First of all I would like to thank SAM a true gentleman he couldn’t do enough for both my husband And I Now the food it was really good very well presented a true little bit of Italy my only negative would be my limoncello spritz I would of liked it in a cocktail glass and not a tumbler Would we go back again definitely and I would recommend it

A lovely family meal at FM in Cheltenham this evening. The pizzas tasted amazing. The staff were lovely and worked really hard to deliver a good service (busy). The price overall was very reasonable. Look forward to seeing you again :)

From the moment we entered everything was top class. The manager and staff were all very friendly and obliging. The service was faultless and the food fantastic. An extremely well run restaurant that is top of our go to list in Cheltenham.

Restaurant was very busy when we arrived, and we were seated very quickly. Menus delivered immediately as well as coloured pencils and kids' activity sheets. Our waitress was amazing, took our order from memory and everything arrived as requested. Just superb. The food was very tasty indeed, and although I don't like pizza, they all looked delicious. My friends devoured them. I had two small bites, the beef ragu and the bruchetta, which had such depth and richness, it was lovely. Will definitely return sooner, rather than later. A lovely meal experience, thank you Franco Manca Cheltenham.

The restaurant itself is bustly and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable. Now to the pizza which are cooked fresh in the large oven inside the restaurant itself. They are sourdough pizzas and unfortunately both of us found our pizzas to be somewhat unsatisfactory. The best way to describe them was that the dough was soggy or pappy and not very warm. We did query this with the waitress who confirmed that was how they were meant to be but to us it made the pizza somewhat unpleasant to eat though the topping on mine was tasty. The house wine my partner had also verged on the point of being sent back as it had a strange orangey look and not too good a taste.

Both waiters were excellent. We came in close to closing on a Sunday night anbotg were very cheery and paid attention to detail

Eating here previously, we've discovered we prefer sourdough pizza over other pizza dough; & as I haven't considered a pizza as much of a lunchtime 'treat' previously, its actually nice to enjoy a sourdough one at Franco Manca ! Friendly staff, and a nice location in Cheltenham makes this a sensible lunchtime choice. We had two minor 'criticisms,' mine being the pizza wasn't cut with a pizza wheel before arriving at the table. Next time I'll remember to ask ! My wife thought the beef ragu topping, could have been a bit more generous.

Highly recommend this restaurant! Food is fresh and tasty, staff are helpful and friendly. The service is always quick and efficient, I come here every time I’m in Cheltenham if your there you must try it out!!

All of us really enjoyed our food. Slight issue with dips not being brought out until we had nearly finished pizza’s which defeated the point a little…but food was absolutely delicious! Service was somewhat of a different story. We very quickly picked up on the fact that there was clearly a lot of ‘tension’ between members of staff. We all felt pretty awkward and uncomfortable quite quickly. First there was a little debate over the table we would be sitting at, then digs made at other members of staff when serving us separately, a little dig and look given to each other when serving food etc. All of us had individually picked up on this and then commented on it half way through. Clearly there are some issues between members of staff working here, which is always a given in the hospitality industry, but this shouldn’t be as evident, if not at all evident, to paying customers. It certainly tainted our experience as a whole. We unwillingly paid the service charge as none of us felt comfortable to decline it, but would strongly advise management look into this problem as some people will not be as quiet about these issues as we were.

1st January….. on a cold wet early evening (5pm) in Cheltenham, a day after the races- walking through the town for a bite to eat- we decided to pop into Franco Manca! We stepped in made it 3 steps and got a very cold welcome! Around 10% occupancy which is understandable at 5pm! We asked if they had a table for 2 for a quick pizza? The response was… “my manager said we are fully booked” WELL!! Obviously they don’t need customers! Couldnt be bothered to serve or even try to accommodate! AVOID! They don’t appear to have customers at the forefront of what they do! If they did, some consideration would have been great! But NO! We won’t be back! Think about it before you walk in!

Great, friendly service, very helpful staff & tasty food at a reasonable price. We were a large family with young children and it catered for each age group. I would definitely recommend anyone to pop in if ever in the area.
