We had the Sunday Carvery i had Roast Beef +Roast Turkey my husband had Roast Lamb +Roast Pork with cracking all the meat was delicious and very tender and lots of vegetables certainly get big pieces of the meat can honestly say for the price best Carvery we have been to and will certainly be coming back can highly recommend it and the owners+Staff are very helpful and friendly

We recently visited the restaurant for Sunday carvery and it was excellent. The carvery is available in small, medium or large to suit any appetite. The meats were so tender and a great choice of vegetables, nicely cooked and piping hot. The service was very good as always. The desserts are lovely and home made by Maria and would highly recommend the cheese cake and lemon meringue. We usually visit during the week or on a Saturday but would recommend a Sunday visit and will be back soon. It’s also advisable to book a table on a Sunday.

I went here on the recommendation from family members and was not disappointed. This restaurant is tucked away in a retirement village but well worth a visit if you are looking for great food and excellent service. The menu has a good range of choices the portion sizes are generous. My picky daughter was even happily catered for! You won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely outstanding food. Great service from all staff and management. Birthday cake was as light as a feather. A lovely evening with great company.

This is the best sunday carvery I have ever had, there is a choice of 4 meats and a veggy option and the selection of veg is outstanding. The cauliflower cheese is to die for. They even went out of there way to make my son a pizza. We were a large family group and we were all catered for. The staff were lovely and friendly and the owner even came out for a toast. We are definitely going back. Highly recommended. Great quality food at a reasonable price!

Went with five friends, so four vegetarians on our table. Offered brucetta as apetisers as all meals cooked to order. Happy to wait as excellent mushroom stroganoff and rice with garlic bread and superb vegetarian pizza. Wonderful company, a very pleasant night out.

I eat in this restaurant everyday they are open and have always done so since Francesco and Maria arrived here about 4 years ago. They are always friendly and polite and will cook your choice of food how you prefer it, complying with any dietary requirements you may have. The food is always fresh, tasty and I’m always given my 5 vegetables everyday, usually with my choice of fish fillet , available that day, with delicious sauces. There are several meat dishes and vegetarian dishes too. Portions are quite large but you can ask for a smaller one if you prefer. They absolutely do their very best to ensure all their customers are satisfied with their choice of meal, or they will replace it with an alternative one. If you don’t have time to eat in the restaurant you can phone them and order a takeaway for collection. For residents of Holderness Grange Village you can even have your meal delivered to your door if you are unable to get to the restaurant , for whatever reason! Francesco and Maria work very long hours to ensure they provide training for their waitresses, and a spotlessly clean place with plenty of food choices. Most customers are very happy with the food and service, but a very small minority like to post unjustified derogatory reviews on the internet.

It’s always a pleasure to eat at this lovely restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant.

Always a friendly reception, lovely food and plenty of it. Very reasonably priced and unrushed experience. The Sunday carvery is particularly good. The Pizzas are delicious too .

This is our favourite place to eat especially with our family and one of our grandsons is a vegetarian and was catered for very well. The place is always very clean which is a must for me and my family. The food is always delicious and I have never had a bad meal there and I go there at least twice weekly. I feel I must refer to the last review which in my opinion is pure fantasy from someone with a grudge against this establishment. Apart from the very bad use of language and terrible spelling ..... VETERINARIAN .... I would suggest that you visit Francesco's and see for yourself.

Overpriced and poor service. Veterinarians are NOT welcome at this disgraceful establishment. The waitress was very rude.

Good food, friendly service, lovely atmosphere

Best carvery I've been in England, honestly. Fresh meat (with real pork, not ham), fresh veggies, amazing puddings. Friendly staff. Fair price. 10 out of 10!

Family meal, we all had different dishes and everyone's was Delicious with little extras of fresh vegetables perfect . Would highly recommend, very friendly staff , so welcoming.

We have dined twice at the restaurant, once on a lunch time and once on an evening. The food is excellent, the first time we visited on a lunchtime and we both ordered an omelette which were really good. We enjoyed the evening menu having spaghetti carbonara and a spaghetti bolognese. The starter of garlic mushrooms were very tasty. We have booked again and taking friends with us this time. Highly recommended.

We have been a few times recently for the Sunday lunchtime carvery and the food has always been exceptional. A fantastic choice of quality food, at very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit .

It is a little hidden away and doesn't look like your traditional Italian restaurant however, you just have to sample the food. Three of us had a carvery and we all agreed that it was the best carvery we had tasted in years. The meat was so succulent and tender, the vegetables were cooked perfectly and Francesco did 2 things that 99% of restaurants don't do and that is use fresh ingredients and season their meals. I can't recommend this place enough. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is so calming. Lovely clean place with amazing food.

Visited with family and the menu was limited... Choice of about 4 dishes and nothing was designated vegetarian. So I asked if they could knock up a veggie dish and to be fair, they obliged and offered a mushroom dish. As a veggie, I'm always really wary of places where the menu has limited veggie options aa, in my experience, it's because they dont appreciate the significance of the vegetarian/vegan movement and therefore, are probably not well read on what ingredients are and aren't vegetarian. Well, looking forward to my veggie dish I tucked in... only to bite into the biggest lump of gristle!! Clearly NOT vegetarian. My initial concerns about eating here were well founded. They served beef. I know this because a lifelong veggie can detect beef and its distinct aftertaste. The waitress had made an error in the taking down of the order and hadn't specified veggie and the kitchen had clearly forgotten the request just 5 minutes earlier. To top it off (pardon the pun) they offered to sprinkle my beef dish with parmesan!? Which is also NOT vegetarian! I felt like vomiting, but didn't wish to offend family who were paying for it, so politely made an excuse that I wasnt feeling well or hungry and left the meal. If you are in the restaurant business nowadays, you need to be up to speed with allergies and special diets. Vegetarian diet is not hard to cater for! Needless to say, it was my first and last time eating here. Such a shame though, as we probably would eat here lots if this unfortunate disaster hadn't occured. They really seem to be working hard and the service was good.

Regularly go here for breakfast and have also had some lovely evening meals.The owner is always pleasant and friendly and the restaurant is spotlessly clean.Would recommend it.
