiting for 1 hr then being told ..they were starting our prawn risotto. ..why .because you now have to declare to them any allergies. .was told that our meals would he a little longer !!!!It would appear that 1 chef is allocated to customers with allergies and the people in ront of us declared an allergy too...so we had to wait while their good was prepared. ..Went in at 1345hrs had to leave at 1450hrs ..needed to pick up my grandaughter from school ... appalling wait !!!@

Met some friends in here for breakfast. Had a ball. Unlimited decaff coffee was a huge bonus. Had 5 cups over 2 hours. Staff always happy to replenish an empty cup. My eggs royale was tasty and everyone on the table really enjoyed their food, from the ciabatta to the pancakes. Would definitely return if in the area.

Out with the family and the rain hits. So we jumped into out local Frankie and Benny's at the fort to get a late breakfast. Food was prompt, well cooked and tasted amazing.

Been here many times before and stopped going because we had a bad experience so nervously we decided to give it one last go for a mid week meal, I must say that I’m glad we did because although the food was better than before it could still do with more improvement, but it was the waitress that really impressed, as a family we regularly go out for meals and Kiera (our waitress) is the best that we’ve experienced in a very long time, she couldn’t do enough for us and was genuinely very happy at her work, the 5 stars was all for Kiera, very impressed

Regularly visit. However, waited a while for drinks to arrive and partners pint of beer had went flat. When my partner then asked, who looked like either supervisor or manager, for a fresh pint she had an annoyed look on her face. Multiple staff then walked past after we had finished our meal and took ages before anyone actually cleared our plates. Feel sorry for our server who seemed to be rushed off feet and getting the brunt of it all.

I was here a couple weeks ago for a click an collect order that didnt go perfectly, what was to be a 40% discount on the bill ended up being about 12% which was a massive disappointment as the only reason I went was because of the discount. But I do very much appreciate how much they pushed to redeem themselves. I was then given a £20 voucher (more than what I would have gotten from the discount) and went to place my order tonight. I did have a wee issue with the order so I called up and went into the restaurant to get it all sorted. Even on a very busy Friday night I was made sure to be seen to right away so I would like to thank one of the managers (?) Stuart C. He made sure everything was swift and I was sorted out so thank you and I'm excited for my dinner tonight!

Been looking forward to trying the new updated vegan menu but it was a total disappointment. There is less vegan options that there was previously and in place of the very amazing chickenless nuggets is now some kind of potato skins that weren’t enjoyable at all. The previous menu was better! What I will say as a positive is the man serving us (dark hair & looked Italian or Greek) gave the best service I’ve ever know in this particular branch.

What has happened to Frankie and Bennys ? So disappointed in today’s visit. Gone are the busts of Frankie and Benny, gone are the 50s piped music in the restrooms, gone is the American/ Italian ambiance of this restaurant chain. Will we be back? Don’t know!

Not had the best experiences with Frankie & Benny’s in the past but this time was exceptional. Menu has changed for the better and the food is just delicious. Highly recommend the Capra salad and the black and blue burger it’s so tasty. The restaurant was extremely busy but service was quick and efficient. The manager Ross was our server. He was rushed off his feet due to the amount of diners but he made time to speak to us, made us feel very welcome and made our overall experience a good one. We will definitely be visiting again soon

Ordered All American @ £15 expecting something substantial, got burger & fries, very disappointing, my coke was flat asked foe replacement also flat £3.50. The single rating I gave for the apple tart. Service slow, portions small, bill big. I'm done with that chain for good.

My son and I nipped into Frankie & Bennie's at Glasgow Fort today.We've been here before a few times and the food has always been good with excellent service.I ordered the Tuscan soup as a starter, and the meatballs as my main.My son ordered a Margherita pizza, and a side of garlic bread.The soup promptly arrived and was excellent. However, the three pieces of garlic bread which accompanied it came in three different textures; 1 burnt, 1 undercooked (kind of like toast when you half toast it) and 1 perfect. I can't work out how they did that. The meatballs were very heavy, and tasted of fat - I managed to eat two, but wish I hadn't. The pasta which accompanied it was al dente, which is fine, but most of it was stuck together in groups of 2-3 pennes and also had burn marks on it as if it had been dropped in a pot of boiling water and not stirred or had olive oil added to stop it sticking.The pizza dough was like a sheet of paper - that thin. The cheese must've been straight out of a chilled fridge as it curdled when it was put on the hot base and tomato sauce.After we were served our mains, no member of the waiting staff came near us to ask the ubiquitous "Is everything ok with your food?".Not happy I just spent £25 (I didn't pay for the meatballs) and I now need to go feed me and my son.

About 1030, Friday 8th March I attended at Frankie & Benny's at Glasgow Fort to meet a friend for breakfast and a catch up. We both ordered a fried breakfast and they arrived quickly. On eating my fried egg I found a large hair cooked through the egg and as such, complained to be offered a new breakfast which I accepted. Whilst waiting for my breakfast my friend was eating his mushrooms and found a smaller and darker hair cooked in with the mushrooms. Needless to say, on speaking with the manager a second time, we declined the offer of a second replacement and left the restaurant. Not my normal experience with Frankie and Benny's, as a family we have eaten in F&B restaurants on a fairly regular basis over the years, shame because they do some good offers. Staff were friendly and to be honest, there's not much they could have done to stop us from leaving after finding the second hair, revolting and between us, we did well not to vomit when we found the first let alone the second!!! Poor standard of food hygiene!
