Frama is a great coffee shop, and the coffee is exceptional. Whenever my friends come to visit, they always ask if we can stop by to pick up a flat white or a cappuccino!

Sadly a terrible experience visiting this coffee shop. Really high hopes because we read the reviews beforehand and enjoy our coffee - living near many great coffee shops and roasteries. I ordered 2 oat flat whites and when they came they were so milky and had an ‘off’ taste. So I returned them, checked they were oat and explained they were too milky and asked to change them to oat macchiato, the barista said yes and made these. When I collected them he asked for the payment, and I explained that as they were replacements for the ones that I returned I wouldn’t pay. He then said ‘do you know how much it costs me to make a coffee?’, ‘we are the best coffee in Frome’, ‘you obviously don’t know good coffee and perhaps you should go to Starbucks…’ - we then left with a very (literal) bitter tastes in our mouth. What a shame. Perhaps a bad day, but still absolutely no need to be horrible to customers.

We (being locals and familiar with this little treasure) brought some family members who live elsewhere, and they were totally blown away with the friendliness, the atmosphere and the service. They have said they will definitely be back. So will we!

Frome is lucky to have a coffee shop of this calibre. The owner is friendly, extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic about coffee and makes a beautiful espresso, a rarity and a joy when you find it. The cafe, although quite small, is well thought-out and the interior design builds on the idea of ‘flow’, both from the perspective of the local river and the espresso-making process which emphasises the ease of flow of water through the coffee grounds. The cups are unusual and put me in mind of a Japanese tea ceremony, making the espresso drinking more of an event. My drinking companion was equally delighted with her oat flat white. The cafe uses coffee from Round Hill Roastery and I went off with a bag of their beans. Do support this gem of a place.

Only the best will do, if it’s not up to standard he’ll make it again. If you’re looking for the best coffee in Frome, Frama

Properly delicious coffee, with several varieties to choose from. Whether you're a coffee snob or not, this place will satisfy your needs for a proper cup - easily the best in Frome. The shop is small but charming and if you can get a seat it's got a lovely vibe and decor. Excellent biscuits and cakes too. Only wish is that there were more seats so I could guarantee to park myself there all day!

Relaxed space serving possibility the best speciality coffee I’ve ever had. Scrumptious cakes too. Great cubby hole out the back for work & catchups. Worth a de-tour if in the area.

Excellent ice creams, great variety and flavour. I visited with my dogs on a really hot day in July. Perfect way to cool down. Also a special mention to the pet shop Wiggle and Wag which shares a site with the gelato shop. Both great.

We don’t really know Dorking but came for a comedy gig and wanted food and drink before the show. We booked a table online and then were a bit confused when we walked in as it’s looks like a work space but then has a bar and says it served food. The staff explained they had a limited menu currently. As we were there and we’d booked we thought we’d give it a go. We ordered halloumi fries to start and then various burgers - whilst initially worried this was just going to be a zap in the microwave job; how wrong we were. The food was so good. The food was restaurant quality!! The staff (particularly the gent I assume was the manager) were so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely go again; and look forward to when they have their full menu.

A truly great evening was had last night. We went for a Christmas meal, and from the point of arrival when we found “Thatchers Zero” in the fridge for the designated driver, to settling up at the end of the evening the experience was great. Super friendly staff, and a well behaved pub dog who just had a look of “please love me” on his face. The food was superb, and the price was good value for money. I would definitely recommend the pub.

Visited Glastonbury whilst on a weeks break in Crewkerne. Popped into to this lovely cafe as it was dog friendly. Forgetting my glasses I asked if they catered for gluten free, they did (it stated it on the menu). As I ordered the lady behind the counter asked if I was coeliac, I told her I was. When the food was brought to the table, the lady explained that she had cleaned the kitchen and prepared my food using all new unopened ingredients. All I had was a corned beef and onion sandwich, but the attention to detail was second to none. Really recommend this place to coeliacs and non coeliacs.

The Sunrise Cafe may look like an ordinary cafe on the outside but inside the food is something special! Choose something from The Thai menu if you like Thai food and you will experience some of the best authentic Thai cooking outside Thailand! We stopped here for lunch after driving around the Malvern Hills all morning thinking it was just a normal cafe but discovered that it also had a Thai Menu cooked by a delightful Thai lady Chef called "Jim". I am not sure how she came by that name but she was definitely a woman! We chose Tom Yum chicken soup and checked that would not be too spicy hot first. It was perfect and also contained Mushroom, Sping Onion and Tomato. Incredibly tasty with a mild warmth aftertaste. We followed this with a Chicken Massaman Curry which included a Jasmine sticky rice. The curry was the best we have tasted. It looked so appetising with it's rich golden colour. The friendly Hungarian waitress also supplied us with water and afterwards my wife Angie had a hot chocolate and I had a White Cofffee. A fantastic meal and drinks for just under £20 a head. If you are touring the Malverns this is worth taking a detour for! It is open from about 8:30 am to 4pm this time of the year and has a garden available at the back for outdoor seating in the summer months. The Cafe also serves a range of cooked breakfasts and lunches or hot sandwiches, some deserts, milkshakes, hot and cold drinks.
