No volveré.

Tricky to give an objective review just a week before Christmas! The restaurant was very busy and the staff were all working hard ( and dressed in festive attire!) The starter of cheesy garlic bread arrived quickly, the bar drinks seemed to take a very long time but the bar was busy! I ordered fish and chips... lovey battered cod but peas were cool as were the chips. Grandson also had cool chips as did my husband with his very good burger. The chips were quickly replaced when the staff were informed. This is a large busy fast food restaurant so it wasn't particularly relaxing. We were not offered a desert menu or a coffee menu!

I went in for lunch but I ended up ordering from the lunch and evening menu. The staff were helpful and didn't mind the lunch menu is cheaper. The lunch menu is very cheap starters are £2,50 and mains for around £6.95. So we ordered two starters, two mains form the evening grill (a full rack of ribs with chips, corn and cold slaw and 7 0z steak with chips and onion rings), two desserts, two extra garlic dips and a coffee. The total bill came to £52. When leaving staff were very nice and they give two FB vouchers one for £10 of are next bill and one for 20% off are next bill. The restaurant was clean and quite busy for the time off day. The food is cook were you can see it which I always like and there was plenty off staff to serve you. All in all if you want fast Italian style food with a grill options this place is cheap, clean and provides fast service and good food.

Tonight was date night with the missus at Frankie and Benny's Dine in the Dome at Victoria Square!! We arrived at Frankie and Benny's around 6.45 this evening and relaxed over a drink whilst we looked at the 3 course menu for our special Evening meal in the Done at Victoria Square. We were escorted to the Dome by Justin the manager. On arrival there was a glass of Prosecco each, which we passed as we were both driving. We shared the starters of garlic mushrooms and Calamari. For mains we had the salmon and haddock fish cakes with fries and peas and chicken parmigiana which was served with garlic fries and spaghetti. The meals were tasty and portion sizes were big but I felt the chicken batter was a touch salty. For dessert we shared the banoffee basket and cinnamon waffle crunch. These were rich, creamy and sweet......The Dome was elegantly decorated and there was entertainment provided by a DJ spinning some chilled out tracks and songs from yesterday year. There were nine other couples enjoying the evening. The staff were fantastic and very courteous. What a fantastic experience in a truly remarkable venue!!! Well done Frankie and Benny's and Victoria Square.

We had been here a year before for lunch and found it ok. We read the reviews but decided to go anyway as we were close by what a mistake should have trusted the reviews! The starter we shared was excellent but the lemonade my husband ordered tasted like it had been in a dusty cupboard. I ordered a glass of wine a small glass waitress brought out a medium and the wine was like vinegar. Our mains of fish and chips and veggie burger were so unappetising we left over half our meal behind us and the server made another mistake with our mains. For all the wonderful restaurants in Belfast this is not one of them! The server did try her best to rectify mistakes but nothing could make up for the poor standard of drinks and mains.

Went here with my friend and the woman who served us wasn't very enthusiastic. We ordered a milkshake and a cocktail, and my friends cocktail came but my drink didn't. Our food came and I still hadn't my drink until 5 mins after or so. Very strange. Food was beyond disappointing. I'm a vegetarian and ordered the veggie burger. When it came out it was poorly presented. Chips just thrown on the plate and the burger was pathetic to say the least. It was burnt. Had a little bit of lettuce and tomato. Then I had about a teaspoon amount of coleslaw (I payed £10 for this). Once we were done it took about 15 minutes for our plates to be cleared. I also noticed customers coming in and waiting at least 5 minutes before staff even acknowledged them waiting to be seated. It wasn't busy at all. Think staff need a big attitude makeover and the menu needs to change or sack the chefs.

My friend and I decided to get a bite to eat in the local Victoria Square restaurant before going shopping. We called in for what we hoped for as a "quick" lunch which turned out to be a dreadful experience for both of us. We stood at the door for at least 5 minutes before being seated by a very rude waitress also referred to on the receipt as "Gemma" blonde hair and very sulky personality. She then came over asking were we ready which we weren't because we had just only sat down. She then came back over 10 minutes later to take our food ordered I explained to her I didn't want any coleslaw on my main dish. My friend and I decided to share a starter. She set down the starter and I asked for two side places and she rolled her eyes before coming back approximately 5 minutes later with the plates !!! Our starter (dough balls) were now cold and rock solid. I called a different waitress over to say that they were cold and the girl was so helpful and apologised profusely. We got new dough balls and they were of much better quality. Our mains came out and there was coleslaw on my plate I didn't want to say anything because she already looked like she couldn't be bothered. While eating our main course not once did the girl come back to do a check back and make sure our food was going fine or even offer a second drink. I've been to this restaurant several times and never once have I been given such bad service. I understand if restaurants are busy that the waitress/ waiter has to limit their time to each table but there was not even 8 tables in the restaurant. The waitress just came across as very rude, and made both me and my friend feel uncomfortable with the dirty looks she was giving us. From working in a restaurant I know this behaviour isn't acceptable and I look forward to your reply.

To be honest we chose to eat here because the menu was so varied but as I feared, this wasn't a good thing, the starters weren't good. Mine was Brooklyn bruschetta which consisted of cold greasy pulled pork on bruschetta. My wife's Caesar salad was very bland, just lettuce and paprika with a few croutons. Our main courses were again very average and we both agreed that wetherspoons would have been Just as satisfying at half the price! Won't ever be back here and the service was decidedly average.

Heading to the Odeon Cinema so we decided to visit Frankie and Benny's before the show. Hadn't been in F & B for a couple of years. Ordered a couple of pasta meals, The portions were quite small and the food less than average in taste. The mushrooms in my wife's pasta look and tasted terrible. The lasagna was a very slim lasanga and came without any salad whatsoever. The parmeasn cheese was grated at the table and was a very mean dusting. We are used to good Italian restaurants in Belfast that give decent size tastey portions. They even leave the parmeasn dish with you until you eat your meal. We will not be back in F & B anytime soon. Poor portions bad value for money. First time I have not left a tip ever in a restaurant. If you want a good meal go somewhere else. We told the waiter what we thought about the meals and he seemed not to care one way or the other. We declined a sweet as we felt we had suffered enough for one day.

However, it took the waitress ages to take our order. We had to approach them every time we needed something. The waitress kept jumping from table to table. She was rushing to serve our starters which was burnt btw to get to the table behind us which was so annoying as she slide the food to the centre of the table she didnt even bother talking to us asking what else we needed. It took an hour to get our mains and my friend said that her pasta was very bland! I had the sirloin steak med rare but the chef doesnt seems to know the difference between med rare and med well so had to sent it back. I just noticed this restaurant while shoopping on the Boucher Road.Beautiful inside and out. AS I was really hungry i decided to splash out on dinner.I wished I had saved my money. The restaurant wasn't that busy but the staff seemed to be jumping from one job to another. A guy gave me a menue.another guy asked if I was ok and whn I asked could i eat outside another guy brought me to my table, Took my order. He brought me a tea with in two minutes and 1 minute later brought my meal.Cold and I mean Cold food - obviously pre cooked and sitting for a while.£10 for butrger and chips on special! the chips were stone cold - I left them - the burger meat was horrible and cold and was like some cheap burger - not the lush burger I was expecting.Yes it was a 6 oz burger but it was awful and i was starving! As for crispy bacon - it was still white! - I wrapped it all up and brought it home for the dog!Even when they took the plate they didn't ask why the bun was on the plate or the chips hadn't been eaten or why an obviously wrapped up in a napkin burger was sitting on my table. No one asked was my meal ok after serving it.i asked were there any customer commentt cards and the member of staffsaid he didn't know what i was talking about.I explained - it is a card where customers can write what they thought of their meal - he said I hope you enjoyed your meal and handed me the bill.I said NO I diidn't eat my meal - it was horrible and cold and he didn't even say anything. For all the politeness of the staff at the start - they let them selves down with the food that was served and not caring what i had to say or not listening to what I had to say.I won't give them a second chance. Here's a tip for you FRANKIE AND BENNYS - cook your food to order . ASk your customers is everything ok. and if they tell you the food was cold or horrible - ask why and get the manager!

Had lunch here, found that the menu had not a lot of options for someone on a diet and that was gluten intolerance. I had ordered a goats cheese salad, with out the bread options which was £7.95. The salad came out on one half of the plate like a side salad. I have worked in restaurants myself and if I was setting that down to a customer who was paying that money I would have said to the chef, fill the plate up all they are having is salad. I would not have sat that down to a customer. The person that served us was a supervisor. I wanted to say something but my company wouldn't allow me and I feel that he should have had realised myself. The rest of the group thought the portion sizes were small for the price of the food. Very overpriced and we won't be back.

Really nice food and great service in Frankie and Benny's in Victoria Square and not that expensive. I got like a spicy chicken thing and was really nice freshly cooked and served with fries which was nice. I recommended people to try it out.

Great service as always.Music too loud although the sounds are cool funk and soul.My friend had a Margarita with added ham which she enjoyed, the wrong pizza arrived and was quickly taken away by the very apologetic waitress, wondered how they remade the order in 3/4 mins flat???I ordered off the Special Pizza list, a steak pizza with onion marmalade, this was a mistake, the marmalade when hot was sticky sweet and the base was wet and damp, had to use knife and fork, the steak pieces were chewy, although this was my order, I feel this pizza is poorly thought out and simply does not work. Disappointing.

Food and service was quick and to be in and out within the hour fully satisfied was great. Erin served us and was efficent and extremely bubbly. Its great when you feel welcomed in a restaurant. Well done Frankie and Bennys- fast becoming a fan

My daughter and I called into this restaurant in Victoria square for lunch on Saturday 31st January. This is our favourite place to eat out in Belfast with the" barbecue garlic bread" starter being my daughters all time favourite. The place was very busy as usual but our waiter Joseph was very friendly, witty and attentive and couldn't do enough to make sure we had an enjoyable meal out - which we definitely did. Great place, great food and very pleasant staff and in our opinion the only place to eat out in Victoria Square!

We were on a weekend break in Belfast for my wife's Christmas present. There were many places we could have gone too in Belfast that would have served gluten free food (she is coeliac) but when we looked at the menu on line for this restaurant there was so much she could have it seemed silly not to go here. My wife had chicken and mushrooms wrapped in lettuce leaves for starter and lamb shank for main, both were great portions she couldn't eat it all. I had potato skins then chicken and ribs again so much food and very well presented. The staff were great and really knew their stuff, we will definitely come here again next time in Belfast!

This restaurant looks like a 50's American/Italian diner. loved the decoreThe meals were great value with several meal deals. The meals are large portions and really tasty.Even though the restaurant was packed we were seated after only a few minutes wait and we didn't have a booking both times we went. The fact the restaurant is packed is testament to the quality and value of the food.

Food is ok, could find a lot better places to eat in Belfast, a friend recommended to me stating it was like the Cheese Cake Factory God I was expecting a lot but didn't meet expectations! Starter and Main with two drinks came to £60 odd which was OTT for what we got!

Visited this restaurant for lunch with my daughter and grandson. Was excited when I was told the had a gluten free menu. But very disappointed when I ordered. My daughter got a burger in a bun fully dressed and fries in the lunchtime deal. But when I choose the burger I gothink no bun and had to have a baked potato as the fries weren't gluten free. I wasn't allowed this as part of there lunchtime deal so I was charged £10. I was disgusted. I complained to frankie and bennys I'm still waiting a reply

This was my third time visiting Frankie and Bennys in Belfast. The first two times, the food was excellent and I was looking forward to a birthday dinner there. Previous meals included fabulous steaks and BBQ ribs, followed by delicious desserts. This time we ordered pasta and one person ordered cod and chips. We both found the meal cold and extremely unsatisfactory. When we complained about the meal at the end, the staff member shrugged off the complaint and said we should have said something sooner to her. I would have at least thought they would have offered some kind of discount to make up for the poor quality. If my complaint had been dealt with in a more compassionate manner, I would not rule out visiting Frankie and Bennys again the next time I visit Belfast, however I don't think that I will visit again.

When we got into the restaurant we were told we would have to wait at the bar for 30 minutes. We had to stand as it was busy and there were no seats left. After 10 minutes our buzzer went, the women at the till told us to go up to the top of the stairs. We got taken to our seats and were asked did we want dough balls but we said no.The guy taking orders was busy so it did take him some time to take our order. We just order mains as we were stuck for time. I order the chicken pitta with lettuce, mayo and bbq sauce which came with corn on the cob and fries, my partner ordered a cheese burger, with bbq dip and fries. He said he's was ok, nothing special. In my pitta there was about 2 pieces of lettuce and very little mayo and the chicken was a tad dry. The fries weren't really warm. The last time I was here was a few years ago and I really enjoyed it, but this time I don't think I would be in a rush back again. The one thing which was good was the guy who served us he was very pleasant and helpful. As for the staff as you go in the door they weren't that overly pleasant to be as front of house.

My friend and I went here for lunch. One of the first things we noticed was before we were even seated we were asked if we would like garlic bread while we took a look at the menu. Thinking it was appetizers and free since we didn't ask for it we said ok. Ended up being charged for it which I felt was a little sneaky way of getting you to order starters even if you didn't want to.The main meal was just ok.....wasn't piping hot chips were cold and also fairly small portions.... The corn on the cob was a mean size. And it was way over priced for what you get. Service was just ok. Overall I wouldn't go back not for what your being charged and for what you get.

There is nothing great about this restaurant, the food was ok, but I will not be running back for it. I did remind me of TGI Fridays. It was very very busy and we waited 30 minutes for our table. If you are nearby and looking for somewhere to eat, you will enjoy your meal, but do not go out of your way to get here.

Okay, a franchise of this brand opened recently in Derry and had wanted to try it out. When in Belfast the opportunity arose and we took it. My partner and I and our three year old ventured in. On arrival we were greeted by a member of staff who gave us a gadget to page us when a table was available as it was quite busy, a quirky and good idea as you can sit at the bar while waiting. The restaurant/bar was clean, this is where the happy story ends. A fruit juice(for child) and non alcohol cocktail were ordered and received warm. We were then paged for our seats. Excellent retro music did play through the restaurant. After 20 mins a girl asked to take our order, however we hadn't been given a kiddies menu so this resulted in further delay. After orders taken food followed very quickly. My partner had loaded potato skins which were tepid and stogie my bruschetta was actually nice and fresh. Now bring the mains or in this case not. My partner did get what she ordered in a BBQ wrap which was dried fried chicken doused in cheap BBQ sauce with French fries that were stuck together, my penne chicken carabonara arrive first as a spicy chicken penne dish, then was taken back where again it was return wrong as a sloppy spaghetti dish send a replacement for his was declined. Our wee girl was given what was supposed to be chicken slices in a pitta bread, what came was a chicken fillet peppered beyond human consumption sliced in half and stuffed in a plain dry hard pitta bread. Even then her dessert of vanilla ice cream was inedible as it has ice crystals because it was obviously re frozen after melting. Food was terrible. Service was terrible and after all of this we were charged 50% of the bill which in my opinion was 50% too much. Nothing authentic about here total rip off and absolute muck for food. This or the Derry franchise will NEVER get our custom again. GIVE WIDE BERTH

I took a group of students and staff to this restaurant on a Monday lunch time. During the lunch a waitress tipped a tray of drinks down my back. Without saying a word she proceeded to wipe up the floor. When I asked for something to dry myself with she wordlessly handed me a piece of blue paper from a roll. My coat was soaked, I was soaked and everyone at the table was stunned at her attitude. However, when I mentioned it to the Manager he also was quite unconcerned and said I should send the bill for the dry cleaning of my coat and they would cover it. I thought this was an absolute minimum! I sat in wet clothes the whole way home and a fortnight later sent the receipt for the dry cleaning with a covering letter to Frankie and Benny's. The result - they have ignored the letter. I am shocked by such an appalling attitude to customers. i would suggest that if you want any level of customer service, GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

I went into this restaurant on a Sunday mid afternoon, it was not over busy. I chose from the special 2 course menu, expecting quite a deal. The food was okay, and plentiful, but the bill was over £17. For a cafe of this type, and the quality of the food, presentation etc. that was expensive. The cost of their Pepsi's are the most expensive I have found outside of London. Will choose one of the less expensive restaurants in Belfast next time.

Visited on Bank Holiday Monday so the 15 wait was expected for a well-known chain in a big city. The waitress was nice but obviously rushed off her feet as she didn't stop at our table for more than 20 seconds and seemed distracted. The starters were poor, no presentation, no flavour, salad had no dressing. The main only got worst, the meatballs were inedible, the chips with 'cheese and bacon' came out as cold plastic cheese sauce and greasy lumps of fat. I could see my wrap sitting for 10 minutes on the pass before it got to the table. The waitress noticed that our food was barely touched but didn't ask if everything was okay and before we could tell her she was off with all the plates and didn't return.

A group of eight of us stopped here for late lunch yesterday, having heard great reviews from others. We were asked to take a seat in the bar area to wait for our table. The bar area was really untidy and the floor was dirty. It seemed to be used as staff quarters with everything from packets of shop bought donuts to a coffee machine sitting on the counters alongside coats and cardigans. The toilets were clean but did smell!! We were shown to our seats and again the floor was filthy underneath our booth, napkins, bits of food and generally sticky. The tables only seemed to be cleaned if they were needed, one table opposite us was left with dirty plates for our entire stay! The food was okay, but expensive for what you get, I choose a crab salad and it fed me although they could go easy with the sweet chilli sauce. My dessert was delicious and my praline late was one of the best coffees iv ever tasted.I certainly wont be in a hurry to return
