Plesently surprised with the food. Watched our pizzas being prepared & then cooked. Extremly good service & value for money for a change , good size & staff happy to give a doggy bag.. will use again for certain.

Excellent pizzas and very helpful staff. I had a gluten free pizza which was absolutely delicious. I’ve had gf pizzas in various chain restaurants and it’s a hit and miss most of the time. This time the dough was great, soft and well baked in the wood fired oven. Will go back when in Bournemouth next time.

Great position close to BH2 in centre of town. We booked in using the queue app on the door and only had a couple of minutes wait. Very friendly helpful waitress. They basically only serve pizzas plus a few salads but you can see them being made. We had a deal and it was so cheap but would return even a full prices. My pizza was good but i didnt particularly enjoy my topping (wild broccoli) but that was a personal thing.

Great service from Daria! You can see she smiles in her eyes even with a face mask on. Food was great as usual, just lacks in atmosphere which is a bit sad

Visité varias veces mientras estuve en Bournemouth durante una semana. Excelentes pizzas con masa madre y no significan con los ingredientes a diferencia de otra gran cadena de pizzas. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Una noche comí una ensalada y era de la misma calidad que las pizzas. Creo que el personal son casi todos estudiantes italianos de la universidad local y tenían una cierta despreocupación que era más encantadora que irritante.

Found this place by accident and was attracted by sourdough pizzas. Had a great meal, authentic ingredients, good food, service was perfect. Thoroughly recommend this place.

La comida, como siempre, fue muy buena y sabrosa. Los camareros eran amables y amables, sin embargo, tiene un poco de conocimiento sobre los vinos que ofrecen. El entrante se sirvió al mismo tiempo que el plato principal, lo cual era un poco extraño. Pero por lo demás estaba bien.

Si tu pizza tradicional de masa fina, el mejor lugar en mi opinión es Franco, he estado viniendo aquí en los últimos 3 años nunca me ha decepcionado la pizza número 4, la limonada casera y el tiramisú ocasional que es tan bueno. . . como polvo de oro se acaba en poco tiempo. . . . . Sour dough pizzas are absolutely amazing, puddings are sublime, the staff are outrageously helpful, the bossman is one of a kind and takes his customer service to another level, I highly recommend the scotch bonnet chili sauce if your brave enough 😁

Muy buena comida y ambiente y los precios también estaban absolutamente bien.Me hubiera gustado tener unas cuantas cervezas más para elegir, pero en general, recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar.Lo único que impidió que recibiera cinco estrellas fue que nuestro servidor estaba bastante impaciente y seguía molestándonos. Amablemente le dije que nos diera tiempo y luego retrocedió, pero inicialmente fue exagerado.¡Aunque en general es genial y la pizza es increíble!

La comida estuvo muy buena como otras veces, el entrante y las dos pizzas salieron al mismo tiempo y muy rápido incluso antes de que nos sirvieran nuestras bebidas así que eso nos sorprendió. No hubo revisión durante el tiempo que estuvimos comiendo. El restaurante estaba vacío y había mucho personal, así que en caso de que necesitáramos sal, pimienta o un poco de aceite, no podíamos llamar la atención de ellos. Una vez que terminamos, se despejaron los platos y nuevamente nadie volvió a ofrecer un postre o bebidas calientes, luego pedimos la cuenta y fuimos a Creams por un helado.

Probablemente la mejor pizza que he probado en mucho tiempo. Visité mientras estaba de vacaciones con mi pareja. No había visto este restaurante antes y no sabía que era una cadena. Mi experiencia en esta Franco manca ha sido bastante atroz, me encanta esta franquicia, pero este lugar es completamente incompetente y Franco manca usa formas poco éticas de obtener datos de los clientes. Entré en esta Franco manca (completamente vacía) y llevo 5 minutos esperando que alguien me atendiera. Pero el camarero y el gerente siguen mirándome y no me sirven mientras sirven a otros en mi lugar. ¿Quizás porque soy moreno? Realmente no lo sé, pero también entiendo italiano y el entrenador no hablaba muy bien de mí en su idioma. Fue muy decepcionante y una completa pérdida de tiempo para ellos. Entonces, una camarera decidió hablar conmigo después de un tiempo y me dijo que saliera a escanear el código QR y pusiera mis datos. El gerente se me acercó (un tipo calvo) y me dijo que lo haría con su teléfono y me obligó a darle mis datos como nombre completo y número de teléfono. Ahora me sentí realmente ofendido por esto porque prefieren obtener mi nombre en lugar de estar tranquilos y esperar a que compre en esta tienda. Pero, el gerente seguía preguntándome mis datos si no, no podía atenderme. Y luego me gritó en italiano desde atrás y me jodió porque me negué. Por qué Franco manca incluso pide datos a sus clientes. ¿Es para vender y generar más ingresos? ¿O fue el gerente solo una pérdida de tiempo y un muy mal profesional? Gran pizza y buena relación calidad-precio, pero solo tenían dos señoritas muy trabajadoras que sirven. Tuvimos que esperar más de una hora para nuestras pizzas y tomar nuestro pedido tomó 15 minutos. La gerencia necesita resolver esto, ya que podría ser una experiencia culinaria tan increíble. El personal claramente se apresuró y merece el mayor elogio.

Visited with family and young children mid afternoon so quiet. The pizzas for children were large so 2 toddlers could share. In this case some went home for later. On our table we had a variety of pizza toppings and starter. All were good and tasty. Good service and value. Will return

I have eaten in four or five of the restaurants over the last few years and just like the others, this one did not disappoint. The staff are always friendly and helpful no matter how busy they are. The food is tops every time at such a good a price that still amazes me. Great atmosphere too, so whats not to like at Franco Manca.

Stopped for a quick lunch while shopping and I have to say it exceeded all expectations. We shared the special meat pizza and a side salad which was perfect for the two of us. The pizza base and sauce was one of the best I've ever tasted - full marks Valentino!

18 ladies on a knitting and crochet weekend descended on the restaurant for dinner. We had fantastic service,delicious meals and our server had kept everyone's bill seperate. All totally correct. A brilliant evening. Thank you.

First time at this restaurant friendly staff good quick service starter and main very tasty would definitely recommend

We visited late on a Sat Eve. Firstly, we waited for a long time to be seated, though this was due to a large group of people leaving and paying at the entrance so we were mistaken to be part of their group...not a problem. We then waited to be served, and our waitress was really nice and surprised no-one had come to serve us yet. I wouldn't mind if it was busy, but the staff were standing around/packing up/hugging each other instead. Pizza was nice, but was missing the kale it mentioned on the menu on both pizzas. I was going to let the staff know this just for future reference, but no-one asked us how we were doing and no-one asked us how our meals were. We asked for the bill with our cards in our hand, the bill was left on the table and the server went off to continue closing down rather than bring the card machine over, so we waited again, then eventually paid and left.

We came here for lunch yesterday, and were mostly happy with our visit. We were seated promptly, and the friendly waitress took our order in good time. Our pizzas came 15/20 mins later and were great, although we had to remind them about the garlic bread we ordered - seems they had forgotten! Other than that, lovely place - good food and great value too.

Franco Manca is a great pizza place in the square. The wait is consistently slow but it's a great place for families and friends to dine.

Friendly attentive staff. Sadly the plates are not heated so the pizzas went cold very quickly! So sadly wouldn’t return.

It looks like it should be able to deliver authentic Italian style pizzas. Everything augers well. The cooks, the freshly made dough, the wood fired oven, the superb range of items on the menu. And the pizzas look very good when they arrive, freshly cooked. And the cooked dough is so superbly soft and pliable you could fold it up like a tissue and put it in your pocket, if you wanted to. However, the disappointment is the taste. The pizza doesn’t have a vibrant taste. The dough, the tomato the mozzarella didn’t really do it for my taste buds. Even after liberally salting the pizza remained uncooperative in releasing any real flavours, which was a shame as the service, and the drinks were very good.

Went in for an early evening dinner, we had the 5 & 7 pizza between us was very good. Washed down with prosecco (in a water glass?) & a negroni sbagliato both nice. Service was good but forgot the pesto dip we ordered and by the time of the check back I had ate nearly all my pizza. We shared tiramisu, we liked it but expected better after such a tasty pizza. Tasty food and well priced, would recommend.

Had a great pizza and large salad and a lager for 20 pounds. Quick and friendly service. They serve a "no logo" beer--veryb good and well-priced.

After being recommended for some friends I went this weekend for lunch, the pizza was awesome, the dough was thin and perfectly cooked, I tried the number 7 and I totally enjoyed, we asked for a starter too, I would not waste my hunger on it, was average but pizza 100% recomendable, I definitely will come back with friends, nice environment and fast service, probably one of the best pizzas in Bournmouth if you like real pizza from Napoli

I can't fault the service and the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. However, when my beautiful looking pizza arrived without a tomato base (it did not specifiy this on the special's board from whence it came), I asked for some ketchup to saucify my dish. The waiter apologised but said 'we don't do ketchup or mayo'. I can't help but feel that a reasonably priced establishment which entertains children is a being a little pretentious. I just wanted some red on my beige.

Took my family for late lunch, the restaurant was buzzing with great atmosphere, great service from all the team at Franco Manca Bournemouth, specially Fabio was on top of his game looking after our table also making sure all the guests where well looked after.

I would consider myself a connoisseur on pizza's as i have visited Italy many times and i have a wood fired pizza oven in my garden, these pizzas are excellent and reasonably priced and would recommend.

This place is located right in the town centre next to Debenhams.Upon arrival we were given a friendly welcome and quickly seated and offered a drink while we looked through the menu.The drinks on offer were good but served in small tumblers.The food on offer was pizza only I had a meat special with not much meat in fact the toppings were sparse and I would say that this place is aimed at students who want cheap and cheerful and not for middle aged couples like us who came here on a Thursday evening

Had a meal in this restaurant for the first time and I can only describe more negatives then positives.

Popped in for a lunch meal. Found it to be a clean well and well set up. Pizzas were fresh and not your normal squashed dough base . The pizzas are made by flattening dough by hand , no rolling pin The toppings were fresh . We had a table salad . Which I could not fault .

Admittedly I was abit dubious about coming to this place, because of the experience I had with a different restaurant(my last review). My opinion completely changed upon entering the restaurant, the waiters were wonderful and polite. We got shown our tables straight away, and went through the specials - which were on the wall. We ordered our food, and we got it promptly. The pizza was delicious and it's great value for money. The pizza was huge. I would recommend this place. Great service, great place

We visit often and the food is quick and yummy but the service is always slow. It's a shame as the waiters/waitresses are very friendly they just take a while to get to you!

We came to Bournemouth for a couple of day for the holiday and we were looking at the restaurant for dinner. We visited the Franco Manca at dinner time for the first time. Everything was really delicious, fresh and tasty. Prices are cheap. Good service and staff always smiling. We are really liked it. What was she's name is? blondie tall waiter I can't remember her name is but thanks very much for your helping. She is the best waiter in the restaurant.

The servers were really nice, and the food was so great! The atmosphere was very personable, and you can see your pizzas being made.

We had eaten here on our last visit to Bournemouth and just had to come back. Conveniently located in the square, would definitely recommend eating here if you're in the mood for pizza. Loved the salads and burrata cheese. We were looking for caprese salad but wasn't on the menu. Fabio suggested the burrata dish which was similar and very good. Pizza was great, you need to let them know when you order if you want yours more well done. Good to eat here where everything s fresh. Fabio is a great host!

Booked a table of 7 for Friday evening and when we got there we changed in table inside for one outside , the staff were happy to accompany this happy to set the table up .

I ordered for collection on their website, which was quick, easy and customisable and the pizza was ready for the selected earliest time. Can't comment on the atmosphere or the service, but the quality of the food, as always at Francos, was five star.

We went here on our first night in Bournemouth, fantastic service from the moment we got here you can see the pizzas being cooked. The pizzas are fresh and simple the way they should be will definitely be returning amazing staff.

First visit to Franco Manca and I will definitely be back. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The selection was great and the food was delicious. Had one of the specials to start, can’t remember what it was called, but goodness me, it was good. Ordered the marguerita pizza and again, a simple pizza made well.

Did not have a booking, but the staff shuffled things around and made a table for 7. The offering was simple (think they offered around 7 types) and they supported gluten free pizza's. The food was very tasty and reasonable priced. The atmosphere was great and had excellent time watching the pizza being made and the interaction between the staff. Could not fault it.

This is our third visit to this Italian restaurant. The food is exceptional, the service is exceptionally friendly and efficient. Everything is freshly prepared and the oven baked Pizzas are just incredible.

Franco Manca is one of the best places to get a pizza in town.

My wife and I were at a show at the Pavilion Theatre so wanted somewhere we could have pre-show food.

A decent place for Sourdough Pizzas with usual vegetarian options. A 12-14" Margherita costs about 5-6 GBP and with toppings can easily go to 9-11 GBP. Alcohol also available. Outdoor seating available.

To say this is cheap,and cheerful might seem like a backhanded compliment, but it's not, as the staff were friendly and the price was reasonable. Admittedly, there isn't a huge range of dishes on offer, especially is you're vegetarian or vegan, but I enjoyed a simple tomato and cheese pizza for a good price. It was really filling, so need for dessert!

Great service. Food was amazing the no label lager so good we stayed longer for another. Sampled 6 starter dishes including the garlic bread with mozeralla, outstanding. Definitely going back.

This was my first visit. We were a group of 6.

We had the vegetarian special and the tomato mozzarella basil pizzas. The former was excellent and the latter bland. So go for the vegetarian special for £8.90. The service is good. The wine is very good. Try the Montepulciano. The ambiance is nice too.

Visited on a whim as it was our first time in Bournemouth and we fancied pizza. So glad we did as this place is amazing! The pizza was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The prices were brilliant in comparison to other pizza places and when I initially saw the menu, I assumed the pizzas were going to be really small - they weren’t! Would definitely recommend to all pizza lovers!

I have eaten several times at Franco Manca as I love the pizza and the atmosphere. Lately, the customer service has been elevated to the next level with the addition of a new supervisor, Vittoria. She is friendly, knowledgable, super quick and nothing is too much trouble for her. Last time we visited, she recommended I should try the pizza with sausage and lentils and I was not disappointed! What a wonderful experience, grazie mille!

When you first get to the restaurant and look at the menu, it might look like limited options of pizzas, but for so long pizza has been about the topping for me, that I’ve forgotten all about how important the dough is! It’s a mouth experience everyone should have, as Franco Manca really has specialised itself in the sour dough, and you’re guaranteed to get a good pizza when you go in there!

Really good vegan pizza ! Affordable, fast service and absolutely delicious freshly cooked pizza. Lots of quality Italian ingredients and loved the proper brick oven.

Short menu and limited drinks means a quick turn around for this restaurant. Food is deliciously prepared in a wood oven and the drinks and beer are cold.. Really great restaurant and great prices too. If you are looking for a quick bite and a beer then this is the place to go to for sure.

Best pizza I've found in Bournemouth really quick service only thing I would have liked was warm plates as by the time you had got half way through the pizza was quite cool but still a great sourdough pizza reasonably priced

Assolutamente fantastico! Went in for the first time for a late lunch and so glad we did. We basically followed our noses! A waft of oregano, baked dough and tomato dragged us in. The menu is simple with seven pizzas, a small handful of starters, a few salads, so it's easy to choose.

Fracno Manca pizzas are absolutely delicious and their prices are incredibly cheap. I've been to the one in London with friends before, and I was equally impressed with the one in Bournemouth. Friendly service!

Obviously this is a pizza specialist, but as two of us had eaten pizza the night before, my partner and I chose the spicy chicken and bacon salad. The chicken was tender and tasty, the bacon thick and well cooked and the salad well dressed with shavings of cheese. It was really delicious. Our friends who had pizza were equally impressed. Nice restaurant. We really enjoyed our pizza. The pizza dough is excellent, it reminded me of my stay in Italie.

Went in for a quick lunch/snack. Received warm greeting and seated quickly with menus. Menu not that comprehensive, mainly pizza which is their specialty but not huge range of toppings available. As I am dieting decided to go for a salad which was a mistake. The waitress who took the order appeared to understand but after a reasonable wait brought the wrong salad. My husbands pizza arrived correctly and stole a slice of that and was delicious. Apologies all round and correct chicken ceasar salad finally arrived. It wasn’t very appetising too much oil on salad and bacon very tough. Drinks we ordered wine ok but delivered in tumblers which felt wrong. Bill came quickly but took waitress ages to come over with a card machine and she seemed surprised we needed to pay with a card! All in all very reasonably priced but pizza probably only thing worth ordering. They need to extend range of available toppings for their pizzas!

Found franco manco on deliveroo after watching England win the rugby. Delivery so fast food was hot. So mucb better then ordering a pizza express.

Went with my partner on a Monday and the restaurant was reasonably busy. The choice is limited but everything seems to be organic and freshly made with sourdough.

As always with all Franco Mance the pizza was fantastic. Great service in this restaurant. First time I tried he green cola as I was driving and it’s a great homemade coke alternative!

Been to Franco Manca's a couple of times now and can't fault it. Been to Italy (a lot) and struggle to find a better pizza outside of Italy. Thin crispy base, perfect tomato sauce and simple toppings. Plus fantastic, speedy service. All at a very affordable price.

I only wish we had Franco Manca in the US. Having lived in the UK for 2 yrs we certainly were excited to have found a quick pizza place. The dough is real sourdough and is chewy, like its supposed to be. There is no other pizza like it and we’ll be hard pressed to find anything like it back in the US.

Straightforward no frills menu, freshly cooked Italian, ideal for a quick break. Nice food, and reasonable prices. Situated in the Square, the middle of Bournemouth shopping centre, so hand.

Ate here a month ago. After a 45 minute wait for our food and everyone around us being served, turns out they hadn’t processed our order. Not ideal, but it happens. Disappointed, but not one to judge on a single visit we tried again.

We came for a late family lunch on Thursday. First off, we waited to be seated as countless members of staff walked past with no acknowledgement what so ever. Once eventually seated it took over half an hour for a drinks order to be taken and the rest of the meal followed that trend! The quickest service we received was the bill. Then we get to the food, soggy pizza that took nearly an hour to be served! We certainly won’t be back!

Great authentic pizza, generous portions, reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The only downside was - you can see into the kitchen as the pizzas are made... which also meant we could observe hygiene standards. Unfortunately we noticed that staff were not washing their hands frequently. I am a vegetarian and I saw one staff member going from touching some cured meats, then not washing his hands and touching the next pizza, which is cross contamination. This does not show consideration for ethical and religious beliefs concerning meat. We also observed that there was no hand wash used when another staff member did wash their hands.

Came here for lunch today and have only good things to say. I had the ham and mascarpone pizza and my partner had a margherita - both huge, super yummy and great value for money. I had bought a gift card as a present to my boyfriend some months previous for the value of £25. Today when I tried to pay with it, the value on the till came up as zero. I had already had a feeling it may happen as when I purchased it there were some issues in adding the money to the card. I have to say a big thank you to the man who served us as he completely gave me the benefit of the doubt and apologised for the mistake and didn’t try to charge me - I imagine in many other places I wouldn’t have been believed or would have had to put up a fight! Really appreciate my lovely lunch and your kindness in accepting the gift card without fuss or question :) cheers x

When you are first given the menu, it's hard to believe that they offer so few options! It's really limited. They don't offer any of the high street beers just there own, (no logo craft beer) which is terrible. The food was bland and tasteless, small portions, don't waste your time, money or taste buds!

The food was cooked to order. It was excellent and good value. Restaurant was well set and liked the lighting. Service was good.

Heard how good this place was so gave it a go. The lamb sausage and potato starter had flavour but also gristle and bone! The pizza however was totally tasteless was meant to have been ham, m'room and ricotta. The bottled beer was also not chilled enough.

Stood at the desk and waited to be seated, 2 members of staff came to the desk by the entrance. No greeting or eye contact made by either of them. Appreciate that it was busy but this was just rude. Took our custom elsewhere

Asked waiter to recommend a veggie pizza he suggested the special. It wasn't really. It consisted of a cheese and tomato paste and about four small slices of green pepper. No one came to ask if we wanted any other drinks, food etc. Spoke to who I presume was the manager to pay bill and asked what was special about the pizza. He explained quite abruptly
